He spent another five days mastering that skill.

Tang Hao was fully engrossed in crafting Artifacts. Other than any necessary trips, he spent his entire time in his home.

Even when he was outside, he could not stop thinking about crafting Artifacts.

Twelve days after his first attempt at crafting Artifacts, Tang Hao had mastered the basics of crafting.

Some of the jade pieces inside the pool had transformed into spirit jade. He took a piece, had it crafted into bracelets, and started his first serious attempt in crafting an Artifact.

All the previous attempts were only practice.

It was late at night. Tang Hao sat cross-legged in the living room.

He held a jade bracelet in his left hand.

The bracelet was translucent white. It seemed to be enveloped by a thin halo of light, which made it look brilliant and dazzling.

That was the difference between spirit jade and mundane jade. Not only its appearance had changed after soaking in the spirit jade pool, it was also a lot stronger.

As he held the bracelet in his left hand, he lifted his index finger on his right hand, focused his qi into a small needle, and started carving the runes.

As he moved his finger slightly, tiny runes appeared on the bracelet.

That continued for half an hour.

Suddenly, Tang Hao’s finger trembled and accidentally added an extra stroke.

  “Tch!”

He grimaced in frustration. It was already his fifth failure.

He tossed the jade bracelet aside, rested for a while, picked up another one, and started the process again.

He encountered several more failures before finally succeeding in his twelfth attempt.

Tang Hao could not hide his excitement as he beheld the jade bracelet in his palm.

He eventually managed to calm himself down and started to channel qi into the bracelet.

The jade bracelet gradually glowed. The carved runes on the bracelet were projected in the air and shimmered.

It was like a scene from a dream.

“It’s done!” Tang Hao cheered, unable to contain his excitement.

He could not stop looking at the jade bracelet. He was very happy.

He only managed to calm down a long while later. He kept the bracelet somewhere safe and continued making more.

In the entire night, he received four successes out of more than thirty attempts.

Tang Hao repeated the processes over the next few days. He had his fifth success and his sixth. His success rate grew, and more and more Artifacts were produced.

When he accumulated twenty jade bracelets, he started crafting jade pendants.

Jade pendants were easier to carve than bracelets, and the rate of success was higher.

  One, two, three…

Many jade pendants were crafted into Artifacts.

Tang Hao had become a master of the craft.

Meanwhile, he also contacted Master Wu Qifeng and handed him the piece of imperial jade to be made into bracelets and necklaces.

Tang Hao requested that the design be plain enough for everyday usage.

Tang Hao received the items five days later. There were fifteen pairs of bracelets and fifteen necklaces in total.

Tang Hao did not immediately start working on them. Instead, he continued practicing to improve his carving skills.

He only started working on those jade items when he felt that he was ready.

He managed to craft nine pairs of bracelets and eleven necklaces out of those items.

That was better than Tang Hao had expected. He was only aiming for eight successes.

He wanted to have them replace the eight blood jade beads he had given out.

He gave a pair of bracelets and a necklace to Sis Xiangyi.

The spirit jade accessories and the blood jade bead granted a lot of defense. Even Tang Hao could not break that easily.

After sending Sis Xiangyi off, Tang Hao called Liu Dajun and the other bosses and requested them to meet in the company.

After a round of calls, he placed his phone down and breathed a sigh of relief.

He looked at the calendar and was surprised.

Before he knew it, he was already back in Westridge for a full month. He spent the past twenty days crafting Artifacts.

Those twenty days passed by in the blink of an eye.

He shook his head as he stood at the door, then went into the house and packaged the spirit jade Artifacts into several intricate boxes.

He went out of the house and drove to the company.

  Chapter 423 - Assistant Han’s Appeal

Tang Hao saw Han Yutong at the entrance to the building.

She was walking hurriedly toward the building with a handbag in one hand and a stuffed jianbing in the other.

She wore high heels which made clacking sounds as she took every step. She was dressed in typical office-lady clothes: a fitting business jacket and a miniskirt. The clothes had accentuated the impeccable curves of her body.

Her legs were long and sculpted. The pantyhose gave them a seductive charm.

Needless to say, her face was her most prominent feature. Those bright eyes, perfect teeth, and fair skin were extremely charming.

As she walked, her long hair bobbed and her body swayed, which attracted eyes from all over.

Even other women looked at her with either envy or admiration.

  “Beautiful Han is here!”

Everyone around her exclaimed in awe. Some of them even howled.

The men were excited to see her.

There were many beautiful women in the commercial area, though the most famous and beautiful one was Han Yutong. Her impeccable face and seductive body were utterly perfect. She was the goddess in many men’s hearts.

Many people were hiding behind the bushes, waiting for Han Yutong’s appearance.

“Oh, my goddess, you are just as perfect today!”

“My goddess is even more beautiful today!”

“Wow, those legs! … I want to touch them!”

They looked at Han Yutong with sparkling eyes. They seemed obsessed with her. Some of the more perverted ones were about to drool.

