Redemption (Shattered Souls MC Book 2) Page 13

by Heather Dahlgren

  “Oh God,” she yells.

I fuck her hard and fast, watching my cock as it comes out each time even more wet. It intensifies my need to fuck her harder. She is moaning, fisting the blanket in her hands. “Rub your clit,” I demand.

She obeys me immediately, rubbing feverishly. I smack her ass and she screams out. Over and over I slap it, until it’s nice and pink. I suck on my finger, getting it wet, and push it against her ass. When I slam into her pussy with my dick, I push my finger into her ass.

  “Fuck,” she hisses.

I push another finger in and fuck her ass as hard and fast as I fuck her pussy. I want her to feel me everywhere, and I need her to look at me. I use my other hand to grab her hair and pull it so she looks back at me. The heat I see in her eyes, I’m sure duplicates what she’s seeing in mine. “You feel so fucking good, Harper. Your greedy pussy squeezing my cock and your tight ass taking my fingers,” I groan fighting off my orgasm. “It’s fucking heaven having you like this.”

“Fuck, I’m so close,” she moans out, closing her eyes.

“Open your eyes, look at me,” I say, pulling her hair harder. “Keep rubbing your clit. I want to feel you come all over my dick.”

We’re both moaning, being brought closer to our orgasms. I feel her tightening on me and I know she’s about to explode. My fingers and dick are in sync, slamming into her. She’s going to feel me inside her, long after I’m gone. Which is exactly what I want.

“Oh Zane,” she screams, as her orgasm rips through her.

I don’t stop or slow down. I keep fucking her, chasing after my own orgasm. It doesn’t take long though, and I’m groaning her name as my orgasm plows into me. It’s a wave putting out the fire that was burning inside me.

I collapse beside her and pull her against me. We hold onto each other as we try to catch our breaths. “Fuck, babe,” I breathe out.

“Holy hell, I know,” she mumbles, sleep heavy in her words.

I pull the comforter up around us and we both pass out.

I don’t wake Harper up when I get a text that we are needed at the table. I kiss her cheek and lightly close the door behind me. While I’m walking out, I light a cigarette, meeting Kace in the hallway.

“Hey, how’d it go last night?” I ask.

“We all got drunk and I had to put Ivy to bed because she was falling off the chair,” he says, running his hand through his hair.

  “Shit.”

  “I know,” he mumbles.

I take a drag of my smoke and look at him. “You ever gonna admit you have feelings for her?”

“Let’s focus on this shit and not my personal life,” he says, walking away from me.

Fucking idiot, but I don’t say anything else. We walk into the room and sit at the table. As soon as we do, Brooks and Enzo come in.

“We need to head out soon. Most of that trailer park is still sleeping and that’s how we want it,” Brooks says.

Riley and Kace look at me and I nod. “I have more information.”

Brooks looks at me, uncertainty clouding his eyes. “What information?”

I tell them everything that Harper told me. From the memories to the note in her vent. “So now, we need to figure out where the property could be. It’s on a lake, so we can start to narrow it down.”

“I think I know someone who can help,” Riley says.

I rub my chin, a little pissed he didn’t mention anything last night. “Who?”

He grins and rubs the back of his neck, peeking up at us. “This chick I’ve been seeing.”

“She give secrets out when you fuck her?” Alex jokes.

We all laugh, but Riley looks briefly at the table and runs his hand over his mouth. “No asshole. She’s like a computer expert and knows how to get information.”

“I think it’s a little risky giving your fuck buddy any club business,” Brooks states.

For the first time in a long time, I agree with him. We don’t even know her, how the fuck are we supposed to trust her.

“She’s not a fuck buddy,” he hisses.

My eyes widen as I look around the table. Damn, Riley’s got feelings for her. He’s never been with a girl for more than a few days. He’s never even mentioned her to anyone. Which makes me even more curious.

  “Who is it?” I ask.

He glances at Kace, before avoiding eye contact completely with us all. “Gillian Holt,” he quietly says.

We all turn to Kace as he stands up, fury in his eyes. “Are you fucking kidding me?”

