“That was amazing,” he said breathlessly. “Merry Freakin’ Christmas.”
I leaned my head back and laughed loudly as he pulled out and reached for my hands. When I got to my feet, he placed a long and passionate kiss on my lips. I couldn’t imagine that a better first time existed. Knowing my mother would be home soon, we got dressed and straightened ourselves up. I wanted him to stay but I knew it would look suspicious. I walked him to the door and handed him his hat as he pulled on his jacket. He opened the door but turned back and kissed me one last time, deep and hard, before flashing that killer smile and walking out of the apartment. He may have been a stranger just a few hours before, but I didn’t regret anything that happened between us.
Little did I know, I wouldn’t see Dex again for a very long time.
