Marked For You: The X-Perience Series Page 7

by C. G Miller

Just as I was about to call Eve back to give her a piece of my mind, Kyle slipped into the kitchen with a twinkle in her eyes that watched me like a hawk. Her lips formed a small quirk that I couldn’t tell if she was truly happy this morning or if she was playing for me.

Her steps came closer having a sudden calming effect on my body making the tension from Eve dwindle away. Kyle stood on her tiptoes like she was going to kiss me but instead turned her eyes to the glass next to me. She reached around grabbing it while bringing her eyes back to mine with a wide smile on her face. Taking the glass, she reached around, smacking my butt before she walked away to plop on the couch.

I chuckled watching her drink the glass I just poured while she focused on Chula. She made me feel younger, more alive, and all I wanted was to play with her forever. I began thinking about life outside The X-Perience.

When I started, I never gave another thought to actually living normal. The thought was never even hidden somewhere in my brain. My choice of lifestyle gave me a chance to fill dark desires that held me more than content. As Kyle sat on the couch naked, her wet hair had droplets of water slipping down her small frame, I began to wonder about a life outside.

  Would it be fulfilling?

Is my new realization because of Kyle?

The thought was only livable if she was by my side. Would she even want that? Was she just really good at playing our game? Because she was so secretive, and we hadn’t known each other long, reading her was difficult when she looked so satisfied in this fantasy. I was breaking my rules letting my thoughts of life outside begin to control me. How do you let go of something that’s not lust and not quite love but somewhere in between?

What our connection had shown me was we had all the parts of lust with the makings of love that we're falling in the limbo of in between. She was healing my sweet tooth with a dirty agenda she didn’t even realize was coming. Sweet, dirty love maybe? Could all those feelings fall into a category like that? So many questions with no answers until it was time to say goodbye. When our act would end, and I would be able to look in her eyes and see if at the end, was it all just to get her cherry popped?

The doorbell rang pulling me from my thoughts, Kyle looked to me with a quizzical look. She began to stand no doubt wanting to hide away from prying eyes to her nakedness, but I wanted to keep looking at her.

“My assistant, you’re fine don’t move.” I pointed to her as I walked down to the front door.

When I pulled the door open, Jessica gave me an unsure look as the suitcase sat by her feet. I could tell she was silently questioning my motives for this. We have worked together for years and never once has she second guessed me. But, in all those years, never once had I given her any reason to. She wanted an explanation, one I wasn’t ready to give so I settled with, “Thank you.”

Pushing the door closed, her hand stopped it, “Cree?”

“Now’s not really the time Jessica.” I stated as I opened the door wider to see her. I let my eyes burn into her, expressing her to not yet talk about this topic. Her face formed with worry and uncertainty.

“Just so you know Cree, you are the best boss I have had and if something changes, would you let me know beforehand? I just need to prepare myself if I am to be put in the pool system.” I nodded at her and shut the door.

Ah yes the pool system. It made me realize how my actions of becoming attached to Kyle could result in consequences to all those that work for me.

The X-Perience had a pool system for all those that didn’t meet the detailed requirements of being a companion. It consisted of checklists, extensive background checks, and also a mental awareness check. Jessica had settled for what Eve would give her based on the fact, Jessica was too vulnerable. She had a good heart, not enough money to buy herself in, and was more of a liability to Eve if she would be put through to companion. Jessica had hoped by starting on the lower end of the food chain, it would help her grow a thicker skin which is why Eve placed her with me. If I were to leave, her position would go into the pool system where it would be chosen at random who she would be placed with next.

While I have a black heart, my work ethic has taught me to treat others how I wish to be treated while being aware of their wants and needs. Other companions are not so, valiant. Mario for one, he runs his assistant like a rag doll. She has so many agendas on her plate, he never takes into consideration the exhaustion it puts on another and doesn’t nearly pay as much as other companions.

