Annabelle covered her mouth, tears shimmering in her eyes.
“Allow me to translate. In dog-speak, Echo asked if you would marry us?”
“Yes.” A sob escaped, then she threw her arms around him. “Yes, I’ll marry you.”
Echo bounded up with an excited yip and they included him in the embrace. Family. His family.
