“You don’t have to do this, Armitage...” General Deschner said as he stepped closer to him.
“You’re right, I don’t have to, but this vicious cycle won’t stop until someone does.” Lieutenant General Armitage shook his head, “I’m sorry, General, I’m not like you.” General Deschner jumped towards Lieutenant General Armitage as he pulled the trigger, General Deschner vanished. Lieutenant General Armitage exhaled and closed his eyes and lowered his hands as he slid the gun away from his sight.
“I can’t believe that happened.” He moved his hands to cover his face and closed his eyes as tears rolled down his cheeks. “Everyone is gone.”

Nicholas Bogucki was born in Cleveland, Ohio which he still calls home to this day. Nicholas earned a BA in English at ETBU. (Go Tigers!) These days, he and his wife, Elise, live in Beaumont, Texas with their two cats, Mumbles and Cheddar. He hopes one day to own a beagle.
