He found almost one billion American dollars in banknotes hidden in a secret vault. That must be Miki Group’s cash reserves.

“What a haul!” Tang Hao was excited.

He left the building, went to the Miki clan estate, and killed everyone there. Then, he looted everything inside.

He exited the house and burned it down with fire.

  Finally, his mission was complete.

Anyone important in Miki Group was dead. After tonight, there would be no more Miki Group in this world.

He returned to the hotel at about three o’clock in the morning. He rested for three hours, then checked out and prepared to head to the airport.

Once he was out of the hotel, he noticed a black car parked next to the road. The car window rolled down, and a head peeked out. That perfect oval face, cherry lips, and fox-like eyes were extremely charming.

She was none other than Tamamo.

She smiled seductively and threw him a kiss. “We meet again, my good Little Brother!” She said with a cloying voice.

Tang Hao was not in the mood to appreciate her advances. He immediately put up his guard.

He did not expect to be discovered by someone he knew.

However, he immediately. Even though his passport was forged, the photograph on it was his real face. It was possible that she could track him down.

“What do you want?” Tang Hao asked grimly.

Tamamo gave him a side-eye and said disapprovingly, “Why, can’t I look for you just for fun? Are you trying to hide from me after taking advantage of me? That’s why they say all men are trash.”

Tang Hao nearly did a spit take when he heard that.

Her tone of voice was too intimate.

However, he could not remember what he did to the woman though?

“Why, have you forgotten, that night…” She stuck out her chest seductively when she said that.

Tang Hao’s facial muscles twitched. ‘She’s a fox spirit,’ he cursed in his heart. (TN: In Chinese, a seductress is also called a ‘fox spirit’.)

His expression turned serious. “What do you want from me? Don’t tell me you are seeking revenge for Miki Group?”

Tamamo chuckled. “That’s ridiculous. I’m not related to Miki Group. I’m only here to say hi to you, and I can send you to the airport too.

“Why, don’t tell me you’re too chicken to ride in my car?”

She looked at Tang Hao with equal parts of provocation and seductiveness.

Tang Hao discerned that there was nothing dangerous about the car. “I’m not scared!” He said.

  “Get on then!”

Tamamo winked, then she opened the door and extended her legs.

‘Oh heavens, deliver me from sin!’ Tang Hao muttered in his heart a few times and managed to keep him calm. He kept a serious face as he opened the car door and sat inside.

  Tamamo was visibly surprised.

‘Is this kid a block of wood? How did he withstand my charms?’

For a brief moment, she doubted her abilities.

“Start the car. To the airport, now!” Tang Hao told the driver brusquely.

The driver hesitated, but eventually started the car and started driving anyway.

Tamamo came to her senses. She smiled once more and leaned closer to Tang Hao.

Tang Hao immediately shifted away from her.

Tamamo was stunned again. Her smile froze on her face.

‘F*ck me, what the hell is wrong with this kid? How dare he reject my advances and move away? This is such a big blow to my confidence.’

  Tamamo was getting flustered.

She was not ready to give up just yet. She did not believe that she could not seduce the kid.

“My good Little Brother…” She smiled. Her voice was so sweet and cloying it could cause diabetes.

“Who’s your little brother? Just say whatever you want to say!” Tang Hao said coldly. He flicked his wrist and brandished a dragon tooth dagger.

He did not want to let his guard down against that Dongying woman.

Tamamo’s smile froze on her face again.

She was flustered once more when she saw the dagger.

Any other man would have fallen for her charms. However, the kid had actively ignored her and even brandished a dagger at her.

She stopped smiling and looked sheepish.

“I’ll speak then. I’m here to find out how many people you brought with you this time. Also, I’ll have to thank you for wiping out Amaterasu Shrine for us.”

Tang Hao glanced at her. “Just myself!” He said coldly.

“Oh, just you alone! W- What? Just… Just you alone?” Tamamo stammered. Her eyes were wide open.

She was at a loss for words.

She thought that the Taoist masters from Mao Mountain had stormed the building last night, but she did not expect that the kid had come alone.

How did one person manage to defeat so many people?

Moreover, there was someone among the grandmasters who was almost as powerful as her.

She was thoroughly dumbfounded by the boy sitting next to her.

  Chapter 375 - Charity Foundation

“Why, you don’t believe me?” Tang Hao said coldly.

Tamamo came to her senses and laughed drily. She believed him but still found it hard to believe nonetheless.

She knew he was telling the truth though. She could not find any trace of the Mao Mountain Taoist masters.

How did the kid accomplish the feat? It was ridiculous to think about it.

Her gaze on Tang Hao became more eager the more she tried to find an explanation.

“You’re so amazing, my good Little Brother! What if Elder Sister joins forces with you?

“What’s your name, my good Little Brother? The name on the passport isn’t your real name, right? What’s your phone number? Elder Sister wants to call you.”

She kept on winking at Tang Hao. Normal people would have melted under her charms.

Tang Hao kept rolling his eyes. She must have some ulterior motive for trying to get closer to him. Furthermore, she was from Dongying.

He kept a straight face and said nothing on the entire journey to the airport.

