Surrender to the Alphas (Waxing Crescent Book 5) Page 7

by Jasmine Mills

“Other than trying to bite my dick off,” Oakley said. “Causing physical injury falls under the major punishments column.”

I had to chuckle. They’d always be able to shift and heal, so even physical injuries weren’t that serious. “Okay, fair enough. What about this one? I’m not allowed to orgasm unless I’m either with you or specifically ordered by you?”

“That’s right,” Richmond said. “We can’t have you wasting your sexual energy when we’re not around. You have four men to satisfy.”

I bit my lip. When he put it that way, it sounded like a huge responsibility.

As my cheeks went hot, I looked down at the page again. The major punishments section had some greater offenses, like not letting the alphas know where I was, or talking to my exes.

“What’s the difference between a major and a minor punishment, anyway?” I asked.

“You’ll have to find out for yourself,” Jacob said.

I read through the agreement one more time, trying to decide if I was truly ready to sign it. This was going to be a huge step out of my comfort zone, and what if I changed my mind? Would they still hold me to it?

  “You’re hesitating,” Richmond said. “Why?”

I pressed my lips together. “You know I’m pretty innocent. This is like throwing me in the deep end. I’m just a little nervous.”

“That’s why we’re making the agreement,” he said gently. “So you know exactly what to expect and you won’t be surprised.”

“Is there anything in there that you want to change?” Trey asked. “Anything you’re not comfortable with?”

I shook my head. It all made sense. “Do I have an exit clause?”

The atmosphere in the room shifted. The alphas seemed almost disappointed. I looked from one to the next, wondering if I’d really offended them.

“It’s only fair that you’d want to know that,” Jacob said. “The truth is, you don’t need one. You’re free to leave anytime you want. Ever since we freed you, this has been a consensual arrangement, and it’s going to remain that way.”

  I nodded.

“Although if you want to write that specifically into the contract, we can do that, too,” Trey said.

“Sure.” I pushed the papers back toward him. “And…”

I hesitated, unsure if I should say what was on my mind. This whole list of rules seemed rather one-sided. And yet how could I, the submissive, ask the alphas for anything? Wouldn’t that defeat the whole point? I was giving them the power to do whatever they wanted to me. How could I ask them for anything in return – even faithfulness or other basic courtesies?

“We’ll have responsibilities to you, too,” Richmond said as if he’d read my mind. “We haven’t written them out, but we can, if that would make you more comfortable.”

“Or why don’t you write them out, and we’ll talk through how we feel about them?” Trey suggested.

My heart lifted, and I nodded again. These alphas did care. They were good to me. I could already tell that whatever happened between us would be good for all of us.

Over the next few days, I wrote up some rules I thought were fair, and they agreed to them. I did my best to follow their rules as I came over to Richmond’s place every day. A couple of times, they caught me acting bratty, and in return they gave me punishments. They were sexy ones, of course – being whipped or paddled, having to strip or dance for the alphas, getting forced to orgasm…

That seemed to be the difference between the major and the minor punishments. The minor ones, I actually enjoyed. The major ones would have less pleasant consequences. And the “absolute deal-breakers” – well, I wasn’t going to take my chances.

One Friday night, I told the alphas that I would be reporting on the Shifter Games tomorrow in Waxing Crescent, the neighbouring town.

“Those are always fun,” Jacob said, running a hand through his already-mussed hair. “I haven’t been in years. I used to go as a kid. I was a good rock climber in my goat form.”

“Maybe I should take the day off work and go with you,” Trey said. “I haven’t been in so long, either – and I’m sure it would be much more fun with your company.”

“Maybe we should all take the day off and go,” Oakley said.

“Are you going to be working all day?” Richmond asked.

“No, I’m only supposed to report on the morning’s events. I’ll have to get the articles written by Sunday. I was going to write them in the afternoon, but if you guys want to go, I can do that in the evening.”

“Sounds like a date, then,” Jacob said.

I felt warm inside. We had never been out in public together, and it was going to be different. Even though we would only be around shifters, who were very accepting of multiple-partner relationships, it would still be news for everyone to see them with me. People in our small town were gossipy, and as far as I knew, no one had any clue that I was involved with one alpha, never mind four.

“We’re ready to go public with this… whatever this is?” I asked.

  “This relationship,” Richmond said. “Yes.”

  ✽ ✽ ✽

The 2019 Waxing Crescent Shifter Games were taking place at a stadium outside of town. First thing in the morning, there was already excitement in the air. The area was crowded with people preparing for the games to begin.

I wasn’t too into sports myself, but I still looked forward to this every year. It was fun to see the different things the people around me could do, the talents they didn’t often get to show. Some people trained all year for a few minutes of glory – and then might or might not even get it.

The games were already underway when I made it to my seat in the nosebleed section. I watched as closely as I could, taking notes on everything that happened. The first few events were the less interesting ones. The organizers seemed to save the good stuff for the afternoon, when more people would come.

I finished scribbling and headed over to meet the alphas in the VIP section. As I hugged one after another, I could feel the other people around us going quiet. People had noticed who they were, and that they had one girl with them. They may not have known what I was yet, but they certainly wanted to find out.

