Spencer laid back in his sleeping pod and stared up at the ceiling, quietly recounting both the marvelous and horrifying events of the day. This new chapter in his life had revealed so much more than he’d ever believed imaginable, but left him with even more questions than he’d ever thought to ask. Although, he was battered, exhausted, and weary, incredible thoughts and ideas raced through his mind. It was unbelievable to him, that only a few days ago, he had started what he thought was a journey to learn more about his own deceased parents, but had ended up acquiring so much more. Spencer could never have anticipated, that his presence would be requested from above the most ancient civilization and most sacred society to hopefully reveal some mystical treasure. Finally he reached over to his nightstand, dimmed his crystal lamp, and gradually drifted off into a deep slumber for a new dawn was soon to begin and a new chapter in his life would open.
