Not wasting a moment, I pulled off the jacket and unzipped Malcolm’s trousers. I said, “I just want this night to be about you and me, no one else. So please, Malcolm, kiss me and don’t stop till I beg you to. Kiss me till I lose my sanity and forget where I am and all I’ve been through. Thrust into me so hard we’ll both be out of breath but won’t stop making love.”
At that moment, I had a lot running through my mind. I was now down on the bed and all I wanted was for him to be inside me.
We kissed intensely, our tongues sliding into each other. He sat me on his lap, his hand on my back as he unhooked my bra, exposing my breasts. He put my nipple in his mouth, making me moan. I moved my hand around his torso but still couldn’t get enough of him. He raised me up, and I wrapped my legs around his hips and my hands moved around his neck. He smelled so nice and he kissed me harder, thinking of how much he loved and wanted to be with me every day of his life. He sucked my nipples again, making me moan loudly, granting me satisfaction and making us both feel good. He kissed my neckline slowly, going down to my chest, causing me to moan again. He removed my panties and entered me slowly, making me cry out for more as he thrust in and out. I moaned loudly until tears streamed down my face. He kissed my neckline again and kissed my ears, kissed me from my forehead to my chest. We made love for what felt like hours, and when we finally had enough of each other, I lay in his arms, my eyes wide open, thinking about what had just happened and how I’d enjoyed every bit of it. Malcolm, being a vampire, made love with me with so much force and intensity, but I enjoyed it and wanted to do it again and again.
The weather returned to normal. The snow drifted softly past the motel window.
Malcolm didn’t die. I felt a twinge of hope in me, and my heart had so much joy in it that I couldn’t help but smile. It stopped storming, saving the town from a flood.
Malcolm told of how he was going to protect me no matter what and help mend my broken heart. He promised to make me happy till he took his dying breath. Our babies would be Dhampires, and he promised to love them like he loved me, now and forevermore.
I knew that I had found my place, and I started recreating my dreams and regretted wasting my life with Brian. I wondered whether people had to go through bad stuff before finally getting the good things, but then it occurred to me that it only made us value those good things because we then recognized their worth. I knew there was still hope for me. Our love was able to break the witch’s spell. I felt so joyful and couldn’t picture a time in my life that I had ever been as happy as I was then.
I thought of the number of children we would have. I had always wanted a girl and a boy, and I even knew the names I wanted to give them, Sephine and Jasmine. Sephine for a boy and Jasmine for a girl. I thought of them going skiing in the Crown and visiting the Blackwater Mountain and Clear Spring Mountain. I thought of all the beautiful memories we would create together, all the pictures we would take. I thought of getting proper training on how to use my powers from Hannah and maybe doing wonderful things with my powers in Diablo Falls.
I decided to stick around, get proper training for my formidable powers, and explore my new and unexpectedly supportive and healing relationship with a supposedly deadly creature of the night.