I pressed a kiss to Oakley’s cheek, then followed him to our seats. The alphas had much better ones than the paper had been able to provide for me, and I was looking forward to the more comfortable chairs and the better view. I sat in the middle of our row, two of them on each side of me.

“The relay race is next,” I told them, ignoring the stares from people around us. “That one is my favourite.”

“Yes, I love the teamwork it involves.” Trey gave me a wink.

I shivered, wondering if he was alluding to the teamwork the four of them had used to bring me to multiple orgasms last night.

In the relay race, cross-species teams joined forces to bring a ball from one end of the stadium to the other. First there was a running shifter, like a big cat or a wolf. Next there was a flying one, usually a bird, and then another runner.

We sat in the stands and waited for the race to begin. With all the things to set up, it was taking a while.

A salesperson came around, hawking hot dogs and fries. Jacob waved him down and ordered food for each of them. “Do you want anything, Cassidy?” he asked.

“No, I’m fine.” I was too excited to be hungry.

“Are you sure? Not even some fries?”

  “No, that’s fine.”

They each got their meals, and I sat back in my chair. The race began, and we watched the shifters go. A cheetah shifter was the first runner to reach the end of the line, and he passed his ball to an eagle. By the time they got to the final portion, another team had caught up. A wolf was the first to cross the finish line, clenching the ball between his sharp teeth.

All of the teams had done so well! The winners stood on the podium, glowing with happiness, while the runners-up were awarded silver and bronze.

  As the crowd cheered
, I glanced at the alphas’ food. It did look appealing. I had to admit I was a tiny bit hungry. Leaning over Trey’s shoulder, I snuck a hand into his lap and grabbed a couple of fries.

He turned to me, his eyes darkening as I slid the fries into my mouth. “That’s one strike.”

  I chewed and swallowed. “What?”

“You said you didn’t want anything to eat, and then you took my food. That’s being a brat.”

I shifted in my seat, feeling a current of desire run through me. If I was doing something wrong, that meant I’d get punished.

“Okay,” I promised. “I won’t do it again.”

Sex hadn’t been on my mind, but now it was. Being this close to the alphas had my blood running hot. I could feel their pheromones working on me, and for the first time, I couldn’t do anything about it. Normally I would’ve jumped one of them the moment the mood caught me. Being in public, I couldn’t.

The next event was the high jump. This one was for any kind of shifter. It took a combination of skill and timing. The contestants had to race toward a horizontal bar in human form, and they could only start to shift once both feet left the ground. They had to shift quickly while still jumping. If they fell in mid-shift, they’d be disqualified.

Flying animals would’ve had an unfair advantage, but the rules made sure that wasn’t the case. If you had any kind of wings, you weren’t allowed to flap them. The jump had to finish without any extra help from your animal.

I sat straight in my seat, watching as the first few contestants took their turns. There was a bear, who did pathetically – although that was to be expected with his size. Then a couple of deer and goats did pretty decently.

“See the guy in the black outfit?” Jacob asked, nudging him. “That’s Sven Howland. He won last year by a nose. They say he’s been practicing nonstop all year. Some people think he might even set a world record.”

“Oh, amazing,” I said, eyeing the man’s evident muscles. “And he has a really great body, too.”

The alphas tensed. “That’s strike two,” Oakley murmured.

I re-crossed my legs, oddly satisfied with myself. I just had so much fun being a brat

The next few jumpers went, and then it was Sven’s turn. I waited until he was right at the start line. The alphas were on the edges of their seats, vibrating with tension.

“I wonder if it’s going to rain tonight,” I said loudly.

All four alphas turned to stare at me, and I kept my eyes on Sven as he jumped, gracefully transforming into a hummingbird in midair.

When he pulled off a perfect landing, already back in human form, the alphas looked back at him and groaned. “Are you serious? We missed it?” Oakley said. “That wasn’t just bratty, that was pure evil.”

“That might have been the most riveting moment of the games, and you ruined it for fun.” Jacob sounded pissed.

I giggled evilly. “I couldn’t help it. It was just too tempting. You guys should’ve seen the looks on your faces.”

“And you should see the look on yours when you get your punishment,” Richmond said. “That was your third strike.”

“I’m going to see how many more I can rack up before we get back.” I giggled.

“Oh, no.” Trey’s usual tortoise-like calm was shattered. “We’re going to punish you right now.”

I raised my eyebrows at him. How were they going to manage that? We were in the middle of a packed stadium, and there was no way we could do anything sexual without all these people noticing. Or was my punishment not going to be sexual? That wouldn’t be any fun.

“All right,” I said carefully. “What’s my punishment?”

“How would you feel about us getting you off, right here, right now?” Richmond asked.

I blinked. “Not very good. I’m pretty sure everyone would notice.”

“That’s true,” Jacob said. “You’re going to have to be discreet.”

I frowned at him, not understanding what he meant.

Richmond bent forward toward me. “We’ve been waiting for the right moment to bring this out,” he said, pulling a small, pink, egg-shaped object from his pocket. “This is a vibrating egg. You’re going to go to the bathroom and put it in your pussy, and then you’ll come back here and act like everything is fine.”

