Obediently, she did; her behind faced him. Aiden pushed his finger into her core. She moaned as his finger moved inside her.
“Aiden, I want your cock inside me.” She was barely able to get her breath.
“What, my finger isn’t good enough?”
“Yes, I mean no…I want you to fuck me with your cock.” She pushed her bottom toward him. Her pussy readied for him. Playfully, she wiggled her bottom to entice him.
“Shame on you. I like it.” Then he was inside her, pounding hard. The sound of their flesh hitting echoed in the room. Her face was on the rug, back arched, with her bottom in the air. Aiden withdrew from her to hand her a pillow. Then he resumed his pounding.
She yelled out his name as the world shook around them. Something crashed to the floor. “Aiden, we’re taking the house down.”
“The house will hold.” He grasped her breasts as he filled her with his seed.
Her entire body shook with satisfaction. Their combined emotions sizzled inside her.
“Roll over.” He helped her onto her back. Hot sperm shot out of him all over her stomach. Aiden groaned as his body quaked with release.
Avery ran her hands over his warm sperm, smoothing it into her skin.
His chest heaving, he fell on her, delving his tongue inside her mouth. “You’re getting bold with experience.” He nipped her nipples.
Avery caressed his bicep. “Do you like me this way?”
“Very much.” He picked her up and sat on the sofa with her on his lap. Avery put her arms around his neck. He lightly patted her hip. “Now you have had your angel under the tree.”
“Well, it wasn’t really under the tree.” She giggled. “Hmm, I guess now that you’re my fiancé I can be uninhibited with you.” She ran her finger slowly up his chest. “I’m thinking it’s okay for me to be…you know.”
“For sure, I know. I like you uninhibited. And as for being under the tree...we were close enough.” He kissed her temple and stood up. “We better get ready to go to the airport to pick up your family.” Aiden carried her up the stairs to their bedroom. “I’m going to take a shower. Would you like to join me?”
“Yes.” She leaned into him. “I would love to join you. Let’s hope the flight is late.”

“Avery, let me help you lift that.” Lucy rushed over to her side. “It’s too heavy. Aiden is going to have a fit if you hurt yourself or his baby.” Lucy took the tray out her hand. “Girl, look at that tummy, you’re ready to pop. You’re all baby.”
“Aiden will be fine. It’s our baby, not only his. Anyway, he’s tamed down a bit in his protectiveness.” Avery rubbed her protruding stomach.
“If you say so.” Lucy rolled her eyes. “I think you’re just used to Aiden now.” She chuckled.
“Maybe.” She shrugged. “He grows on me every day.” Avery ran her hand over her stomach again.
“You could say that.” Lucy eyed her pregnant belly.
“You know, I love just making the wedding cakes. It’s been nice not having to get up so early. Those early mornings were difficult. I was so tired.”
“With your instructions, we can prepare the breakfast pastries just fine,” Lucy told her. “How could Grace deny you the reduced schedule when Aiden helped her get her inn running again? I’ve never known someone to be so generous with his money and time.”
“He’s an angel.” Avery laughed. “But sometimes angels can be a bit overwhelming and controlling. But I love him anyway.”
“You should, he’s wonderful. At times, I think he may well be a real angel.” Lucy leaned against the countertop. “I’d take all the overwhelming and controlling for someone like him. He’s worth it.” She giggled.
“Yes, I’m not complaining.” Avery smiled. “Lucy, you’ve been able to learn everything I’ve taught you. I’d be comfortable with Grace making you the daily pastry chef.”
“I don’t have your formal education, and I’d feel bad replacing you.”
“I’d be here to help you. I’m happy making cakes, it’s what I wanted to do. And you have natural talent. Plus, if Aiden tells her to give you the position, she will. She does worship him.” Avery hugged Lucy. “I’ll work on the wedding cake orders. I can do it at home. It was my dream to bake beautiful cakes. This way it will allow me more free time when our son is born.”
“I still can’t get over how fabulous your wedding was. Your cake was incredible.”
“Thank you. I really put my heart into it.”
