and Sobriety Rocks!!! I will pay this no more attention and I encourage all of you to do the same. God Bless all of you and thank you all for all your support!”

The fact that media sites reporting on this non-news story didn’t even fact-check with Presley or ask for his side of the story is very telling. Now a personal conversation on planes is news? This interaction will only encourage more psycho fans and their delusions. Also, it’s impossible for any stranger to possibly gauge, understand or judge a person’s intricate marriage (or sobriety) based on a chance encounter on a plane. What is this world coming to? I mean, who doesn’t flirt even if they adorn a wedding ring. I flirt with women on planes… does that mean I’m straight?

Gotta run… Brad Pitt is sitting next to me on my flight to L.A.

The only positive element of this story is: Why hasn’t a soap cast the talented and gorgeous Presleys yet? It’s been far too long.

  COVER STORY

NADIA’S THEME: HAPPY PRIDE MONTH WITH BEAUTIFUL NADIA BJORLIN

How dare she? She may not be on our TV screens, but it’s always fun to catch up with one of the funniest, wittiest, and most talented stars on the planet: Ms. Nadia Bjorlin. In honour of Pride Month, UNCENSORED sat down with Bjorlin to see what life is like post-DIRTY SOAP, post-DAYS and in between seasons of VENICE. And she had some news for me: She’s joining Crystal Chappell’s new web soap, THE GROVE!

How was pilates? I’m impressed you went to pilates after Gay Pride Weekend in L.A.

I was trying to sweat out some of that booze! Oh, Lord!

  How was Gay Pride?

You guys sure know how to drink — that’s for sure! We went to a pool party and then another friend’s house party, so we were out all day and night. We avoided the parade because it’s such a clusterfuck trying to find parking, etc. People are crazy.

The parade began as a political revolt but in big cities like Toronto, New York and L.A. there’s no point anymore. It’s become too commercial and lost a lot of its significance. But Gay Pride is still important, especially in your country!

Gay Pride is kind of pointless in Hollywood because it’s Gay Pride here every day! [Laughs]

Farah Fath basically tweeted that same sentiment over the weekend.

You’re a minority in West Hollywood if you’re not gay!

You’re probably mobbed being a gay icon thanks to VENICE.

[Joking] I enjoy that; it’s fine. It’s more intense now thanks to VENICE, for sure.

Were you happy with President Barack Obama lending his support to gay marriage?

Yes, absolutely. It’s about time. It’s incredible how far we’ve come but how much further we still have to go as a society. Living in L.A. and working in the entertainment industry, I never think about the gay issue because it’s such a non-issue. I wish the rest of the country was on the same page. It does make me more grateful for all the rights and freedoms I have. It’s mindboggling that not everyone has ‘em.

That same week, hell froze over and B&B launched its first gay storyline in its 25-year history! And your BFF, Crystal Chappell, is starring in it. God, you’re the only person in the Beemer-Chappell circle who hasn’t been on B&B!

[Laughs] Exactly! Where’s my invite, damn it?! I’m happy for Crystal! I’m never surprised when Crystal does something amazing and revolutionary. I haven’t been watching B&B since Brandon hasn’t been on the show, to be honest, but I would like to see Crystal on the show. I’m sure it’s pretty hot.

It’s nice that the gay storyline isn’t about a teen coming out of the closet. Chappell’s gay character has been with her partner for 20 years and raised a kid together. You may have to join B&B as Chappell’s ex-lover!

Yes! I need to go in as the ex-lover who tries to break them up. Oh, wait: that’s Lara on VENICE! [Laughs]

Hey, I wouldn’t mind seeing you typecast as a Lara for the rest of your career!

  I wouldn’t, either, that’s for sure!

Chappell’s B&B co-star Joanna Johnson came out of the closet recently. Do you hope decisions like that will inspire other actors to own their authentic identity in public?

Oh, right. Joanna plays Linsey Godfrey’s mother, right? Yes, I remember seeing that. Linsey is Mark Hapka’s girlfriend — that’s how we all know Linsey. I think there is a pressure with gay soap actors to not disappoint your fans, especially if you’re a sex symbol. I think it’s harder for men to come out of the closet because, in daytime, men are more objectified than women. I hope Joanna’s decision encourages more actors to come out of the closet if they chose to do so. It shouldn’t be an issue but it is. I think it’s great that so many actors are coming out lately: Matt Bomer, Amber Heard, etc. No one’s really cared in the sense that it hasn’t hurt anyone’s career. That’s a positive sign.

