He was a little nervous to tell Yorkie that yes, he was actually a little afraid and intimidated by the size of Maddox and worried what would happen if he got lost while York was at work and he was out there on his own. Surely, he couldn’t stay in the apartment all the time when York was working? But maybe he could?

“What is it, precious? Please, tell me. I can’t help you if you don’t let me know what it is.”

Timmy bit his bottom lip and looked down. He didn’t want to worry his mate, or make Yorkie feel like he didn’t want to be here with him. This was Yorkie’s home and he was his mate, so this is where he belonged. “It’s okay, Yorkie. I’m okay,” he whispered while still looking down.

York placed a finger under his chin and gently lifted his head until their eyes met. “Something's not okay. I can see it in your eyes and hear it in your voice. You also bite that cute plump lip of yours when you’re nervous, and you look down. So tell me, nugget, please, so I can help.”

Timmy took a deep breath, then released it. He guessed it was time to be honest and see what happened. But there was no way he was going to lose his mate over this. He would suck it up and go walking around Maddox every day until he learned every road and building. With his mind made up and determined to get his life with his mate started, Timmy said, “Maddox is a lot bigger than anywhere I have ever lived. Me and my chimera have moved from time to time, and sometimes by big cities, but we have never lived in one. We usually stay in the outskirts where there is more freedom to move and more privacy. I was just wondering how long it was going to take me to get to know Maddox.”

York just stared at him for a moment, then pulled him close and Timmy felt that feeling of safety again. He inhaled deeply, loving the scent of sandalwood and cranberries that seemed to be his mates own unique smell. Timmy found that the scent calmed him. “Well, I know that what you just said is true, but I don’t think it’s everything.”

“It just made me think what if I get lost. That’s all,” Timmy said with a shrug and inhaled deeply again.

“First thing tomorrow we’ll go shopping for a cell phone for you and put my number in there so that you can reach me whenever you want. Well, unless I’m in the middle of fighting a fire, then it may take me some time to answer.”

Timmy pulled back all excited. “Ooh, can I have Sunny’s number too, and Pascal’s, oh, and maybe Lonny’s?”

“Of course you can, Nugget. You really like Illan, don’t you?” York asked and his voice sounded a little confused.

“Oh, yes. Lonny is such a nice man and he’s so big. And when he smiles at me, I can see that he likes me too. And he listens to me when I have something to say. I like that.”

York chuckled. “Okay, then if it is alright with…Lonny, we’ll put his number in there, too. But for now, how about we get some rest? We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow,” York said as he led Timmy back to bed.

As they climbed in under the covers with Yorkie on is back and Timmy pressed against his side with his head on Yorkie’s chest, Timmy asked, “What sort of big day?”

“First, there’s making love to you when you wake up. Then there’s another fun shower to clean you up. Breakfast. Phone shopping. Then I want to take you over to the firehouse so you can see where I work so that you will know how to get there.”

“That sounds like so much fun,” Timmy said on a yawn as his eyelids closed.

More Noise? Why is there so much noise in Maddox? I know it’s not as small as Crystal, but it’s not a big city, either. Cheese and crackers, what goes on here? Timmy thought as he came out of sleep. Blinking his eyes open, he heard the roar of what sounded like twenty or more motorcycles as if they were parked under his bedroom window. Looking toward the window, Timmy squinted as the sunlight hit his eyes. Just then all the noise stopped and everything was silent again.

“It’s okay, Nugget. It’s quiet again. Go back to sleep,” York mumbled in a sleep husky voice and pulled Timmy closer, burying his face in Timmy’s hair.

A hard cock pressed against the back of his thigh and Timmy smiled as he remembered all the delicious things that shaft could and had done to him. Timmy shimmied down a little and pushed back against the hard pole poking him, trying to get it to the place he really wanted it to be, but he was too short.

Timmy wiggled around a little more, and felt the leaking tip poke his cheek hard, just as York cried out through clenched teeth and released Timmy, rolling away. “Shit── oh.”

