That night I drank damn near a whole fifth of Crown Apple by my got damn self and faced like two blunts from what I remember, it could have been more. So what ever happened don’t even fucking count.
“Ewwww you fucked her, didn’t you?” Zemia joked.
“I can’t stand yo’ ass, let’s go man.”
“Not until you tell me the truth Mr. I don’t lie,” The smirk on her face was sexy but I wanted to wipe it off.
“I don’t know, I may have shit I get drunk and pass out and bitches take advantage of me.” I shrugged. “Hell, if you ask me I didn’t give consent so it was rape.” I smirked and she busted out laughing.
“Man I can’t with you Omari Barnes.”
“You better learn too.”
I got up so that we could leave, I wasn’t exactly ready to take her home but I knew I had shit to do early in the morning. I had a new venture that I wanted to present to my brothers and Uncle Ray and I needed to make sure my shit was straight. I needed to be focus and I couldn’t do that with Zemia’s fine ass right in front of me. I was damn sure gonna see her again though.
Chapter Fourteen
Yameka
Jaako’s little bitch was acting up tonight, she better be glad my degree saved her ass because she almost got fucked up because of her mouth. I knew that Jaako was seeing somebody but in my heart of hearts I didn’t care. I wanted him but I knew that he was bad for me.
I knew all about the Barnes brothers and the fact that I have been defending their uncle and now them since I got out of law school, allowed me full access to their lives even when I didn’t want it.
All four of the brothers were fine as hell but something about Jaako stuck out to me. Maybe it was his hopeless romantic attitude, even if it was just an act I loved it. I damn sure didn’t know why he was with a woman like Krista though, that bitch was aggy and I just met her today. She better enjoy Mr. Jaako while she could because I was slowly letting my guard down.
From the moment I met him I knew that he was bad news, but he was the best bad news I had ever come across. I knew that me getting involved with a criminal wasn’t a good thing, me being a lawyer and all but I couldn’t help it. Just one look into his dreamy eyes erased all the doubt that I could ever have. My only issue right now was that I wanted to make sure that he wasn’t about to dog me out like he was doing that Krista bitch. Before I took it there with him I wanted to make sure that he had all of that shit out of his system.
I wasn’t that female that would allow him to do what he wanted. If he tried that shit with me I would be gone in a hot second. My phone rung jarring me from my thoughts, and what do you know it was the devil himself.
“Yes Jaako.” I said trying to be hard but was smiling ear to ear; he was the only person that could make me feel that way.
“Open the door.” I looked at the door as if I would see him standing there.
“You outside?”
“Nah, I just told you to open the door.” He chuckled.
“Don’t be a smart ass.”
I got up and opened my door and there he stood in all his greatness. The gray sweatpants he had on hung slightly off his waist, showing his monster print and the black tank that hugged his chest had me ready to pounce on him. When he hit me with that million dollar smile I couldn’t stop my nipples from getting hard as bricks, which he noticed right away. He reached out and pinched my right nipple, “Somebody is happy to see me.” He whispered in my ear and my clit jumped.
“Back up homie I don’t know where your mouth been.” I stepped back to regain some of my personal space and he laughed.
“I know where it ain’t been but I know where it’s about to go.” Fuck I just released a river, I would sure need to go and change my shorts, and they were soaked.
“You need to stop; I’m going to freshen up.” I said and tried to take off to the back but he grabbed my arm and pulled me to him right before his hand found the inside of my thigh and made it up to my sacred place and he felt how wet I was.
“No need to change these.” He licked his lips. “I’m just gonna fuck them up again.” His sexy ass smirked as he moved his dreads from his shoulder to his back with his free hand.
“I hate you.”
“This pussy says otherwise.”
I tried to move from the hold that he had on my cat but he moved with me so that his hand wouldn’t move. I cocked my head to the side, but that didn’t move him one way or another. I just bit my lip as his thumb found its way into my shorts.
“Um,” I moaned unintentionally.
“You are so fucking wet.” He said as he released me and yanked my shorts down.
I was too weak from just the touch of his thumb to protest so I just went with it. It wasn’t like I really had a choice; Jaako had a way with my body that I didn’t understand. No man had ever had control over my body like he did and that was dangerous. If I ever opened myself up enough to give him what he wanted, which was my heart, I’d be in a whole heap of shit if he ever broke it and that was my hesitation in the matter.
Once he had my shorts down, he pushed me against the wall by the door and put his knee in between my legs to spread them. His eyes never left mine and that was turning me on even more. He squatted down and placed my right leg on his shoulder and then licked from my slit to my clit and that shit felt good.
“Damn you always taste good.”
He put his hand under my ass and threw my left leg on his other shoulder, when I was leveled he grabbed my ass and stood up.
“Jaako baby if you drop me I’m gonna shoot you.” I said panting because he was attacking my clit as soon as he had me against the wall and my pussy dead in his face.
