Kissing Killian: Face-Off Legacy #5 Page 5

by Quinn, Jillian

It’s not until I hear the rumble of an engine alongside me that I look over my shoulder shocked to see the window of a blue Mustang rolling down.

Killian looks irritated. “Get in before you get us both arrested.”

Once I’m inside, I try to catch my breath. High on adrenaline and fear, my body is still humming with energy. “Be careful. The cops are probably still around.”

“Let me handle the driving.” He flashes a smirk, his hand resting on the shifter, and then we’re moving so fast, I have to hold on to the door handle for support.

The engine growls as we fly down the street. When I peek over at the speedometer, my mouth opens in shock as I see we’re doing ninety miles per hour on a residential street. I should be scared, or at least I think I should be afraid, but I’m so turned on by the sight of Killian behind the wheel of this car.

He glances at me for a split second and licks his lips as he changes gears, eventually taking the ramp to get onto I-95.

I turn in my seat to face him. “You left without me.”

He shrugs as if he could give a shit. I’m sure he doesn’t care. Not like he wanted me here to begin with.

“I didn’t think you were going to show, and my crew couldn’t wait around on you.”

“Is this what you do on the weekends?”

Eyes on the road, he says, “Yeah, pretty much.”

  “So, you race for money?”

  He nods.

“And you have to steal cars to do it?”

  He laughs. “No.”

His answers are so short he leaves me wanting more. Killian looks incredibly sexy right now, the dim light from the streetlamps on the highway hitting his face just right.

“Then why did you steal my car?”

  No answer.

  “Did you steal this car?”

His laughter shakes through me. “No, Adrian is mine.”

  “Adrian?”

He taps the wheel with his hand. “That’s her name.”

“Why would you name your car?”

“Why would you name your kid?”

“Not the same thing,” I challenge.

“To you, maybe. But Adrian is my baby.”

  “You’re weird.”

  “You’re a stuck-up brat.”

My jaw clenches. “You don’t know a damn thing about me.”

He smirks, his eyes still fixed on the highway. “Let’s see…” he pauses then continues, “… your dad is an investment banker in New York. He runs the Westbrook Fund, one of the largest in the country. Your grandfather, Senator Thomas Caldwell, is still a congressman even though he should have retired years ago. You’ve attended private schools since you were three-years-old. Have never done anything your parents don’t approve of. And you’re blackmailing me because you’ve never done anything fun a day in your life.” This time his eyes meet mine, a delicious grin stretching across his handsome face. “How did I do, princess?”

He’s right, for the most part. Asshole.

“I see you’ve done your research on me.”

He smirks. “There’s this magical thing called Google. You type questions into the search bar, and it gives you answers. Ever hear of it?”

I roll my eyes at him. “I didn’t get to choose my family. You can’t hate me because I was born into money. It’s not mine.”

“You have a trust fund, do you not? As of this week, there’s well over twenty million dollars in it.”

Shocked he knows so much about me, I let out a sigh. “Yes, there is… but—”

How could he know the balance of someone else’s bank account? An account that’s not even mine.

“No buts. Try working for a living before you pass judgment on someone else.”

I cross my arms over my chest and stare out the window realizing this is a losing argument. No matter what I say, Killian will think of me as some spoiled rich girl. Everyone does. But my father’s money is not mine. It’s funny because my sorority sisters love me more and guys like Killian like me a whole lot less because of it.

  “Where are we going?”

Hands gripping the wheel, he rolls his shoulders. “I haven’t decided yet.”

  “Are you racing again?”

  “I’m considering it.”

“Do you think you can answer me in more than one word or a short sentence? You’re being intentionally obtuse.”

He chuckles. “Obtuse? Who talks like that? And no I’m not. I’m just not interested in talking to you.”

“We had a deal, Killian. You said you would talk to me.”

He flashes a fake, closed-mouth smile. “I’m talking, Jade. What more do you want from me?”

  “You’re so hostile.”

  “And you’re annoying.”

“Hey,” I yell, waving my hand in front of his face in anger. “I did you a favor by lying to my dad, the police, and the insurance company… and I hate lying.”

Killian snickers. “Your dad sent over a new Mercedes the same day you told him.”

“You’re missing the point, Killian. You stole my fucking car. And I let you get away with it. You owe me. You owe me big time.”

“I still don’t get what you want.”

  “You!”

A beat passes between us where nothing more than cars whooshing by us fills the awkward void. And then he does something I least expect. Killian pushes up his navy hoodie and flips open the button of his jeans. I stare in awe as he lowers his zipper, and my jaw just about unhinges as he pulls out his very hard, very big cock.

Why is he hard? And what the hell does he think he’s doing?

With his left hand on the wheel and his right hand fisting his cock, he glances over at me with an evil grin. “You want me? Prove it.”

What’s with Killian telling me to prove things to him?

First, it was the fact he stole my car. And now… this.

“No.” I want to look away but I can’t. “What the fuck is wrong with you, Killian?”

He laughs in response, still stroking his cock. “You gonna suck it or what?”

  “Wow! You’re such an asshole.”