Han Yutong hurriedly walked past them while looking at her watch. Occasionally, she would take a bite of her stuffed jianbing.

“Wow, that’s my goddess! She looks so pretty even when eating street food!”

  The people were utterly infatuated.

Tang Hao rolled his eyes when he heard that.

At the same time, he was also quite surprised that Han Yutong was so popular among the men. He turned to look at Han Yutong and soon understood why that was so.

He prepared to take another stride.

Suddenly, someone appeared from behind a flower bed.

He was a bespectacled, bookish-looking man dressed in a business suit and had neatly-styled hair. He was walking very quickly.

He took one final step and fell on one knee.

Han Yutong was halfway taking a bite from her stuffed jianbing. She was surprised when that man appeared abruptly in front of her, and she took a step back.

“Ahem!” She nearly choked on her food.

Her eyes were opened round and wide.

The man threw back his head, tidied his glistening hair, and flashed a cool smile. He lifted the bouquet in his hands, made a romantic face, and handed the bouquet to her.

“Ah, Yutong! You are light, you are electricity. You are the spark of my life, please accept my love…”

His speech and tone of voice were rather cringy.

Han Yutong stood there with her mouth slightly open.

‘Electricity my *ss! If I’m electricity, I’ll shock you to death!’

She cursed in her heart but did not show it on her face. Instead, she smiled politely and took the bouquet from the man’s hands.

  The man was instantly ecstatic.

However, his joy turned into shock right after that, when Han Yutong turned
around and tossed the bouquet into the garbage can.

“Hahaha, you idiot! The goddess won’t be appeased by flowers alone! You need to have money, a lot of money!” Another man appeared out of nowhere and laughed at him.

He was tall, well-built, handsome, and was dressed in trendy clothes.

He quickly stepped in front of Han Yutong and handed her a bank card.

“Yutong, there’s two hundred thousand yuan in this card. You can spend this however you want! Consider this as a small expression of my love for you. Please take it!” The man smiled eagerly.

Han Yutong smiled again. She took the card and tossed it behind her. Then, she walked around those men.

That man’s smile froze on his face, and he stood there as though he had been turned into stone.

“Yutong, here are two tickets to an orchestra concert! Please come with me and bask in culture!”

“Yutong, I wrote this poem for you. Let me read it!”

Men continued to appear in front of her.

Han Yutong maintained her smile all the way through. She took the presents that were handed to her and either tossed them aside or ripped it into pieces.

Despite that, more and more men appeared.

  “That’s enough! Everyone, go away!”

She shouted angrily and walked a little faster toward the building in front of her.

“What a bunch of idiots. Can’t they see that I’m almost late to work?” She mumbled as she took another bite from her stuffed jianbing.

When she neared the entrance, she accidentally tripped on her high heels.

She shrieked in panic, and her face turned pale.

However, in the next moment, an arm reached out and grabbed her shoulder firmly. She leaned onto that person’s body.

Those shoulders were broad and strong. The body also emanated a light yet familiar smell of medicinal herbs.

In her shock, she turned to see who it was.

“Pres… President Tang…” She mumbled. She frantically looked away, though her face was boiling red.

President Tang was nearby, which meant that he had seen everything that happened earlier.

“Be more careful next time!” Tang Hao said.

“Oh!” Han Yutong replied. She did not move away but instead continued leaning on Tang Hao’s body.

She was quite fond of that light smell.

Everyone wailed when they saw that.

“F*ck me, who’s that kid? Why is he so lucky?”

“Get away, kid! Keep your filthy hands from Beautiful Han!”

“How dare you take advantage of Beautiful Han! I’ll teach you a lesson!”

Many men shouted agitatedly. Their eyes were about to spew fire. All of them had the urge to rush forward, kick the kid aside, and replace his position.

  However, other people looked sheepish.

“Beat him up? Are you crazy? Don’t you know who he is?” Someone laughed.

“Who can he be? Isn’t he just a kid?” Those people said confusedly.

“Ha, you’re so ignorant! He’s the president of Haotian Co. Ltd. Also, Divine Liquor Company and Masculine Wind Co. Ltd. are his. I even heard that he’s in the middle of forming Haotian Group.

“Even the district governor has to be polite when talking to him. And you want to beat him up? You all must have a death wish!”

The people trembled when they heard that.

‘What? So that kid is the elusive president of Haotian Co. Ltd.?’

They heard other rumors about that elusive president. They would not be able to beat him in a fight!

They turned around and scuttled away in a mixture of shame and fear.

Chapter 424 - One Hundred Million Yuan Profit

Tang Hao stood there, scratching his head.

He did not expect that he had a reputation of scaring people away just by the mention of his name.

Meanwhile, the beautiful woman in his embrace showed no signs of getting up. He was feeling a little embarrassed.

They were standing at the entrance of the office building, and many people were looking at them with curious looks on their faces. Those were all workers of Haotian Co. Ltd.

Especially female workers, who were chuckling while covering their mouths.

