This was not the kiss of a man who didn’t know what he was doing. Oh no, he knew exactly what he was about and the way he devoured her mouth told her so.
Dipping his legs, he positioned his thick shaft right at the V of her thighs and pushed up. If he were naked, his thick, mushroomed head would be in her cervix. Panting with desire, she took pleasure in the press of his body against hers. Forcing her head to the side as she took in a deep breath, she felt wetness seeping into her panties. “Oh fuck,” she moaned.
Damian grabbed one of her legs with his hand, lifting it up by his side, giving him more room to tease and tantalize her. “Not yet, but soon. Just a little more, baby. I’ve waited all week to kiss you.” Dropping his head to her neck, his teeth scraped the skin just below her ear.
What suspiciously sounded like a growl came out of his mouth just before his teeth captured her skin and muscle in a firm grip. Not enough to break the skin or truly harm her, but enough to let her know that he was fast losing control.
One of his hands traveled to the front of her pants, undoing the clasp and pulling the zipper down. A part of her wanted to stop him, but she’d stopped any sense of rational thought as soon as his lips had captured hers in that mind-blowing kiss. His hand delved inside her silk underwear until he reached the treasure he’d been seeking. Heat and embarrassment covered her face as his finger touched the wetness that could not be denied.
He released a deep sigh, his face lifting from her neck and looking at her again as she stood in front of him. Lips swollen, clothes disheveled, and surely looking as if she needed to be fucked.
“Baby, is that all for me?” A smile covered his face.
“You know it is,” she whispered. Why deny what they both knew to be true?
“Don’t look away,” he grunted. Feeling her slickness, he moaned, his lips still attached to hers. “You’ve made this so easy for me. You’re so wet for me. Just like I want. I can’t wait to slide my dick inside you.”
Using two fingers, he separated her folds, the third he used to toy with her sensitive bud. Though his touches were light, it might as well have been a live electrical wire. Each touch jolted her body. One thick digit slipped inside of her and she almost came right then. It felt so goddamn good. Sliding his finger inside and then removing it until only the tip of the digit remained, he grinned as he heard her moan in ecstasy.
His lips captured hers in a sensuous kiss, their tongues dueling for dominance. The sounds of her panting filled the room as he continued to drive her crazy with just his fingers. All thought escaped her as his tongue licked and toyed with hers. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she returned the ferocity of his kiss. Spreading her legs even wider, she gave him greater access to her warm honeypot. Her knees were weak under the power that surged through her each time his thumb rubbed against her hardened clit. It felt as though every ounce of heat in her body was centered between her legs.
She'd never been kissed like this before. No, this wasn’t just a kiss. This was domination. This was a claiming. Her pussy grew slick with moisture while he pressed his pelvis into her. His fingers continued toying with her, sliding in and out of her hot channel as she spiraled faster toward a mind-blowing orgasm.
“I need to see all of you. I need you naked.” His harsh voice broke through her panting. Within moments, he’d removed her layers of clothing as she continued standing in front of him. Her suit was strewn across the office floor as he bared her body to his heated gaze.
He pulled out his thick cock, positioning it at her hot channel. “Tell me now if you don’t want this. If you don’t want me. Once we do this, there’s no going back. I’m not walking away from you. No matter what you say…or anyone else…you’ll be mine.”
He licked her neck with a long swipe of this tongue. Teeth grabbing her earlobe, he dipped his hips and used an upward motion to tap the head of his cock against her wet pussy. Laughing at her attempts to get him to slide inside of her, he held on to her hips, keeping her right where he wanted her.
He hadn’t wanted their first time to be in her office after a long day of work, but he was no longer able to hold back. It had nearly killed him this week, being around her, but unable to touch, kiss, fuck.
“Enough of this. I’m done waiting. You belong to me, Terra.”
Without waiting for her to verbally respond, he grabbed her by the ass and lifted her against the wall. Propping his dick against the entrance to her cunt, he kissed her again, softening the roughness of his earlier actions. Holding her with one hand, he squeezed one of her breasts with the other hand as he drove his cock into her. She took him in, with a soft cry of pleasure. Her pussy throbbed and clenched as he thrust into her and fucked her.
And, oh, did he ever fuck her.
Grunting like an animal, he fucked her hard. And she loved it. She cried out in pleasure as he stroked his thick member inside her body. His huge cock filled her completely, tickling every inch of her hot channel. Her moans grew louder and more desperate as he picked up his pace and increased his power as he surged inside of her. She clung to him greedily while he kept her just on the edge of orgasm. She jerked her hips in time with his, desperate for release. She bit down on her lip as the pressure inside her quickly rose, taking over her body.
Terra cried out as she came, clutching him from within throughout her powerful orgasm. While the electricity coursing through her body tapered off, she watched as he came, giving short, strong thrusts as he finished, and finally, shuddered and collapsed against her, panting, and still holding her in his arms.
She stroked the back of his neck, nuzzling his cheek, catching her breath.
“I wanted to do that the second I saw you downstairs that first day,” he whispered into her ear. He pulled back, slipping his dick from her. Cupping her face in his palm, he kissed her lips, softly and gently this time.
