“Good call,” said Jack.
Together, the seven of them went out to the penthouse patio. It was a warm, spring day, the sun shining brightly over the city.
“Know I say it all the time,” said Jack. “But I love you, Sarah.”
Adrian planted a kiss on her forehead. “And you know I do, too.”
“Hell,” said Hunter, Oliver cooing and reaching up to grab his beard. “Love you like crazy.”
“And I love you all,” said Sarah, kissing each man before kissing each baby.
As she looked out over the city, her kingdom, Sarah still couldn’t believe where her life had led her. But as she regarded her family, she knew she wouldn’t trade it for the world. There would be danger ahead—life in the shifter world was never without it. But she was ready for anything.
A new day dawned, and love filled her heart. Nothing could’ve been better.
