Shiftless: Tuatha Series Book 1 Page 10

by Linton Bowers

All thought stopped when Tabby wrapped her hand around my manhood.

  I gasped. “What are you…”

“Shh.” Tabitha put her finger to her lips. “No talking. Just let me do what I want.” The smile dropped from her face replaced by a scowl. Tabitha was beautiful no matter what expression she wore, but I wanted that smile back.

“Okay,” I said as I held up my hands. “You win.”

And there it was, that bright gorgeous smile. Then she took me into her mouth.

Another gasp left me. I was close to telling her to stop then I realized a crazy-beautiful woman was on her knees in front of me pleasing me. Yeah, I was having troubles thinking, so I didn’t. This was little me’s territory and he could handle things from there.

After being brought close to orgasm I pulled Tabitha up and laid her on the bed next to me. I kissed her belly just above her belly button and worked my way down. When I reached the precious place between her legs I caressed her with my tongue and eventually worked my fingers inside.

I did not stop until I brought her to orgasm. I gave her a moment and lay next to her letting my hand explore. When she was ready she pulled me on top and I buried myself into her warmth.

Slowly I move my hips back and forth. Tabitha moved in time with me grinding her hips against mine. She picked up the pace and I followed along. A few seconds later and I was slamming myself into her over and over. Tabitha cried out with each thrust. I felt her tighten around my shaft and lost it.

Tabitha reached her second climax at the same moment. She wrapped her arms and legs around me as my hips continued to thrust. I emptied myself into her then fell limp.

“Thank you,” she whispered in my ear.

I laughed. “No, thank you, Tabitha. That was amazing.”

She giggled. “You are most welcome, Terry. Would it be okay to do this again?”

“I really hope this isn’t the last time, Tabitha,” I said.

“Why do you call me Tabitha when Miranda calls me Taby?” She asked.

“I think your name is beautiful and it’s criminal to shorten it. And I like the way it feels when it rolls off my tongue. Tabitha.”

“I’ve been meaning to ask you,” I rolled off of her and onto my back with my arm pressed against her's. “Where exactly are we? This looks like the testing grounds, but I don’t remember there being a bed or a teapot.”

“Oh, this is part of the structure. Years ago members of the clan used to live and train here. Their sole mission was to guard the Wolf Pack Metal. They were the strongest of us,” Tabitha said.

  “So what happened?”

“The clan ran into financial hardship. The warriors were pulled to assist with funds acquisition.”

“What did they do? I mean it sounds like they had a limited skill set,” I said.

“Oh, they were hired out as mercenaries and hitmen. Serpents excel at work like that,” she said.

“Makes sense. So what about now? This place I mean.”

“Right. Miranda and I agree that this should be our base of operations.”

“I think it's perfect,” Miranda said as she crawled onto the bed next to me. My wolf nuzzled up to my side. “It's quiet, out if the way, and unknown. It also has the added benefit of multiple exits. Perfect.”

“I'm good with that,” I said.

Still tired from my ordeal and sex with Tabitha, I let my eyes close.

  Chapter 16

I woke up sandwiched between Miranda and Tabitha with Bale standing over us. The three of us were naked and uncovered leaving me feeling exposed.

“Is there a reason you’re hovering over us?” I whispered.

“I believe this is a good time to begin,” Bale whispered back.

“You couldn’t wait till I woke up?”

“Do you wish to train or not?” His voice was thick with disdain

“Okay, I get it. You're doing me a solid. I’ll train now. Let me get dressed and… Oh damn. Do I have clothes?”

Bale the shadow tilted his head and appeared to move his hand to his chin. It was difficult to tell if that was the case as he was nothing more than a silhouette. “I can not say that I have seen anything in the way of luggage. You might want to ask one of the ladies.”

“Yeah, OK. I think I’ll have to postpone training until I can get some appropriate gear,” I said.

“If that is the case I will need you to acquire some training aids,” Bale said. “Can I count on you to do some shopping for me?”