“You should have,” she purred back.
He chuckled shyly as he bent down to grab her silk chemise and hand it to her. Putting it on quickly over her head, she covered up her bare breasts. She was all about being free and open with her lover, but they were still in her office at her place of business. His dick hadn’t made her that damn crazy.
The sound of his hesitant laughter brought a smile to her face. She brushed a lock of hair from over his eyes. “Are you hungry?”
His eyes locked on hers. “Starving.”
CHAPTER SEVEN
After that night of office sex, Terra and Damian couldn’t get enough of each other. They spent each night together for the next two weeks and their lovemaking hadn’t slowed down one bit. If anything, it got hotter.
Both of them were trying to figure out how to get to the bottom of whatever was happening with the casino during the day, while their nights were spent in each other’s arms, making love until the sun came up.
Damian had contacted some of his acquaintances to try and see what they could find. Terra, on the other hand, was working with her girls to try and see what they could figure out through their own connections. Things were getting hot and heavy with the hotel, and with her and Damian.
Unfortunately, they were running out of time on both issues. The more they worked on peeling back the layers on the hotel sabotage, the more they realized that something else was going on.
“I don’t know why we can’t find anything on this bitch,” Terra groused. “How the fuck could she have escaped so fast, with no trace left behind?”
Damian paced the floor in front of her. She knew he was just as pissed as she was, but there was nothing he could do to make this right. They had done everything they could to find Milley. But the bitch had disappeared into thin air and no one could find her. Terra had used everything available to her, every connection she had, and still nothing. This made no sense.
“Babe, you’re gonna have to let me handle this. I know you want to do it yourself, but it’s becoming too much. You’re stressed out all the time, you’re not sleeping at night, and I’m tired of seeing
you like this.”
The snapback was immediate. “Don’t tell me what to do. Just because we’re fucking doesn’t mean you get to run my life. This bitch has fucked with my world, my friends, and she has messed with my money. That’s the one thing you never do. My money is sacred. I have every right to be stressed out because we haven’t found her. And you can leave if you can’t handle me right now.”
She was pissed and it just so happened that Damian was in her line of sight. It wasn’t his fault this was happening, but he’d been sent here for a purpose. And now, three weeks later, his purpose hadn’t been finished.
“Are you serious with this shit right now? Is that all we’re doing? Fucking?” he yelled, his voice booming loud within the office.
Glaring at each other, she knew the shit was about to hit the fan. Damian’s face was filled with anger and his lips had thinned out. His beautiful blue eyes looked like a storm-tossed ocean. She’d never riled him up like this before, but maybe this was a good thing.
“What else do we have? When this is over, you’re leaving. Going back to your life. And then where will I be?” Now the truth was coming out. “I’ll be that young girl with tears in her eyes watching you leave. I won’t allow you to do that to me again.”
Terra knew the real issue was with her feelings about him. Loving him was all she’d known for so many years. Right when she’d gotten to the point of accepting that they weren’t meant to be, he showed up in her life. The thought of losing him again, and watching him walk away a second time, was not something she was willing to deal with. Plus, just thinking about him leaving made her cranky and highly pissed off.
It was time they had it out and put their feelings on the table. Was she afraid to show vulnerability in front of Damian? Damn right she was. On the other hand, until she talked with him about everything, including how she felt, this feeling of unease would never go away. With the impending separation once they solved the issue with her casino, and his increasing unease being away from home for so long, they were both on edge. This was just the thing to clear the air. Or at least it would have been.
Just as he was about to open his mouth, they were interrupted.
Dredd knocked on the door and walked into the room without waiting for a response.
“What the fuck is going on in here? I can hear you guys all the way down the damn hallway. The people outside are wondering if you were about to be capped, Damian. You know my girl don’t play, so you might as well stop pissing her off.”
She stood, smiling over at Terra with a look that said, “you’re welcome for me getting your ass out of hot water.” Only her friends could cut their eyes at her like that.
Dredd walked further into the room and sat down on the couch. Propping her feet up on the table, she folded her arms over her stomach. A smile covered her face as she looked between the two people standing across from her. “So guess what?”
“Dredd, I don’t have time for this.” Terra continued pacing across the room as if she were stalking a lion. The electricity flowing within her was about to explode. There was too much going on and she needed an outlet.
Looking at Damian, she knew he was the best option. By the look on his face, he wasn’t done with her either. Fight or fuck. Those were their options. Dredd needed to get the hell out of her office because she was almost positive they’d both choose option B: Fuck.
Breathing deeply, she stopped her manic pacing and stood still as she tried to calm her anger. Hands shaking, she knew whatever was going on with her hotel had Milley all over it. It was the only explanation. Who else would be so intent on wanting them to fail?
Gulfport was new to all of them when they’d relocated. There were no enemies peeking around the corner. At least not that she knew of. Damn.
She wanted this situation dealt with now. It was taking too long to handle this and she was done, tired of dealing with the bullshit. She’d never been in a situation where she hadn’t been able to handle her business on her own. The fact that she was still dealing with this, more than a year down the road, pissed her off more than anything.
