I am a man of science. I have never seen any conflict between science and God. There are miracles of science and medicine which I see as ultimately gifts from God. God created everything including the amazing things we discover every day. Yet, no matter how wonderful God made our infinite universe they create for themselves benevolent aliens who somehow are never detected but planted life here on earth which became us, somehow. It does not pass the science or even the faith test. It is just a fantasy they wish to induce the rest of us to accept.
Now I grew up with the landings on the moon, Skylab, the Viking Missions and a whole assortment of firsts leading up to the shuttle era. I would ask my mother if she believed there was the possibility of life elsewhere. Her answer was simple. If they did exist God had made them too. In that simple answer was a world of faith and trust in God.
Could Jesus’ other flocks include life on other planets? Sure, why not? In some future hardly imaginable, we could visit a planet where other beings exist and be shocked to understand they know the Word of God too. I say let them have their aliens and I will keep my God. How disappointed they will be on the last day.