He smiles so wide it reaches up to his eyes.

  “I can’t believe you.”

Another evil cackle escapes his lips.

I hate him so much right now I want to slap him across the face, but I’m afraid he will crash the car if I do. “You better put that away before I bite it off.”

He shakes his head, laughing. I wish he would stop doing that. It’s driving me insane.

After a few seconds, he does as I ask, and I can finally breathe once he’s fully clothed again.

  “You need help,” I growl.

“And you need to take the stick out of your ass and learn to live a little.”

“That’s what I thought I was doing tonight.”

He fumbles with the button of his jeans, holding his fingers there. “It’s not too late.”

“You’re such an animal. Why are you hard, anyway?”

“Racing turns me on,” he admits. “I could fuck for hours after a race.” He winks at me. “You can find out for yourself if you want.”

  “I don’t want,” I lie.

After seeing him, all of him, every part of my body wants him. My panties are drenched, my juices sticking to my inner thighs. Even my nipples are pointed like daggers. I’m so horny I can barely sit in my seat without squirming.

“Right,” he hisses. “Keep telling yourself that.”

Killian moves his hand to the center console and then drops it onto my thigh. My heart slams into my chest, pounding so fast I can barely catch my breath.

  “What are you doing, Killian?”

“You say you want me, but I think you just want the rush.”

  “What’s your point?”

He drags his fingers along my leg, moving them to my inner thigh. “Take off your pants.” Speechless, I stare at him in shock, and he continues, “You want a rush, and I can give you one. Just do a
s I say.”

In some ways, I guess he’s right. His stupid logic is winning out because I do as he requests, tugging my jeans over my hips until they’re bunched at my ankles.

Biting the inside of my cheek, I look at him. “What now?”

He quickly shifts gears, and then his hand is back on my leg, the car moving faster down the highway. Killian’s hand slips beneath my panties, his fingers sliding along my slit.

“Now, I know you lied when you said you didn’t want to suck my cock. Bad. Girl.” His voice is deep and gravely and so damn sexy my juices pool between my legs. “Close your eyes, Jade.”

  “No,” I mutter.

“Do it,” he orders. “Stop thinking.”

As I close my eyes, I lean my head back against the headrest. Killian pushes two fingers inside me, ripping a scream from my lips. I. Could. Die. He hits every pleasure point, taking me to new heights with his fingers.

“Good girl,” he mutters, breaking through my inner walls, his pace matching the speed of the car. “Just relax, Jade.”

We’re driving so fast I’m afraid to take a peek at the speedometer. I have no idea why I’m letting him do this, but it feels too good to stop. Killian is way too hard to resist. When I said I wanted him in the alleyway at school, part of me meant in a sexual way. But I also want to know the truth about why he stole my car.

“That’s it, princess,” he growls as I squeeze his fingers, my inner walls holding them in a vise. “Come on my fingers.”

With my eyes closed, I visualize his sexy smirk and killer good looks. I imagine his long, thick cock in his hand. The entire car is filled with my scent, and the closer I come to finding my release, my skin is on fire. My body trembles, and as it does, I bite down on my bottom lip moaning for Killian as I come.

“Fuck, Jade,” he whispers, sliding his fingers out of me, and I already miss his touch.

When I open my eyes, I glance over at him, out of breath. “What was that all about?”

He sucks my juices from his fingers and makes a strange sound as if he likes the taste. “I had to get you to calm down somehow.”

  “I was perfectly calm.”

He snorts, placing both hands on the steering wheel. “The fuck you were.”

Still reeling from the high Killian gave me, I have no idea how to respond. I can’t even remember the last time a guy touched me, let alone the last time one made me come. Damn, that felt good. I can’t even deny it, and I wish he would do it again.

“Do you think that makes us even? You have to do a lot more than make me come before that happens.”

“I can pull over right now…” he wiggles his eyebrows, “… and fuck you on the hood.”

“We still wouldn’t be even,” I counter.

He smirks. “But you didn’t say no either.”

  “You’re horrible.”

“And you need to loosen up,” he shoots back.

I shake my head, annoyed. “Are you kidding me? I just let a complete stranger finger me while we were going a hundred miles an hour.”

  “One-twenty,” he corrects.

“Whatever. You get my point. I don’t do things like this… with anyone.”

His green eyes slice through me. “Maybe you should start.”

  Chapter Nine

  Killian

Instead of driving to the race in North Jersey, I turn around and head back to Strickland University. Jade doesn’t need to be involved in this part of my life. In fact, she needs to forget she ever met me.

  I’m a bad man.

  She’s a good girl.

And I will ruin her if she gives me the chance.

“I thought we were going to a race,” she says, breaking the silence in the car.

“No, I’m taking you back to campus.”

“You haven’t held up your end of the bargain yet,” she challenges. “I want to know why you stole my car. That was part of the deal. You said you would tell me everything, but you haven’t told me a damn thing. Instead, you tried to make me forget by shoving your fingers in my pussy.”

