Deceitful Hearts Page 3

Since hanging around them, Phoenix had even learned a thing or two. Tone always told her she was too pretty to get dirty and that’s what she had them for, but she insisted on hanging with them. There had only been a few times he’d allowed her presence when it was time to work, and it was most definitely something she didn’t plan to do very often. In Miami, everyone knew them, so nobody messed with her.

“Nah, it’s in Daytona. I don’t feel like fucking with that shit either.”

That admission made her turn her head in his direction because Ollie was always ready. He was the dirtiest of them all, besides Tek. That lil nigga was a fucking maniac.

  “Why not?”

“My mind just ain’t in the shit.”

“Well, it needs to get there. You half step, you get rocked.”

Ollie laid across her bed in his jeans and boxers. “Listen at your ass talking like you from the streets.”

  “I am.”

“No the fuck you’re not. Your family is, but you ain’t. You’re a goody good.”

“I’m a what? Nigga be for real,” Phoenix got indignant.

She hated when people said stuff like that.

“Hold that shit down, girl. I’m just fucking with you. But for real, you ain’t street, and you don’t need to be. We got that handled for you. Sit back, be pretty, and let us fuck shit up for you.”

“Get out.” Phoenix kicked his shoulder as she crossed her arms over her chest.

When he sat up, he had the nerve to look confused. “Fuck no. Who you think you talking to?”

“I’m talking to your ass. Get out of my room right now, and close the door behind you.”

“You a spoiled ass little girl. That’s your fucking problem. You salty because I called you on your shit? I’m the wrong muthafucka to pout with, and you already know that. I don’t even know why you’re trying it right now. You ain’t fucking hood. Get that shit through your big ass head. Most of these hood rats probably wish they were like your ass. It ain’t shit good in these streets and you need to be grateful for the life you live instead of throwing tantrums and shit. It’s more to being hood than fighting every gotdamn day.”

Phoenix thought about saying something to calm him down, but changed her mind. Fuck him! He wasn’t her man anyway.

“Fuck you and goodnight.” Phoenix scooted down in her bed and pulled her covers back over her body.

She didn’t have to take that shit from Ollie. She was the fucking queen around this bitch, and he had better remember that shit. She was piping mad as she tossed and turned in her bed. It seemed like she couldn’t get comfortable for nothing. It was probably because that nigga Ollie was still standing next to her bed looking at her like the fucking lunatic he was.

“I know I told you to leave.”

“Phoenix, your ass don’t run me.”

  “Yes I do.”

  “Since when?”

“Since forever, now take your butt to y’all nasty side of the house.”

She didn’t hear him say anything else, but she felt his movement. Instead of hearing her door slam shut, she heard the locks click. Ah hell, here he goes with this shit. She already knew what time it was. Whenever he locked her door, that meant he was sleeping with her. They locked it just in case somebody in the house came looking for him.

The bed shifted from his weight as he sat on the edge to remove his jeans. When he was in nothing but his boxers, he pulled the covers back and looked at her. She was dressed in her orange cut off t-shirt and a pair of cheetah print panties with no bra. His eyes roamed freely over her before settling on her face.

  “Why you play so much?”

  “How I’m playing, Ollie?”

“Wearing this shit.” He pulled at the lace of her panties. “You knew I was coming up here.”

Phoenix smirked. “How was I supposed to know that? You act like this is an every night thing.”

  “Shit, it needs to be.”

She didn’t say anything to that because he was right. They were feeling each other hard, but that wasn’t going to fly. He knew it and so did she. Ollie obviously felt her discomfort because he slid in the bed behind her and pulled the covers back over them. They lay in the dark, neither of them saying anything. Before long, Phoenix had drifted back to sleep. It never took long to fall asleep when she was with Ollie. In the middle of one of the best dreams she’d ever had, she tried to roll over, but she couldn’t.

