'Because, I know very well, you cannot kill me. You have come here to kill the people of Ekchakranagari, but we'll no let you do so.' Saket challenged Durbheeksh.
'Oh really, you really think your these troops can stop me and my army?' Durbheeksh laughed.
'Come with your army, we are ready to face you.' Saket replied.
'Ok fine, let's do it.' Durbheeksh stepped backward and came at the center of his army.
Thereafter, he commanded his troops, 'Soldiers, destroy each and every soldier and citizen of Ekchakranagari. But remember one thing, their leader should not be harmed, we have to capture him.'
The demon's army rushed towards the gate of the palace. The thirty thousand troops of Ekchakranagari tightened their grip on their weapons. At the very next moment, Saket signaled two of his soldier.
On this signal, both the soldier pushed the two levers attached to the gate. The demon's army were stunned seeing the result, there was a huge chasm created on the ground. It was a deep trench, which was covered by the grasses. It was terrifying furnace in that trench, as soon as they came contact with the open air, the furnace erupted. The demons started falling in that trench due to their overspeed. Hundreds of the demons troops were burned alive in that trench.
Durbheeksh signaled his troops to stop, 'Hmm…, nice strategy. I underestimated you, but you are much better. It was totally unpredictable, good job Saket. ( He turned towards Vakrbaahu ) Vakrbaahu…'
'Waiting for your order, my lord.' Vakrbaahu replied.
'Destroy this army in front of you.' Durbheeksh commanded Vakrbaahu.
Vakrbaahu lifted up a huge rock with all his strength. The troops of Ekchakranagari were terrified seeing his immense strength. Vakrbaahu thrown that rock towards those troops.
Many soldiers were buried and killed under that rock. The ground was filled with the streams of blood. Again Vakrbaahu lifted up a rock and thrown it towards the opponent army. The result was the same, again several troops were buried under that rock again. The troops of Ekchakranagari came forward and started throwing spears towards Vakrbaahu.
Vakrbaahu summoned all his strength, raised his size and turned himself in a huge mammoth.
Saket as well as the whole army of Ekchakanagari were terrified seeing this. The spears collided but not even a scratch could be seen on Vakrbaahu's body.
'Vakrbaahu, Crush them all, except Saket.' Durbheeksh commanded him.
Vakrbaahu roared and rushed towards the soldiers of Ekchakranagari and crossed the main gate from the path where there was no trench. That whole of the ground was vibrating, as if there is an earthquake.
There was a huge commotion among the troops of Ekchakranagari. Inside as well as outside the gate of the palace were filled with streams of blood and dead bodies.
Saket was in deep shock. He was feeling helpless, as his troops were dying in front of him and he could do nothing.
When Durbheeksh found the path is clear, he pulled the rein of his horse and rushed towards the gate of the palace. He came nearer to Saket and stepped down from the horse.
'Now what elder? Look at your troops. They all are afraid, and are running to save their lives.'
Prince Saket was completely disturbed, but then he also tried to gain control over his mind, 'But still you failed in your mission. You arrived here to kill the innocent people of Ekchakranagari, but we succeeded to save them all. Soon they all will cross the border of Ekchakranagari, You can never reach them.'
Durbheeksh was furious listening this, 'I will find them and crush them under my feet. You just wait and watch.'
Durbheeksh pushed Saket on the ground, and rushed towards his horse.
'Soldiers, stop him.' Saket ordered his troops.
On his command around twenty soldiers tightened their grips on their respective weapons and rushed towards Durbheeksh.
Seeing this, Durbheeksh stared at Vakrbaahu and commanded him, 'Vakrbaahu, make sure that the peoples of Ekchakranagari could not cross the gate of the palace.'
'Sure my lord.' Vakrbaahu again turned into a huge mammoth and rushed towards the other end of the palace.
While Durbheeksh was surrounded by around twenty soldiers, he was continuously staring at Saket, 'Do you really think, these troops can stop me?'
Saket didn't replied, he was worried about his people. Vakrbaaahu was chasing them, he also rushed and followed him.
While Durbheeksh pulled out his two swords from the respective sheaths, and stared at the soldiers who surrounded him. The demon's army rushed towards him to secure him, but Durbheeksh signalled to stop, 'Wait soldiers, it's my job.'
The demon troops kept their weapons down. Durbheeksh was staring at the twenty soldiers, who were eagerly waiting for a chance to attack him.
At the very next moment, several spears from all the four sides tried to stab Durbheeksh. But he jumped and stood up on that spear. Before those soldiers could pull back those spears, he jumped again and beheaded four of them in just one attack with tremendous speed.
