Bastion wrapped one hand around her neck so that she felt it, his hand heavy against her throat to make her feel every breath and shaking thrust.
“That ass is virgin to pleasure. You like dirty talk, Kitten? Or do you want me to use my hands to make my point? Bind you and play with your body?”
“Long as you can handle talkback, I’ll take your filthy mouth,” Tess said. “I want my hands free next time, so I can scratch them down your back.”
“Give me them, Tess-girl. Unbind her. I want to finish with those claws marking me,” War demanded.
Bastion pulled something and the whole tie on her wrists loosed. He must have used a quick knot.
Tess wrapped her hands around War’s shoulders, letting the loosened tie fall off her wrists. She purposefully dug her nails into those powerful muscles lifting her up and down on his huge rod of a cock.
The twins released her legs, and before she could take her next breath, War flipped them over, not missing a beat as he kept thrusting, driving her over the edge as the change in angle caught her clit the right way.
“Luce,” she breathed out before her whole body tightened.
He smothered her with a kiss. They all were getting to know her too well. A screamer, hell yes. With guys fucking her like this it was no wonder she screamed every time she orgasmed.
“My turn,” War said as he pulled away from her mouth once her screams were over.
He grabbed her relaxed hips and gave her a flurry of thrusts as he sought his own finish.
It wasn’t only her pussy that was going to be feeling the after-effects of this hard ride. Her thigh muscles burned from where the twins had held her spread and suspended. Her neck was tender from Bastion’s sharp nibbles.
She ached from all of their possessions.
War stiffened over her. He made a point to kiss her lips again as he came, letting out a sound of male satisfaction that was a mix between a growl and a groan. It was like his accent had roughened that up, too.
She finally released his big shoulders from her grasp, throwing her arms up over her head and stretching. That had been one hell of a workout, even if it was more sprint than marathon.
“Looks like Kitten got the cream,” Bastion joked.
Tess rolled her eyes at him. “Original,” she mocked. Knowing they had to get back in their seats soon, she added, “What’s next, Bossy? You going to tongue or whip my pussy?”
Kade tsked. “Did you forget that Bastion gets you alone once we land?”
War rolled off of her to deal with the condom, leaving her exposed to the rest of their gazes.
She fought the urge to cover up. They were all her boyfriends now.
“Either way, Bastard’s going to lick you,” Keir salaciously added. “Don’t forget to keep score. Are you going to count orgasms or screams?”
“It’s not a competition,” Tess mumbled, trying to sit up in the bed.
She didn’t quite have all her strength back yet.
Bastion reached over and grabbed her by a shoulder and a forearm, helping to haul her up.
“Everything’s a competition with twins, but nobody said you had to pick one winner.”
“Should I be handing out consolation prizes?” Tess teased, unable to stop herself.
Bastion kissed her on the forehead. His hand on her forearm tightened.
“How fast do you think I could bend you over this bed and get my dick inside you for my consolation fuck?”
“Not fast enough,” War said. “Help Tess get dressed instead of giving her idle threats.”
Tess went up on her tiptoes and kissed Bastion on the lips before he could release her to get dressed like War suggested.
“Sorry, Bossy. I like pushing you,” she said as she finished the sweet kiss. “It’s safe for me to let go with you.”
Bastion smiled. It wasn’t a huge grin but the slight upturn of his lips was genuine.
“You’re safe with all of us, but I will push back when you need it.”
“Underwear or are you going commando under your jeans?” Keir inquired, breaking the two of them up with the odd question.
She hated to go commando. But she was wet and that had started before they got into the bedroom. Her panties needed to be laundered first.
“Commando, I guess,” she answered with a look at her panties in Keir’s hand.
He pocketed them. She choked back her response.
“Right leg first,” Keir directed.
She had to zip up her jeans carefully once she tugged them in place. Hopefully, she could shower and change not long after they landed.
Messy sex was fun while it was happening, but slogging through anything with her jeans pressed up tight against her wet labia wasn’t sexy in the least. They chafed as she walked. How guys ever went commando was beyond her.
This probably wasn’t even the most uncomfortable aspect of the day left ahead of her.
As they opened the bedroom door, they caught Ms. Gladstone with her hand raised to knock. The look the older woman gave all of them wasn’t quite censorious, although it did linger longer on Tess and War.
They still had to meet War’s father. A rich man, if his home and this jet had anything to say about it. More wealthy than she could even imagine.
Tess had slept with his son a day after telling War he was a dumb jock she was using for his body. The lie of that better not be plastered on her stupid forehead when she met War’s father.
In for a penny, in for a pound.
Nah. That was how debts were made. Tess preferred to spend her pennies in other ways. She didn’t want to be always receiving help, giving nothing in return.
Take a penny, leave a penny.
That was more her style, even if the guys didn’t look like they needed any pennies. It was one thing to be rich in coin and another to be rich in friends. Not the birds of a feather, either.
Her type of bird was fiery. The Phoenix club was back.

Footsteps in the Sand
Mr. Stewart greeted them on the jet before they could disembark. He was wearing a kilt like War, the same pattern, so it had to be clan related.
