“Spread your legs as wide as you can, angel,” I told him. He immediately obliged.
I followed the same routine as with his arms—me tying knots and caressing his heated skin. As I played with him, I realized that I’d never taken the time to fondle or tease my sub’s skin before. It had always been about the ropes and sexual gratification. Mine, mostly. With Ari, it was so very different. Everything I did was for our pleasure.
When the ropes were finished and Ari was secured tightly to the web, I started placing soft kisses down his back, working around the ropes. He moaned with pleasure, causing me to smile. I never smiled during a scene. I moved back up and leaned against him so he could feel how hard my cock was, so he would know how badly I wanted him.
“Enjoying yourself?” I asked as I swiped my tongue along his earlobe. “How do you like the ropes? Not too tight, I hope.”
“Puurrfect,” he whimpered, already halfway to a state of bliss. “My cock hurts, though. I need to come really badly. Are you going to flog me before you fuck me? I think I’d rather you fuck me first…you know, if I get a vote.”
Even on the fringes of subspace, Ari was being bossy. I had a feeling he could be the posterchild for topping from the bottom, and I fucking loved it. Every damn thing about him.
“I wasn’t going to flog you, angel. That isn’t one of my specialties, but something I’d be more than happy to learn if you think you’d be interested in it. I did, however, plan on tying you and fucking you hard enough that you’ll feel it for a few days.”
He grinned. “That sounds fucking perfect.”
“Fuck,” was all I could manage. I grabbed some lube and a condom and unzipped my own leather pants, releasing my cock from its leather prison.
“I prepped, so I’m ready,” he said with a sly grin. “That’s another thing Baker told me about. He’s a walking notebook of useful information.”
I stared at him, imagining him stretching and lubing his own hole. “Double fuck.”
Before I had the ‘fuck’ out of my mouth, I had my cock lined up to his hole. As I started to push forward, he slammed back and my cock was buried inside him with one stroke. He hissed and then moaned as I growled.
“Feels so damn good.”
“My cock, Eli…it needs your hand while you fuck me. These ropes won’t let me take care of business myself,” he grumbled.
“That’s the point. There will be times I take you to the edge and then bring you right back down again. You’ll curse, scream, and beg for me to let you cum. Your entire body will shake and quake, but I’ll still torture you.”
“Promises, promises,” he dared. “I have a feeling I’m going to be able to take everything you can give me.”
“Promises, promises,” I countered as I pulled out and slammed into him again. My hands wrapped around the spiderweb on either side of his hips and I used it as leverage to fuck him hard. Both of us made dirty sex sounds as I pounded into him, changing positions every few minutes. It was ball-smacking hard. I fucked him fast. I fucked him slow. I fucked him until he whimpered and his head sagged forward. When I felt myself start to implode, I reached for his cock.
“Too late,” he whimpered. “I didn’t wait on you. Oops. That’s on me. No, that’s on you.”
His cheek rested against the spiderweb ropes and his eyes were droopy. There was a silly grin on his face. Drops of sweat clung to his eyelashes and dripped off his chin. His hair, always styled perfectly sexy, looked messy and wet. He’d never been more beautiful to me. Without moving at all, no thrust or touch to my cock, I felt myself erupt, filling the condom as one spasm after another continued to wash over me.
“I love you, Eli. Always have and always will,” he whispered. “You’re mine.”
Epilogue
Ari
I sat on the steps of my front porch and waited for Eli to get home from work. While it had only been a week since I decided to pull my head out of my ass and trick Eli into meeting me at the club, but everything between the two of us was so damn perfect that I already felt like a comfortably old married couple…who was still having honeymoon sex! Eli, thanks to his prowess in the bed and at the club, had awakened the wild animal in me. To say I was insatiable might be the understatement of the century. On top of that, there was still so much I needed to learn and experience. Let’s just say that I was keeping Eli rather busy. He’d temporarily moved into my house while we did some cat renovations on his apartment—just another thing to keep him occupied.