Timmy quickly rolled over to find his Yorkie cupping his shaft with both hands. His face was scrunched up, neck muscles bulging, and his face was turning red. “Oh, Yorkie, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. Oh fiddlesticks, fudge muffins, darn it anyhow. Let me look,” Timmy said in a panic and moved down to Yorkie’s cock. He gently moved York’s hands away from the appendage, and wrapped his tiny hand around it, then began to gently caress as he blew on it.

“Nugget,” York’s voice came out strained.

“It’s okay, Yorkie, I’ll make it feel better, I promise,” Timmy cried as he continued to stroke his mate’s shaft. He leaned in closer and blew a soft breath from base to tip.

“Nugget, I think you need to stop.”

“No, Yorkie. I know that when I get hurt, if I caress it gently and blow on it, it feels much better. Just rest and I’ll make it all better for you. Here, I’ll kiss it and make it better,” Timmy said and as light as a butterfly he kissed the tip, making it twitch.

“Oh, Nugget, you are making it so much better.”

“And I think you may actually be killing your mate with kindness there, squirt,” Timmy heard Sylux’s voice from behind him.

Timmy turned to look over his shoulder and found his all of his chimera standing there looking at him and York, and they were all snickering. Even Sunny was trying not to laugh, but Timmy could see it. “Hey, you shouldn’t be in here seeing my mate, nakie. Only I get to see that. And he’s hurt. I need to make him better, so go.”

“I have a feeling you’re making your…Yorkie, feel so good right about now,” Ozcog snickered.

“Get the hell out before I blow my dragon breath at you,” York growled.

“I think there’s enough blowing going on in this room right now,” Asbuth said with a laugh. “Come on guys, let’s go make some breakfast while we wait for these two to um…feel better.”

All his chimera laughed and poked at one another, some high-fived, as they turned and headed out of the room.

“And close the door, assholes,” York yelled out.

“Yorkie! That wasn’t very nice. You shouldn’t call my chimera brothers assholes. They may be…okay, they were being assholes,” Timmy said, then blew on York’s cock again.

York grabbed his hands and gently removed them from his cock, then grabbed Timmy’s upper arms and lifted him up until he was sitting, perched on York’s hard abs, looking down on him. “I love that you want to make me feel better, precious, and I thank you. I also know you didn’t mean to hurt me, but baby, if you rub and blow on my cock like that again, you better be prepared to either suck it, or have me explode on you.”

Timmy tilted his head as his brows furrowed and he looked at York in confusion. Suddenly, what York meant dawned on him and Timmy’s eyes opened wide and his lips made a perfect oh. He looked back over his shoulder at his Yorkie’s big, pretty cock, then back to his mate’s face. “I didn’t…I was just…Oh shucklefargin.”

York chuckled and pulled Timmy down until he lay flat on York’s solid chest. Then York wrapped his arms around Timmy’s back and leaned up, claiming his lips in a tender kiss. “I know, sweetness. Now, as much as I would love to make love to you right now, like I promised last night. I don’t think your chimera brothers out there will give us that privacy. So, let’s go wash up quick and see what they want. Once we get rid of them though, you are all mine and I will be sinking back inside this amazing ass of yours,” York growled the last part as he squeezed Timmy’s cheek
s, making him let out a little squeak before he moaned.

“Are you sure we can’t just, you know? If they see we’re not coming out, maybe they’ll go away,” Timmy said hopefully.

“Nope! Not happening, squirt, so get your cute little body covered up and bring your mate out here,” Juddan yelled from the kitchen.

“Look at my mate’s hot body again and friend or no friend, I swear I will set your ass on fire!” York threatened angrily, but only laughter came as a response from the peanut gallery in the kitchen.

“I don’t think they’re gonna go away,” Timmy said shyly.

  CHAPTER 10

Stepping out of the bedroom freshly showered and dressed, Timmy was a little disappointed that his chimera was there and he didn’t get to play with his mate in the shower like they had the night before. But, at least they did shower together, which was still wonderful. Yorkie held his hand as they made their way to the kitchen where they could hear a lot of talking and banging of pots going on.