Kade was sure if he asked the man, it would result in a long, checkered history of their ancestors lives in Scotland. It was the kind of orally passed-down stories Keir would geek over, eager to explore other civilizations and traditions.
Keir would make a dream archaeologist. He dabbled in languages too, and he would love to enter a student-exchange program or study at a college internationally. None of which their father would agree to when the plans were for Keir to study law at Dad’s alma mater and start practicing as soon as possible.
Keir wasn’t to gallivant around the world, playing an artsy student.
Those plans for Keir’s future had once belonged to Kade, but the accident had redirected their father's ambitions. Kade had a criminal offence, a record. A bright future in law was no longer in the books.
Well, their father wasn't here.
Mr. Stewart looked happy to greet them and he was wearing his kilt proudly. Kade decided his brother’s pleasure was worth indulging. It would be a nice ice breaker, getting Mr. Stewart to do most of the talking and focused on himself.
Better than launching right into why they were here or directing questions towards Tess when she was looking nervous, hanging back, behind the rest of them.
She wanted a shield? They would be happy to provide it.
What Kade hadn’t anticipated was that Mr. Stewart would have the same stubborn, difficult to outmaneuver attitude of his son.
“Just a moment, lad,” Mr. Stewart replied to Kade’s question. “I haven't even had the chance to greet the first lass my son’s brought with him to the island, not including his Mum and sisters.”
War must have sensed Tess was uncomfortable, too.
“Da, let her stretch her legs and have a shower. Don't be crowding her on this wee jet.”
Mr. Stewart was a bi
g man, approaching seven feet. He easily topped his son’s height by another half foot. The kilt did nothing to civilize him, strong calves each the size of most men’s thighs and shoulders broad enough to tackle any of War’s football teammates.
It was the mammoth size that they both shared, Mr. Stewart otherwise a red-headed, bearded Scot that contrasted palely next to his darker son. Ruby had given War his smooth ebony skin and curly black hair that he kept shaved short.
War still looked more intimidating in the kilt than his dad. It was probably because Kade saw what War could do to the other players on the field. He was well aware of War’s strengths and how far the younger Stewart was willing to go to succeed and make Ruby proud.
From what War had told them, his dad had a razor-sharp business sense. Savagery couldn’t quite be hidden by clothes, be it a suit or a kilt put on to pander to business guests.
They would have to be on good behaviour. Mr. Stewart had presented himself to ensure it, and perhaps, to honestly meet Tess due to his curiosity.
Tess wasn't going to hide behind them despite Kade’s initial impression when they exited the jet bedroom with her acting embarrassed and shy. She’d already shown them that strength wasn't measured only in muscles.
“Hi. I’m Tess,” she said to Mr. Stewart, stepping between them all in the aisle so that she could offer her hand to shake.
“Bonny, is’na she son?” Mr. Stewart said, shaking the hand Tess proffered.
He was a lot gentler about it than he looked. The big hand he used to clap War on the back to congratulate him was rougher.
“Very pretty,” War agreed.
Tess blushed.
Kade agreed with the flattery, but it was interesting to see how easily she got flustered by the compliment. Perhaps she hadn't heard enough of them yet. Kade would have to talk to his twin about making up for that deficit.
“Thank you for having us here,” Tess said. She was quick to redirect the attention from her looks. “I got a glimpse of the island from the jet before we landed and I can't wait to explore the beach. I've never been to an ocean, only lakes.”
“Come on, then,” Mr. Stewart told Tess. “We have to get you off of this stuffy contraption and your feet onto the sand. The best way to appreciate the ocean for the first time is racing the waves lapping at your toes from the shoreline.”
“That sounds fun,” Tess replied.
War took her hand and helped lead her off the jet.
The weather was a bit cooler than Kade expected for a tropical island. There was a good wind up, which promised those waves Mr. Stewart had been talking about would do more than gently lap at Tess’s toes. They better check her swimming skills before they left for the beach.
“Bastion, do you remember the path to the beach in front of the house? There’s a change room with showers and a small kitchen with a stocked fridge of refreshments,” War said.
It sounded like they were going to break up their group quickly.
War was eager to talk to his father alone. Kade knew Mr. Stewart was fitting this in between his business with guests on the island that he still had to keep company.
All of this hadn't been planned far ahead, a last-minute decision that War said was necessary to ask for his father's help in-person once they’d learned how much was at stake with Tess entering Jensen’s orbit.
“I can escort them. Do you think you'll be joining us, or should we make our way to the house for lunch and meet you there?” Bastion asked.
Mr. Stewart was the one to ponder the question. “I’ll send someone down if Warrick can’t make it.”
He nodded to them all and walked over to the pilot to say a few things before he headed back to the mansion Kade had glimpsed from the air.
War looked over to his father and then back at Tess, clearly torn.
Keir wrapped an arm about Tess’s waist, pulling her to his side.
“We’ll take good care of her, War. Thanks for letting us come along. This place looks fantastic. Definitely what we needed to beat the end-of-winter blues.”
His brother made the trip sound like a spontaneous spring-break getaway, not a big deal for a bunch of young adults. The last hurrah before university.
