  Acknowledgements

  Witch Ever After would not exist without a perfect intersection of things and people on the fabric of space and time, but more specifically:

  My partner Vincent, who absolutely understood when I had to abscond to the guest room or kitchen to write for several hours at a time and did a lot (like, seriously, a lot) of grocery shopping and chores on his own as I toiled away;

  One of my very best writer-friends, Ivy McAdams, who did not quite hold my hand through this process, but also basically did;

  Simone Lockett, who offered invaluable insight during the early drafts of this novel;

  And my parents, who have always been my greatest advocates and life cheerleaders.

  (I suppose it would be indecent of me to mention my parents without making mention of my kid brother, who doesn’t really read books, let alone girly or sweet or cozy ones.

  But despite this, he’s quite lovely too, and is also willing to sell me his old console games at a deeply discounted rate, which is very important when you’re a girl on a budget but also need RDR2.)

  About the Author

  Kallie Khan has a deep and abiding love for cute things, quirky things, snarky things, and an incongruous but equally deep love for the movie Scarface. She also loves tea (black and herbal and the occasional green, because to limit oneself in regard to tea would be a tragedy), cold brew coffee, books, and gaming. She is moderately convinced she was a wombat in a past life. Kallie holds an MFA in writing.