When they stepped into the room, Timmy giggled at seeing all the big men trying to squeeze into Yorkie’s small kitchen, and didn’t know how he and Yorkie were supposed to fit too. Ozzie and Luxie were standing side by side at the counter, their shoulders bumping together as they tried to cook. Sunny, Asby, and Nunie sat at the table looking like they may break the chairs, and Qavez, Nuzie and Ju Ju were standing pressed against the wall, trying to stay out of the way, but also be a part of the conversation.

“Morning. Is everything okay now, squirt? Did you kiss Yorkie’s booboo and make it all better?” Ju Ju asked as he snickered.

Yorkie gave Juddan an evil smile as he replied, “Yes, he did. Jealous?” Yorkie walked him to the one empty seat at the table and held out the chair for him. Timmy smiled at how thoughtful his mate was. “Coffee, nugget?” Yorkie asked, before giving him a small kiss and moving away toward the counter.

“Your nugget doesn’t drink coffee, but we got you some of that Chai Tea you like, Tim man,” Ozzie said as he turned and handed Timmy a steaming cup.

He pulled the cup closer, wrapping his hands around the hot mug, and inhaling the delicious smell of his favorite tea, then he took a sip. Yummy. He loved his Chai Tea.

“Now that I know you like that, we’ll have to add shopping to our list of things to do today too, nugget. I want to make sure we have all the things you like here,” York said as he turned with a mug in his hands.

“About that,” Sunny said and waited for everyone to quiet down. Yorkie leaned his back against the little bit of counter that remained, as Ozzie and Luxie continued cooking.

“We were hoping that maybe Timmy could come with us today. We’re heading into Crystal to meet with Illan and Justice about our part in helping to keep their town safe, as we promised yesterday. We were hoping that Timothy would come along, not only to show me where I can find my crown, but as part of the chimera as well,” Sunny explained.

Timmy was so surprised to hear Sunny wanted him to ride with them. Because of his size it wasn’t very often that he got to ride along with his chimera, but he loved those times he had gotten the chance.

“Seeing as my mate’s eyes just lit up like it was Christmas morning and the Fourth of July all at the same time, I would say he’s up for going,” Yorkie said with a chuckle.

  “Can I, Yorkie?”

York twisted slightly and placed his mug on the counter, then turned back and took the two steps between them before he dropped down on one knee and took Timmy’s hand in his big ones, and gave Timmy a beautiful smile. “We’re mates, precious, you don’t need to ask my permission. If you would like to go with your chimera to Crystal then that’s fine, but I would like to come along. Not that I don’t think you all can’t keep him safe,” York was quick to add as a few growls sounded. “It’s just that our mating is so new and I had planned on spending the next three days with my mate. So, if it’s alright with everyone, I can drive Timmy over and meet you all there.”

Everyone smiled those mischievous smiles that made Timmy giggle. He knew Yorkie didn’t understand what his friends meant when they said ride with them, but his Yorkie was about to find out.

“Of course, you are very welcome to join us, York, you are a part of our family now, but we do things a little differently. You may follow us in your truck if that is okay?’ Sunny asked.

“O―kay,” York replied, but Timmy could tell he was a little confused and hesitant about Sunny’s words.

“Oh fiddlesticks. I don’t have my―” Timmy started to say worriedly, but Nuzie cut him off.

  “We got it covered, squirt.”

  * * * *

After they had a very tightly squeezed breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon in Yorkie’s small kitchen, they headed outside where Timmy was excited to see his chimera’s motorcycles all lined up at the curb. And at the end of the line was his baby, all shiny and glistening in the sun. He couldn’t wait to ride with his family again. It had been so long since he had been with them, or ridden with them. Timmy had missed them all so much.

They all mounted their bikes and got into formation with Timmy in the middle, and York pulled up his truck behind them. Once they were ready, Sunny raised his hand high and motioned it forward for them to go. The rumble of the engines filled the road, as one by one, they all began to roll forward, with Ju Ju in the lead.

