“Ooh!” she cried when he accepted her gift eagerly—drank deeply, suckling on her satiny folds and tormenting her flesh with his tongue and teeth.

“This is what I needed to confirm. That you’re mine. You taste like mine, Rachel.” He doubled his efforts, sparking her movements to become frantic. He tilted her bottom higher to lap deeper at her slickness. He nibbled on her clit then raked his teeth over the delicate nub.

“Hmm, beautiful.” Hunter’s body had turned as hard as stone. He was rigid with the effort to maintain control, to ensure he savored every drop. He sucked in deep breaths as he listened to her feverish plea floating through his mind.

“Hunter, I need you. I must have you inside me. Take me, now.”

  “There’s no rush, my pet.”

She ignored the sharp warning in his voice and demanded again, “Now, Hunter. Take me.”

“I don’t take, sub. I fuck. Try again.”

Rachel dragged in a deep breath. It wasn’t in her nature to be crude but she’d never felt this wild, this desperate for a climax. “Fuck me, Sir! Please.”

  “That’s much better, little one.”

Rachel pressed herself against his hardness as she locked her legs around his waist.

“Yes,” she moaned as he pushed into her, rocked by tremors that shook her body the deeper he went. “Oh, god, that feels so good.” She gasped as she felt herself stretch and wrap around his shaft, yielding and submitting to his power. It was an exquisite feeling of being slowly filled, of being complete.

Hunter watched her with his face drawn in a mask of torment. He ignored her pleas as he rocked into her with smooth, easy strokes.

“More! Give me more,” she begged as she thrashed frantically against him and cried in awe as his shaft expanded and grew even harder inside her.

Reaching down, he toggled and teased her clit while untying her wrists with the other. Her hands immediately clawed at his shoulders, urging him on. He thrust deep, slapping his hips against her as he powered into her with strong and fast plunges.

Rachel’s breath caught as a wave of bliss rippled through her. “Come! I need to come,” she screamed, her frayed mind still aware of his rule.

“Come, my pet.” His Texan drawl was the trigger and her body enveloped his, squeezing and clenching him in an intimate caress.

Her cry was dampened as she struggled to draw a breath, completely lost in the rapture that exploded in her veins. Waves of sensations crashed over Rachel and set her adrift on a sea of passion. He had reshaped her—molded her to his expert touch.

Hunter clamped her hips firmly in place as he pounded her with feverish thrusts as his pleasure increased. He bucked wildly in a race to lose himself in the undeniable bliss she’d taken him to once before. The primal purr that left his lips in a deep, husky growl portrayed masculine triumph as searing heat stabbed at the back of his cock.

His body turned taut for a brief moment and then he pulsed deeply inside her, filling her with his heat on a roar of carnal release. It was in those final moments that he let go and took her how he had dreamed of for years. He staked his claim roughly in a hunger to reach her soul. His roughness verged on brutal and he boldly branded her as his.

He slumped on top of her, breathing harshly as he felt Rachel’s nails cut crescent moons into his back. The night drifted around them in soft background sounds. He lifted himself to stare into her face before moving to her side.

Rachel snuggled against his warm body and smiled in drowsy sexual overindulgence as she wrapped her arm around his waist.

“Well, I can’t say I’m sorry for chasing your blonde bombshell Amy off.”

“Hmm,” he murmured as he traced sensual circles on her back.

“I mean, I totally get why she was pissed off.”

  “Do tell.”

“You’re one seriously hot Dom, Sir, and you fuck like you’re the creator of carnality.”

“It seems I didn’t quite manage to do it properly, though.”

Rachel blinked lazily up at him.

  “Meaning?”

She shrieked as he toppled her over and yanked her onto her knees.

“Ohhh, shiiit,” she wailed as he thrust deep inside her spasming pussy.

“Indeed, my little subbie. This time when I’m done, you won’t be able to breathe, let alone talk.”