Unfortunately, work had him overloaded, too. With my dad busy trying to handle Jinx, who I’d heard was not only a spoiled brat but a mega male debutante that believed the entire world revolved around him, and Seth and Baker leaving for an assignment, Eli had his hands full keeping clients satisfied during the day and me satisfied in the mornings and evenings. I glanced down at my watch and frowned. He should have been here fifteen minutes ago. Well, actually, I wanted him to be here fifteen minutes ago. I’d worked hard to achieve my latest surprise for Eli and couldn’t wait to see the expression on his face. It had taken hours upon hours of computer hacking and then price haggling—he’d better be as excited as I was! I purchased back and installed all of the playroom equipment that he’d sold to McKenzie. No doubt he would reward me with some really kinky sex for rebuilding his playroom.
“Wouldn’t you rather wait inside, Arizona?” One of my two bodyguards asked politely.
Both Eli and Samantha had insisted that if I was determined to work at home, which I needed to do in order to accomplish the surprise feat, then I had to agree to have bodyguards until we figured out who was behind the two botched kidnappings. Since my dad was already overwhelmed with one worry, we decided to not mention the second attempt to him until he returned home. I looked at the burly man, smiled, and answered, “Nah, I’d rather be outside.” I knew it was safer inside the house, making their jobs easier, but I was tired of being cooped up and I was excited to see Eli. They’d have to get over it.
“Of course, you would,” the taller of the two mumbled sarcastically.
The other guy winked at me, letting me know neither of them were really angry with my decision. I never doubted it—they were too afraid of Eli and Seth to give me any trouble!
I heard the roar of his motorcycle before I could see him. Uh…yeah…he had a motherfucking hot motorcycle that I hadn’t known about. Riding behind him, my arms wrapped tightly around his hard muscles, was definitely in my top five things to do. By the time he punched in the security code and pulled into the driveway, I was standing up and bouncing on the toes of my brand-new biker boots…with my brand-new leather pants tucked inside them. I had felt the need to purchase an entire new motorcycle wardrobe as soon as he’d shown me his rumbling beauty. From the way Eli’s eyes glassed over when he saw me, I knew I’d made the right decision.
“You look gorgeous, angel,” he said as he walked, or I should say, stalked toward me. “I’m fond of that leather on your body. Really fond of it.” He looked at my bodyguards and said, “Get lost, guys. Have a good night. Thanks for keeping him safe for us.”
As soon as they walked back inside to get their gear, Eli said, “Turn around and show me that ass.”
I graciously turned around and gave my ass a shake…or two…or three. Eli was an ass man and I wanted my man to be happy. See? I was a team player!
He was beside me in a second, grabbing a handful and squeezing. “Fuck, Ari. This is a damn good look for you. Of course, I know of a better look on you. Let’s go inside and have a quickie before we head over to my place.” He grabbed my arm and started tugging.
“Nope. Not now,” I answered. “I want to be at your place before the sun goes down. I have this fantasy of us spending the first night of officially living together on your patio, with a pitcher of margaritas, and the special outfit I bought for the occasion.” I flashed him a naughty smile. “Now, let’s hop on that hog and get there.” I couldn’t have controlled my excitement if my life had depended o
n it.
I’d grabbed Eli to tug him, but he didn’t budge. “What?”
“Two things,” he said, holding up two fingers. “First, my bike’s not a Harley, so it isn’t a hog. It’s way cooler than that. He’s a Vintage Indian 8-Valve, the best they ever made. Second,” he leaned closer, “what kind of special outfit did you purchase?”
“It may or may not involve bunny ears and a fuzzy lavender cotton-tail,” I answered.
“Oh, hell. You’re gonna be the death of me! Let me grab my bag and the cat and we’ll be flying down the road in mere seconds. Dayummmm! A cotton tail? You aren’t kidding me, are you?”