“Your ceremony was the most beautiful I’ve ever attended, and to be done on such short notice was incredible. Your husband is amazing.”
“Yes, he is.”
“You were a gorgeous bride, and Aiden was such a handsome groom. I bet you can’t keep your hands off of him.”
“Lately I haven’t felt amorous with this huge stomach in the way. But Aiden’s always amorous. My size doesn’t matter to him.” Avery laughed into her hand. “He’s very virile.”
“You mean horny as hell?” Lucy bent over laughing. “When he’s around you, he can’t keep his eyes off of you. The man loves you so much. Everyone can see it, feel it even. It’s like an energy which flows off of him to you.”
“I better go out to the lobby to wait for him. The cake looks great, don’t you think?” Desperate to change the subject, Avery stood back studying their handiwork.
“Yes, not as beautiful as yours was, but the bride will love it. As always, it’s a masterpiece. You have wonderful talent. I’m happy Grace is now taking cake orders for other reception venues. It’s because your talent is so appreciated in the community.” Lucy patted Avery on the arm.
“Grace is making money on the cakes.”
“She has benefited from both you and Aiden. You both have helped her so much.”
“She’s throwing me a baby shower in two weeks.”
“I know. I’m excited about it. I’m making your cake for the shower. It won’t be as nice as your cakes, but it’ll be pretty.”
“I’m sure it will be. I hope this baby waits until after the shower to be born. But I feel like he’s coming sooner.” Avery patted her stomach.
“You do look close to delivery. You’re so round.” Lucy placed her hand on Avery’s stomach and smiled when the baby kicked, not just once but twice. “Oh, he’s active.”
“Just like his daddy, he won’t let me rest day or night.” Through the inn’s front window, Avery saw Aiden’s car pull up in front of the lobby. “Here comes Aiden now.”
“Speak of the devil.” Lucy smiled.
“No, he’s an angel, remember?” Avery grabbed her purse to meet him at the door. Lucy waved as Avery left with him.
“Hello, my beautiful wife.” Aiden pulled her close and bent down to kiss her mouth. “How is my family?” All smiles, he patted her rounded belly.
“I’m tired. He’s not.” Avery leaned into Aiden, hugging him. “I feel like I could burst.”
“Do you want me to carry you to the car?”
“No.” Avery put her arm through his then a stream of liquid flowed down her legs. She clutched her stomach. “Oh, my gosh, my water broke. Oh, Aiden, I’m having the baby now.”
“What?” Aiden stopped dead in his tracks. “Now?”
“Yes, I need you to take me to the hospital.” She bent over as a hard contraction hit her. “Right now!” Avery grabbed his arm to keep from falling down.
Aiden swept her up in his arms. “Shall we go by car or shall I just take you?”
“I think we should go by car, but hurry.”
“Whatever you say.” Aiden placed her in the car, got behind the wheel, then quickly pulled out of the lot and headed to the hospital. His tires squealed as they raced down the road. Within minutes, they arrived at the hospital.

Aiden walked out into the waiting room, a smile on his face. A crowd of people waited. Grace, Lucy, Connie, and the entire staff of the inn stood up, looking up at him with anticipation.
“What’s the news?” Grace yelped.
“There’s great news.”
In the rear of the waiting room, ten enormous men stood up too, making the room seem extremely small. “Your friends and brothers are here.” Grace nodded toward the other men. “How’s our baby and Avery?”
“Avery and our son are doing very well.” Aiden smiled. “Keenan McMichael was born a healthy eleven pounds nine ounces, and twenty-two inches long.”
“Goodness, he’s big.” Lucy fanned herself. “Poor Avery.”
“Avery was amazing. Very strong. I’m proud of her.”
“Avery sure is amazing to be able to birth a child so big, and she’s such a tiny woman.” Lucy rushed to Aiden to hug him. “I knew she was all baby.”
“Congratulations,” the crowd yelled in unison. Some rushed to hug Aiden or shake his hand. The huge men in the rear of the waiting room moved forward, making the crowd part.
Zayel stepped forward. “We would like to see our young nephew, to welcome him to this world.” Zayel hugged Aiden. “We are happy for you, brother. This is truly a momentous occasion.”