  Chapter Nine

In the early morning three days later …

Fear owned Rachel in that split second before her eyes fluttered open. She sensed a presence in her room. One that hadn’t been there when she went to sleep. Her heart rattled wildly as she tried to keep her breathing even. She forced her eyes open in slits to peek around without moving her head. Her breath caught in her throat as a dark body suddenly loomed over her.

She tensed her muscles in preparedness to roll over and jump from the opposite side of the bed.

“Time to wake up, bitch.” The male voice cutting through the silence filled her with dread.

She tried to roll but he was prepared and fast; too damn fast for her.

“Ugh!” she gasped as he pressed his knee into her stomach, pinning her to the bed. His fingers dug painfully into her cheek. She bruised easily and expected the four blackened ovals would remain and discolor her skin long after the blood had dried from her veins.

“No!” The scream was stifled at best as she battled to breathe with his heavy weight holding her down. Her struggles were meek against his strength. She quieted as his heavy panting penetrated her terror filled mind. The bastard was enjoying her fear and by the labored breathing, he got excited by it—like an animal in heat.

“Personally, I don’t see the attraction.” His free hand trailed over her heaving breasts. The thin t-shirt she wore did nothing to protect her from his groping hands. “I like my women with more meat around their bones.” He snorted as he caught her hands in one of his and bound her wrist with zip ties.

The silence was heavy and filled with the horror of what was unfolding. Rachel’s mind was blank with fear. Screaming was fruitless. She glanced at the bedside clock. It was just after four in the morning. Even the ranch hands already at the stables wouldn’t hear her; it was too far.

  “What do you want?”

He didn’t respond. His huge body was enough to warn her not to fight or make a sound. His fingers did all the work as he grasped her jaw again, threatening to unhinge it if another sound were to leave her lips. The brightness of the moon was enough to identify the warning in the glacial look in the eyes that stared at her from behind the balaclava covering his face. It said with flashing clarity; shut the fuck up and stay quiet. This man was evil and wouldn’t think twice to hurt her. Rachel knew then, she was about to be taken. There was nothing she could do about it and if she wanted to keep her wits about her, she’d do as his look warned—remain silent.

He clamped a large hand over her mouth and nose as a sound from outside alerted him. Rachel struggled as he unknowingly cut off her ability to breathe. She kicked and clawed at his hands when she started to feel dizzy. Desperate to draw oxygen into her lungs, she managed to bite hard into the soft part of his hand. With a growling curse, he ripped his hand away from her mouth.

Her desire to scream for help was stemmed by the need to heave desperate breaths through her dry lips.

  Crack!

Pain exploded at the side of her face as his flat hand connected with her cheek.

“Bite me again, bitch, and you’ll arrive with a slash across your cheek,” he growled furiously. Rachel bore back as she felt the cold steel of a knife trace cruelly over her skin. There was no pain and she could breathe again as she realized he was using the blunt edge.

“I couldn’t breathe. You were suffocating me.”

“Shut the fuck up. Not another sound or you’ll get it.” He yanked her from the bed and pushed her in front of him down the hallway. Her body shuddered but she was helpless in his hard hold. She never prepared for something like this. She could shoot bett
er than any of the ranch hands, she could outrun most men, and if she had her wits about her, she might even fight her way out of any situation, although with this mountain of a man, she’d probably not achieve success. But those were predictable scenarios, not this random threat. It was the kind of randomness that worked on her mind as a torture, elevating primal fear, decreasing logic, and self-control.

She stumbled as he dragged her into the entrance hall. With lightning speed, she hunched down and kicked backwards, her heel connecting with his knee. He grunted in pain but didn’t release his hold on her arm as he bumped against the side table. The sound of the vase with flowers shattering to the floor was like a crack of thunder. With an animalistic growl, he shoved the table over.

“I fucking warned you, bitch.” His voice promised violence and pain as he towered over her. “You asked for this.” The growl preempted a rag being shoved into her mouth and a black cloth pulled over her head. She moaned as she was engulfed in a black void that made the situation even more frightening. “He doesn’t want you hurt but give me any more grief and you’ll feel the power of my fists. Do you fucking hear me, bitch?”