“Relax, Kace. It’s Rachel’s sister, not Rachel,” Alex says.

Kace turns his angry eyes to Alex. “Gillian is as untrustworthy as her bitch of a sister.”

“Fucking hell, Kace, stop,” Brooks yells. “Deal with your girl problems later. We aren’t using anyone away from this table for help.” He turns to Alex. “You need to get into records and see what you can find. If you can disable an alarm system, you can find this shit out.”

Alex agrees, but I’m not really paying attention. I’m focused on Kace who is still standing, staring at Riley. I get he’s pissed, Rachel fucked him over good, but I think it’s misplaced anger. I mean Gillian never gave anyone any trouble. She only came around a handful of times. I didn’t get the impression she liked being here. I guess I was wrong. I glance over at Riley and briefly wonder how long he’s been seeing her. He’s gotta be like ten years older than her. Bringing my attention back to Kace, I reach up and grab his arm.

“Sit down,” I hiss. He finally does and I lean over so only he can hear me. “We’ll talk about this shit later. You’re reversing the rolls here. You’re the angry one and I’m talking you down,” I laugh, and he shakes his head, but I see a small grin.

“Let’s go find Dom. If we get him, maybe we won’t need to worry about finding a lake house,” Enzo says.

“Do we really think Dom is going to tell us anything? I mean, I don’t think he’s going to say anything at all. He’s the VP, he’s not going to sell out Kingsley or any of their secrets,” Porter says.

“He probably won’t, but Kingsley will know we grabbed him. That’s enough to get him moving and that’s what we want,” Brooks says.

  “Exactly,” I add.

“Let’s go check this trailer park out,” Enzo says.

We all stand, and I grab Kace’s arm, holding him back. “We need your head in this. If you are going to be thinking about Rachel and Gillian, tell me now. I can’t handle sitting at another hospital bedside.”

My eyes are bouncing between his and he finally sighs. “I’m good, Z. I’m not happy, but I can push that shit aside to do what needs to be done.”

I run my hand through my hair. He better fucking be right.

  Zane

We get outside and I light a cigarette. “Hey, Z,” Enzo says.

I turn around and lift my chin. “What’s up?”

“Listen, I know Kace has a lot going on right now.”

I cut him off saying, “I already talked to him. His head is in this.”

He slaps my back and starts to turn away, but I call his name. “I wanted to talk to you and Brooks about something, but with that bomb dropping, I didn’t get a chance. Can I get a minute when we get back?”

He steps closer, wrapping his arm around my neck. “Everything alright?”

“Yeah, it’s about Harper,” I say.

He looks at me and grins. “When we get back.”

I smile and toss my smoke. “Thanks.”

I think he already knows what I’m going to ask, but that makes it easier. Maybe they’ve already discussed it. Although, Brooks doing something that would make me happy doesn’t seem realistic. Not unless he has an ulterior motive.

Right as I step up to my bike, my cell phone rings. “Hey, Ma. Everything alright?”

“Yes, I just wanted to see how you and Harper were doing,” she says.

“I can’t talk right now, but I’ll give you a call later or to
morrow. But, we’re both good, don’t worry. Love you, Ma.”

“Love you, too, my sweet boy.”

I hang up quickly and make a mental note to have dinner with her soon. It’s been a while and she’s probably lonely.

“Alright, enough fucking around, let’s go,” Brooks says.

We follow Brooks out and head toward the trailer park. Harper said she wasn’t sure which trailer it was, so it’s not going to be easy. We don’t know the trailer park, so he has an advantage on us. When we get close, Finn flies past me, nearly crashing. He races up to Brooks and gets him to pull over. We all follow and jump off our bikes.

I pull my helmet off and walk toward them. “What the fuck, Finn? You almost hit me,” I yell.

“Shit, sorry. I just needed to talk to you guys,” he rushes out.

Brooks throws his arms in the air. “Fucking hell, what could be so important?”

“We’re going to the trailer park, right?” he asks.

  “Yeah, and,” Kace says.

He crosses his arms and lifts his chin. “This is where I grew up. If you’re looking for someone, I’ll be able to help.”