Taking a breath, I reset myself to be with Kyle. The view of her on the couch is of pure sin with her body stretched out starring off to the wall lost in my Macabre paintings. Her thought is in a tranquil state making her look almost as lifeless as the paintings. It’s truly a beautiful sight making my heart skip a beat.

“Here Little One.” I set the bag by the couch as she pulled herself from out of her mind.

“What about my room?” She asks with a furrowed brow.

“Checked you out. You’re here for the rest of the weekend.”

Her brow raises with surprise. “Ok.” Her voice is quiet as she mentally checks off the contract she signed before meeting me. It clearly states that she wouldn’t be staying with me and now her wheels are turning. But, I am a selfish man with no rhyme or reason, and it is just that. Her time is mine. Here with me.

“Hurry, go get dressed.” I pat her knee and she parts her legs slightly grasping at my hand. With a slight tug I bend further down until my lips meet hers, losing the morning in each other.

  Chapter 12 Kyle

I wondered what Cree was playing at checking me out of my room. The contract specifically said for privacy reasons companions use places that are neutral. I wanted to think I was special. He wanted me here with him and maybe he felt a little more for me like I did him. But, I chalked it down to time. We were on a time limit and running all over Sin City would take up a lot of that time.

Cree made me feel empowered the more my being surrounded him. I found my cheeks in pain from smiling more as his presence lingered on me. The feeling was better than a good feeling. I knew this because in all the years stuck in that town, never had I experienced happiness like this.

I dreaded going back home to the feelings of worthlessness and insignificance. Everyone there was stuck in a time loop of constant repeat of generations. So, by default, the time loop told me if I didn’t change my destiny, I would be destined to fall to a life of numbness.

My home was significant to me in the way that it was home. I was born there, raised myself there, and started my life there. Just because your home is your starting point to shape your life, it didn’t mean it had to be the ending.

In a weird way, an inexcusable way to find one’s self, Cree made me realize that. He didn’t even know how much impact he had on my thought process already. He was a fantasy that never would become reality. Cree made me realize there is more to this world. There is life that needs to be lived with countless words unwritten. It was time for me to put the words to reality to find my ending.

In black shorts, a white tank, flats, and a flannel around my waist I skipped back down to the living room where Cree sat patiently waiting.

“I’m ready.” I said impatiently. “Where are we going today?”

“Well my morning plans abruptly changed because of a little Sphinx.” Cree’s smile was ear to ear, his dark eyes sizzling with sex. “I have an idea though. I want to show you some of Vegas.”

Linking his hand in mine we made our way to his car.

He pulled into a hotel garage on the strip to park. Like a flawless man, he opened the car door, took my hand in his. I struggled trying to match his steps and found myself almost light jogging to keep up with his stride. As we came up on a street, he slowed down so I didn’t have to race to keep up.

The sun was high, scorching the pavement that was heating my feet with every step. The racing cars sped by, creating a tunnel wave of heat.

The beads of sweat glistened on my
chest as the hot air reminded me I wasn’t home in a town tucked away by mountains and fresh cool air.

Walking the Miracle Mile shops my eyes were in awe looking in no specific direction taking in all it had to offer. There was an endless sea of people, treats, accessories, food, and so much more. I continued to be surprised by Vegas at how much it offered but not at all okay with the heat.

I tinkered looking at sunglasses, and Cree walked away from me. Before I knew it, he was back with some ice cream in hand.

“Nice glasses. They should shield your eyes from how bright the city is.” He noted handing me the vanilla ice cream.

When the coldness touched my tongue, I almost instantly felt cooler. Cree was carefree, at ease, as the ice cream refreshed us.

Us being an actual couple almost felt real.

Walking past me he went to the checkout of the glasses shop, “We’ll take those.”

I choked on my ice cream as he reached for his wallet from his back pocket. The coldness immediately went to my head freezing it in agony.

“Cree I don’t have to get these.” I choked past the brain freeze. All he was trying to do was lavish me with jewels but, I could feel the insignificance seep in reminding me that this wasn’t real. In no real world could I afford these glasses.

