King of The Hood 3 Page 21

I wasn’t surprised at learning Neesha didn’t want Ocean dead. Despite the evil, devious, bullshit Ocean did, Neesha wanted her to suffer. She explained that death wouldn’t give her that. So, Banks arranged for her ass to be placed in a facility for the young and disturbed. Where she spends twenty to twenty-three hours, locked in her room, with the voices of the ones she has done wrong, playing over, and over, telling her what she did. They’re not the actual voices of the victim, but a man who recorded everything she did.

Neesha described his voice as frightening, and what nightmares are made of. So far, since she’s been there, she has tried to escape twice. She called Neesha, pleading, begging, crying to come home. When Neesha didn’t give in, she flipped. She started throwing out threats and speaking on how she’s not sorry for anything she’s done. She’s attempted suicide twice. She’ll never succeed though. I’ve been told due to the cameras that are in her room and bathroom are monitored.

Banks is actually paying people just to monitor the cameras and keep her ass alive. I don’t know what the end game is supposed to be. Whatever it is, I know it’s something cataclysmic, but well deserved.

  “Uhh,” Femi grunted.

“You had enough, big man? Come on, burp,” I cooed, lifting him to my shoulder.

He’s so freaking heavy. He’s really a good baby. He hardly ever cries. He sleeps through the night, unless he’s wet, which he can’t stand to be. He has a serious mean streak that I do know. He doesn’t like to be rocked or held too long. He just started crawling at seven months and pulling up. Stone wants to throw him this huge first birthday party. I didn’t even argue the reasonings for why that is unnecessary and a waste of money. I knew it would’ve fell on deaf ears.

“Stallion, did you know these bums ‘posed to come over today?” Stone called, from his office.

  “Yes,” I answered, honestly.

Crazy ass already barred them from coming everyday, to twice a week.

“Bring y’all aggy asses in here. The hell y’all want?”

Stone bellowed, as he opened the door.

  “Brrrrr.”

“Whew, big man, I know that felt good,” I cooed, giggling some.

He gave me a big smile as I watched him. Placing him on my lap, he started tugging on my bra strap, reminding me to fix it. Doing that just in time.

“Awww, looka my nephew, him so handsome,” Neesha cooed, walking into the room.

Femi only had on an onesies, pamper, and footies. He doesn’t like a lot of clothes.

“I done told yo ass bout that sweet talking shit. That’s ah thug right there,” Banks fussed, which Neesha ignored.

“Hey, booga man. You just ate, huh? I know you did. You either eating, sleeping, or chilling,” she cooed, as she lifted him.

He loves Neesha, Kimmy, Racks, Lil’ D, Seaqual, and Gramps. He fights with Banks for some reason.

“Y’all so rude. How y’all gonna come in and don’t speak to me?” I snapped.

  They all turned, eyeing me.

“Heyyyyy, Preshus,” they said, in unison.

Flicking them off, they laughed. I eyed Kimmy.

“How you feeling, Kimmy?” I questioned.

“Better, morning sickness has passed. How you doing?” She answered, with a small smile.

She’s four months, a complete ‘oops’ on both of their parts. The condom ripped, along with her birth control failing. She was upset at first. Not because she was pregnant, but she couldn’t understand why now, and why with Racks. I explained to her she has grown up and fell in love. God knew what he was doing. I was beyond impressed at what she revealed to me during one of our heart to hearts.

“Neesha, when yo stingy ass giving me my princess?” Banks called out.

“When my last name is Townsland,” she answered, without looking at him.

  He smacked his teeth.

“Preshus’ last name ain’t Brickwood. Kimmy’s last name ain’t Thomas. Yo ass just making up excuses,” he fussed.

She moved Femi to the side to eye him.

“I ain’t making shit. That’s what the fuck I deserve, plus, yah argument ain’t solid,” she argued.

“The hell if it ain’t,” he snapped.

“No, the fuck it isn’t. Stallion will be a Brickwood in two muthafuckin’ weeks, nigga,” Stone barked.

  “Small technicality,” Banks hissed.

“Kimmy is due to be my bride in two months,” Racks added.

Kimmy and I raised our left ring fingers, while smiling big. Stone asked me to marry his ass three days after my neck operation. Racks asked Kimmy before she found out she was even pregnant. He told her she’s who he wants, ain’t no changing that shit.

“Bump all y’all. I got you, Neesha,” he paused.

We looked at him, he walked around in a circle, before stopping before her. He dramatically dropped to his knee, causing Femi to slap him, and Neesha’s eyes to widen.

“Lil’ nigga, yo ass ain’t gonna stop ‘til I give you this work. Violent ass, Stone, Stallion, y’all cursed this damn boy,” he fussed, mugging Femi.

  “Uhhh, Uhhh,” Femi grunted.

“Stop, man, man,” Neesha cooed, causing him to smile.

“Aquaneesha Miller, I would give you this long drawn out speech, but yo ass know that ain’t me, and it wouldn’t be sincere. I love you. I love the way you love me and Lil’ D. I didn’t even have to ask you to accept him, you did it without complaint. You are genuine, loyal, trustworthy, intelligent, sexy, and yo p, loving, is the shit. You have made me the man that I’m proud of. Will you do me the greatest honor and rock my ring, and my last name, for all of eternity?” He proposed.

“Yes, Monti, yes, baby,” she whispered, as tears fell from her eyes.

Smiling big, he reached into his pocket, pulling out a ring box. Flipping the top open, a beautiful ring glistened as the light hit it. He removed it, sliding it on her finger. He leaned forward, kissing her. They got so into it they forgot we were even here.