Holy. Shit. Finn Ganley is going to fucking prove himself. We all look around in total shock. Maybe Harper was right, we should start talking to him.

“We’re looking for Dom, but he’ll be staying with his girlfriend, Stacey Gorden,” I tell him.

“I know exactly where she is. She’s a crazy bitch though and her brothers are usually close by. You guys should let me go in first and get her outside. She knows me and won’t question it. I’ll tell her I need help at my mom’s trailer. When I get her out of sight, you guys get in the trailer, get Dom, and get out before she realizes. If she’s there when you show up, someone is leaving with a bullet wound.” He swallows a few times, looking around at each of us, before focusing on the ground.

Well fuck. I think the prospect just found his balls. “You better take your cut off. If Dom sees it, he’ll know,” I say.

He slips it off and hands it to me. “Her trailer is the third one on the right from the entrance. You guys really need to hang back, because the sound of the bikes will have everyone wondering what is going on. I’ll leave the van running, so someone can drive it. Just don’t fucking leave me without a bike to get the hell out of there. I’ll text you when I get her down to my mom’s trailer.”

I slap his back, grinning. “Alright Finn, show us what you got.”

We slowly follow behind him. When he turns down the dirt road, we hang back, but not enough to lose sight of him. He pulls in front of a trailer, parking the van. It’s beat up and rusted in more than a few spots. The steps leading to the door are falling apart, the weeds out front are nearly touching the windows, and there are branches on the roof that must have fallen from the trees behind it. I’ll give Dom credit; I never would’ve thought to look here for him.

“As soon as Finn texts, we get in there and get Dom. He’ll be armed I’m sure, so be alert,” Brooks whispers. “Zane in first and the rest will follow.”

I nod but keep my eyes on the trailer. I’m on high alert, making sure there are no other Vegas Kings around. My gaze shifts back to the door when I see it open. Finn is talking to someone and then he jumps off the steps, standing with his hands in his pockets. Not even a second later, the door opens again and out walks a woman. She’s tall with blonde hair and has very little clothes on. She doesn’t look like someone that Dom would be interested in, but what the hell do I know?

Brooks looks down at his phone, nodding. “Let’s move, he’s in there.”

We rush over to the trailer and I grab my gun. I know without looking that Kace and Riley are right behind me. Porter is behind them, with Brooks and Enzo in the back. I don’t bother looking in the windows, I run up the broken steps, and kick the door open.

“What the fuck?” I hear from behind a curtain. Considering how small it is in here, I’m assuming that must be the separation behind all of this mess and the bedroom.

It’s just me, Kace, and Riley inside, because that’s all that will fit. Dom walks out from behind the curtain, buttoning his jeans. He’s got on a white shirt and his normally slicked back hair is sticking up all over. When he looks up, his brown eyes widen as he turns to run back where he came from. I tackle him, bringing the curtain down with us. He’s a strong guy, but he’s not muscular, like I am. He’s been taught how to fight; I always knew how. He’s putting up a good fight, but I definitely have the advantage.

“Gotcha, asshole,” I hiss, dragging him back. Riley and Kace help me get him to his feet, while I keep his arms pinned behind him. He doesn’t look like the put together guy that is always by Kingsley's side. He looks like he hasn’t been sleeping. His normally strong features are overshadowed by his tired eyes. He looks like he’s lost weight too, but it’s not stopping him.

He’s fighting furiously, until Kace’s fist connects with his jaw. “Fuck you,” Dom yells.

We laugh as we’re pulling him outside. “You’re the one who’s about to be fucked,” I growl.

Alex makes quick work of tapping his wrists and ankles. We toss him in the back of the van and Alex runs to the driver’s side. “I’ll meet you there,” he shouts.

We race to our bikes and peel out of there before anyone is the wiser. Once we are out of there, I pull over to call Finn. What he just did will not be forgotten, and I need to make sure he gets out of there.

“Get the fuck outta there,” I whisper when he answers.

“Well fuck, thanks for calling doctor. I’ll get to the hospital now,” he says, hanging up.