“Sure thing. I imagine shopping trips and dry cleaner runs are out of the question for you. Before we leave make sure one of us gets a list of what you need,” I said.

“I will be sure to get one of your women to write a list.”

I frowned. “These two are pack.” Those words felt strange coming from me but they we right. “I don't know how I feel about anyone else calling them my women. It feels sexist and wrong.”

“I see why you feel that way, but make no mistake, they are yours just as much as you are theirs. I mean no offense when saying your women. I hope you do not take it so going forward.”

“Oh,” I said. “I suppose I see your point. I guess I think of them as my women so I shouldn’t get upset. It’s just that when you say it I feel the need to protect them, even from the words you use. Oh well. Be sure to get one of us to make that list for you, Bale.”

  “I will,” Bale replied.

“Hey, Miranda,” I said as I gently shook my wolf awake.

  “Yes, Love,” she mumbled.

“We need to get up. I have some things I need to do today.”

“Okay, I’m up.” She rolled out of the bed and up to her feet. I gawked as she did an overhead stretch noting all the interesting things it did to her lean body. “You want some coffee?” She asked.

“Yes please.” I smiled at her and she returned it before leaving the room, still naked.

I turned to Tabitha and found her awake. She smiled at me and my heart skipped a beat. “I’m up too,” she said.

“Yeah, I see that. I have a question for you.”

“I hope I have a satisfactory answer,” Tabitha replied.

“What do you know about this guy?” I pointed at Bale.

“I don’t know anything about him, or much at all about the test. My knowledge ended with starting the test and where to watch from. I’m sorry I couldn’t provide a better answer, Terry.” She placed her hand on my chest and a look of agony crossed her features. “I did really want to be useful.”

“Its okay, Tabitha. I don’t blame you for not knowing. I asked hoping you might know but not expecting you too considering what you told me about this place.” I leaned over and kissed her. “Thank you. Let's go get some coffee.”

Tabitha led me to a large kitchen with stainless steel surfaces and appliances. It looked to be designed to feed an army. Miranda was leaning her perfect ass against a counter and tapping her nails on the steel.

“Hey,” she said as she flashed us a smile. “Just waiting on the pot now. What took you two so long? Did you get a quicky in without me?” She made a pouty face.

I laughed. “Hell no. You know,” I slid up to her and put an arm around my wolf, “if you would have told me a week ago that I would be standing in a kitchen in an underground complex with two smoking hot and naked women, I would have called nine one one to get you psychiatric help.”

Both women laughed and Tabitha’s cheeks took on a red hue. “I was asking Tabitha a question about this place.” I went on to tell both of them about the doppelganger, which they had watched through hidden cameras. Then I explained about wanting to know more about Bale. They both jumped when he appeared. To me he was a black silhouette with blue swirls. To my women he was a black cloud and mostly transparent.

“So Tabitha doesn’t know much about it and neither does cloud boy?” Miranda asked.

  “That is correct,” I said.

“I’m sorry I don’t know more,” Tabitha said.

“It’s not your fault, dear.” Miranda pulled Tabitha in for a hug. “We don’t blame you or think ill of you. We’ll figure this out just like everything else.”

“That’s right,” I said. “We’ll do this together. Just like we’re going to figure out this mess with Arnold. To that end, we need to get dressed and do some shopping. I need clean clothes and I assume we all do. How do we stand on food?”

Miranda passed us cups of coffee and we discussed logistics for a few minutes before making a plan of where to go to get what. Once we were set on a plan we all showered in a large communal shower room and dressed.

Miranda and I followed Tabitha to a large door that looked like the inside of a bank vault. She punched a code into a keypad. A series of clicks and clanks followed before the door swung outward on it’s own power.

“This is a different door than the one we entered, where does it let out?” Miranda asked.

I was also curious. “And how many entrances are there?” I added.

“Three,” Tabitha said. “The one in the cemetery you already know. There is one North of the cemetery and one to the east. Both come out in the basement of houses owned by my clan. Well, by us now I guess.” I felt the pain of loss from my serpent so I pulled her close to my side.