They certainly worked hard. Tess deserved a break. Keir with his cheerful ways was just the one to give it to her.
“Lead the way, Bastion. Keir and I will take turns piggybacking Tess if it’s far to walk,” Kade said, already establishing with his brother that he’d better share.
“I can walk,” Tess protested, as expected.
“She’s calling us weak,” Keir playfully rejoined.
“Now you have no choice but to take off your shirt and show her otherwise,” Kade sarcastically added.
Keir let go of Tess’s waist. “Bit windy out here. Don’t be staring at my nips,” he said, clucking his tongue at her before whipping his shirt over his head.
He tossed it back to Kade.
“Yeah, he’s really sensitive about his nipples, Pumpkin. Too chicken to get them pierced even though he’s such a show-off that he’s probably dying to try it,” Kade teased back, balling up his brother’s shirt.
Bastion laughed. He was leading the way, but he stopped to give them all a measuring look.
“Not what I heard in chat last night,” Bastion said. “Something about dicks with all the bells and whistles?”
Tess blushed, fire in her cheeks. “I was only answering your questions about their dicks.”
Kade choked back his own laugh, but not Keir. “Bastard asked you about our dicks?” Kade said in disbelief.
Bastion crossed his arms and chuffed in response before clarifying.
“Where your dicks went last night. I remember setting rules about scaring Tess off with your dicks first thing after you stopped her side trip.”
“I was running away, not taking a detour,” Tess muttered.
Bastion arched a blonde brow, almost hiding it in his bangs being blown around by the wind.
“Semantics. You were going the wrong direction—away from us. Did you find their pierced dicks scary, Kitten?”
“Surprising,” Tess answered.
“It’s a barbell frenulum piercing, single,” Kade said. “Not a Prince Albert.”
“Nice beginner’s piercing,” Bastion commented.
Tess gave him a sharp look. “Are you saying you have this Prince Albert one?”
“She’s so googling that one tonight. Why waste your time on dick picks if you have all of us?” Keir teased.
Bastion smiled. It was friendly, except for the wink he added. “Guess you’ll have to wait to find out.”
“Poor Bastard, probably the first time he’s come last when a girl’s involved,” Keir joked.
Kade gave his brother a curt look.
Bastion was already on edge from talking to Tess about his past. Now was not the time for Keir to push him.
“Whatever. Things didn't go all the way last night. Relax. There’s still time to show off for our girl.” Kade gave Tess his own wink. “Don’t be counting your chicks before they hatch.”
Tess laughed. It sounded freer than earlier. The sex had been good for her. A release of all that tension.
Arriving here, she seemed to feel safer, more relaxed.
“Do you think I should give the kids a call and let them know that we landed safely?” Tess asked.
“Why, do they have the same kind of fear of flying as you?” Bastion asked.
“It’s not a fear of flying, only taking off and landing.”
“Technically, the most problems happen during those times, but the worst danger is in the air,” Keir said.
“I don't think they have a phone on the beach-side. We would have to go up to the main house,” Kade said, responding to her worry.
“They have a way to ring the main house from the beach. It's not a telephone connected to any lines other than those local to the island. You wouldn't be able to talk to the kids yourself from there, but we could
have a message passed on to War and ask him to call them on your behalf,” Bastion suggested.
Tess murmured agreement.
Kade reached for one of her hands. “Don’t worry, they're safe and well cared for with Jacobson watching over them.”
“Your mother is doing better in the hospital as well,” Bastion added. “I talked to Ruby about limiting any visitors other than her kids. I specifically mentioned your father by name, although all I said to Ruby was that they were separated and your mother would have to approve any visitation request from him.”
“Thanks for looking out for my mom,” Tess said. “I felt bad deserting them all to come here.”
Keir grabbed for her other hand, catching it and pulling her a little closer to his side. Always sharing, but never equally.
“You needed a break. We have some serious things to discuss with you, as you know. War has to ask for this kind of stuff from his father in person. Besides, is enjoying yourself a crime?” Keir asked.
Tess scoffed. “No,” she said, but in a tiny voice.
“Louder,” Bastion ordered.
“No!” Tess shouted. “Bossy,” she added, a lot quieter.
Bastion decided to let it go because he didn't say anything, continuing to lead them on towards the beach.
“How much further?” Keir asked. He nailed the whiny kid voice down perfectly.
“Further,” Bastion answered.
“Piggyback further?” Kade asked, beating his brother to it.
“Yeah, absolutely,” Bastion said.
Kade almost thanked him. “Pumpkin, can I interest you in a ride?”
Keir opened his mouth, but Tess elbowed his younger brother in the gut, cutting off what Keir wanted to say.
“Yes, Kade. Thanks for being such a gentleman,” Tess replied.
Keir groaned. “I didn’t say anything. What was that for?”
“I can read your mind, Trouble.”
Kade stopped, squatted down, and reached back over his head to help Tess climb on.
“Loser, weiner-whiner,” he taunted his brother.
“Did I elbow the wrong twin? And here I thought I could tell you two apart,” Tess said, mocking horror at getting them mixed-up.
