Epilogue

“Oh, my god, mom! I look so bloated in this dress!” I cry out as the material stretches tight across my stomach.
“No, you don’t! You look beautiful, baby. And you should be proud, it’s your wedding day!”
“Mom,” I say, pointing to my baby bump. “I so should’ve had the seamstress let the dress out another couple of inches but I didn’t think I’d get this big this fast. I look hideous!”
“Shut up,” Rachel says, mocking me. “Look at me. I’m a successful nurse with a rich husband. I’m getting married AND having a baby. Whaaaa, whaaaa, whaaaa!”
Rolling my eyes, I tell her, “Put a cork in it or the next time you come in to the hospital, I’ll make sure you get our worst phlebotomist so you leave looking like a pin cushion with bruised arms.” I know she’s only teasing me, though.
We’ve gotten a lot closer since dad went to jail. She was angry with me at first when I testified against him but I think she realized it was for the better. After we helped her and mom get into a nice house with new furniture, she slowly started to warm up to me again.
I’m actually really proud of her. She decided to take culinary classes and open her own bakery. I laughed at her reasoning when she told me she was doing it so she could feed other people their feelings. I told her she was sadistic and that one day, the Fat Fairy was going to hit her skinny ass up and she won’t like it.
But, she’s skinny as a rail, just like she always has been. And here I am, looking like a solid white version of the Goodyear Blimp.
And even though my dress is tight, I still feel beautiful. Olly spared no expense to make sure I had everything I wanted to make our day special.
After the ceremony and reception with all of our friends and family, a limo picks us up and takes us back to where it all started. He reserved the exact same suite and tonight is much different from our first night together.
“Thank you for not booking us a vacation far away,” I say as we make our way to our room. “As great as it sounds to get away, I don’t want to travel too far in case anything happens.”
“Anything for you,” he says, sweeping me off my feet as he carries me across the threshold.
A yelp escapes my throat. “Don’t drop me!”
“I’ve got you,” he says. “I’d never let you go.”
When we enter the room and he flips on the light, I’m surprised to see a tray of my favorite desserts sitting near the mini bar.
“When did you do this?!”
“I have connections,” he winks. “I know you can’t drink because of the baby, so I thought I’d feed you desserts in bed while I rub your feet—after I make love to my wife.”
I remember when he used to call me that at first, but now I love the sound of him calling me that. Funny how things can change over time.
“Olly, you’re the best,” I say as I lie back on the bed, stretching my arms out for him to join me.
“No, you are,” he says, covering my mouth with his as he slowly removes my dress, stripping down to only my stockings and garter.
Slowly devouring me with every kiss, he worships my body from head to toe, massaging me, kissing me, licking, and biting me. Before we’re halfway through foreplay, I can’t take it anymore.
“I want you,” I say.
“Yeah? Tell me how much.”
“I want my husband to take me. Now!”
Mindful of my belly, he turns me over on all fours, pushing my legs apart with his knees as he growls. “Who’s pussy is this?” He asks.
“Yours, husband.”
“That’s right, don’t ever forget that,” he says, slapping me on the ass as he buries his cock deep inside my soaked wetness.
I swear, it feels like every time is our first time and I can never get enough of him. The sound of his balls smacking off me echo in the room and I want him deeper. Grinding my hips back against his, I arch my back to take him all the way.
“Fuck,” he says as I wiggle my ass on his cock. “Don’t do that. You’re going to make me come,” he warns.
“Good,” I say, grinning over my shoulder.
“I can’t believe she’s starting her first day of kindergarten,” Olly says, admiring Maggie as she eagerly waits for the bus to pick her up.
We offered to drive her to her first day of school but she refused. She said, “I’m a big girl now, mom. I can ride the bus like the other kids.”
“I know! It feels like we just brought her home from the hospital, doesn’t it?”
“Like yesterday,” he says as the bus pulls up.
“Have a good day, sweetheart!” I call out to her as she begins to step on the bus.
“You too, mom. Love you guys,” she waves as she climbs the bus stairs.
The bus door closes and my heart sinks as I watch it wisp my baby away to her first day of school. I told myself I wouldn’t cry but I can’t help it. She’s growing up so fast!
Turning to Olly, I say, “Should we follow her to school in the car?”
“I’ve got the keys!” He says.
“I knew you would,” I say, locking arms with him as we make our way back to the garage.