“Shut the fuck up and enjoy this fucking ride.”
I looked down at him and he was looking dead at me with his tongue out and going to work. I bit my bottom lip and rested my head against the wall and enjoyed the powerful tongue lashing I was getting.
All you could hear throughout the whole room was smacking and slurping. I was about to cum off the sounds he was making alone. I swear this man was gifted. I loved that he liked to take his time with me and wasn’t in to all that hardcore shit. I don’t like to be slapped and all that, with my attitude I was liable to hit yo ass back in the heat of the moment.
“Fuck Jaako.” I moaned on the brink of releasing buckets into his mouth.
“Feed daddy.”
“Oh shit.”
“Umhmmm.” He said with a mouth full of pussy.
“Yesss yesssss right there. Oh God yess.” I grabbed the back of his head and held in place until I released everything that I had built up from the moment he walked through the door. My legs were shaking and my chest was heaving up and down.
I could still feel him blowing and licking on my cat well after I came but I didn’t have the energy to push him away.
“Give me one more.”
“I can’t.” I panted.
“I think you can.” He sucked down on my pussy; I was still sensitive so it didn’t take long for him to take me there again. After that second orgasm I was through. I hoped like hell that he didn’t expect me to return the favor because I couldn’t, at least right now.
Jaako knew exactly what he did to me so he held on tight and carried me to my bedroom. He laid me softly on the bed and just stared at me.
“When are you gonna stop playing games with me?”
“When you get yourself together Jaako, I’m not about to be doing this back and forth with you and your girlfriend. If and when we get together, I want her out of your system completely. It’s not gonna be some you jump right out of her bed to come live in mine. No I don’t play that; you need to get her completely out of your life before you take it there with me.”
“Me and Krista has been over for quite some time now.” He tried to reason with me but I wasn’t having that shit.
“But you still laying up with her and living with her. I’m not dealing with that Jaako.” I tried to sit up but h
ad to give myself a second because I was still weak. “You have the power to hurt me like no man has ever hurt me and until I am one hundred percent sure that you won’t, I gotta protect me.” I tried to read his eyes but I couldn’t they were blank. I had a feeling that things were about to go left.
“I think I love you too.” Was all he said before he laid down beside me on the bed and turned me where we could spoon.
The sounds of our breathing filled the room; his hands did most of the talking as he explored my body with them.
“I’ve always been so scared of being alone.” Jaako said breaking the silence.
I knew what happened to his parents and I understand what was going through his mind but being with someone was not fair to him or her. He needed to get over that and get comfortable with himself if he plans on having a future with me. I wanted to tell him that but I needed to find a good way to say it and not be a bitch about it. But before I could say anything he finished.
“I know that’s not an excuse and I know that to be with the woman who’s in here.” I could hear him tapping his chest. “I gotta come to grips with that shit and do what I need to do. I just ask that you be patient with me.”
“As long as when you said patient you mean that you are getting your ducks in a row and you’re not still trying to play house with the both of us. I need to know you’re serious and until then things will remain how they are.” I warned and he knew that I meant that I would continue to date, something that he hated. “I’m not built to be a side chick, I know what we’re doing isn’t right and I never meant to fall for you, but I did and there is nothing I can do about that now. Just know that if I find out you playing me, I’m out.”
He didn’t say anything else he just lifted my leg and slid into me from behind. I guess that was his way for telling me that he understood. I let a moan escape my lips and enjoyed the rest of the night with the man that lived in my heart but didn’t yet have the key.
Chapter Fifteen
Uncle Ray
I had been in the game since I was a little nigga, I was getting tired of the shit and I was ready to turn this shit over to my nephews. They were really doing the damn thing in the streets but they still had some work to do. I was not about to hand them over “the world” just for them to fuck it up.
I wanted them to work for this shit and show me what they were made of. Like today, Omari hit me up about a new business venture that he heard about that was sure to make us a lot of money. I also needed to tell them that we hit a snag and they was gone have to step up a little more.
I was okay with Jaako, Kayson and Omari; it was Denari that I was worried about. He wasn’t even able to handle running a fucking trap house. I was trying to find something that was impossible for him to fuck up but I didn’t feel like babying his ass.
“Raymond.” I heard my sister Ann call out.
“I’m down here in the basement.”
I waited until I heard her coming down the stairs. My sister was heaven sent. She was the only woman that I know that would take in four bad ass boys and raise them as her own. I loved her for it, one of the boys was closer to me than anyone knew but that was something that I would be taking to the grave. The only person that knew was Ann and I’m sure that she was coming to talk to me about it right now. Ever since she saw that DNA test that I had done years ago, she’s been on my ass about telling him.
“What’s up sis?” I asked when she reached the bottom of the stairs.
“You already know why I’m here.” I sighed deeply. “That boy needs to know that he has family out here.”