As a result, a gap created through which Durbheeksh jumped out of that surrounding. He turned back again, and before those troops could understand anything he beheaded three more.
'Seven down, thirteen more to go.' Durbheeksh stared at those soldiers.
While Vakrbaahu was chasing the people and remaining soldiers. The troops of Ekchakranagari and their people were about to cross the gate of the palace. But Vakrbaahu reached there, before they could cross the gate.
The soldiers of Ekchakranagari started opening the gate. Vakrbaahu lifted up a huge rock and thrown it towards the gate. The people were terrified seeing this. Vakrbaahu again lifted up some huge rocks and thrown it towards the gate of the palace. The gate was closed with the huge rocks.
While on the other side Durbheeksh killed all the twenty warriors. His sword was filled with blood. He looked over his sword, 'Well, it was a great experience. Really enjoyed it.'
Durbheeksh ascended on his horse and rushed towards another gate of the palace. Saket chased him.
After they left, Sage Omeshwar and Vikramajit entered the main gate of Ekchakranagari. The army of demons were dancing and going behind their leader Durbheeksh.
Sage Omeshwar and Vikramajit were stunned with the scene in front of them. As soon as they crossed the main gate of the palace, they saw the bunch of dead bodies in front of them, whole land turned red due to blood streams. Thousand of lifeless bodies were appearing to be building of deads. Heads without bodies and the crushed ones were spreaded all over.
'This much cruelty, I can't even guss that Surjan could do this. He has crossed his limits, we have to kill him anyhow.' Sage Omeshwar stepped forward
Then only they saw one injured soldier. Vikramajit supported him and brought him near Sage Omeshwar. The army of demons were still walking on the path through which Durbheeksh went.
'What actually happened here? Tell me.' Sage Omeshwar asked that soldier.
'Although Prince Surjan killed only our twenty troops, but that huge mammoth, he didn' gave the chance to anyone to save his life, he ruthlessly crushed many of us.' That soldier described about the war.
'It means Vakrbaahu is the one who murdered them all, how could he be so ruthless.' Sage Omeshwar was losing his temper.
Vikramajit tried to convince him, 'Calm down Sage, control yourself.'
'Slavery doesn't mean this, that he could ruthlessly killed this much. Also he went behind the people of Ekchakranagari. Now he will kill them too.' Sage Omeshwar was quite shocked.
'We have to reach there as soon as possible, sage.' Vikramajit suggested.
'You are a criminal Vakrbaahu, I'll not forgive for your sins. Let's go.' Sage Omeshwar and Vikramajit went behind the demon's army.
While on the other side Durbheeksh reached at the other end of the palace with his demon's army.
Saket and the remaining thirty thousand soldiers were also present there. Still the people were terrified.
Durbheeksh stared at almost every fa
ce, each was filled with terror. He closed his eyes for a while, it was hard to guess his next step.
At the very next moment, he opened his eyes and announced, 'I am not a coward, I cannot kill people who are already terrified. I came here, just to take the revenge for my humiliation. So I want that child, who was the route of my humiliation, who threw shit on me first.'
There was a huge silence among the people.
'I am giving you a chance, think once again. I am just asking for that one child, and I'll leave you all.' Durbheeksh warned again.
It was very difficult to search for that child in that huge crowd. But that child was brave enough, he came out of that crowd.
'I am here in front of you.' That child said bravely.
Durbheeksh pulled out a sword from his sheath, and stepped towards that child. That child was quite afraid, but he successfully hided his expression.
Durbheeksh came closer and stared at him. At the very next moment, the mother of that child came and grabbed the feet of the Demon Lord.
'Please, Please, forgive my son, my lord. Please.' She cried.
While Saket tried to convince him, 'You are not a demon, Surjan. You are not a beast, how could you be so cruel?'
Durbheeksh was silent for a while, after some time he stared at Saket, 'I am not Surjan. I am the Demon Lord, the Demon Lord Durbheeksh.'
Saying this, he swings his sword towards the neck of that child. But before that sword could behead that child, he himself stopped.
Saket noticed it and pinched him again, 'Look at yourself Surjan, you are a warrior. How could you kill an innocent child? The people you killed till now were the armed warriors. But he is a disarmed innocent boy. You can forgive yourself if you will kill him. You still have the humanity and compassion in your heart.'
The hands of Durbheeksh were vibrating, then only demon's mentor Bhairavnath arrived there. He looked over Durbheeksh and noticed the seriousness of situation.
'What are you waiting for, my lord? Kill him.' Bhairavnath provoked Durbheeksh.
'No, no, Surjan. You are still a human, don't be as cruel as the demons.' Saket tried to stop him.
'No, my lord. You should avenge for your humiliation, kill that child, he is not innocent.' Bhairavnath provoked him again.