Tamamo was losing her mind because of how unresponsive Tang Hao was.

She did not know what to do. Her charm sorcery did not affect him, as though he was a block of wood.

Very soon, they arrived at the airport.

“Thanks!” Tang Hao said coolly, opened the car door, and walked out.

“Grrrr! I’m so angry!” After he left, Tamamo gritted her pearly teeth and clenched her petite fists.

However, she soon calmed down. She looked at the figure walking away and mumbled to herself, “This guy is interesting. Hm, he looks quite handsome too!”

The corners of her lips curled upward.

  “I don’t believe that I can’t find you!”

Her smile widened, and her fox-like eyes brimmed with cunning.

Tang Hao successfully boarded the plane and returned to Huaxia.

  Ding! Ding! Ding!

Right after he disembarked from the plane, message notifications arrived like snowflakes in a blizzard. Most of the messages were from the Mao Mountain Taoist masters. Some of them were from Officer Zhao and Sis Yan.

“Oh, f*ck me upside down. Fellow Cultivator Tang! You’re amazing! You’re f*cking goddamn amazing!”

That was from Shabby Taoist Master.

“You’re godlike, Fellow Cultivator Tang! Hahaha, the Dongying bastards must be crying now! That’ll teach them to mess with Mao Mountain.”

That was from Trendy Taoist Master.

Many other Taoist masters he knew also sent him congratulatory messages. Tang Hao blushed when he read them.

“Tang Hao, do you know about what happened to Miki Group? Why can’t I reach you? Call me back when you read this!”

  That was from Officer Zhao.

“Call me immediately when you read this message, Pr
esident Tang. It’s urgent!”

  That was from Sis Yan.

Tang Hao read the messages one by one. He was a little surprised when he read Officer Zhao’s message.

He thought for a while and called Sis Yan first.

“Hey, President Tang! I’ve finally got to you,” Liu Yan grumbled over the phone.

“I’m sorry, Sis Yan. I had something yesterday and I turned off my phone. What’s so urgent?” Tang Hao laughed awkwardly.

“President Tang, someone has been causing trouble since yesterday. They’ve been going around hoarding medicinal herbs and raising the prices. That has affected our supply.

“They’re also a medicine factory, but they have the shadow of Tai An behind them.

“We’re still relatively unaffected for now, but it won’t bode well for us if it lasts longer. They’re determined to bring us down.”

Tang Hao furrowed his brows after hearing that.

‘It’s Tai An! That means that Ling Rui or Ling Mingshan must be behind this!’

“This is quite tricky indeed!” Tang Hao mumbled.

Ling Wei stood between him and Tai An. Whenever he thought of Ling Wei, he would feel melancholy in his heart.

“Alright, understood. I’ll return to Westridge today. We can discuss it when I get back.”

  “Alright!” Liu Yan replied.

After the call ended, Tang Hao brought up Zhao Qingxue’s phone number to the dialer. He hesitated for a while but eventually pressed the call button.

Zhao Qingxue soon picked up his call.

“Hey, Tang Hao, where have you been? Did you go to Dongying? I saw it all on the news. Did you do that? A clash of that magnitude doesn’t look like a fight between yakuza groups,” Zhao Qingxue said frantically.

“Say something, Tang Hao! Are you OK now? Don’t frighten me!” She became more worried when Tang Hao did not say anything.

Tang Hao smiled after hearing the concern in her voice. “I’m fine. I’m already safely back in Huaxia!”

Zhao Qingxue exhaled heavily. She finally felt relieved.

“That means, was that… really you?” She was shocked.

“Yup!” Tang Hao did not deny it.

Zhao Qingxue did not say anything for a long time. “Well… Thanks!” She eventually said.

She might not be the entire reason why Tang Hao did that in Dongying, but she knew that she was one of the reasons.

“Don’t mention it. You don’t have to worry anymore,” Tang Hao said.

  “Mm!” Zhao Qingxue replied.

There was a moment of awkward silence after that.

“I have something to attend to. I’m hanging up!” Zhao Qingxue said hurriedly.

“Alright, take care!” Tang Hao said.

  “Mm!” She ended the call.

After that, Tang Hao gave Shabby Taoist Master a call.

When the call was picked up, Shabby Taoist Master showered him with a barrage of praises and flattery. The other Taoist masters also snatched the phone to congratulate Tang Hao.

Tang Hao could not help it but laugh. Eventually, Shabby Taoist Master managed to get his phone back. They agreed to meet at Octagon Alley that afternoon.

After the call ended, Tang Hao gave a call to Han Yutong. He told her to prepare to return to Westridge in the afternoon.

Finally, he gave a call to Sis Xiangyi to let her know that he was safe.

After exiting the airport, he hailed a cab and went to Octagon Alley.

He met up with Shabby Taoist Master about two hours later. After exchanging some pleasantries, he took out all the loot from Miki Group. There were antiques, works of art, cash, gold, jewelry, and other precious items.

Tang Hao had a legally registered company, and he could not use his loot without attracting unwanted attention. He had requested Shabby Taoist Master’s help in laundering the money and items.