My eyes went wide. He couldn’t make me do that… and if I really objected, maybe he wouldn’t try. But as I pictured trying to fight back an orgasm while hiding my horniness from everyone around me, I actually got turned on.

“You’re horrible. I hate you,” I said. “I’ll be right back.”

In the bathroom, I slid the egg inside. I walked back carefully, scared the thing would fall out and land on the floor in front of the entire town. It felt so strange just to have it inside me, and it wasn’t even vibrating yet.

I sat down, giving them a baleful look. “Do what you have to do,” I muttered.

“Oh, we plan to.” Richmond pulled a tiny remote out of his pocket – I guessed it went along with the egg. As he pressed a button, I felt a buzzing begin inside my walls. It was gentle, just barely noticeable – although if it went on like this long enough, I was sure it’d make me come.

Richmond squeezed my knee, watching me carefully. “I like that look on your face, omega,” he said. “The one that says you know you’re about to go out of control.”

“Pass me the remote,” Jacob said, reaching over. He ratcheted the vibrations up by several speeds, and I gasped audibly. People around us turned their heads.

“Too much, too fast,” Trey murmured, grabbing the remote away from him. He powered it lower again, and I bit my lip as I tried not to make a sound. The egg was vibrating me from the inside out, making my core buzz with electricity.

We must have looked suspicious – but I didn’t care what other people thought. The only thing that mattered was the unrelenting humming inside my pussy.

I grabbed onto the armrests, my knuckles going white. The tension was building, and if the alphas turned the vibrations up again, it was going to reach a boiling point.

“I think she’s close,” Oakley murmured. “Should we bring her there, or make her settle down?”

“Bring her down,” Richmond said. “She’s going to come so much harder if we make her work for it.”

I crossed my legs again, then again. It did nothing. There was no way that shifting around or moving would take away from this unstoppable teasing.

Even as the vibrations lowered, my pleasure didn’t. I fidgeted, wrapping my arms around myself and then twisting my body from side to side. My teeth came down so hard on my lower lip that for a moment I wondered if I’d drawn blood. I bounced up and down in my seat as if I could knock the egg out of me – not that I really wanted to

The urge to come got stronger and stronger. Fuck… we were in the VIP section, surrounded by all the alphas from both nearby towns. Every notable figure in the greater community was about to see and hear me get off.

I wasn’t going to be able to control myself much longer. Grabbing onto the armrests, I took shallow, gasping breaths. I stared straight forward, my eyes wide and unmoving. I felt an alpha’s arm go around me, a hand slipping discreetly below my bra and onto my breast.

“Now,” one of them rumbled into my ear. “Come for us, Cassidy. Now.”

My body shook. I wasn’t sure if they were somehow shielding me from the other people around, and at the moment I didn’t care. I needed this release more than I’d needed anything in my life. My pussy pulsed around the vibrator, and I let my body seize out before suddenly going limp.

The egg’s speed decreased until it went back to nothing.

And as I struggled to open my eyes, a flash bulb went off in my face.

  ELEVEN

As soon as I realized what was happening, I raced after the photographer. She was already several feet ahead of me, carrying her camera in front of her like a stolen treasure.

I caught up with her at the bottom of the stands. Grabbi
ng her by the shoulder, I waited for her to spin around. I knew her vaguely – she worked at the Waxing Crescent paper. Surely she wouldn’t publish the picture once she knew it featured her own colleague.

“Please delete that picture,” I said, nearly begging. “Anything else, fine, but not that.”

She heaved a sigh. “Seriously, Cassidy? That was the most amazing shot I’ve ever taken. It’s much more interesting than anything else that’s going to happen at these games.”

“Come on, that’s not true. Nobody knows or cares who I am. Besides, reporting on another reporter would be a conflict of interest. And no one at our paper is going to write an article about me.” They might try, but I wouldn’t let them.

She rolled her eyes. “Fine. But I’m going to run a different picture of you, okay?”

She showed me one where I was just sitting, watching the proceedings. Two alphas were on each of my sides, framing me as they gazed at me adoringly.

A soft smile came over my face. Those alphas really did like me, even if I didn’t quite understand why.

“All right,” I said. “I can deal with that. But I’m writing the article myself. The paper isn’t going to spread rumours around me while I’m working there.”

She shrugged. “Talk it over with Warden.”

I headed back to my seat, becoming more conscious with every step that the egg was still inside me. Changing my mind before sitting down, I hurried back down to the bathroom to take it out.

So this relationship was going to be plastered all over the paper. That was a little intense. We’d only just started seeing each other, and we were still learning and getting used to each other.

Oddly enough, I wasn’t too upset. I felt like this relationship was going to be a lasting one. Something about the alphas just fit with me, and I was sure this would have come out eventually. It was just happening quicker than I would’ve expected.

I reached the alphas and gave them a tense smile. “Everything’s okay,” I said. “She’s not going to print that picture. I told her she can print a more PG one, though.”

The alphas frowned, looking at each other. “I wish you would’ve asked us first,” Richmond said.