[Joking] Maybe one day you’ll come out of the closet, too!

  [Laughs] Ha! One day!

No one would believe that, you penis lover! How are you enjoying your time off? You and Brandon have always been star-crossed co-stars… always missing each other on DAYS. Usually, when one of you is working the other is looking for work, but now you’re both in the same boat.

It’s very surreal. Sometimes I turn to him and say, “Who are you, again?” We’re spending so much time together and it’s really fun. It’s been nice. It’s a change for me because I’m used to being so busy. Not being so busy now has allowed me to take a breath and be grateful for all the things that I have around me from friends, family and being able to enjoy that and doing stuff that I normally don’t do because I’m so work-oriented. Now I get to enjoy the Californian sunshine and take some time to smell the roses, so to speak. I’m not saying I necessarily like all this time off, but since it’s out of my control, I might as well enjoy it. I’m reading books. I took time to read that stupid 50 SHADES OF GREY.

  What did you think?

Ugh, I felt like it was just another night at the Brandon-Bjorlin household! It wasn’t that sinful or scandalous, if you ask me. They’re going to make 50 SHADES a movie but I’m not sure how that’s going to work. It was a cheap thrill, that’s all I can say.

Speaking of cheap thrills, are you watching DAYS?

Not really. I tune in once in a while. If I’m at home, I always turn it on to see what’s going on. It’s been so crazy with the DAYS turnaround. I still feel like I’m keeping up with everything at DAYS because I’m still friends with so many people on the cast. I don’t always have to watch it.

  Welcome to my world.

I watched a few minutes today… to catch up on the madness. And what did I see: Who killed Stefano?! Is he really dead? Yeah, right! [Laughs]

  The killer is probably Chloe!

[Laughs] Exactly! Listen, I’m always rooting for DAYS.

  No hard feelings…

Of course not. It’s called show business for a reason. I know what happened in my situation. I would have written off Chloe myself! [Laughs] To this day, after all my years on DAYS, I still don’t know who makes the decisions on that show from storylines to casting. There are a lot of cooks in kitchen over there, which explains a lot. I wouldn’t want that job. Decisions must not be easy -- and sometimes you’re a casualty.

Well, according to several reports, you should have been back on DAYS months ago! I would’ve given Chloe a break, too, so I could bring her back and reinvent her. The only time I think of Chloe when I watch DAYS is during the Will storyline because I think it would be cool if Chloe took Will under her wing as her gay boy. That would throw Chloe into EJ and Sami’s world. I see a pocket of story and character opportunity there. I don’t know what it is about you but you’re a gay magnet!

[Laughs] Like Lady Gaga says, I was born this way!

It must be a compliment that there’s always rumours you’re coming back to DAYS.

Oh, yes! I never say never. Who knows what will happen. All I know is I’m in a really good place. Last year, I was so busy working on DAYS, DIRTY SOAP, VENICE and filming the movie DIVORCE INVITATION so I’m enjoying being available to do other projects. I’ve been getting super-close to other parts so it’s exciting. I’m enjoying being introduced to the rest of the TV world. The timing actually worked out perfectly.

[Joking] Let’s face it: You’re not getting any younger, either! [Laughs]

[Laughs] How dare you! Don’t remind me!

And Fary’s taken over the Bjorlin presence in the world now full-force!

Yes, she is. She’s been kind of quiet on Twitter lately but she’s living her life. She went to the Kentucky Derby for the first time. Heck, I’ve never been. Fary went with my DAYS mom Patrika Darbo! She just got back from New York to visit my brother. She’s going to do a lot more travelling this summer. Her stint on DIRTY SOAP definitely introduced her to another world. DIRTY SOAP helped all of our relationships. It was a positive experience. It forced all of us to face ourselves. I think my mom realized she was a little too tough on Brandon! Just a little bit…

  She wasn’t tough enough!

  [Laughs] Don’t tell her that!

  And