“Does anyone live in the house, and which one are we going through?” I asked. Tabitha led us through the door. She closed it behind us.

“Oh, we are going to the north house on Bleeker street. No one lives there now, it's abandoned,” she explained. “We get squatters from time to time but the,” she made air quotes, “dragon, scares them away.”

“Good one,” Miranda said. “You ever get to play the part of the dragon, Tabby?”

As we talked Tabitha led us through a hallway for a good distance. Being underground and in the dark made it hard to tell for sure. The hall led to a T intersection. On the right we saw stairs, but the left traveled farther into darkness.

As I looked down the left passage the world started to tilt. Darkness crept forward as if to reach us. I felt a deep hunger coming from that direction and a fear that said I was prey and the predator was on me.

  “You okay, Terry?” Miranda asked.

The words of my wolf snapped me out of my fugue. The hallway was back to normal and the feeling of being hunted was gone.

“What is back that way?” I asked as I pointed to the left.

“Storage I think. I haven’t been back there before,” Tabitha said. “Why?”

I looked at my women and saw the concern they both wore on their faces. “Nothing,” I said as I smiled at the beauties. “Just curious is all. Someone mentioned something about using this place as our base of operations?” I asked.

Tabitha’s face lit up. “Oh yeah,” she was bouncing as she spoke which elicited a laugh from me. “Miranda said it would be okay with you if we stayed here. There is plenty of room and we have enough beds for like thirty people. Ooh! Plus there are security cameras everywhere and three totally awesome secret entrances while one doesn’t have a vault door it is basically one big booby trap, ask Miranda. And…”

“Ok,” I laughed as I cut in. “I think that’s a great idea, Tabitha. Thank you, you honor me with this.”

Tabitha turned beet red, but her smile was amazing. “You’re welcome. I just want to be helpful.”

“I just want you to be yourself, but I am more than happy to take any help you want to give. Especially if it means seeing you get that excited. You’re so cute when you ramble it’s hard to not wrap you up in a hug and spin around laughing while holding you in my arms.”

Tabitha looked away but I still caught a glimpse of her smiling wider and her eyes sparkling.

“Do I need to pull a werewolf mobile out of my ass to get in on some of the hug and spin action?” Miranda asked.

I laughed. “No. You can get in on that whenever you want.”

Miranda smiled and patted my cheek. Tabitha turned and started up the stairs with Miranda in tow. I took a step and froze.

“Wait,” I said. “You have a werewolf mobile?”

“Keep dreaming,” Miranda called down. “And keep moving. We have a lot to do today.”

“Right.” I ran to catch up to my women.

While I was still disappointed there was no werewolf mobile I was glad to see a Lincoln Navigator in the garage of the run down house. The 'rundown’ part of it being camouflage. As we walked through I saw that the house was in good shape save for a few broken windows. It was just dirty and smelled a little like feet and ass. The door to the garage was locked and a lot thicker than it looked. The big garage door that would allow us to drive out was also not the standard cheap sheet metal seen in most houses. Which explained the heavy duty engine for the opener that looked like it belonged on a motorcycle.

“It came from a Harley,” Tabitha said.

“Huh?” I looked from the passenger window to my serpent in the driver’s seat.

She pointed up. “The garage door opener motor came out of a Harley. Something about needing the extra horses to lift the steel door.”

“That makes sense,” I said. “Is it loud like a Harley?”

“Oh no, check it out.” Tabitha hit the button to open the garage and the door slid up with almost no sound. There was a slight thrumming that vibrated the air. “Since we don’t have to worry about being heard by other vehicles on the road there is no need for the engine to be loud like if it were still n a motorcycle.”

Tabitha pulled out of the garage closing it behind us. She drove to our first destination, a clothing store.