Cree ignored me continuing to swipe his card. Turning back towards me, his smile was of sin. “Don’t worry Little One, you’ll figure out a way to pay me back.”

And just like that my insides melted making the ice cream no longer able to cool me. He wrapped his arm around my neck pulling me tight to him placing a kiss on my temple.

The heat was exhausting draining me the more we walked. Cree sat us at a burger place where we refueled and cooled off.

“So, how are you feeling Little One?” Cree asked shoving a fry into his mouth.

  “I feel hot.” I laughed.

Cree squinted his eyes, “I meant how are you feeling after last night?”

He was off script again asking about a real feeling. It made me weary to answer. Being honest is what we agreed on when he went off script at X Bar but, I thought that would be the end of being off script. As much as I wrapped my head around him and I, I concluded the contract was pretty much void at this point.

“Honestly?” I asked and Cree relaxed his eyes somberly nodding yes. “I feel empowered. It’s hard to explain. Like, I know this isn’t real, but you can’t fake feelings. My body feels like a firework. But, it never runs out of bursting. The burst keeps coming, giving me this out of this world explosion that I am trying to harness.” I was breathless trying to explain the feeling. I wasn’t even sure I was making sense. But Cree’s eyes were wide while he absorbed my words.

“That’s an interesting analogy.” He concluded then changed the subject. “How are you liking Vegas?”

Just like that he closed the door to any actual real conversation about our feelings.

“I’m beginning to think I could call Vegas home. I need a change from my home. Well maybe not a change, but an escape for a while.” I shrugged my shoulders still unsure of where I was headed but, leaving home was something I needed to do to find myself.

Crew’s body tensed at my statement, “What?” I laughed.

“Nothing. I’m not sure what to say actually.” His face remained blank. But, behind his eyes there was something lingering. Something he wasn’t saying. It made me want to question further if maybe we could actually be something. Maybe this wasn’t really all an act. Maybe he was just hiding behind our contract.

“Well why not give me some pros and cons to living here?” I asked, trying to open the door a little bit. If only I could get him to indulge further into a conversation, I thought, he could slip and say something that gave me any resemblance of hope that maybe we could stay together.

His mouth had a twitch that lasted until he finally spoke, “Pro, Vegas has a lot of options, con, it can be expensive.”

“Well with so many options I’m sure I could find a good job to pay for the expenses.”

“Are you really thinking of moving here or?” His sentence lingered before I answered, “I’m being serious. Time for a new home.” My statement was full of confidence. Once faced with the reality of it though I am not so sure how confident I would be to take that leap. A million scenarios began to run in my head from being homeless to being with Cree forever. He didn’t give me enough time to evaluate them all. His body shifted and his demeanor changed rapidly.

Cree’s face lit up with an unknown realization to me, “Okay come on.” He began to move quickly to my side.

“Wait I didn’t finish my fries.” My hand was already in his as he pulled me out of the burger joint. My feet moved faster as he pulled me quickly behind him. We walked quickly through masses of people every now and then bumping into someone. Cree was frantic like he was acting on pure impulse. It was nice to see him free. When we stopped Cree turned his attention to me. I couldn’t help but giggle at him. He quirked his head looking at me in wonder before pulling me into his embrace and gently lifting me from the ground. Cree gave my forehead a rough kiss as he hugged me tight. Setting me down, all I could do was stare with fear in my veins eyeing the shop.

The sign on the shop read Tattoos. My heart sank making my pulse race as Cree pulled me into the shop where I was met with buzzing. I wasn’t sure where to look so I clung onto Cree’s arm. He spoke with the lady at the front, their words were incoherent as the fear of a needle scraping my skin occupied my mind.

She ushered us over to a cubicle where an artist sat speaking with Cree. Before I knew it, I was sitting in the chair listening to the artist ask if I was ready and all I could do was nod my head. The machine came to life making me revert my attention to Cree with no doubt the look of fear on my face.