More importantly, it was hard for him to restrain his urges when he was hugging a charming and sexy woman.

  “Ahem!” He coughed lightly.

Han Yutong came to her senses. She quickly stood up and straightened her clothes. Her face was blushing red, and she dared not look at Tang Hao in the eye.

  “Ahem, let’s go!”

Tang Hao coughed again and walked into the building.

  “President Tang!”

The workers that he met along the way stopped walking and greeted him courteously, though they still had that curious smile on their faces. Tang Hao was embarrassed when he saw that.

He tried to keep a straight face while returning their greetings.

As they got out of the elevator, Tang Hao told Han Yutong, “Follow me…”

They went into Tang Hao’s office. Tang Hao sat down, and Han Yutong followed inside. She was nibbling on the stuffed jianbing in her hands, looking a little confused.

“Is there anything, President Tang? Oh, you’re here early today!” Han Yutong said.

At that moment, her expression was quite adorable.

“Oh, I’m quite busy today!” Tang Hao said.

“Oh! Are you still busy with the matter that has been occupying you for the past few weeks?” Han Yutong asked.

President Tang was very busy with other things before, and he rarely came to the company. Every time he went to the office, he seemed to be deep in thought about something.

“Yes, I’m done with that. We’ll go back to Provincial City this afternoon. I’ve skipped classes for almost a month!” Tang Hao said.

  “Oh!” Han Yutong replied.

“Close the door and sit down!” Tang Hao said.

Han Yutong was surprised but did what she was told. She closed the door and sat on the chair in front of Tang Hao.

“Is there anything, President Tang?” She asked softly. She seemed a little anxious.

Tang Hao smiled when he saw her like that. “It’s nothing, don’t worry. I want to give you something to protect yourself.”

“To protect myself?” Han Yutong remained clueless. She lowered her head and looked at her chest.

Under her clothes was a pendant with the blood jade bead Tang Hao had given her.

“But I already have this?” She pointed at her chest.

She blushed intensely after noticing that she might have gestured inappropriately.

“That’s not powerful enough. This one is more powerful. However, you still have to wear that bead. Don’t ever take it off,” Tang Hao said.

  “Oh!” Han Yutong nodded.

Tang Hao took out a wooden box, placed it on the table, and pushed it toward Han Yutong. “You can open it and see for yourself!” He said.

Han Yutong wolfed down the remainder of her stuffed jianbing and pulled the wooden box closer to her.

A ray of light shone out from the box when she opened it.

She was bedazzled by the shimmering green light.

  “Wow! It’s so pretty!”

  Han Yutong’s eyes sparkled.

In front of her were a pair of bracelets and a necklace. They were crafted of brilliant green jade.

She could feel that the jade was filled with otherworldly energy. The necklace was crafted of plated gold and in the middle was a teardrop-shaped jade bead. It looked simple and elegant, but at the same time extravagant.

“This… This is… jade?” Han Yutong covered her mouth and exclaimed.

She had some knowledge of antiques and knew that jade of such a brilliant green color was imperial jade.

‘Bracelets made of imperial jade? The price must be astronomical!’

Her eyes opened wider and wider. She could not contain the excitement
in her heart.

“Are… Are you really giving all these to me?”

She lifted her head and looked incredulously at Tang Hao.

Tang Hao nodded. “Please take it!”

He suddenly thought of something and added, “Right, give me your hand.”

Han Yutong did what she was told.

“This might sting a bit!” Tang Hao focused his qi on his finger into a needle. He pricked her finger and squeezed a drop of blood onto each of the jade items.

“Done! Next time if you’re in danger, you can activate the powers in the Artifacts just by thinking of it,” Tang Hao said.

Han Yutong wore the Artifacts on her wrists and her neck. She was extremely happy as she looked at them.

  “Thank you, President Tang!”

She stood up, leaned forward, and gently kissed Tang Hao’s cheek. She chuckled mischievously and ran out of the door.

Tang Hao touched his cheek. He was shocked.

A while later, Liu Dajun and the others arrived.

“Hey, Lil Tang! Why did you call all of us here? Do you have something?” Liu Dajun said after he sat down.

When everyone sat down, Tang Hao took out a big sack, placed it on the table, and poured out all the wooden boxes from inside.

“What’s that?” President Li and the others exclaimed.

“Good stuff!” Tang Hao said with a smile.

The bosses’ eyes sparkled. If Lil Tang said that it was something good, then it must be something good.

Each of them went and took a wooden box. They were stunned when they saw what was inside.

  “Jade pendant?”

  “Jade bracelets?”

Liu Dajun seemed a little frustrated when he looked at the jade bracelets. “I’m a man, Lil Tang. I’m not going to wear jade bracelets! Oh? This jade seems different somehow, as though they have energy inside.”

“What’s this, Lil Tang? They’re not normal jade accessories, right?” President Li said.

“Of course now, they’re an enhanced version of the jade talismans,” Tang Hao said, “They’ll protect your life.”

Their eyes sparkled again, and they looked excited.
