And why can't they work each on their own, why do they need a Quad ? What even is a Quad?

Have a good read, and don't hesitate to go look at Todd's other books. Couldn't stop reading Wildmane.

INTERESTING CHARACTERS, MAGIC SYSTEM, AND WORLD

Mr. Fahnestock has created another unique world of fantasy. A world where it takes four individuals to unlock the secrets of their own innate magical abilities. This story is very character focused and reveals tidbits of the larger world as you get to know the four core characters. You learn right off the bat who the bad guys are, but get to watch as the characters slowly figure it out for themselves. You will finish this episode looking forward to the next one.

  I highly recommend.

  UNIQUE PREMISE!

Being a life-long avid reader of fantasy books, I find some stories to be commonplace, or easy to anticipate the plot, but not this book. The author has created a unique concept with flawed characters who must learn to believe in themselves as well as learn to trust others---even when the others are sworn enemies. The characters are distinct, but also highly relatable, and I could see parts of myself in each of them. Their struggles and victories became mine. A truly entertaining read!