There was something stopping her from turning her hips. She looked behind her to see where Ollie was, but he wasn’t there. Her eyes roamed the room as she bucked her hips once again, trying to move. She looked down, and what she saw paired with what she heard made her want to scream. Ollie’s face was nuzzled between her thighs and he was moaning like she was the best thing he’d ever tasted.

“Be still, baby. This shit is too good,”

“Ollie, what you doing?” She tried not to moan.

  “Just relax, I got you.”

Phoenix laid her head back on her pillow and rubbed her hands over the waves in Ollie’s head. His tongue on her lower lips had her body on the brink of exploding. Never in her life had she felt something like this. Sure, she’d pleasured herself plenty of times with her toys, but that little shit didn’t have nothing on this grown man’s tongue. Whew shit! Ollie snaked his tongue around in her wetness before he started French kissing it as if it were her mouth.

“Ahhhhhh Ollie, I can’t take it.”

“Yes, you can. Open wider.” He tapped the inside of her thigh lightly before sticking that same finger into her warm tunnel.

Phoenix spread her legs a little to give him more room, but they were clasped right back around his head within seconds. When she felt her stomach tightening and her body tingling, she got nervous. She didn’t know how Ollie would feel about what was about to happen next. Snatching the pillow from beneath her head, she covered her face as quick as she could. Ollie applied pressure in the right spot a few more times before the flood broke. She came all over his face. It trickled out like a stream. She hated that.

The first time it had ever happened she looked it up and tried to figure out why it happened. It was then that she learned what squirting was. She’d read a few more articles about it; it was so much shit on the internet about that mess, it didn’t make any sense. What pushed her over the edge was when she read an article saying it was urine. She couldn’t shake anything after that. That was just nasty. Afraid to move the pillow, she waited to see what Ollie was about to say.

“Damn, girl. That was the shit.”

  Phoenix cringed. “Sorry.”

Ollie pulled the pillow from her face. “What you sorry for? You ain’t got to be sorry for that. You can cum on my face anytime you want. As a matter of fact, until you leaking that shit on a nigga’s dick, my face is the only place I want you to cum. You hear me?”

If Phoenix’s face could turn any redder than it was, she was almost positive it would have. Ollie’s mouth was crazy. He would say anything, with his hood ass. She looked all over the room at nothing in particular. There was just no way in the world she could look at him right now.

He slapped her thigh. “You hear me?”

  Phoenix nodded her head.

“Nah, I want to hear you say that shit.”

“No, Ollie, I don’t want to.”

  “I don’t care. Say it.”

“Please, Ollie, I don’t want to.”

“Nah, it’s time out for all that shy shit. You wasn’t acting shy when my face was in your pussy, so kill that noise.”

“What you want me to say? Dang.”

“Say, I’ma cum on your face until I’m ready for your dick, Ollie.”

“What? No! I’m not about to say that.”

Ollie kneeled back down and snatched her body closer to the edge of the bed and dove right back into her pussy head first. She gasped as his tongue moved in and out of her rapidly. She pushed at his head and tried to scoot away, but he wasn’t having it. He lo
cked his arms around her thighs and pulled her closer. He didn’t bother to move or look up until he felt the muscles in her legs begin to tighten.

  “Say it, Phoenix.”

“Un uh.” She shook her head from side to side as she fought back the pleasure he was giving her.

Ollie took that as his cue to finish her. He was going to teach her to do as she was told. She was cumin’ and squirting again in a matter of seconds. He wiped his face and sat back up on her bed. She was breathing hard and her eyes were closed.

  “You ready to say it?”

This time, she nodded yes before repeating what he’d told her to. Satisfied, he grabbed the towel from behind her door and wiped her up. When he was done, he picked her limp body up and placed her at the bottom of the bed. He grabbed their pillows and lay beside her once again.

  “Why’d we move?”

“You wet up the sheets.” He kissed her neck and closed his eyes.

  “You don’t want anything back?”

