International Banker, Beach Boy Page 9

by Mia Terry

The fear of not being able to save the man, save Lucas as they now knew him, was perhaps the strongest fear Ollie had ever felt in his life. They’d battled through every moment of the rescue, and Ollie still felt slightly sick when he thought about all that could have gone wrong. Some other surfers may have eventually helped, but Ollie knew he and Rhys were the only ones who could have got that man to shore as quickly as they did. Even with both of them, it almost hadn’t happened. Lucas’s limp body had been so hard to get on the board and keep there. Only Rhys’s sheer strength and skill had kept the body from ending up floating in the water again. Ollie’s admiration for the man only grew.

Hunger had Ollie easing his way out of Rhys’s comforting grasp. He’d only grabbed a croissant on his way out the door this morning, and by his count that had been about eight hours ago. Luckily, he’d remembered to text the boys after the rescue. He hadn’t told them exactly what had happened, just that he was going to spend the day with Rhys. God knew that what they would be imagining would be far more X-rated than the reality of Ollie puttering around Rhys’s extremely well-provisioned kitchen.

Rhys’s place wasn’t what Ollie had imagined even after dropping him off here the day before. In his head, he’d imagined more of a single guys shack situation. Instead, Rhys’s house was beautifully crafted with white walls and gleamingly polished timber floors. An architect’s touch was obvious in the flow between the kitchen and the living room. The sofas were low, looked comfortable, and all matched. The indigenous art on the walls had obviously been collected with a certain amount of intention. All the seating looked out the hefty glass walls to the valley below, and once Ollie finished making the egg and bacon sandwiches, he intended to curl up in one of the comfortable chairs and take in the view.

Ollie turned at the sound of movement behind him.

“I was going to come and wake you up as soon as I’d prepared our afternoon breakfast,” Ollie said, a little awkwardly.

“Waking up to the smell of bacon is always a good omen,” Rhys replied.

“Let’s hope our bacon sandwiches taste as good as they smell. I have to admit I haven’t made them many times before,” said Ollie, as he constructed the toast, egg and bacon towers.

He really wasn’t going to admit how rarely the preparation of breakfast foods came his way. During the week, pouring muesli was more his thing and his weekend breakfasts were mainly spent at cafes, and he certainly wasn’t going to admit any breakfasts spent with his family at home often involved staff there to take care of any breakfast order.

Luckily, what he put on the plate in front of Rhys looked better than edible and once they had got themselves comfortable, they quickly devoured the food without many words between them. It had been long enough since his last proper meal that to Ollie this was possibly one of the best sandwiches he had ever eaten.

“Is it wrong that this bacon tastes better than any of that beautifully prepared, fancy food last night?” Rhys asked when his plate was completely empty.

“Not wrong, but I don’t know how loudly you should say that, considering your mother’s ingredients were in a fair bit of the meal.”

They shared a smile. He didn’t know how long they stood there until the ringing of Rhys’s phone had Rhys turning away.

“Hi Aaron,” said Rhys, and that was enough for Ollie to drop any pretense of not listening in.

Rhys’s audible exhale could have covered a multitude of scenarios, as could the rest of his conversation. “Thank you for telling me…Let me know if you hear anything else.”

Ollie waited on edge, as Rhys hung up the phone.

He must have looked as worried as he felt because as soon as Rhys looked up at him, Rhys blurted out the words, “It’s good. He woke up for a short while and he spoke. Both the spinal and the brain scans looked okay.”

Ollie had to blink his eyes rapidly at the news before he pumped his fist. Relief and joy mixed, leaving him almost euphoric. It took only a glance at Rhys to tell he felt the same. “I didn’t think we’d really be getting that particular phone call,” Ollie admitted.

“Me neither,” confessed Rhys. “I was preparing myself for the other call. But we actually did save him.”

At Rhys words, Ollie took a breath that finally went down to the bottom of his lungs. Since the moment they had heard the screaming in the surf, his chest had tightened. The young guy, with his stupid reckless friends who had seemed so upset, would be okay. There might be some recovery time, but a young life hadn’t been snuffed out.