Once again I was in a place where if you told I would be there a week ago I would have gotten you committed. First thing we did was pick out and buy a wardrobe for me. Miranda and Tabitha helped by giving me advice and putting back everything I picked out. That was fine, I wasn’t know for my fashion sense. I ended up with a good amount of really nice clothes which Miranda paid for. Turns out she is rich.

After she paid is when things became interesting. For more than two hours I sat by the dressing rooms and watched as my women took turns modeling various outfits. Both had picked out some really revealing lingerie, which they modeled for me.

After modeling a nice pants suit Miranda came up to me. “Take my hand,” she said. I did. She pulled me into the dressing room and closed the curtain.

“Wait, what are you doing?” I asked.

“It wouldn’t be fair to tease you with all the skimpy outfits we showed you and not give you a little something,” she said.

I learned two things. One, sex in a public place is awesome. The second was just how much clothing you can keep on and still get it on. We kinda had to buy that outfit due to mysterious stains.

Soon after the fun in the dressing room we took everything my women picked out to the counter and Miranda paid.

We stepped outside and right into the line of fire of more than a hundred cops.

“Miranda Cosgrove, we’ve been looking for you. Drop the bags and put your hands in the air, all of you!”

  Chapter 17

“I said, drop the bags and put your hands in the air!” The male voice on the megaphone shouted.

I dropped my bags and my women followed my lead. My hands curled into fists and I stepped forward. A growl vibrated in my throat.

“No!” Miranda shouted. She stepped in front of me and put her hands on my chest. “It will be okay. Do as they say for now and we will figure a way out of the situation later.”

  “They dare?” I snapped.

“They don’t know any better, Terry. Please get control and do as they say. We could all get hurt if you don’t.”

I scanned the line of police men and women using their vehicles for cover. Each had a weapon pointed at us and more than one shook from fear. I could smell it thick in the air.

I looked down and saw fear on the face of my wolf. At some point Tabitha joined her in keeping me from rushing forward. Both wore faces of concern and I had to wonder h
ow I let that happen.

“What the fuck is wrong with me?” I whispered.

Miranda caressed my cheek. “Nothing is wrong with you. It’s natural for an Alpha to be protective of their pack, but now is not the time or place.”

“You’re right. We’ll deal with this later. Thank you, both of you,” I said.

“Last warning!” The cop shouted. “Step away from each other and put your fucking hands up!” The sound of someone talking low came through the megaphone but the words were not clear enough to make out. “What? I’ll say whatever I goddamn… Shit!”

The cops remained quiet as my women stepped to my right and complied. I also raised my hands over my head. Nothing happened for a long minute while we stood there and the cops gawked at us.

“All of you slowly drop to your knees, cross your ankles, and put your hands behind your heads.”

Once more we complied. I waited to make sure nothing happened as my women did what we were told then I too went to my knees. For their part the group of twenty cops that rushed us were pros. They set us down on our bellies without slamming us, something I was concerned would set me off, then cuffed us and helped us to our feet. One cop each walked Miranda and Tabitha to the vehicles, while two walked me with one gripping each of my arms.

“You must work out,” a hispanic female with a thick accent said as she walked next to us.

“Stow it, Rodriguez!” The guy to my right snapped. “Not the time for picking up some strange.”

The female cop, Rodriguez, chuffed. Something about her drew my attention, but I couldn’t figure out what.

“She is a Lycan,” Miranda thought to me. “I am not sure what kind, but she’s not a wolf. She feels the call of you, but doesn’t understand. She might be a species that remains alone. We should figure out what?”

“Why? Do we need more pack members? And can I even make some one pack that doesn’t run in groups?” I asked.

“You can make them all pack,” Miranda thought. “I think.”

We stopped our inner conversation when we reached the line of cars. Rodriguez walked out in front and looked at me as she sped up. I got my first good look at the woman’s face. She had hard dark eyes and dark brown hair which framed a strong yet attractive face. Not as beautiful as Tabitha, but way out of my league before I met Miranda. She stopped at a car and opened the back door then turned to face me making it clear whom she wanted inside.