  “AAAAAAA!!!”

Femi yelled, hitting Banks again. They broke apart, Banks eyed Femi.

“Hating ass, lil nigga,” he spat.

“Uhh, uhh, uhh, Aaaaaa,” Femi fussed.

“Man, congratulations, y’all! That’s what’s up,” Racks congratulated.

“Awww, that was so sweet. Congratulations, y’all! I’m so happy!” I yelled out.

Neesha placed Femi on the floor. He took off soon as he hit the floor in the direction of his daddy.

“Congratulations, y’all! Banks, I didn’t know you had it in you,” Kimmy praised.

“Thanks, y’all,” Banks and Neesha said, in unison.

Banks climbed off the floor, then sat beside Neesha. He wrapped his arm round her shoulder, pulling her to him. They are really a cute couple.

“Whaddup, big man. They fuckin’ wit yo nerves. I got they ass,” Stone stated, lifting him up.

Femi loves being high in the air too.

  “Where’s Seaqual, Neesha?” I questioned.

“At an engineering convention with Timothy. They should be back tonight. Hopefully, the robot he built will win again,” she answered, with a little smile.

Banks kissed her cheek, then whispered something in her ear that was making her squirm. I don’t even want to know what the hell he’s saying to her ass. She’s suffering with separation anxiety. I knew it would be hard for her when she first told me about Timothy. She’s been raising Seaqual from birth, so he’s her son, and it’s hard to turn off that need to have him around her. So, now giving up the time she’s used to having with him, is hard. While I was still in the hospital, Timothy came to visit me. He actually thanked me for being there for Neesha and Seaqual. The resemblance between Seaqual and him is crazy.

“Are you okay, Neesha?” I questioned, still staring at her.

  She nodded, then sighed.

“Yeah, I just be missing him. I’m still getting used to him having his father in his life,” she answered.

“Understandable, it’ll get easier. Where’s Lil’ D?” I assured her.

“He’s with them. You know to him Seaqual is his brother. Did you speak to Auntie today? How’s she doing?” She asked, causing me to groan, Stone to smack his teeth, and Racks and Banks to chuckle.

Stone moved across the room to me, making me slide over, so he could sit beside me. I don’t know where he brought this damn chair from, but I love it.

  “Uhh, uhh, uhh,” Femi grunted.

“What? Lil’ nigga, yo ass is heavy,” Stone fussed.

  “Uhhhh, uhhh,” Femi fussed back.

“Don’t talk back. Yo lil’ ass gonna get jacked up,” Stone fussed, causing Femi to mug him.

“Give me my nephew,” Racks spoke, getting up from his seat to get him.

Femi went to him quickly. Racks stood with him talking to him softly. Whatever he was saying, it made Femi laugh.

“Mama is doing good. A whole lot better,” I answered.

  She shook her head.

“She said she still can’t believe how Wilbur carried on over Andre’s revelation to me after he recuperated,” I started.

“Punk, summabitch, I should’ve kilt his ass. I told yo ass ain’t no muthafucka going that damn hard over they damn stepsister. That bitch wanted yo ass from jump street,” Stone interrupted.

  Rolling my eyes.

“Stone, do you have to go back through that shit? I’ve heard that so much, I can recite it. I cussed his monkey ass out. I couldn’t do what the hell I really wanted to do, because of my situation,” I snapped.

“Calm yo ass down. I know that shit. I wish you could have fucked his ass up, I would’ve paid to see that shit. That bastard telling yo ass you got what you deserved, along wit calling you out yo name, was some bitch nigga shit. That’s why his ass running now. Weak muthafucka tried getting me arrested,” he fussed.

Taking my hand, I rubbed his back to try and calm his ass down. Andre’s ass left the damn country before Stone was released from jail. He actually called the police and pressed charges, which didn’t stick, due to Gregory doing what he does best. Wilbur attempted to go in on Mama about the situation. Blaming her for taking Stone’s side, and then going in on her with how she raised me, and my businesses that put me at death’s door.

She packed all his shit and put his ass out. He lost his ever loving mind when he raised his hand to hit her. He actually slapped my mama. She sliced his ass. He loved saying I was too violent to be a woman, forgetting I got it from my mama. Shit, she owns two guns her damn self. She was ready to fight his ass to the death that damn night. He left in an ambulance. She had all his stuff put in the dumpster. She declined to file charges on him. Stone told her not too, she wouldn’t have to worry about Wilbur again. And so far, she hasn’t. I didn’t ask what he did, I don’t give a damn what he did.

“She’s doing a whole lot better. She said she wants a little friend, no relationship, just someone to spend time with, and go out with. What she just went through took too much outta her. That’s years of her life she won’t get back. I’m trying to hook her up, like how Mama Daffany got with Smooth. Hell, even Gramps got his flirting ass a woman,” I stated.

  SWOOSH!

I ducked the pillow Banks’ spoiled ass threw at me, causing everyone to holler.

“Yo messy ass makes me sick,” he spat.

Shrugging my shoulders, I let my head fall back. My energy was dwindling. This was the only thing about my recovery I hate.

“Rest, Stallion, I’m here, I got you, forever and always,” Stone’s gritty voice whispered in my ear.

I’ve been hearing that statement every night before I even woke up, until now. I seem to sleep better hearing it, it soothes my soul. Through all this, I finally got my King of the Hood, by becoming the Queen to his heart.

  The End……….