Rhys wrapping his arms tightly around Ollie felt exactly right. Ollie loved the closeness of their euphoria, loved the feeling of Rhys holding him so strongly and possessively. Rhys’s dick hardening against his own pushed his euphoria higher, but Ollie felt he should start some sort of conversation about the circumstances.

“Should we really start this based on a traumatic experience,” Ollie asked.

“This would happen anyway and today I’m basing it on joy,” Rhys replied.

As any further conversation was lost to the feel of Rhys’s mouth on his own, Ollie let his groan of pleasure be his assent. The way Rhys nibbled on his lips was definitely a joy. Even better was the way the man’s now rock-hard cock was riding his thigh.

Their lips eventually separated, both of them breathing heavily from the arousal sparking between their bodies.

“Come to bed with me?” Rhys asked, or maybe ordered.

In another man, the bossy tone in Rhys’s voice might have annoyed Ollie. Today, he just followed him back to the bedroom. He wanted to be here; he’d wanted to be in here last night. He was just glad all Rhys’s doubts seemed to have fallen by the wayside. Rhys was right, this wasn’t a seduction of either party, this was a celebration of joy. And watching Rhys strip off his shirt as he stood next to his own bed, Ollie couldn’t imagine anything else more joyful.

Ollie mirrored his movement and stripped off his borrowed t-shirt. He couldn’t get enough of the possessive way Rhys’s gaze looked over him, as if he was committing every detail to memory. He was doing much the same thing himself. Rhys’s body had small scars, but it was the hard masculinity of Rhys’s muscular tight body that had Ollie almost tearing off his own pants in eagerness.

Ollie’s dick bumped his stomach. It was hard and the head was wet with pre. He was used to male beauty and for more than the last decade hadn’t had to make much of an effort to attract anyone he wanted, but tonight his body was more eager than it had been since he was a teenager. The way Rhys couldn’t stop looking at his dick, as he pulled his own pants off, had Ollie’s balls tightening.

Completely bare, it was only a matter of a few steps before the two men were tangled, skin-to-skin, and falling back onto Rhys’s bed.

Ollie pushed and pulled and ended up with Rhys below him. That allowed him to put his mouth to Rhys’s chest and lick and suck at his nipples. When Rhys shuddered below him and Ollie could feel just that extra bit of dampness against his hip, he knew he’d hit a hot spot. Encouraged, the sucking turned into a gentle bite and Ollie had to hold Rhys down as he almost elevated off the bed.

“Too much,” Rhys said huskily. “I want to play too.”

With that, he muscled Ollie over onto his back, even as Ollie protested. “Hey, I was trying to give you sex worthy of a hero.”

Rhys laughed, obviously high on the endorphins of attraction and relief. “You’re a hero too, so I have to give you a bit of what you like as well.”

Ollie would have protested about both the hero thing and the losing control of the sex thing, but at that moment Rhys started nibbling at his neck, and any words that may have come out of his mouth were lost to a low groan. He even grabbed Rhys’s head and held it there. A beautiful guy, who he’d wanted for days, worshiping his neck; yeah it didn’t get much better than that. Well, in about thirty seconds, Ollie knew he was going to want more, but for now just this moment where their naked bodies met and Rhys bit him hard, this had a heady dreamlike qua
lity to it that he didn’t want to lose.

“Another thing to put on the list of things we have in common, we both have vampire-like tendencies,” Ollie murmured, when he got his breath back after Rhys started gentling his mouth’s touch on his neck.

“And we both seem to like the being marked stuff as well.”

Ollie almost said what was on the tip of his tongue, “not with other men.” However, he managed to restrain himself. Not only was it pretty tacky to talk about other men while in bed with a new partner, he didn’t want to expose too much of himself. Normally he’d never let another man mark him like that, and it would never normally make him edge dangerously close to orgasm. Rhys lit him up with his touch, and all the little rules Ollie had about sex seemed to go out the window.

When Rhys started moving down his body, Ollie took his hands from where they had been clutched on Rhys’s head and instead fisted his hands in the cotton sheets. Rhys nipped his mouth on a rib or two and came close to, but didn’t touch Ollie’s cock, which was leaking and crimson with arousal on Ollie’s abs.