“Two things,” I answered, mimicking his earlier move by holding up two fingers. “First, I would never joke about cotton-tails. They are too important and I’ve tried it out, so I know how good I look. Second, I already dropped off your bags and my fur-baby when I went over to give the final approval on the glass wall surrounding the deck.” We’d had to have a much taller wall installed around the upper deck area because I was convinced Havoc would jump over and plunge to her death. She’s not the smartest kitty in the world. Pretty, but not overly smart.
“We’re ready then? This is actually it? You’re moving in with me?” Eli asked.
“Hell, yeah, I am!” Thankfully, with Eli being so busy with work and keeping me satisfied, he hadn’t had an opportunity to be involved with any of the moving…which made my surprise all the better. When I told my dad, he naturally complained that we were moving too fast, which was ridiculous because we’d been in love with each other for years—Dad just didn’t know it. Speaking of which…
As I climbed onto the non-hog, I asked, “Did my dad sound weird to you on the phone when we called to tell him about me moving in with you? Sure, he gave the typical dad response, but he sounded, I don’t know, distracted. Do you think everything’s okay?” A horrible thought jumped into my head. “Oh, shit, Eli. What if the kidnappers had him? He may have been trying to give me a signal or something. When did he check in last?”
Eli chuckled as he buckled the strap to the helmet beneath my chin. “The kidnappers do not have your dad. He’s checking in regularly. His assignment is turning out to be…stressful.”
With a snort, I countered, “Whatever. My dad definitely has experience dealing with spoiled brats. He did raise me, you know.”
He climbed on and I quickly wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head against his hard wall of back muscle.
“Your dad is doing fine. Jinx is just a handful. Hopefully he’ll be home in a couple more weeks. You ready, angel?”
I let one arm drop lower so my hand could cup his junk as we drove. It was kinda my thing. “I’m always ready when I’m with you.”

Eli
Having Ari’s arms wrapped around me as we pulled into our parking garage was a dream come true. His heat pressed against me as he snuggled as close as humanly possible. My heart felt so damn happy. All my dreams were coming true and reality was even better than my fantasies. As soon as Landon returned home, I planned on asking for his blessing to ask Ari to marry me. Without the prospect of someone trying to kidnap the man I love, my life would be nothing short of perfection.
Kidnapping—that was a hell of a cloud to have hanging over someone, though.
We’d all searched for anything in Landon or Ari’s background that might be linked to the to abduction attempts but nothing had surfaced yet. There had been a few questionable assholes on Landon’s list, but we’d cleared them fairly quickly. After that, we had nothing. Absolutely nothing.
But none of us would have any peace until the threat was removed.
One thing was for certain—when I found them, I’d kill them. When I was finished, Ari would never have to worry about them again. Damn fuckers…Ari was mine.
My body must have tensed in fury just from thinking about it because Ari’s arms tightened around me and he gave my crotch a friendly pat and cuddle. The worry that had clouded my mind started to disappear just from a simple touch from him. The power and control he held over me would scare some people, but it made me feel warm and fuzzy…all fucking over. Yeah, I might be the Dom, but I was properly whipped when it came to my man.
I cut the engine, dropped the kickstand, and climbed off the bike. With one tug, I had Ari in my arms and tossed over my shoulder. He yelped in surprise, but I ignored him and focused on getting the security code punched in for the penthouse elevator. He spent a few seconds wiggling and squirming, a few more seconds removing his helmet and dropping it to the floor, and then he crammed both his hands down my jeans and squeezed my ass cheeks.
Grinning from ear to ear, I knew what was coming next. He’d started hinting around a couple days ago that he might want to fuck me. I was good with that. I didn’t usually bottom, but I’d do anything for Ari. Just as I expected, his finger made a path down my crease and nudged at my hole. I gave his ass a hard slap, causing another yelp.
“Ouch!” he yelled, then giggled. “Wait, I liked it. Never mind. Continue with what you’re doing and I’ll continue with what I’m doing.”
