To move your business from where it is now (departure) to where you want it to be (destination), you need a Methodical Action Plan (MAP). Just as a geographical map gives you geographic direction, a business map will help you get business direction.

Without a MAP for your business, it will be very difficult to move your business successfully to a new destination in the future. Since none of us has been to the future, we all need maps to get from here to there successfully.

One person's map might differ from another's, depending on each person's destination. How do you obtain a map?

To obtain a MAP for your business, you need to know where you are going (destination) and where you are now (departure). If you do not know your departing address and destination, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get direction.

Many are waiting for God to give them direction, but they have not devoted the time to evaluate where they are now (departure) and where they want to be (destination).

When you know your departure and destination, it is very easy to obtain a map. If you doubt what I am saying, please find out more by visiting mapquest.com.

When you get there, enter your departing address (point A) and your destination (point B) and click on "get directions." The system will generate a map for you, and if you follow the map, you will move from where you are (departure) to where you are going (destination) successfully. Ask yourself these very important questions:

x Where is your business now? Departure.

x Where do you want it to be in the next 12 months? Destination. Now develop a plan of action to move from where you are now to where you want to be in 12 months. Maybe you are currently generating $100,000, $1,000,000 or $100,000,000 per year, and you want to increase your annual revenue by 20% in the next 12 months. Develop a plan of action that will enable you to increase your annual revenue by 20%. Submit your business MAP (methodical action plan) to God in prayer and start to follow it. As you move from departure to destination, God will show you some roads to avoid or lead you to take some roads you were not aware of before you started the journey.

“Thus saith the L ORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” – Isaiah 48:17 KJV

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs3:5-6NIV

“ May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in

love and founded securely on love,

  That you may have the

  power and be strong to

apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it].”

  — Ephesians 3:17-18 AMP

  MODULE 5

THE 4 ADVANCED SYSTEMS THAT NEVER FAIL

Now that we have covered the three foundational pillars of The Business System That Never Fails and how to cement them together, let me share with you the advanced business systems that will skyrocket your business to consistent growth.

“And God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:28 AMP

This was the first instruction God gave to mankind after creating them in His image, found in verse 27 of the same chapter. Interestingly, the first instruction God gave to man was a business instruction. The four advanced business systems that never fail come from Genesis 1:28. Let's briefly explore each of them:

  1. Production System When God blessed man, He said, “Be fruitful.” To be fruitful means to be productive. Fruitfulness means turning a seed into fruit. However, you cannot produce fruit without seeds. In the context of business, you cannot grow a fruitful business without identifying the seeds within you.

A seed always come from God. Your seed is your gift. Every human on earth was born preloaded with gifts or talents. All you have to do is identify your gifting and deploy it.

Turn your gift into a product or service. Your seed can also be an idea. I have not met a single person in the world that does not have an idea. All you have to do is to turn your idea into a product or service.

For example, the book you are reading is an idea that God gave me. If I did not develop the idea into a book, it would not benefit anybody. When He gave me the idea (the seed), I decided to develop it into a product (a book).

Since God has given me many ideas, and He gave me the gift of wisdom and teaching, I have established a production system to turn ideas into products and services so that I can bless my customers. What happens when you produce a product or service? The next system will answer that question.

  2. Multiplication System After God commanded Adam to be fruitful, the next thing He told him was, “Multiply.” To run a business that never fails; you must have a multiplication, duplication or reproduction system in place.

Let's go back to our example above. When I wrote this book, I did it in such a way that it was easy for the book to be reproduced or multiplied into many more copies. I can also turn the book into different formats, such as digital or audio, to make it easy for my customers to use it.

Caution: If you create a product or service that cannot be multiplied or reproduced, or that is not scalable, your business will fail. How scalable is your business idea? For your business to succeed and grow, you must be able to multiply your products and services.

However, simply producing a product or service and multiplying it is not enough for success. That is why God gave the next instruction: “Fill the earth.”

  3. Distribution System You can only ‘fill the earth’ when you have a good distribution system. Going back to our example, when I produced the book you are now reading, printed copies and turned the book into various formats, I had to distribute the book in order for it to reach you.

I am currently using various distribution channels such as Amazon.com to distribute the book. The internet makes it easy to distribute most products or services.

An efficient distribution system will use both online and offline channels to reach the maximum number of customers.

What is your current distribution system? With efficient production, multiplication and distribution systems in place, you are poised to ‘subdue’ or control a share of your market.

  4. Sustainability System After producing, multiplying and distributing, you need to have sustainable products and services for you to ‘subdue’ or control market share. You must develop a system to continuously innovate your products and services to solve more problems for your customers.

For me to continue serving my customers, I need to produce more books with different, valuable content to help my customers. This approach will enable me have a sustainable business.

What innovative products and services are you producing for your customers? When these four systems are firmly established, you can now dominate problems (NOT people) in your market or industry – thus fulfilling the dominion

“The end is always the beginning of something new.”

mandate. You were born to dominate problems, to dominate adverse circumstances.

However, before we move to the next steps, let us summarize what we have covered.

Summary The rate of business failures is too high and it is not good for the economy. The high rate of failure has caused instability and insecurity in the economy. This dismal situation has caused many business professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners to give up hope.

However, there is a system that has stood the test of time. This system never fails. It is God’s system, and He has an excellent track record of success.

Considering that God is a spiritual being, does it mean s
pirituality and business go hand-in-hand? Yes. There are many examples to validate this fact.

The apostle Paul, who was used by God to write about two-thirds of the New Testament, was also in the business of tent-making.

Abraham loved God, he was very spiritual and he was a great businessman. They all used God’s business system, which is predictable and stable.