  “What you mean?”

“I mean, I know you just umm, gave me ummm… well you know. I just feel like I should be doing something back.”

He kissed her neck again. “Don’t worry about that. I’m good. I work better when I’m tense. I just wanted to give you something to think about while I’m away. Maybe you’ll help ease my edge when I get back from Daytona.”

Phoenix thought about what he said and nodded. It was almost eight o’clock in the morning, and they were just now falling asleep.

  ******

The next day moved fast as hell. The boys were running around the house trying to get all of their stuff together while she made them lunch. After their morning meeting, everyone went their separate ways, doing whatever they needed to do before leaving. Tone had made it very clear that this was an undercover job, meaning they were hired by the government. Apparently, there was a drug war going on between three rival gangs, and they were to take out the smaller one that refused to pay off the city’s dirty cops.

“Aye, Fe, you know where I put my vest?” Tone asked as he picked up a piece of the chicken she’d just finished frying.

“It’s in the laundry room.” She’d put his vest, along with Tek, and Bear’s bulletproof vests in there after their last job.

  “Good looking, lil sis.”

“You know I got you. What time y’all leaving?”

“In about another hour. We’ll be back tomorrow night. Cool?”

  “Yep.”

Phoenix took out more of the chicken and placed it in the basket when she heard her phone beep with a text message. It was from an unknown number.

Good afternoon beautiful. I was hoping you were hungry today.

  Who is this?

She knew who it was, but she felt like playing.

  Jamar

Oh hey. I’m actually cooking right now

Well don’t drink nothing. Let me take you to get a soda or something

  LOL, you’re so funny

  I’m serious.

  K. Give me an hour and I’ll meet you somewhere

  Cool

Phoenix turned her phone over and continued cooking. When she was finished, she fixed each of their plates and started cleaning the kitchen. She was bending over getting the soap for the dishwasher when she heard Zino’s voice.

“This is what I’m talking about, lil sis.” He admired the rice, fried chicken, and cheesy macaroni.

Phoenix shook her head at him. “I don’t know why you call me that when we’re the same age.”

“It’s a habit now. You gon’ be all right while we’re gone?”

“Yeah, I’ll be good. I ain’t got nothing to do, so I’ll probably just chill.”

“Here, take this and go shopping or something.” Zino pulled a wad of cash out of his pocket and threw it on the counter.

She didn’t need it, but she took it anyway. Zino was always giving her money. Although they were all like family, the two of them had always been closer. He was young like her, so they had a shared interest in a lot of the same things. They hung out, shopped, and clubbed together. The rest of the crew always teased them about being twins, they were so tight.

“Thanks, Z.” She stuck the money in her bra. “It’s a party on the beach this weekend. You know I need my twin with me.”

“Word? We in that bitch, twin.” His chocolate face lit up from his smile.

  Damn.

Although she looked at Zino like a brother, he was sexy as hell. His melanin filled skin, dark eyes, and sexy ass lips made her mind go there every now and then. His baby face and deep voice contradicted each other terribly, but the ladies loved it. Her boy was a ladies’ man down to his bones. He was one of the only members of the Zoo who actually associated with people. He wasn’t too much friendlier than the rest of them, but he tried.

  “I already knew that, though.”

They were both in the middle of laughing when Bear and Tek walked in.

“What the hell y’all young asses laughing at?” Bear asked, taking a seat in front of his plate.

“Your fat neck ass,” Zino said, making Phoenix laugh again.

Bear laughed and took a seat at the counter. He wasn’t the best looking, but he was loyal, and funny as fuck. He was large in stature, so more times than not, he was the enforcer of the Zoo, not that they needed much of that.