“It is indeed. And absolutely, you can see him. Everyone can see him as soon as my boy is all cleaned up and ready for visitors.”

Avery hugged Aiden when he entered their room. “Did you put Keenan in his crib?”
“Yes, he fell right to sleep.”
“It’ll be nice to get him used to sleeping in his nursery.”
“Keenan will adjust to being in his own room quickly. My son is smart and a good boy.” Aiden puffed out his chest.
“Just like his father.” Avery hugged him closer. “I can’t believe how big he is for only six weeks old. It’s amazing how fast he’s growing. He seems so much older.”
“He is growing fast for sure. He’s different from other children.”
“Yes, he is.” Avery nodded.
“How do you feel?” Aiden kissed her, then sat down on the bed, pulling her onto his lap. “I have missed our special times together.” The room was cast in shadows from the early morning sun. He motioned with his hand, and the drapes closed. “We have several hours before your baby shower. Let’s make love.” He kissed her again. “I’ve missed the feel of you.” He nipped her earlobe.
“I’ve missed this too.” She kissed his lips tenderly, rolling back on their bed.
“I don’t want to hurt you.” A pulse of energy flowed from him into her.
Avery smiled as the pleasant sensations flowed through her. “I’m perfectly healed. You’ve seen to that. We don’t need to delay anymore. In fact, we could have made love right after I came home from the hospital.”
“We still needed to do as your doctor ordered.” Aiden kissed her forehead.
“I know, you always follow the doctor’s orders, it seems.”
“Yes, but six weeks is up today, so I guess it’s okay for us to play. I can have you.” He winked.
Avery pulled her nightgown over her head. Swiftly, Aiden removed his clothing too.
She ran her hands over his arms and chest. “You’re so handsome. I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you. I’ve missed this.” He kissed her cheek and then her mouth. His cock stood up proud against his taut stomach. “All of me misses you.” He pulled her closer.
She rubbed his chest with her hands then kissed him.
“Your breasts are so gorgeous and full.” He licked her nipple. “Spread your legs, my love. Open wide for me.”
Avery complied and Aiden settled between her thighs.
He pushed inside her. “You’re so beautiful.” He worked his hips against hers.
In the other room, a loud angry wail rang out.
Aiden stopped thrusting. “He has a good set of lungs.”
“He’s mad at us for leaving him. How dare we abandon him? Hear his fury?” Avery rubbed Aiden’s back and then giggled. “You do feel nice. I’ve missed this so much.” She kissed his shoulders, then nipped him. Aiden began to move again. “Shall we ignore Keenan for a while for momma and daddy time?”
The cry in the other room grew louder.
“Yes, he’ll be fine.” Aiden kissed her neck and then behind her ear.
“I want you.” She nipped his ear, then ran her tongue over his earlobe.
“Nice.” He pulled her closer.
“He’ll quiet down.” She surrendered to him.
The wailing grew louder, more demanding.
“Indeed, I think he’s very upset.” Aiden pulled from her.
“He has a temper like his father when he doesn’t get his way.” Avery giggled.
“So not fair. I don’t cry like Keenan.” Aiden smacked her thigh. “I’ll get dressed and go see what Keenan’s fuss is all about. But we’re going to have to let him learn to wait.” In an instant, Aiden’s clothes were back on.
Avery pulled her gown over her head. The screaming intensified into a furious tantrum.
Aiden turned to leave their room. “He’s very impatient.”
To Avery’s amazement, the baby suddenly appeared in the middle of the bed. “Aiden, you won’t believe this—Keenan just appeared here, and he has wings,” she gasped.
“What?” He turned to look back at her.
“Keenan has come to us.” Avery rubbed their infant’s head. He stopped crying, staring up at his father. A smile lit the baby’s face.
“Keenan, what have you done, my son?” Aiden’s eyes were huge as he watched his son grin up at his mother.
Silky wings unfurled—a miniature set like his father’s. The wings wrapped around him as a soft cocoon with only his face showing. Dark shining eyes sparkled then flashed gold as he watched them. He giggled like a child much, much older.