After an hour ride through the mountain pass, the town of Crystal appeared in the valley and Timmy found himself getting even more excited. He really liked Crystal with its small-town feel. And he couldn’t wait to see some of his new friends, too.

  * * * *

Illan walked down main street with Justice on one side and Avery on the other, as they held hands and made their way toward Twixie's, where they were meeting the others for brunch. It was a beautiful day, with the sun shining, a light breeze, and birds singing.

As they crossed the street in front of Twixie's the serenity of the day was interrupted when a loud roar of machines cut through the air. Illan and his mates stopped to look toward the sound, as Day, Ethan, Rhys, Angelo, and Morgan joined them.

Coming up Main Street from out of town, Illan watched apprehensively as a group of motorcycles made their way closer, eating up the distance. His dragon rolled inside him, bracing for battle if this group was a threat to their mates, their family, or their town.

The bikes rolled in with a large man on the lead bike, the sun gleaming off the chrome. Two riders were behind him, side by side, then three behind them, another two behind that, and another single rider taking up the rear, with a truck coming up behind them.

Illan focused on the lead rider, his long black hair blowing behind him in the wind. As the group got closer and the rumble of the bikes echoed through the street, Jett, Zev, Finn, Marco, and Twix and others stepped out of Twixie's to see what was going on.

Dust filled the road behind them. The head rider smiled as he got closer and suddenly Illan relaxed, seeing that it was King Suneth and all his men. Illan’s eyes roamed over the others and he smiled bright as he laughed.

“It that…” Avery asked with a chuckle of his own.

“Yes, it is,” Justice replied, the smile evident in his voice.

As the bikes rode closer, Illan thought they looked like a bad ass biker gang with all those monster machines they rode, along with the leather jackets, jeans, and combat boots. But it was the purple Vespa that rode in the center of the pack, with the small rider wearing a leather jacket, a purple helmet, and goggles, smiling proud and bright, that made Illan smile.

The group pulled up before them, lining their bikes up along the curb, and Illan had to laugh when Timmy pulled his Vespa over like it was the best hog in the bunch with its pretty white and purple tassels on the ends of the handlebars. Timmy smiled at him and gave an excited wave, then pressed a button on the bar, and a very high pitched, cute little beep beep sounded, causing everyone to laugh. The truck that was following pulled up at the end of the bikes and Illan could s
ee that York was driving. Of course, the man wouldn’t want his mate out of his sight. Illan had a feeling that if Timmy were his mate, he would be afraid for the little cutie to be gone from his sight for more than a second or two.

One by one the bikes were shut down and quiet came to Crystal again. Suneth pulled his leg up and over the bike he rode and stood beside the beast as he slid his dark sunglasses up, resting them on the top of his head. Illan was impressed at the vision before him. From his meeting with the gargoyle king, he knew the man was honorable and a good ally for them to have, but the man looked fierce as he stood to his full six-foot six height all two hundred and seventy-five pounds of muscle making him look intimidating as hell.

The rest of the gargoyles dismounted their bikes, and together they looked like one of the fiercest biker gangs Illan had ever seen. Some of them bald, others with long hair, and one even had a Mohawk with blue tips. Each wore a black leather jacket and combat boots. Some wore leather pants, while other wore jeans, some with rips and tears. They were a formidable looking bunch.

And then there was Timmy. He stepped off his Vespa and pulled his purple helmet off, hanging it from the handlebars, then slid his purple goggles up, resting them on the top of his head like Suneth had with his sunglasses, but the goggles pulled his dark gray hair back and made it bunch in the back like a muffin top, while other hair stuck up in different directions.

York came up beside Timmy and slid the goggles from his head, hanging them from the handlebars as well, then smoothed Timmy’s hair down before giving him a soft kiss on the lips. Timmy smiled bright and cuddled into York’s chest as York wrapped his arms around Timmy.

Illan smiled from the peace he saw on both their faces. He was very happy for his new little friend. Timmy seamed to need love, care, and attention more than anyone else he ever met, and Illan could see that York gave him all of that. There was just something so pure and innocent about Timmy that called to Illan and his dragon, making them both feel very protective of the little man.