Cree assured me it would all be alright caressing my hand tight running his other hand through my hair. The buzzing changed when the machine made contact with my skin sending an uneasy, but comfortable heat to my hand. My skin burned where the needle traced over the top of my hand above my thumb and index finger. I wanted to look but Cree stopped me motioning me to wait.

After a few moments, I began to like the feeling of being tattooed. It was a mind game. My skin thought I was in pain, but I told my mind it’s not. I was stretching my limits taking control of my body and how it made me feel. If I were ever to have an addiction, it would be the sound of a tattoo machine, and the feeling it leaves after it has grazed my skin.

Before I could really relish in the sensation of getting a tattoo, the machine stopped buzzing. When I looked, my hand was wrapped, and Cree was pulling me up to him. He hugged me fiercely, placing a kiss to my temple before taking his own seat in the chair.

Cree’s eyes were on me while the artist reset up his area. Cree’s eyes were dark with hidden secrets of ownership. His free spirit was diminishing, and his dominance was beginning to come back out as his flesh was marked. My flesh already marked made me wonder, was I being marked to be his only?

Cree’s was done quicker than mine. He wore the same wrapping as he cupped my hand in his, our hidden tattoos next to each other that only he knew what was inked into our skins.

Time was dwindling with evening approaching. The sting in my stomach reminded me that in just a few short hours, I would be headed home. I kept that feeling tucked away tight to not ruin what time I had left. I couldn’t be a love-struck person with a man that was acting. Our love affair would go no further than tomorrow. Cree remained caught up in our act like he should. But, I wanted more. I would always want more. Maybe it was best that I was leaving. My mind couldn’t be made up with all the see sawing back and forth it did when it came to Cree.

“Did you have a good day today?” Cree asked speeding onto the freeway back to his house. His voice caught making me wonder if he too was realizing this was almost the end. It gave me a sense of hope that maybe he would keep me.

“I had an amazing day. Thank you.” I smiled at him taking his ha
nd and giving it a squeeze. “Now if we could look at our tattoos?”

“Not yet. That is your going away present.” His smile was faint followed by a squeeze to my hand. Cree was a mystery to me as I tried to decipher his every move and reaction.

Walking into the house, a need ripped through me. The need of want. My blood felt on fire, my skin tingled, and all of the sudden it was all or nothing. I wanted love so bad that I couldn’t help but to wrap my arms around Cree and pull him close. Kissing him deeply, never wanting to let go, I let our tongues linger and our hold have no limits desperate to make love to this man.

Staying in each other’s embrace, he slammed the door shut with his foot. Lifting me up, I wrapped my legs around him clawing at his clothes. He carried me up the stairs to his room, leaving a pile of clothes behind us. I pawed at his hair, and my hips rocked wanting to fill my need of never wanting to let go.

Cree paused breaking our kiss. Looking into my eyes, he brushed a stray hair back holding it in place. With a low growl, he said, “You surprised me last night Little One, but tonight you’re not in charge. I am.”

I had no time to react before he let me fall onto the bed. His luscious desire to take control washed my body with anxious fear, anticipation, and pleasure. All those feelings wrapped into one lit my body like a star. So much heat between my legs, my insides shined waiting to be pushed over the edge.

His touch was with precision and deliberation running his fingers down my legs spreading them wide for him. My body synced with his doing what he commanded.

Cree’s eyes observed my body closely, remembering every inch of me, teasing me with every touch. His tongue rolled up my legs, to my stomach, then to my breasts where he took each one in his mouth sucking. His hands shaped my face. His eyes were on fire revealing so much life. Cree became a wild animal taking possession of my mouth.

With shaking breath, our bodies on fire, he pulled away leaving me undone. Bringing a piece of cloth up to my eyes, he closed out the world around us. All I had were his movements, his shallow breathing, and his precise touches. With each movement, he brought my hands up tying them to a rope like fabric. Trying to pull my hands down, they were stopped, and I realized I was tied to the bed. He did the same with my feet.
