I put the drawing down on the counter and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Hmm, that is a good question, Lucas. Let me think about that for a minute…”
He kissed my cheek, and I grinned, loving the feeling of his mouth on my skin.
“My bestest people…” I started. “Well, I do really like Nicola, and I like Vicky, too…” I paused as he lowered his mouth to my neck. “And Mum and Dad, of course… oh, and Stacey… I really like Stacey…”
I sucked in a breath as he dropped his kiss to my tits, tugging my dress down just enough to free my bra.
“And who else?” I whispered. “Who else is on my bestest, bestest list?”
“How about you show me who else is on your bestest, bestest list?” he asked, and there was that growl in his throat I couldn’t resist.
My belly was fluttering, and my heart was racing, and I wanted him so much it made me dizzy.
I pulled away long enough to finish my juice, and then I giggled and ran, racing past him and bounding upstairs like a horny teenager, poking my tongue out at him over my shoulder.
He caught me before the bedroom doorway, scooping me up from my feet and carrying me over to the bed while I giggled.
He dropped me backwards and lowered himself down on top, and his body was so hot and so firm, and so fierce as his hands worked their magic.
“What delicious dirty panties do you have on for me this evening?” he asked, and he was already kissing his way down and tugging my dress up to answer his own question.
White lace.
His favourite.
The slip of the thong had been pressing tight between my ass cheeks all evening at girls’ night, and I knew they’d be messy. I knew he’d love them for it.
And he did.
His breath turned ragged as his face arrived down between my thighs, and I was desperate for it. Desperate for him.
He ran a thumb over the crotch, pressing tight against my slit.
“Who did you say was one of your bestest, bestest people?” he asked, and I couldn’t hold back a moan.
He worked his thumb in circles, and I could feel the heat of his breath through the lace, and I needed it. I needed it so damn bad.
“You,” I whispered. “You are my bestest, bestest person, Lucas. You always have been.”
His mouth landed hard, and I was ready, arching myself under him to get as much as I could.
“Be my bestest person, Lucas,” I told him. “Make me come really hard.”
“Oh, I’ll be your fucking bestest,” he said, and did it.
His tongue was divine, and his hands were so strong as he held my ass cheeks, and I came for him. I came for him so hard there was white behind my eyes, and my heart was in my temples, and my clit was sparking like dynamite.
Then he came up and kissed me, with a mouth that tasted of me, and a hunger in his tongue that set me on fire all over again.
He slipped my dirty knickers down my thighs and rubbed them against his cock, and I knew what was coming. I always knew what was coming.
“Open wide,” he said, and I did.
I opened my mouth nice and wide and kept my eyes on his while he worked his dick sheathed in dirty white lace and aimed it right up to my face.
I sucked him, deep and wet until he shot his load, the delicious taste of his cock, and me, and drips of precum through lace. His balls tensed, and his breaths quickened, and I was begging through slurps.
Yes, yes please. Yes, please. Please, Lucas, now.
“Good girl,” he growled, and gave me what I wanted. A mouthful of his cum through the crotch of my knickers, and he was right down and at me, his fingers pushing it deeper and deeper, right the way to the back of my throat. “Don’t you dare swallow,” he said, and I murmured my agreement.
He was already hard again when he repositioned himself. His thrust inside me came so naturally that I was already grinding back up and at him to meet his hips.
It was hard. Fast. A rhythm that spoke to my soul.
So was his tongue in my mouth along with wet lace and cum.
That was a rhythm that spoke to my soul too.
My arms were holding him so tight, and his body was so hot against mine, I could’ve stayed there forever, entangled with him in perfect bliss.
I came before he did, mouth still full of knickers, and cum, and tongue. A bucking, moaning mess of joy as he picked up pace and reached his own thrusting high.
I was grinning as soon as I swallowed, pulling the lace from my mouth and tossing it up at his chest as he grinned back down at me.
“Another one for the never to be washed pile,” I laughed at him. “I need to get a subscription order from Panties R Us at this rate.”
“You’d get an order from Cum on Demand at the same time,” he laughed back, and dropped down at my side.
He took my hand and kissed my knuckles, and I grinned up at the ceiling, catching my breath.
“Have I ever told you that you’re amazing?” I said to him, and he laughed fresh.
“Have I ever told you that you’re amazing too?” he said to me, and I couldn’t hold back the post orgasm giggles.
“Hopefully my dad will be telling you you’re amazing over dinner tomorrow, hey? We can dream.”
We laughed together into the night, me rolling into his side and him holding me tight.
It was so easy to fall asleep like that, happy. So happy my heart could fly.
This was me.
This was him.
This was us.
And finally, it was forever.