Her anger makes my cock hard, and the thought of her tight pussy doesn’t help. I like Jade, even though she’s not my usual type. Maybe I pegged her wrong, but even if I did, I can’t allow her into my world. It’s dangerous. However, she does deserve an answer after allowing me to walk away. So what do I tell her? If I don’t give her something, she will never drop it, and I’ll never be rid of her.

But do I want that? A part of me likes having her around. The rational side of my brain says fuck no, she will only get in the way. A girl like Jade will never understand my life. There’s no point in explaining it to her.

“I needed the money,” I confess. “Someone wanted your car, and I gave it to them. It’s that simple.”

She scowls, crossing her arms over her chest, pushing out her tits. “Well, get it back from them.”

  “I can’t. Too late. It’s long gone.”

Her expression turns dark. “You have to give me more than that.”

“You were driving an AMG S 63 Coupe in the city when you have no real need for a car.”

  “And what’s wrong with that?”

I stop at the light on Broad Street and shrug. “For what reason did you need a car with six hundred horsepower? It’s almost like you were begging me to take it.”

She scoffs. “You’re a real piece of work.”

“Your car was the closest at the time. You didn’t factor into the equation. It’s not like the car is registered in your name.”

  “And you know that how?”

“Because I hacked into the DMV server to find your car,” I say, stating what I assume is the obvious.

  “You’re a hacker?”

I contemplate her question and grunt. “I’m whatever my crew needs me to be.”

“What role were you playing tonight?”

“A winner,” I say, trying not to laugh, but Jade beats me to it.

  “I don’t get you, Killian.”

“You don’t need to. This is the last time we’re hanging out. My life is too dangerous. You seem like a sweet girl, maybe a little too naïve, and you can’t get involved in this world. You don’t have the skin for it.”

“How about you let me be the judge?”

Ignoring her question, I make a left down Greek Row and pull over in front of the Kappa Delta chapter house. “How about you get out of my car?”

She punches me in the arm, but her touch is so light I barely feel it. “You’re such a jerk.”

I’m intentionally trying to push Jade away. I don’t want her to like me. She needs to hate me or maybe like me a little less. Her pussy was so tight I can’t stop thinking about what it would feel like to fuck her. Her scent is burned into my nostrils, the taste of her still on my tongue.

  Snap out of it, Kade.

“I’ll see you in class on Monday,” she hisses and then pushes open the door.

When she slams the door, I want to scream. But at least she’s gone. Regardless of the class we share, she can’t force me to talk to her. She made it clear she’s not going to tell. So, I can relax a little bit, though, I can’t get too comfortable.

Jade could change her mind at any minute, and then my entire crew will be fucked. I have to keep tabs on her. I need to keep her close. Maybe if I give her what she wants, she will keep her mouth shut.

Thinking over the consequences, I get out of the car and yell over to her. “Come next week. I’ll even let you ride with me.”

I shouldn’t allow it, but I know that’s what Jade has wanted from the start. Maybe if I give her a little, she’ll lose interest and drop this stupid game we’re playing.

She smiles so wide it reaches up to her eyes. “Really?”

I nod, and her face brightens even more.

  “See you in class, Killian.”

  * * *

When I open the double doors to the lecture hall on Monday morning, students are crowded in the aisles. The professor is waitin
g behind the podium. Jamie is already in the back, and Jade is sitting a few rows in front of him.

It’s as if I can’t shake her. No matter where I turn, she’s there to remind me of the favor I owe her. I’m not even sure what she wants other than a life. But what she doesn’t realize is my life isn’t a game. I do what I do out of necessity.

Instead of taking my place next to Jamie, I slip into the desk next to her. She shoots me a look, so evil her eyes slice through me. Acting as though she’s uncomfortable, she clutches the edge of the desk, her gaze focused on the front of the classroom.

“I’m mad at you,” she coos.

I reach out and cup my hand over hers holding her in place. The heat that travels between us is intense but calming. We both feel it. She can’t deny what we share is more than our physical attraction for one another. Even I hate to admit it.

“I’m sorry about Saturday night,” I whisper. “I was an asshole.”

She stills in her chair, allowing me to thread my fingers between hers, the energy she radiates coming off her in waves. By stroking her skin with my thumb, I get her undivided attention. She locks onto me staring into my eyes. We share a moment where her lips part, along with her thighs. I never miss the response I get from Jade.

Staring down at her legs, I lick my lips. The professor begins speaking into the microphone, but I can’t stop thinking about what I want to do to Jade, especially when she’s wearing a skirt which is going to allow me easy access. Her thighs are long and toned, and when I reach between them, tiny bumps dot her skin.

  She should stop me.

  I should stop myself.

But I want to feel her again, connect with her on a more intimate level.

No one can see us back here other than Jamie. Not like he gives a shit. The class sizes at Strickland University are larger than other schools. With the desks situated up high enough that no one can see, I tell myself it’s okay to keep going.

Unable to think of anything other than what’s beneath the thin material between her legs, I slide my hand further up her thigh rubbing the silky fabric. If we were alone, I’d kiss every inch of her, make her come with my tongue, and then thrust my throbbing cock into her wet pussy. But she will have to settle for the next best thing.