Ollie flinched under Rhys's mouth when the man ran his tongue along the upper crease of his thigh. He was so turned on that this particular sensual pleasure almost felt like pain.

“Are you trying to torture me now?” Ollie asked.

Rhys looked up from where he seemed to be concentrated on breathing in Ollie’s essence. “I’m enjoying myself and then I’m going to try to convince you to let me fuck you.”

“No convincing needed. Although you bloody better have some lube.”

Ollie almost regretted his words when Rhys leaned away from him to rummage through the bedside table. The loss of warmth allowed Ollie to think about exactly how long it had been since he had bottomed for anyone. Not only had it been a while since he’d been with anyone at all sexually, it had been much longer since he’d bottomed. It was a trust thing for Ollie, so it wasn’t something he allowed for himself in casual encounters.

When Rhys came back with lube and a condom in hand and resettled himself on Ollie’s skin, Ollie forced out the breath he’d been holding.

Rhys tongued at his balls and Ollie had to consciously remind himself to breathe. Showing the kind of physical multitasking that had obviously contributed to his success as a professional athlete, Ollie could hear Rhys clicking open the lube at the same time as he took Ollie’s other ball into his mouth.

“It’s been a second, so you’ll need to go a little slow,” Ollie warned when his body had adjusted enough to the pleasure to allow him to speak.

As if Rhys knew exactly how much Ollie had understated the time since he’d last had anyone play with his ass, his movements at first were achingly languid. Rhys traced a finger around the rim, activating all those nerve endings in the best way and making Ollie involuntarily thrust his hips forward.

“Next time, when I’m not as desperate, I will open you up this way with my tongue,” Rhys promised.

The thought of that—of Rhys down there, doing that—was almost more than Ollie could bear. He had to make a concerted effort not to release a groan, which would have undoubtedly revealed how desperate Rhys’s words made him feel. Instead he allowed his legs to fall further open, allowing Rhys better access to push his finger inside. Rhys prepped him, one finger became a rather more uncomfortable two, until the slight pain turned pleasurable with a clever turn of Rhys’s wrist.

“I’m ready, I’m ready,” Ollie protested, trying not to be too ashamed at the slight whine in his voice.

When Rhys removed his fingers, Ollie wanted them back almost immediately, he felt suddenly empty without them. Rhys must have felt the same desperation because there was a slight shake in his hands as he pulled on a condom.

Rhys’s cock was a good size. Bigger than most, and well-shaped with only the slightest bend, but not so huge as to worry Ollie about how it would fit in him. However, when it actually entered him, Ollie did seriously wonder if his ass was going to accept it. This all seemed a tighter fit than he remembered. Rhys was patient, keeping up only the slightest pressure and when he bent down and bit on Ollie’s neck again, Ollie’s body opened and accepted him in. The gentle thrusts forward and back, as Rhys worked himself the rest of the way in, scraped almost painfully against Ollie’s nerve endings, but he would have protested in the loudest voice if Rhys had stopped. In this moment, Ollie was completely present, completely in his own body, just looking up at Rhys’s beautiful face that was currently glazed over with both pleasure and concentration.

By the time Rhys was completely balls deep in him, the discomfort had turned into pleasure, and all Ollie wanted to do was beg him to go harder. Only the last remnants of his inbuilt reserves stopped him putting this almost overwhelming impulse into words.

Luckily for his pride, just as he was about to beg, Rhys started moving with real intent. When Rhys’s cock shoved against his prostate, Ollie keened his approval.

“So good, so good,” came flooding out of his mouth.

His words seemed to unleash something in Rhys. His control unraveled and his thrusts became more powerful. It was like riding out the storm, and all Ollie could do was lie back and accept the pleasure being rained down on his body through Rhys’s powerful thrusts.

His orgasm began to build and all that spilled from his mouth now was low groans of absolute satisfaction.

A squeeze of a hand on his dick and suddenly Ollie was spilling his orgasm all over both of their abdomens. That splash of wet satisfaction set something in Rhys off, and he was following Ollie into the abyss with more hard thrusts, both of them riding out their pleasure long after it should have subsided.