“He has powers like you. Plus, his accelerated growth is...incredible. He’s grown since you placed him in his crib. We can’t take him back to the pediatrician like this. What if he grows wings right in front of the doctor?” Avery picked Keenan up, holding him in her arms.
Aiden ran his hand through Keenan’s hair. “Oh, this is going to be a challenge. I can make the doctor forget. But it can get difficult with too many people seeing Keenan.” Aiden paced the floor. “We do have a problem.”
“I thought you told me he would not be exactly like you.” Avery smoothed Keenan’s soft hair down.
“He’s not like me, at least not exactly. But he is somewhat like me, obviously.” Aiden stopped to stare at her. “He needs to sleep and eat like a mortal. He is much more vulnerable than I am. He was apt to be like me in some ways. I just didn’t know how many similarities there would be, or when we would see them. Children of angels are rare. The last ones—born ages ago—are grown or destroyed, as many were of evil seed. I’m going to contact my brothers. We will need their help with this situation.”
“This situation is not a ‘situation.’ He is our son. You’re scaring me.” Avery clutched the baby to her, a nervous tremble in her voice.
“Yes, Avery, I’m aware he’s our son. But we will need help. He is going to be a trial, especially until we can reason with him, which may be sooner than we think. I will allow no harm to come to him. I promise you, my wife.”
“How did you come to be born? Weren’t you and your brothers born?”
“No, angels are created. We are not born. We were never babies or children. One day, I simply was as I am now. I had no parent, only a creator.”
“What are we going to do?” Avery held Keenan close. She kissed his forehead and his wings vanished. He cooed at her. “What do we do if his wings appear at the baby shower or he just pops in to wherever? Or even begins to speak or display some other amazing power.”
“We’re going to seek guidance from my brothers and take one day at a time. Do not worry, all will be well.” Aiden took Keenan out of her arms. “Come here, my boy. I’ll speak to him about behaving.”
“Okay. I hope he listens.” Avery smiled wide as she put on her robe. “I’m going to h
ave some coffee while you instruct our son.”
“Perhaps we will need to tell our close friends and family. I can help them accept and understand. But we will need to learn how to tether our son from wishing himself someplace other than with us. That’s what concerns me the most.”
“Me too.” Avery’s voice squeaked. “I never imagined I’d have to worry about a baby running away.”
“We need to teach him to be benevolent with his powers too. Power such as his is hard to wield without complications. It can go to one’s head. Being half human makes it more challenging for him.”
“Are you saying humans don’t handle power well?”
“Yes.” Aiden nodded. “We don’t want Keenan to hurt someone without realizing it. He has much to learn.”
Epilogue
“Momma, let’s go get Daddy. I can take us there. He’s been gone too long.”
“He’s only been gone for a few hours, Keenan. Remember patience.” Avery smiled at her son.
“I miss him. I want to play with him now.” Keenan skipped over to Avery and pulled on her apron. His beautiful face smiled up at her. “Please, Momma.” His black hair glistened under the florescent lighting. He was tall and grew every day. Grace, Lucy, and Avery’s family had learned of their secrets and kept them well. They loved Keenan.
Keenan’s dark eyes shone with mischief. “Let’s go play with Daddy. I want to now.”
“No, Keenan.” Avery put her hand out to stop him. “You know better than to start whining.”
“Yes, Momma.”
“We can wait for Daddy. He’ll be home soon.” She patted his head. “Daddy is talking with your Uncles Zayel and Qasim. You must not only learn but practice patience, Keenan. I know it’s hard when you’re only three, but still you must wait.”
“But I finished my calculus problems already. I also wrote the essay on the ancient Egyptians. Now I want to play.”
“Why don’t you help me with this wedding cake? I must finish it. It needs to be ready for delivery.”
“Okay, I’ll help you. It’s heavy for you.” He moved one of the large trays for her with no effort at all. It was obvious Keenan wasn’t simply a human. His strength was unrivaled by grown men and increased daily. “How are my brothers doing? Are they moving a lot?” He pointed to his mother’s swollen belly.
