  * — Must have permission from the Government Officials as well as the President, and must show that you are responsible enough to have these pets.

  FUNERALS:

Family members and close friends (excluding children) can be invited, should you, or the persons’ funeral you are attending want that. Plans will be made at age twenty-seven. I must wear black to this occasion. I must not speak of the burial after the ceremony is over.

  JOBS:

These are the jobs open (with certain restrictions to some) to citizens of the Dome: The President, Government Officials, the Safety, Doctors, Hunters, Cookers, Mechaneers, Computes, Shifters, Gardeners, and Analyzers.

•THE PRESIDENT: The President looks over Dome and treats its citizens fairly and orderly. He/she carries out laws and assists the Government Officials by helping make laws for the Dome to make it a better place. Citizens cannot train for this job. Instead, they are appointed by the current Government Officials, the Safety (rarely from the Analyzers) and by the retiring President. Note, that anyone can be chosen to be the president from any job. The president spends ten years in office. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICULTY: N/A

•GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS: Government Officials shall look over the President with what he/she is doing in office. They must make sure his/her judgments are caring and just toward the people of the Domes. Government Officials have the power to throw the President out of office, should he abuse his power. Always wear white. May acquire some alterations to help get the job done. Not allowed to question anything. The training for this job is one of the hardest to train for. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICULTY: 9

•THE SAFETY: Safeties go house-to-house to check on the safety of Dome's citizens. They report to the President, and carry out his wishes when accepted by a Government Official, unless overwritten by the Presidential Law listed at the end of this document. Safeties cannot question anything, and must stay up-to-date with things going on in their Dome. The training for this job is one of the hardest to train for. At this level of training, he/she may also qualify to be a doctor. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICULTY: 8

•DOCTORS: Doctors take care of the wounded, the weak, and the sick. They also give out the sickness medications and give the brain enhancer shots to the citizens of the Dome. The training for this job is harder than most. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICULTY: 7

•HUNTERS: Hunters hunt for food for the citizens of the Domes in the Hunting Domes. They must work closely with animals and weapons. These citizens work closely with Cookers. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICULTY: 6

•COOKERS: Cookers work with food, and closely with the Hunters and Gardeners, who produce and bring food and ingredients to them. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICUTLY: 5

•MECHANEERS: Mechaneers work with all electrical and mechanical equipment inside and around the Dome they live in. They must know the in’s and out’s of technology and be able to get up early. They work closely with the Computes. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICULTY: 7

•COMPUTES: Computes work with technology and the Dome wall simulations. They watch the cameras that are placed around the Domes to make sure everything is running smoothly and no one is doing something they are not supposed to do. There is one Compute that runs the Video panel in each Dome. Some may become Government Officials. TRAINING LEVEL: 5-6

•SHIFTERS: Shifters transport citizens between Domes, create clothing, transport items from Dome to Dome, build or repair houses, and/or do makeup and hair for ceremonies. They have to work closely with all of the other jobs, considering they do anything and everything they are called to do. None of the tasks they have to do are hard, but some of them are challenging. They mentor each other and work very closely with each other as well. TRAINING LEVEL DIFFICULTY: 1-4

•GARDENERS: Gardeners take care of the trees and the plants inside their Dome. They plant crops and sometimes help the Shifters dig up materials for every day needs that lie beneath the ground. They also work closely with the Cookers. TRAINING LEVEL: 3

•ANALYZERS: Analyzers take statistics and predict outcomes with what is presented. They have to be good at reading people, great with math, and loyal to the Domes. They must not question anything. An Analyzer can also become a Government Official. TRAINING LEVEL: 9-10

  STRIKING SYSTEM AND PUNISHMENT:

The Dome’s punishment is based on a three-point striking system. I understand that getting three strikes for anything over the three striking periods, the punishment will be assigned and carried out by the Government.

From the day of birth to age five is one striking era. From age six to thirteen is another striking era. Fourteen to twenty is yet another one, and the strikes I acquired from my birth to the age of five will be automatically added to that era. Ages twenty to thirty are the last striking era.

Each striking era begins with a clean slate, and the only strikes carried over are from my birth to the age of five. I will do my best not to have any strikes written against me.

I AGREE TO THESE EXTREME CONDITIONS. THESE RULES ARE FOR MY OWN SAFETY. I WILL OBEY AND FOLLOW EVERY RULE. IF I DO NOT, MY HAPPINESS AND SAFETY WILL BE GONE. FOREVER.

  About the Author

  K. Weikel, for the most part, sits in her room, either reading, writing, editing, or playing the Sims 3. She has a passion for what she does, even though what she wants to do is all over the charts. She released her first book, The Vampire’s Carnival (2014), and everything changed for her. No, she didn’t become world famous, but her small world just got a little bigger.

She has her own albums for sale on iTunes as well, and she’s been making music ever since she could talk, and writing them ever since she learned how to play pretend. The same goes with writing. She’s always had a passion for it, and she loves it. She used to write little plays and put them on for her family with her cousins, and she also has made a few scripts and turned them into movies all on her own.

She creates all her covers, using either her own images or public domain pictures.

  K. Weikel would like to thank you for reading, and she looks forward to hearing what you think about her books. She hopes you buy more of them, and she would like to tell you that all of them have a different writing style, each fitting with the kind of story that is being told.