“Dredd,” Damian bit out, “quit fucking around and tell us what you know.” With a snarl on his face, he looked over at her friend sitting on the couch, and Terra almost smiled. At least he’d taken his heated glare off her.
Watching him and Dredd spar back and forth had become her new favorite spectator sport. Over the few weeks that he’d been with them, Damian had come to know Dredd, Emmaline, and Dylan. She’d like to think the one he connected the most with was Dredd.
Although she’d never admit it, her friend needed someone like Damian to look after her; as a friend, as a brother. They seemed to have similar personalities. Basically, the two of them didn’t really give a shit about anyone else, except those closest to them.
“Well, if you’re gonna be a bitch about it, I just may not tell you after all.”
Terra threw a look in her direction and raised her eyebrow.
Dredd couldn’t help herself. It was as if she had the compulsion to fuck with Damian every day or else she wasn’t complete. That Damian allowed her such freedom was the biggest surprise of all. Giving her friend a soft smile, Terra walked over to her desk and leaned back, waiting for more fireworks to go off.
Damian’s face bore a look of smugness. His lips tilted in a half-smile as he turned away from both of them and walked over to the hutch to make himself a drink. “Hmph. How about this? If you don’t tell us what you know in five seconds, I won’t give you the gift I had sent down from DC.”
Terra knew they were now officially off track. Dredd was a tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners kind of chick, and the bleached skeletons of her victims were more than likely buried in the abandoned construction site a few miles up the road. But when it came to gifts and surprises, she lost her mind.
“Damian, did you have to bring that up to her?” Rolling her eyes, Terra walked behind her desk and sat down in the leather chair. That man spoiled not only her but all her friends as well. If he had something shipped down for Dredd, then you could bet your ass he also had something for Emmaline and Dylan.
The door swung open just as that thought finished going through her head. Speak of the devil and he...she…THEY…would appear. Her office had become their primary meeting location during the past few weeks. With all the activity they each had going on, they had to meet somewhere. Her office made the most sense.
A smile covered her face as she thought about how angry she’d been just a few minutes ago. Around this group, her fits of temper never lasted long. They’d do something to make her laugh or smile, and her anger would disappear like smoke.
Emmaline strolled in first, her handy-dandy notebook and pen in her hand. “What’s this I hear about gifts being delivered from DC? I hope you remembered that I wanted that new forensic accounting software program I mentioned a week ago. I’ll be very disappointed if you got me,” she shuddered, “a new handbag or some such nonsense.”
“Emma, you’re so damn weird,” Dylan said with a laugh. “Where did you come from? See, Terra, I told you about picking up strays. No matter how much I’ve tried to make her normal, she won’t budge.” Walking over to the leather chair, she fell back on the cushioned piece of furniture and propped her legs on the padded arms. “Now, me on the other hand, Damian knows I want a custom-made chrome Sig Sauer .45 with a special over-the-shoulder holster. If anyone got a gift, it was me.”
“I hate all of you. You know that, right?” Terra sucked her teeth and gave a side-eye to her best friends.
“Hello,” Dredd yelled out. “Remember me? The woman with the good news?”
“What good news?” Dylan asked as she poured herself a scotch from Terra’s in-office bar.
“I know who’s behind all this bullshit. And you’ll never fucking believe who it is.” She smiled smugly and leaned back, crossing her hands behind her head.
Terra gritted her teeth in frustration. If she didn’t love this chick s
o much, she’d kick her out of her damn office.
“Dredd,” Emmaline called out. The steel that filled her voice surprised everyone in the room. “Cut the shit and get to talking.”
Dredd’s eyes opened wide in shock. Looking at their friends, she raised an eyebrow in question. Emma never spoke to them like that. Not that she couldn’t, she just never did. That tone was reserved for those outside their circle.
Dylan whistled low under her breath and sat down on the arm of one chair.
“Damn,” Terra said in awe. “Dredd, I think you’d better get to talking. So, who is it?”
After another second of staring at Emma in shock, she sat up straight. “Bixby LaCroix.”
Shouts rang out in the room as everyone responded to the name. Everyone except for Damian. The reaction was definitely warranted. Terra sat down heavy in her office chair, her head pressed against the back. This shit could not be happening right now.
Dredd continued, “Apparently, he wanted this place to run drugs and prostitutes. We beat him to the punch. He’s been trying to get us to walk away ever since.”
“LaCroix, as in Bao LaCroix?” It was a question that needed to be asked, even if everyone knew the answer. “Is the Asian Cajun involved in this?” Dylan’s voice was soft, filled with shock and surprise.
“No,” Dredd yelled as she stood up from her seat. “He would never…No. He wouldn’t do this to us. To me.” The hurt-filled tone captured everyone’s attention.
Terra’s heart beat rapidly. They finally had a name behind all the shit happening. Which meant they could come up with a solution. After taking a moment for the relief to flood through her veins, a second thought entered her head. “Are you sure?”
