“Watch Captain!” A dwarf shouted, “Sir, I have activity on the wharf!”
“Keep your pants on,” Sargon left his desk. “What is it, private?”
“Sensors have picked up two creatures approaching Port Royal.”
“Where did they come from?”
“Don’t know, sir. They just showed up. They’re entering Port Royal now.”
The captain hovered over the dwarf’s station. “Do we have a visual?”
“The camera on the wharf may pick them up, sir.”
“What are you waiting for?” The captain slapped the control bank. “Get it up on the vid then! Now! Snappy!”
The dwarf selected a camera monitoring the wharf, and sent it to his vid screen. “Here, sir, I have them.”
The captain stood over the dwarf’s shoulder.
Two Sasquatch ambled up a sand dune. They stopped and gyrated as if discussing which way to go. Then they slid down the dune, and continued on their way.
“It’s nothing,” said the captain. “Report two Sasquatch entered Port Royal. They’re just looking for their wolf pack. Alert the gate. We don’t want their werewolves tearing our guards apart.”
“Yes sir.”