When the elevator doors slid open, he spent a few more minutes making out with me and acting silly before I finally placed his feet on the floor. I grabbed up his helmet. “Your helmet, angel.”
“Why do I have to wear a helmet, but you don’t?” he pouted.
“Because I said so.” We stepped off the elevator, ready to begin our new life together, but instead of stuff fairy tales were made of, I had to tuck Ari behind me and pull a gun. Three men stood outside my door and a person wouldn’t have to have any training to see they were heavily armed. Their suits, expensive and tailor made to fit each of them, didn’t properly hide the bulge of their weapons. Keeping my gun aimed at them, I took two steps backward, pushing Ari back onto the elevator. “Ari, activate your watch, take the elevator down, and disappear. I’ll handle this.”
He activated his watch but that was it…just as I suspected. I was going to spank his ass until he couldn’t sit down for a week!
“I most certainly will not go downstairs and leave you up here with these…these…bullies!”
Bullies? Shit, I really needed to teach him how to threaten someone better when this was over.
“I believe you boys are trespassing,” I said. “The safest thing for you to do is walk right out on that balcony and jump over the ledge. I don’t take kindly to people that try to hurt my man…and you people have done it twice now.” The situation was a bit odd—none of them had reached for their weapons.
The smaller of the three stepped forward and said, “It’s nice to finally meet you in person, Mr. Wallace. You’ve made my men appear quite…incompetent. If you aren’t happy with your current position, I’d love to have you in my organization.”
He had a Russian accent. Not good.
“Fuck you.”
Instead of striking back at me or continuing to play at whatever game he’d been attempting with his eerily polite conversation, a sad expression crossed his face. His men, on the other hand, looked at me like they would welcome the opportunity to rip me into pieces and feed my body parts to animals. They were welcome to try.
“Please, Mr. Wallace, hear me out before making any decisions. I have a business proposal for you both.” Before I could tell him what to do with his proposal, he continued talking. “I’ll be the first to admit that perhaps I haven’t handled things the proper American way. That’s my mistake, and I’m willing to make the ultimate sacrifice if you can forgive it. It’s just that,” he took a deep, nervous breath, “I’m in desperate need of something that only Ari has…or may have.”
“Again, fuck you.”
Focused on my three adversaries, I didn’t notice that Ari had moved from the safe spot behind me. One minute he was safe and the next he was standing next to me, glaring at the three men like they really were nothing more than bullies, instead of Russian mafia like I feared they were.
“What i
n the hell could you possibly want from me?” Ari snapped. “Better yet, what in the hell could you possibly want from me that you couldn’t have picked up a phone, dropped a letter in the mail, or sent an email for—instead of trying to have me kidnapped?”
“Get behind me, angel,” I ordered.
At the same time I spoke, the man said, “You are so much like him—the beauty and the fire.” He smiled. “His eyes are closer to blue than green, but your features are identical. Seeing you makes me happy and saddens me at the same time. It’s a strange combination and I’m not sure how to handle my feelings.” He laughed sadly. “I’ve been like that so much lately. I’ve lived my life having everything a person could possibly want. Money, I thought, could buy you happiness. I’ve found out the hard way that it isn’t so. All the money in the world is useless if you can’t protect the ones you love.”
And now we were in the twilight zone. What. The. Fuck?
“Who are we talking about?” I demanded. “Stop talking in fucking riddles. Tell us what you’re after and get the hell out of here.”
“Your brother, Ari. You look like your brother.”
“Brother?” Ari and I asked at the same time.
“I don’t have a brother,” Ari countered. “That’s absolutely ridiculous. My father would have told me. If my mother had another child…it has nothing to do with me. I never met her and I don’t care to meet her now. End of story.”
The man’s eyes turned an icy gray. “It isn’t the end of the story, Arizona. It can’t be. You not only have a brother, but he’s your twin…and he’ll die soon if you don’t agree to a bone marrow transplant for him. It’s his last hope. I can give you more money than your heart could ever desire. Name your price. Anything.”