Durbheeksh was in great confusion, whether he should kill that child or not. Finally, he decided something in his mind and raised his sword. Everyone was terrified, and were waiting for his next act.
The wait was over, Durbheeksh made a fierce attack. But that attack was on the ground. That child was safe. The eyes of Durbheeksh were filled with pain, he stared at that child for a while. Thereafter, he looked over the whole crowd.
'Death is not a punishment, it's a prize for you all. So, I'll not kill anyone of you.' Durbheeksh announced.
The people were still terrified. Durbheeksh stared at them again, 'Don't worry, I'll not kill anyone of you. But believe me, my next step will give you a painful life. I remember every one of you. Since two years, I am living a life painful than death, just because of you all. I lost my father too because of it. I'll not forgive anyone of you. '
Durbheeksh turned towards his soldiers, 'Demons…, destroy their villages, grains, food and all other resources of life. And one more thing, no one should be killed. I want them to beg for death.'
On the command of the Demon Lord, the demon's army rushed to destroy the resources of Ekchakranagari.
Saket tried to stop Durbheeksh, 'No, Surjan. You can't do like this.'
Durbheeksh pushed him on the ground.
While Vakrbaahu was standing still.
'What are you waiting for? Do you need any special command?' Durbheeksh pinched him.
'Me too?' Vakrbaahu asked.
'Yes, of course. You are the army chief, your presence is necessary. Destroy their resources.'
'Sure, my lord.' Vakrbaahu was feeling helpless, but he was compelled to follow the command of the Demon Lord.
Sage Omeshwar and Vikramajit were listening all this.
'We have to save the villages and resources. Otherwise people of Ekchakarnagari will die through starvation. We have to face Vakrbaahu and the demon's army first. And your job is to defeat Vakrbaahu, I wil tell you his weakness.' Sage Omeshwar continued explaining his plan to Vikramajit.
While Saket stood up and came nearer to Durbheeksh, 'You have lost your humanity, Surjan.'
'Yes, of course. I am a demon now, the lord of demons Durbheeksh.' Durbheeksh said proudly.
Durbheeksh captured Saket and bounded him with heavy chains, and tied him with a chariot. Thereafter, he ascended on that chariot, and pulled the reins of those horses. Saket was dragged through those heavy chains.
While Sage Omeshwar and Vikramajit crossed the path of Vakrbaahu and the demons. The eyes of Vakrbaahu was down looking at his mentor.
'Vakrbaahu, just leave. I'll forgive for your sins.' Sage Omeshwar warned him.
'I am sorry, Gurudev. But I have to follow the command of my leader.' Vakrbaahu joined his hand in front of his mentor.
'I just don't want to see his face. Vikramajit, remove him. I'll take care of the rest of the demon's army.' Sage Omeshwar commanded Vikramajit and rushed towards the demons.
While Vikaramjit rushed towards Vakrbaahu and jumped on him. Vakrbaahu made a fierce blow on his chest and thrown him around ten yards away from him. The eighteen year old boy Vikramajit was stunned to see the muscular strength of his opponent.
'He is much stronger than me, I have to use that trick what Sage Omeshwar had told me.' Vikramajit rushed towards Vakrbaahu again. He jumped and reached his back side. Within moments he pressed on the weaker vein of his left shoulder (which Dushal pressed while fighting with him years before). As a result, the half body part of Vakrbaahu was paralyzed for moments. Thereafter, Vikramajit again pressed the other weak vain of his right shoulder. Vakrbaahu falls on the ground, he was defeated.
While Sage Omeshwar with the sword in his both hands rushed towards the demon's army. That sage with divine power of five elements wreaks havoc among the demon's army. The demons were terrified seeing his speed and strength. He killed almost hundreds of demons with his tremendous speed and strength within few time. Vakrbaahu was also down, no one was there to lead the demon's army. So they started moving back.
While on the other side, Durbheeksh pulled the rein of his horse to stop the chariot. Thereafter, he jumped from the chariot and came nearer to Saket. He was badlly injured.
'So what did you received from all this?' Surjan (Durbheeksh) grabbed the collar of Saket.
'Try to understand, Surjan. It was a misunderstanding, listen to me.' Saket tried to convince Surjan.
Surjan pushed back Saket.
Thereafter, he brought Saket up and looked over his eyes, 'I am very well aware of the reason, why you expelled me from this kingdom. You were afraid that I am much better than you, so I will be more popular than you among our people and I will take over you throne. How could you think that? You were my elder, I never ever thought of that. And you, you accused me of killing my own mother, what's my fault if she died giving birth to me.' Surjan pushed him back again.