Rachel nodded fervently. Just the thought of those meaty fists pounding her made her cringe. She had at least one consolation; whoever was after her abduction didn’t want her hurt. It must mean that …

Her mind went blank as all the possibilities rushed through her brain at once. It could be that it was only a ploy to force her to sell her ranch, or … oh god! She’d read about a sex ring syndicate operating in Texas. What if she was intended to be sold as a sex slave?

Calm down, Rachel. You need to fucking calm down!

She stumbled as her legs became wobbly but the warning grunt in her ears forced her to walk under his guidance. She winced as he led her down the porch stairs and she stepped on a pebble. Her cry was muffled as he picked her up and threw her into the backseat.

  “Stay down.”

Rachel couldn’t move if she’d wanted to. He’d shoved her in so hard that she’d bumped her head against the door. She felt groggy and it wasn’t the best companion to the fear that clawed at her insides.

She strained against the zip ties, doing her best to alleviate the pain in her wrists. The bastard had made them too tight. Her nose filled with the musty scent of the sack that covered her head as her mind scrambled to keep track of the direction they were traveling. Perhaps it would give her some sign of what was to come.

By the time her abductor cut the engine, Rachel was completely lost. She suspected he’d deliberately driven in circles. Either to throw her off or to ensure they weren’t being followed.

He opened the door and dragged her out, ignoring her attempts to kick him.

“Fucking enough,” he grunted and heaved her over his shoulder and clamped her legs against his chest.

Rachel cried at the excruciating pain it brought to her bound wrists and arms. He scoffed at her efforts to squirm and ran up a flight of stairs. She sighed in relief when he dumped her on a soft bed and cut the zip ties, only to cuff one wrist to the bed. The clanging of steel indicated she was chained. She could feel panic setting in as he yanked off the hood and removed the gag. She blinked at the sudden brightness that burned into her eyes from the bedside lamp.

  “Water,” she whimpered. “Please.”

He pointed to the carafe on the table. “Help yourself.” He smirked as he looked her over. “He must be after money because those scrawny legs and arms are ugly.”

Rachel ignored him as she concentrated on not dropping the carafe; she was trembling like a leaf. Finally, she managed to take a couple of sips of water, sighing as it soothed the dryness of her mouth. When she looked up, the brute was gone.

Her eyes roamed over the room. It was stylish in shades of white, gray, and mint green that offset beautifully against the dark wood furniture.

“Where the hell am I? Who the fuck did this to me?”

Resigning herself not to receive an answer anytime soon, she lay back on the bed. She was calmer but still more afraid than she’d ever been in her life.

“I might as well try to sleep. At least that way I won’t fry my brain with thoughts of what lies ahead.”

She closed her eyes, but no matter what techniques she tried, she couldn’t drift off into much needed slumber. She went rigid at the sound of the door opening. Her eyelids fluttered but she held them closed. The trembling returned as she listened to the soft tread of footsteps approaching over the thick carpet. A shudder shook her body as a warm breath against her cheek alerted her to his closeness. Firm lips caressed her bruised cheek and she finally lost it. Her legs flailed as she kicked out and shoved at the body leaning over her.

“Get away from me, you bastard! Who the fuck—” Her eyes opened and her words cut off in her throat as she stared in disbelief at the dark blond man watching her silently. She struggled into a sitting position, completely thrown by his presence.

“Welcome to your new home, darling.”

“Will? What’s the meaning of this?” She rattled the chain she was cuffed to. “And this? Uncuff me.”

“I don’t think so. At least not until you’re committed to us.”

She stared aghast at him. “What are you talking about? There is no us. We had an agreement that mutually suited both of us.”