The items filled up an entire truck. Shabby Taoist Master was incredibly envious when he saw that.

“I’ll leave this to you, Taoist Master. After you’ve laundered the money, I want to set up a charity foundation. I didn’t earn this money. Rather, it’s Miki Group’s ill-gotten gains. I can’t spend it on myself. The money should be given to people who need it the most,” Tang Hao said.

Shabby Taoist Master was shocked after he heard that. “You’re a good person, Fellow Cultivator Tang! Don’t worry about this. You can leave it to me.

“I don’t trust the other charity foundations out there, it’s better to run one yourself. Right, what should we name it?”

“We’ll just call it the Mao Mountain Charity Foundation!” Tang Hao said.

“Hm… that’ll do! Oh, Fellow Cultivator Tang, this is so much good karma! Thanks so much, Fellow Cultivator Tang!”

Shabby Taoist Master cupped his fists as a sign of thanks and drove away in his truck.

Tang Hao went to pick up Han Yutong and returned to Westridge.

  Chapter 376 - Forming A Conglomerate

That evening, Tang Hao sat in his office.

In front of him were Liu Yan, Lin Fuquan, and Yao Qing.

The three people were the managers of Haotian Co. Ltd., Masculine Wind Co. Ltd., and Divine Liquor Company respectively.

“We have to come up with a solution, President Tang. Tai An must be sabotaging us. They won’t give up that soon.”

The person who spoke was Lin Fuquan. He was in his forties, the perfect age for a man to be ambitious. He wore glasses and looked like a gentleman.

  Tang Hao nodded.

If the situation continued, both Haotian and Masculine Wind would be affected.

The two companies needed many medicinal herbs for their products. The plantation supplied the herbs that were rarely found in the open market, while they relied on external supplies for the more commonly found herbs.

Unfortunately, the latter took up the larger proportion. If their supply was affected, it would greatly affect the output of the two companies.

“All we can do now is to outbid them. However, Tai An has stronger finances. We’ll still be at a disadvantage if the fight draws out,” Liu Yan said.

Tang Hao thought for a while. “We’ll just outbid them for now. It’s fine if we make fewer profits. We can handle that.”

He paused for a while and continued, “This incident has also exposed our greatest weakness, that is, our supply of medicinal herbs. We’ll have to find other ways to solve this.”

Liu Yan and Lin Fuquan nodded in agreement.

“How about this, President Tang, we should set up a company that specifically supplies medicinal herbs to our other companies. We have four plantations now, all supplying us with rare herbs. We can simply set up more.

“We don’t need any special planting conditions for the more common herbs. Even untrained farmers could plant them. We can recruit more farmers to plant the herbs for us and we can purchase directly from them,” Liu Yan said.

“That’s a good idea!” Lin Fuquan said, “Medicinal herbs are the lifeblood of our companies. We need to control our supply.”

Tang Hao thought about the proposal for a while and eventually nodded.

“That’s a good idea. We’ll set up a company immediately! As for the name… we’ll also call it Haotian. Haotian Plantations Co. Ltd.,” Tang Hao said decisively.

After deciding on that, Tang Hao spoke to Yao Qing.

After more than a month, the liquor factory was almost complete.

Divine Liquor was special. It did not require brewing, which meant that its production saved a lot of time and factory space. The factory did not occupy a large area and the construction was also relatively fast.

In that period, Yao Qing’s main task was marketing. He generated hype for Divine Liquor, which meant that the product was already popular even before the factory was complete.

At night, Tang Hao had dinner with Liu Dajun and the other bosses at Beyond Heavens Restaurant. He told them about his intention to start a plantation company to supply
the other companies with medicinal herbs.

“Lil Tang, now that the companies are all on track, don’t you think that it’s time to group them together? Haotian Group. That sounds so cool, right?” Liu Dajun said.

“Right! We need to be fast!” President Li and the other bosses agreed.

“That’s right, it’s about time. Divine Liquor Company will start its operations in a few days. Meanwhile, Haotian, Masculine Wind, and New Magical Kitchen are thriving.

“We’ll start preparations once Divine Liquor Company is operational!”

Everyone in the room cheered happily.

They stood up and clinked their glasses.

“A toast for Haotian Group!” Everyone shouted.

Tang Hao lifted his glass and clinked it with the other people’s glasses, then drained it in one gulp.

He was feeling emotional at that moment.

Just a year ago, he was a poor, unknown kid. He had worked day and night to earn a living, though the money was barely enough.

Back then, he would never have imagined that he could accomplish so much in such a short time.

Even when he started earning money through selling weight-loss potions, he could never imagine that his business would grow to its scale today.

“Bottoms up, Lil Tang! I know that I’m not mistaken about you. You’re as capable as I thought you would be.”

Jin Biao came and placed his arm over Tang Hao’s shoulders.

They clinked their glasses and drained them.

Jin Biao had drunk a lot of alcohol. His face was red and he looked excited.

“Ol’ Li, Ol’ Liu, let me tell you, I was the one who bought Lil Tang’s first time, pah! I mean, first potion. I was floored when I drank that potion. I thought, ‘Oh my! This is medicine from the heavens!’
