He would have loved to savor her, taste every inch of her, and soon, he would. But not tonight. Now he needed to be inside her and claim his mate like the beast she’d reduced him to.
“Please, I need you inside me now,” she begged, shredding the rest of his self-control.
Vale flipped Devi onto her back. He opened his breeches, pulled out his thick length, and plunged it in her heat, his mouth seeking hers and muffling her shriek of pleasure as he pulled in and out of her tight pussy over and over. His vision blurred. All the sounds coming out of them were wild and frantic. He was so very close to the edge, but he’d take her with him when he came, even if it killed him.
His right thumb found her clit and his left hand massaged her breast. Vale sucked on her ear, teased the sensitive bundle of nerves at the apex of her thighs, and caressed her chest until she clenched, impossibly tightening around him. Then, finally, she let go with a mindless scream, and her release triggered his.
He kissed her shoulder, and her neck, and her mouth, keeping her in his arms until the night ended.
One night of love. Tomorrow, there would be war.

The End
May Sage writes various series and prioritize those with a high number of review and ratings. If you enjoy Court of Sin and want book three to be scheduled soon, don’t forget to review book one and two.
Afterword
Oh my god, I’m so, so sorry for breaking so many hearts. I promise I had to do it. Like, literally, that was planned from the very start, the term Frostbound came from binding their hearts with her ice magic. Still sorry for putting you through this! If it makes you feel better, I totally cried writing it.

I absolutely love this story. Like, I love it. You guys know how I like standalones, and shorter novels. For the first time, I’m over 110000 words into two character’s story, and I’m still as excited about it as the day I started it. I really can’t wait to share the end of Devi and Vale’s story in Song of Heaven and Ice.
(Bring tissues. Seriously.)

Also, I have to thank Theresa Schultz, without whom Alarik would be dead by now. But she made it clear she’d prefer I kill Devi rather than a dyrmount, so she saved his skin! And a good thing, too, or I would have shed way too many tears while writing this book.

Now, a little note, because I know that some of my readers read various series of mine, and have recognized some names or fact. As (most of) you know, all my stories happen in one universe, but Frostbound Throne is very, very closely linked to Strands of Starfire.
I’m not going to say a lot about it, because it wouldn’t do to give you too many clues, but Kai and Nalini will pop their head toward the end of the third book. So, if you’ve read it a while ago, you may want to reread Reign before attacking the third book in this series!

Some of my readers have asked whether the series will end at book three. The answer is no: that’s why the series name is Court of Sin, not Frostbound Throne. It will be the end of Devi and Vale’s adventures, but the series may continue. There’s a lot happening in the rest of the Isle, and I may want to explore other characters linked to Devi and Vale in future volumes.