“Maybe it suited you, but I was prepared to play your game to give you time to get used to me.” His lips twisted in an ugly sneer. “But then you gave in to that bastard Scott.” He snorted at her surprised expression. “Yes, darling, I know all about your dinner date and that you only left his house the next morning.” He leaned forward and smiled. “I couldn’t leave it at that, and you had to feel the hurt I did realizing that you had fucked him. What better way to punish you than with your beloved horses?”

“No,” Rachel gasped and shook her head. “You slaughtered them?”

“And took great pleasure doing so. If only you’d sold that fucking ranch to Whitlock Incorporated, this would’ve never happened.”

“You’re behind that too?” Rachel was becoming more confused by the second. This wasn’t the Will she’d come to know over the years. The man who had been her friend, was gentle, caring and … clearly not who she’d believed him to be.

“You had to learn.” His eyes grew dark and intense. “But then you had to go back to the bastard and spend another night in his bed, gorging yourself on his cock.” He paced around angrily. “That couldn’t continue and I had to change my plan of forcing you off the ranch and into my arms. I had to take drastic measures.”

He approached the bed and leaned forward to spit in her face. “You belong with me, Rachel, and I refuse to let anything stand in my way to make you my wife. All the years I waited and after your parents died, I started planning our future.” He gestured around the luxurious room. “I’m five million in debt because I had the kind of home built we deserve to live in, to be the upstanding couple of the community. The least you can do is repay me by marrying me and sharing your inheritance to pay the bond.” His eyes glittered with greed. “It’s time to thank me for my patience, darling. I deserve to live a life of luxury.”

“You’re demented,” she whispered as she stared at him. Where she’d always thought him to be attractive with his wavy dark blond hair, his tall and well-defined body, dark brown eyes, and easy smile, now he looked like a man possessed. His lips were pressed in a thin line and his face pulled into an ugly sneer.

“All I am is after what I deserve. I was your little lap dog, whimpering and sniffing at your loins on your command. I did it because I knew the day would come that I would be rewarded. Well, my dear, that day has come. We’re getting married.”

“Will, please listen to me. You can’t force me to marry you!”

“Can’t I? Let’s see if I can change your mind, darling. What would be better? You as my wife, willing and a hell of a lot wilder than you’ve been to date …” He cackled out an ugly laugh. “Yes, my expectations of sex
have changed, my dear.” He tapped a nail against his teeth. “Where was I? Oh yes, either you marry me, or I will burn Wolf Creek Equestrian Vista to the ground—after I’ve herded every animal into the stables.” He squared his shoulders and offered a broad smile at her horrified look. “I’ll give you time to decide.” He gestured to the en suite bathroom. “The chain is long enough, so feel free to use the bathroom. Don’t bother trying to open the windows to draw attention. They’ve been welded closed.” He sauntered toward the door. “Be good and I might decide to feed you later.”

“Your expectation about my inheritance is wrong, Will. I don’t have the kind of money to cover your debt.”

He stopped in his tracks and spun about. “I’m not an idiot, Rachel. I kept track of all the costs of improvements you’ve done over the years. Keeping that place afloat takes a lot of money and the income generated is vast as it is. I know you were the sole beneficiary of your parents’ estate.”

“Yes, and the income generated is what I use to run the ranch but my inheritance was less than three million dollars.”

“Bullshit!” His eyes went wild. “You spent close to a million a year on donations to child charities. Do you think I’m stupid?”

Rachel stared at him with a sad expression in her eyes. Greed was such an ugly driver. “My mother knew I’d honor her desire to keep the good work going that she had strived to offer destitute children a better life. The donations are paid from a trust my parents set up in their will. I can’t touch that money, Will.”

His expression turned thunderous as he bellowed. “You’re lying! Just for that, you’ll go hungry for the rest of the day. Enjoy your solitude, Rachel, and think of ways you’re going to service my cock tonight.”

Rachel stared at the door slamming closed behind him. She struggled to comprehend the turn of events. Mainly because she couldn’t associate the man she’d known and been intimate with for so long to the greedy monster who had abducted her.