Lucas
I was as edgy as a naughty schoolboy as we made our way up Jim and Terri Blackwell’s front path.
I was suited and booted, and my shoes were polished, and I felt like this was prom night and I was waiting for parental approval.
Anna had a bunch of flowers for her mum. Lovely yellow roses with a box of chocolates for the dining table after lunch.
I had me. Just me.
Me and a whole bundle of nerves.
She knocked on the door and I held my breath.
It was Terri who answered, hair tied back in a messy bun and a bright pink apron around her waist.
She was just like I remembered, and my belly lurched at the memories.
I wasn’t expecting her to pull me in for a hug after squeezing Anna tight. I wasn’t expecting a Lucas, nice to see you as she let me go and gestured us inside.
Anna was grinning as we headed on through to the living room, and there he was. Jim. Every bit the strong shouldered gentleman I remembered, just a little more grey.
My mouth was dry, and my heart was pounding, and I’m sure my forehead must have been clammy with sweat as he stepped on over to meet us.
I was ready with a whole rush of apologies, and assurances that I’d be different this time, and how I was a monster for ever hurting Anna the way I did, and I’d never be doing it for anyone, ever again.
I didn’t need them.
He grabbed my hand and shook it hard, and his eyes were firm in their stare as they met mine.
But they weren’t angry.
I was truly shocked when he let my hand go and slapped me on the back on the way through to the dining room. Anna was already up ahead and handing over the roses to her mum, and Jim held me back in the doorway, leaning on in with his voice down low.
“I heard Sebastian Maitland had a pounding on the jaw,” he said. “Know anything about that?”
I shrugged. “He sure had one due to him.”
“Yeah, Lucas. He sure did.”
We watched the women laughing at the side of the dining table and arranging the roses in a vase.
Jim spoke again, and his voice was so much nicer than I ever expected to hear it.
“Sebastian was cursing your name, so I heard. Seemed pretty certain you were the one who landed him behind bars.”
“Sebastian is a paranoid asshole,” I said, but I was smirking.
Jim slapped my back again, and his eyes were smiling. “Glad you floored the vile prick,” he said. “I’m grateful you gave the piece of shit what he deserved.”
“So am I,” I said, and my heart did a flutter to see the woman I loved giggling with her mum.
“Ten years can make a lot of difference,” Jim told me. “I think sometimes people deserve another chance to right their wrongs.”
“I won’t be making any more wrongs,” I told him. “Not where Anna is concerned, I swear.”
“Good,” he said, and walked us through to the dining room. “Because believe me, Lucas, if there’s another wrong to be righted, I’ll be righting it my fucking self.”
“You’d be very welcome to,” I told him, and thanked my lucky fucking stars when he got me a beer.

Anna
You know, it’s a strange thing.
There’s so much in life you think is toxic. You think you know so much about what you are allergic to, and what is bad for you, and evil and poisonous.
So many people tell you what to avoid, and what will do you harm, and what is setting out to destroy you.
But poison is often in the places we least expect it.
Sometimes the antidote looks like the curse, and sometimes the curse looks like the cure.
And after all that – a decade of twists and turns – there was one thing definitely for sure…
Lucas Pierce wasn’t the poison.
Lucas Pierce was the cure, the antidote for a better life, and a future full of nothing but love.
THE END
Acknowledgments
This has been quite an intense few years.
That’s an understatement.
Losing Jon, and trying to find my feet again, through to my epilepsy diagnosis and starting on treatment, and finding my whole personality coming back to me.
Thank fuck, it did come back to me.
And with it came Poison.
It’s eaten me up in the most delicious way I know. Through the words.
But that wouldn’t have been able to happen without a whole ocean of support from so many people close to me.
The biggest support for this novel came from the man who all out inspired it.
Timmy, you are an incredible human being, and I love you in ways I never expected to feel again. I can only thank you for so many things about this creation – not least for putting your mouth on the cover. That’s quite a thank you due in your direction.
John, for editing, as always. You are such a support to me, and your feedback is insanely valuable. Thank you. That’s John Hudspith, to anyone looking for editing services. You won’t regret it.
Letitia, your cover work always blows me away. This one is another that had me open mouthed and so happy I could burst. Thank you! That’s RBA Designs, everyone. She’s fantastic.

About Jade
Jade has increasingly little to say about herself as time goes on, other than that she is an author, but she’s plenty happy with that fact. Living in imaginary realities and having a legitimate excuse is really all she’s ever wanted.
Jade is as dirty as you’d expect from her novels, and talking smut makes her smile.
Since recently being diagnosed with epilepsy she’s adjusting to a new life and enjoying the meds very much.
She’s also trying to get her hair rainbow coloured through the help of an incredibly talented hairdresser – thanks, Megan. That hairdresser discovered for herself earlier this week that talking smut very definitely does make Jade smile.