What is the foundation of The Business System That Never Fails? The foundation of The Business System That Never Fails can be summed up in one principle—the principle of LOVE. In other words The Business System That Never Fails is based on one commandment—the commandment of LOVE. It is based on the most powerful law on earth and in heaven—the law of LOVE.

“ Love never fails...” - 1 Corinthians 13:8. Love in this context is agape love - the God kind of love. (Agape is the Greek word for selfless love, as used in the original Biblical texts).

The three foundational pillars of love are:

Loving God requires you to invest quality time and to develop a relationship with Him, because God is the source of all resources. He is the centerpiece of this system. Just as a detached branch cannot produce fruit, you cannot succeed and be fulfilled without God.

Loving yourself requires you to value who you are and to invest time to develop yourself spiritually, mentally and physically. To remain relevant, consistent personal development is a must.

Loving your customers requires you to invest quality time to develop relationships with your customers, to know their problems and to provide solutions in the form of products and services.

When you love God, love yourself and love your customer, then everybody wins. Your relationship with God empowers you to receive and develop ideas into solutions in the form of products and services.

The more value you provide for your customers, the more loyal and satisfied the customers will become. Customer loyalty increases profitability. This is an amazing win-win-win situation. Love never fails.

As we come to the end of this book, you are about to start experiencing a new thing in your life and business. You might be thinking, “Benson, where do I start?” Here are some simple steps for you to take.

  Immediate Steps

  Step 1: Receive Forgiveness

God loves you so much and wants to be in close relationship with you. He wants you to succeed in life and business. To strengthen your relationship with God, ask Him to forgive you for what you have done wrong in life. Ask Him to forgive you for being too busy to invest time with Him. Ask Him to forgive you for trying to succeed in life and business your own way.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9 NIV

When you ask God for forgiveness, you will receive it. I want you to understand that once you ask God for forgiveness, He forgives you immediately and He remembers your sins no more.

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” – Psalm 103:12 NIV

Do not condemn yourself for past mistakes. Once you have committed the situation into God’s hands, be assured that He has forgiven you.

Step 2: Forgive Yourself As mentioned above, stop beating yourself up for previous mistakes. Stop thinking you are not good enough. He wants you to be free of condemnation. God wants to use you and your business to change the world.

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” – Romans 8:1-2 NIV

Do not allow your past mistakes to hold you back. God is doing a new thing in your life. Be determined to move forward. Take bold steps and allow God to use you.

Step 3: Forgive your customer “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” – Matthew 6:14-15 NIV

Forgiveness is the highest demonstration of love. So long as you live, people are going to offend you. Customers will offend you, and your competition will offend you. Make up your mind to forgive them as a demonstration of your love. Think about how many times you have sinned against God and how He has forgiven you each time. When you forgive, it liberates both you and the person who offended you.

My ups and downs I was born in a Christian home. As a child, I went to church and tried to keep the rules. I was very shy and I looked innocent, but in private, I did some things that were not good. This double standard of living troubled me, and I was always laden with guilt. I did not know what to do to experience freedom. I found myself doing things that I did not like doing.

This struggle continued until 1990 when I heard a message about the love of God. At the end of the message, the preacher gave an invitation to anyone who wanted to accept God’s love. I stood up and accepted God’s love. I asked Him to forgive me of my sins and to help me to follow Him.

Here is a sample of the simple prayer I prayed that day: “Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me even while I was still a sinner. I accept your love for me and I want to follow you. Forgive me of my sins and help me to be a faithful follower. I believe in my heart and therefore I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. Thank you for saving me. Amen.”

When I prayed that simple but profound prayer in 1990, the burden of guilt was lifted off my shoulders, and my life has never been the same again.

I have experienced many challenges, many ups and downs, but God has always been faithful to help me overcome them. The first time I started reading the Bible, it was difficult to understand, but I kept asking the Holy Spirit to give me understanding. There have been times in my life when I was too busy to invest time with God. I thank God that He has been merciful to make me understand that investing time with Him is for my good. To be honest with you, without the help of God, I would not have been able to accomplish anything worthwhile.

There have been moments when I have struggled to figure out how God wants to use me in the business world. I noticed that those moments of struggles are usually moments when I stop trusting God.

By the special grace of God, he has helped me to receive his love and forgiveness. I have forgiven myself for my past mistakes, and the love of God has compelled me to forgive those who have offended me both in my family and in the business environment.

Several years ago, I was seriously offended at work and it was very difficult for me to forgive. The root of bitterness was in my heart for several months as I struggled with the situation. With God’s help, I realized forgiveness was for my good. I forgave the individuals who seriously offended me and I began to experience tremendous peace and freedom.

God can help you too when you trust in Him. Surrender everything to Him and experience a new level of freedom and victory in your life and business. Yes, you can do it. Allow love to be your motivation.

Love Motivation You can change the world with the power of love. You can love God, you can love yourself, and you can love your customers and competitors. You can start that business—yes you can grow your business to the next level.

You can make more, spend less and increase your profits. You can change the world through your business. Together, we can conquer poverty using The Business System That Never Fails.

"At the moment of death we will not be judged according to the number of good deeds we have done or the diplomas we have received in our Lifetime. We will be judged according to the love we have put into our work." – Mother Theresa

Three Important Questions At the end of life, ONLY three questions will matter:

  1. Did you love God? 2. Did you love yourself?

  3. Did you love your customer? You don’t have to wait until the end of life to answer these three questions. Every day before you go to bed, ask yourself these three questions:

  1. Did I love God today?

  2. Did I love myself today?

  3. Did
I love my customer today?

In any given day, if your answer is no to any of the questions, ask the Holy Spirit to help you receive the love that has been poured into your heart so you can love yourself and your customer. The Holy Spirit is your best helper.42

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” – Romans 5:5 NIV

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