“So, we didn’t go slow,” Ollie said, stating the obvious as he shifted against the bed, his ass a little sore, but the general satisfaction in his body overcoming any minor discomfort. “I’m not complaining obviously, but are you cool with what we did there?”

Ollie wanted to say it was the best sex he had ever had, but he didn’t want to scare off Rhys, or even spook himself by putting it into words. Now the immediacy of his orgasm was wearing off, all Ollie’s rules were coming back into place and he was suddenly a little embarrassed he had given over control so absolutely.

“How could anyone complain about that,” Rhys leaned over and kissed Ollie’s shoulder absently. “We did a good thing today. It was scary as hell, but we did it. We saved someone and we’re all alive. We deserved that.”

“Do we have to be involved in a lifesaving effort for that to happen again?” Ollie asked, only half-jokingly. “Because I’m prepared to start patrolling the beaches if that’s the only way I can get you to fuck me.”

Rhys chuckled. “I think the actual lifesavers might have a problem with you stealing all the clients. So, in the interests of surf community harmony, I might just have to keep on having sex with you without the whole life-threatening lead-up.”

“The sacrifices heroes have to make. When you’re putting in for the citizen of the year award, you can tell them you continued to have sex with me for the sake of the community,” Ollie grabbed on to the lighter tone of the conversation and pushed his emotions down. He had almost cried after they came, and he was damned well determined not to be that guy.

  Chapter 8

Rhys looked over at Ollie and figured today had turned out considerably better than he would have guessed a few hours before. There was a man in his bed who looked like a Ralph Lauren model and still smelt like fabulously energetic sex. And on the slightly less shallow side, Ollie had shown amazing presence of mind and courage in helping him rescue a man earlier today.

“And now we’ve fucked ourselves stupid,” Rhys said. “Do you just want to fall back asleep?”

Normally Rhys was considerably more energetic, but there was something rather tempting about staying in this cocoon with Ollie. Unfortunately, Ollie seemed to have other ideas if the purpose with which he was sitting up was any indication.

“I’d better face my phone,” Ollie said, swingi
ng his legs over the side of the bed. “I sent a quick message to the guys earlier today, but if I stay disappeared any longer, I’m a little afraid of what they’ll do to me when they hunt me down.”

Rhys might be complaining about a man leaving his bed if the view of Ollie’s naked body framed in the doorway was any less spectacular. And now he’d actually been in that beautiful ass, he couldn’t help what was a probably less than honorable feeling of pride. Also helpful was the fact that Ollie turned and asked, “Do you want to join me in the shower? Our third shower together has surely got to be a lot more fun if we’re allowed to touch.”

He wasn’t wrong about the fun factor. Ollie’s tanned skin gleamed when wet, and the man was surprisingly tactile now their physical boundaries had been lowered. After being in bed with him, Rhys now knew Ollie’s large capacity for pleasure. What was a little more unexpected was the ability to make Rhys laugh.

All it took was Ollie’s rather cheeky suggestion that as he’d been the one to make Ollie sore, it was up to him to make good. In a less than subtle move, Ollie had turned and leant face-first against the shower wall. His edible ass was tipped back at a very appealing and accessible angle.

Rhys knew he could take the coward’s way out and provide a gentle massage. It would be pleasurable to them both, he’d get to touch Ollie’s lovely ass again, and everyone would walk away pleased. Or he could do what he’d longed to do and see if he could get Ollie to lose his mind.

So, he’d gotten to his knees and put his tongue to work on Ollie’s hole and been rewarded with some of the sexiest sounds he’d ever heard come out of Ollie’s mouth.

Rhys walked into his room and instantly knew he’d be freeze-framing the memory of Ollie wrapped in his bath towel leaning against the wide French doors to the deck. Few men got an invitation to Rhys’s house, and while none of his previous lovers had been by any description ugly, they had certainly not been Ollie with his easy beauty and perfect cheekbones. However, instead of taking in the view of the rolling hills highlighted tonight by a setting sun, Ollie was distracted by his phone.