“He already knows he has family, we’re his family whether he knows it’s by blood or not. I don’t understand why this has to be an issue. Just leave well enough alone.”
“You’re just afraid of what he will think of you.”
I didn’t say anything because she was right. I was worried about what he would think. I mean if I had a father out there that knew about me and didn’t say anything I would take that personally. He looked up to me right now and I needed it to stay like that because when the respect is gone, so is everything else.
“You know how it is in this game, right now I need him to be focused and not at odds with me. When everything is set into play and they are going good, then I’ll tell him aight?”
“Raymond don’t give me that slick shit, save that for them hoes out there.” She pointed to the window. “You will not have me lying to my boys.”
“I know but we gotta keep things how they are until we get shit right in these streets.”
“Y’all shouldn’t be in these streets, hell I raised all y’all different.”
“How you raised me and we only ten years apart.” I asked laughing.
“Because our mama wasn’t shit and I had to do what I had to do for you that’s why, so shut up.”
My sister was turning 50 this year but she didn’t look a day over 30, she made sure to take care of herself. She always said that she didn’t want her boys to have to bury her. She worked out and ate right, and she worked at the children’s hospital at CMC hospital.
“You better be watching my boys out in these streets.” She warned me.
She already knew that I was, I couldn’t let anything happen to them or she would surely take my life. Ann never wanted any of us in the streets but I had to do what I had to do. School wasn’t for a nigga like me, I was street through and through. I tried the college thing, I went to North Carolina Central and played basketball but the streets had a hold on me. I got up there and got to hanging around these crazy ass white boys who introduced me to selling that “white girl” aka cocaine. Once that money started coming in, I was over school and ended up going home and hooking up with my partner and the rest is history.
In my defense, I did try and keep the boys in school and on the straight and narrow. I made sure that they had everything they wanted even after they got out of high school. I encouraged them to get out and open some businesses that I would invest in and get them started. Kayson tried it with a car wash and it did well, but like me he was a street nigga, through and through.
Even though we tried to keep them away they still gravitated toward it. Omari and Denari hooked up with some gang and started doing dumb shit that got them both locked up until their 18th birthdays. My sister was devastated, Jaako was the only one who didn’t care about the streets as much as the other ones or so we thought. Jaako was arrested for distribution but got off scot free because of an illegal search and seizure. From that point on I knew that it was either put them on with me or let them kill themselves or end up six feet under.
I talked to my sister about it and it took some convincing but she finally understood where I was coming from. When I told them what was up they were happy as hell, even when I told them that they had to work their way to the top. Now here we are, I was waiting on them to come bring me a new venture that could make us all some money.
“Ann, you already know what would have happened if I wouldn’t have taken them under my wing.”
“Whatever Ray.” She waved me off.
“Get yo’ stubborn ass on up out of here.” I laughed and she flipped me off.
“I’m going to be gone late, I gotta program at church.”
“Down here doing all that cussing now you going to praise the Lord.” I shook my head and she turned around and glared at me.
“The Lawd knows he’s not done with me yet.”
She turned to leave and I just laughed. That woman was my heart, if anything ever happened to her I don’t know what I would do.
I sat back and relaxed on the couch and thought about calling one of my lady friends over but I knew I had to meet with my nephews so instead I just sat back and crossed my feet and turned on some ESPN.
About an hour later I heard the door to the basement open and voices heading down to where I was on the other side of the hospital area that I had set up.
“Unc!” Kayson said as he walked in with a smile
on his face.
“The fuck you so happy about?”
“Life man.” Was all he said and I left it at that.
“What’s up what’s up what’s up?” Said Omari followed by Jaako who was so into his phone that he didn’t even speak.
“Nigga you better say something when you walk in to folk’s house.” I told him and he looked up and walked over to dap me up.
“My bad Unc, I’m sitting here arguing with this dumb ass girl.” He rolled his eyes into his head.
We all just shook our heads because we told him about that Krista girl when he got with her. You know she wasn’t no good if Ann Barnes didn’t like her and she liked everybody. He wouldn’t listen though, he said that she had a good heart and that she wasn’t as bad as everyone thought she was. His ass was about to see now though.
“We just waiting on Denari as usual?” I asked and no one answered.
“Let me call him.” Omari said in an aggravated tone and then walked over to the other side of the basement.
“I’m sick of him, he’s always holding us up. We ain’t never gone get nowhere with dead weight.”
“That’s bruh.” Jaako said.
“Don’t remind me.” That’s the one thing I loved about Kayson, he was all about business and he thought that everyone should be like he was when it came down to it and that’s not how it is. Everyone does things differently.
“Let’s just go on without him, I’ll just have to catch him up.” Omari said and Kayson started saying shit under his breath. “Bruh just—”
“No stop making excuses for him, I’m sick of us having to pull his got damn weight.” Kayson yelled pissed off and I understood they were trying to get somewhere and Denari was holding them back.