I’m losing my patience waiting, when I finally hear Alex’s bike. I breathe a sigh of relief, and jump back on mine. When he’s in sight, I pull out and let him follow me back to Souls.

When we get there, he climbs off the bike, walking toward me. I don’t say anything at first, just quickly hug him.

When I let him go, I grin handing him his cut. “That was fucking badass, Finn. We owe you.”

“No, you don’t. It’s all part of being a Shattered Soul,” he replies.

I nod and we walk into Souls together. I have found a new respect for Finn. He’s proved himself to me, and I didn’t think that would be possible.

“Where is he?” I ask, looking at Riley.

“They took him in the back to one of the rooms.”

I leave him and Finn to talk, while I go see what the hell is going on. Kace is in the hallway when I open the door.

“Where the fuck did you go?” he questions.

“I wanted to make sure Finn got out of there. Where are they?”

He nods his head down the hall and I walk that way. I open the door, finding Dom bound to a chair, fighting against the rope. His head turns toward the door and I slam it. “What now?”

“Just like Thomas,” Brooks says, lighting a cigarette.

I grab my Glock and point it at Dom. “We’ve got some questions for you. If you tell us the truth, you’ll live, if not I will smile while I slowly torture you until you die.”

“Fuck you!” he yells, struggling against the chair.

I shake my head, pressing the gun to his thigh. “Not a good start,” I growled. I pull the gun away and take a shot at his foot, just like Thomas. He screams in pain, making me grin. He deserves the pain after everything he’s put Harper through.

  “Where is Kingsley?” Brooks asks.

Dom doesn’t say anything, so I yank his head back by his hair. I stare into his brown eyes, hoping I will haunt him long after he’s gone. “Where’s his lake house?” I ask, through clenched teeth.

His eyes widen, just slightly, but I catch it. Any doubt I had that Kingsley was there, is now gone. That lake house needs to be found. I laugh as I knock the chair over. He’s on his back, with his legs up, since he’s still tied to the chair. I slam my boot down on his chest and he gasps.

“Why does Kingsley think we stole his drugs?” I ask.

  “Go fuck yourself,
 he says.

I click my tongue, tskings him. “Wrong answer.” I take another shot, this time it’s his knee.

The noise he makes doesn’t sound human. It’s a painful shot, but it’s not deadly and he knows it. He knows this is a long way from over and the suffering he is going to endure is going to be agony.

“Let’s try again,” I say, pressing down on his chest harder as I look down at him. “Why the fuck does Kingsley think we stole his drugs?”

“He’s a smart man,” he replies this time.

“A smart man would know the truth,” Enzo yells. “We don’t deal with drugs, don’t tolerate them. If you were missing drugs, you should’ve looked a little harder at who was to blame. Shattered Souls had nothing to do with that.”

He looks truly confused and I’m not sure if it’s the pain he’s in or if he is questioning it. He takes a deep breath, well as deep as he can with my foot pressing on him, and says, “Kingsley has someone who knows the truth. It was a confidential informant. If the information was wrong, it’s not on us.”

I laugh as I shoot him in the other foot. “Who’s the informant?”

“Fuck,” he screams. “I don’t know.”

“Give him a second,” Brooks says, clasping my shoulder.

I turn my head to look at him and narrow my eyes. He better not fucking kill him, yet. He hasn’t given us shit. The confidential informant is a bullshit lie.

  “Brooks,” Enzo warns.

He squats down and blows his smoke in Dom’s face. “My nephew here is going to kill you. You fucked up, Dom. You should’ve protected Harper, kept her safe from her father, but you didn’t. You took advantage of her. You did unimaginable things to her, all because Kingsley said you could. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you’re a decent man, because you’re not. You took advantage of a young girl and failed her when she needed someone most. That includes the night her own father shot her. Keeping your mouth shut now to protect the Vegas Kings, to protect Kingsley, just proves what a fucking coward you are.” He stands up and claps my shoulder again. “My nephew here needs to seek revenge for the woman he loves. It’s your life or Kingsley. Do the right thing for the first time in your life.”