The friends sat in the kitchen talking and laughing a little longer before Ollie and Tone decided to join them. Those two niggas were always plotting some extra shit, so Phoenix wasn’t surprised they were the last to come and eat. She stood from the table, grabbed her phone, and headed to her room. She texted Jamar where to meet her, and proceeded to find something to wear. Deciding on her dark purple shorts, white crop top, and her high top white Converse. She brushed her hair back into her bun at the top of her head and put on her gold necklace and earrings. After spraying perfume on, she grabbed her phone and purse then left her room.

When she got downstairs, the kitchen was empty so she went to the basement. The loud smell of weed hit her nostrils before she even got all the way down the stairs. The five of them were sitting around the room in various places smoking. Zino and Tek were playing pool, while Bear and Tone sat on the couch scrolling through their phones. Ollie was on the floor doing push-ups.

  “I’m out, boys. Y’all be safe. I love y’all.”

She found it funny how all of them asked her where she was going at the same time. Possessive asses.

“Damn, y’all nosey. I’m going out, that’s all y’all need to know.” She walked to Tone and kissed the side of his forehead before following suit with the rest of them. She did this every time they left each other. When she got to Ollie, he whispered in her ear discreetly.

“You look good. Think about what I told you last night.”

“I will, baby. Be safe.” She walked away and headed for the stairs.

When Phoenix was in her car about to pull off Zino came running out the house. “Tone said make sure you got your piece and follow the rule.”

Tone’s number one rule was, if anything felt off, shoot first and ask questions later.

“Come on now, Z. Y’all treating me like an amateur.”

“You know how Tone is, twin. Just make sure you do what he said.”

After telling Zino she would, he went back into the house and she left. She sped all the way to the beach in her yellow DC100 sport Land Rover. Tone had gotten it for her birthday and she loved it.

  Chapter 3

“I’m surprised you even came,” Jamar told her as they walked up the sidewalk.

“Me too. I don’t normally do dates,”

“Why not? I know your fine ass probably got hella niggas trying to wife you.”

  “I don’t, actually. I live a pretty secluded life.”

Jamar nodded his head as they continued to walk. He wasn’t lying when he said that he was surprised she’d come. By way she was blowing him off at the club, he figured she’d be the same way when he
asked her out. He was happy as hell when she agreed to meet him for drinks. It didn’t go unnoticed that when he asked why she lived so secluded, she changed the subject. He’d be sure to pick that topic up again later. Right now, he just wanted to get to know her.

  “You ever been jet skiing?”

“Hell yeah. I go with my brothers all the time.”

“So you won’t mind hitting the waves with your boy right now then?” Jamar smiled as he grabbed her hand. When she looked up at him, he pinched her cheek. “You’re so fucking cute.”

Phoenix blushed. “I didn’t bring my swimsuit.”

“I’ll buy you one. Come on.”

Jamar pulled her toward the passenger seat of his car and opened the door. Phoenix stopped and closed his door back. She didn’t ride with people she didn’t know. Tone didn’t play that shit.

“I’ll follow you in my truck.”

Jamar looked a little offended for a minute before nodding his head. “Cool.”

Phoenix walked briskly to her ride and got in. It didn’t take long for them to get to the beach, being that they were already close to it. Jamar parked his black Audi first, so she pulled in next to him. She was wrapping up her conversation with Tone when she noticed him at her door. She held up her finger, motioning for him to give her a minute. He nodded and took a seat on the hood of his car.

“Have you talked to the people in charge of this set up yet?”

“Yes, Fe, chill damn. You act like we don’t do this shit all the time.”

“Shut up, nigga. You need to be glad y’all got somebody to worry about y’all mean asses.” She heard laughter from the rest of the crew before Ollie’s voice broke through the speaker in her car.

“We love you too, now fall back. We’re good. A nigga backed up and tense as a muthafucka. I don’t know about these other niggas, but I’m wrecking shit tonight.”

Phoenix smiled and covered her face like he could see her blushing. Ollie’s slick ass.

“Whatever, man. Bye y’all. I love y’all. Call me as soon as y’all touch down, and hit me with a text if shit gets hot.”
