The door of the elevator opened and four reptilians stepped out of it, first a young and pretty girl, followed by three mates, two men, and another woman. They arrived at a semicircle-shaped grand room, where several reptilians were working in front of 3D screens behind a counter. There were two elevators behind them, guarded by armed soldiers. The girl walked to one of the workers behind the counter and started talking to him on that strange hissing language.

"I have permission for a surface flight for today and I'd like to verify that," she handed him a crystallized green card.

"Sure, I'll check it," he answered.

He put the card into a machine and pushing a few signs on the holographic screen, he soon handed it back.

"Everything is fine, your permission is valid. It is for 5 persons, but there are only 4 of you.

"Well, one of us had something urgent to do and he cannot join us."

  "No problem, you just go."

The girl nodded to the humans to let them know, that everything was fine. They headed towards the elevators on the other side, where Rokina put the green card into a machine. Different signs were appearing on the small screen, then the door opened. The guards stepped aside and let them enter. Everybody felt relieved.

"You were doing a great job, nobody suspected anything," the girl said.

"We were too scared to talk," Agnessa replied, still nervously.

"If we pass the next checkpoint, we can relax. The next destination is the aircraft hangar, where the spaceships are stored. It takes a while to get there as it is very close to the surface."

Meanwhile, somewhere in the city, a tall and thin man bandaged the wound on his shoulder, but it was still bleeding. He felt terrible pain. The smell of burnt meat filled the room. He slowly approached the broken window and peeked out. The soldiers were brainstorming confusedly on how to attack the house, as they lost both of their military machines. Exploiting this opportunity of perplexity, Roger aimed at one of them and fired a fusillade. The last bullet broke through the victim's shield and hit him in the chest. He screamed of pain and fell on the ground.

The others immediately started to shoot the house ruthlessly. Roger knew they were going to tear down the house, it was only a matter of time. He suddenly felt a stabbing pain from the back, around his kidneys. There was someone standing behind him, holding a blade in his hand. He turned around and there was the scar-face reptilian, with despise and vengeance burning in his eyes.

Roger lifted his weapon weakly, but he flipped it out of his hand and hit him on the chin. He fell on the ground, his heart was beating fast, there was blood pouring out from his wound, making a puddle around his body. The soldiers broke into the apartment and stood around him. Pyrat wiped the blood off the knife.

"I'll take care of this, get the other three!" he commanded the soldiers anxiously.

Roger's sight was getting blurry as the last ounce of his strength was about to be gone. His body was giving up the fight and his last thoughts circled around his friends.

"This is for attacking me human. Did you really think you can get away from me? The others will end up just like you that is for sure," the reptilian leaned over him.

"They are far away, you will never catch them," the man replied with a weak voice.

He was panting for breath and after a last, big sigh, he was staring with the soldiers around him with a blank look. His anguished body gave up the fight, there was no harm to be done in him anymore.

"Everybody search for them, don't let anybody leave until we find the humans!" Pyrat shouted to the guardians.
