by Maggie Walsh
Oberon is a vampire living in the frozen Tundra with a pack of wolves that have treated him better than anyone ever before in his life, including his own family, but the move has been causing chaos, not only with his feedings and his sleep, but with his desires. Living with a pack of wolves who embrace their dominant and submissive sides is hard on a man who, deep down, craves submission, but is always forced to be the one on top.
While Oberon tries to deal with a dark past filled with torture, pain, and rejection, he has a hard time ignoring his dark desires when the sexy beta, Legion, is near. Legion does things to him that make Oberon feel ashamed, but the man pushes every button for him, causing Oberon to have to fight his cravings even harder.
Legion knows there is another out there for him and his boys, Taavi and Sauli, and he promises to do everything in his power to find him. When he meets the large, sexy vampire, something about Oberon calls to Legion on a base level, and his dominant side takes over.
After a very hot and heated encounter with the vampire, Legion now knows that Oberon is a true submissive, but he doesn’t know why the man fights it so much. He makes a promise to find out and draw out Oberon’s dark needs. Legion doesn’t know for sure if Oberon is the true mate they have been looking for, but he has a feeling deep down in his soul that his, Sauli, and Taavi‘s search is over. Now all they have to do is convince the scarred vampire that they belong together.

Dedication
As always with my Tundra Wolves Series, I want to give a big thanks to Master Black, Master Jeff, Jen, Mike G, Nick, and Master Mitch for all your help with the BDSM aspect of these stories. I hope I continue to do you proud with each book and bring some authenticity to the BDSM lifestyle, even though a few things had to change because of the shifter aspect of these books. You have opened my eyes and have brought me a greater understanding of both a Dominant and a submissive, as well as BDSM as a whole. I am honored to call you all friends and so grateful for all of your kindness, openness, and help.
A special thanks to Mike G. for answering some very deep questions and helping me to understand the needs of a submissive and what it means to gift that to another. I hope I made it clear in this story.

CHAPTER 1
Legion
From the moment he had met the man, over a month ago, Legion had felt an attraction to the vampire. He and Lysander had been sent to meet up with Fane and Oberon at the meeting cabin that sat in the center of the two lands for his and the Heart packs, and to escort them back to Alpha Dell’s to meet with the man and see if they could join the York Pack.
That night, even though Legion had felt the attraction, he hadn’t shown the man any interest, and ignored his feelings. He had thought it was only because the man was extremely sexy, so who wouldn’t be interested? The big vampire wasn’t normally his type, but there was no denying that he had felt an attraction, but Legion also had two very special men waiting for him back home that he loved more than anything in the world, and he would never dishonor or disrespect them. His boys were his everything and he would never risk losing them. Yet, when word got around that Marlo, one of the cute little omegas of the pack and assistant to Alpha Dell, had found his true mate in Fane Heart, cousin to the alpha of the Heart Pack, it made Legion rethink everything.
After Tug, Raiden, and Alex had realized they were true mates, Legion and his babies all started to wonder if they too were actually true mates. What Dell had told the pack was that some of their people already in committed relationships might be, but had yet to find all the members of their mating, and once they did and all were in the same place at the same time, their pheromones or something would combine, and in that moment they would all know.
Legion had a theory that seeing as more people in the pack were finding their true mates, that it meant something had changed in their world. Up until now and for the past two hundred or more years, it had been damn near impossible to find a true mate. Some had, but it was extremely rare, yet now it was happening almost monthly. Since Caleb and Alpha Heart, true mates, had mated a year and a half ago, five other members of the York pack had found their true mates as well. First Bo, who found his true mate in Alpha Heart’s beta, his second—a guy named Jag. Then Tug, Raiden, and Alex, all of the York Pack had found each other, and now Marlo had found his true mate in Alpha Heart’s cousin.
Legion would say it had something to do with the York and Heart Packs joining, because of the mating connecting the two packs so far, but Tug, Raiden, and Alex’s mating threw a wrench in that theory. But maybe the fact that because their two packs were now legally registered with the Council as sister packs, it was opening up more opportunities for their members to meet, so that meant more of a chance to find a true mate. It actually made sense if he thought about it. Fated mates being of the same breed. Tundra Wolves with Tundra Wolves. Not too many other breeds could make it here in their frozen home, so maybe that was the Gods’ plan, but then, why was he so attracted to the hot vampire?
With all these matings and then the meeting with the Council, a witch leader, and a vampire leader, Legion was sure something big was coming to their world, and he was positive today’s assembly with the whole pack was going to explain what was happening.
Legion reached down and placed a hand on each of his boys’ shoulders and gave them an encouraging squeeze. He knew both Sauli and Taavi were nervous about what the Alpha had to say. It had been awhile since Dell had called a pack meeting like this, and Legion had a gut feeling that they were about to get an earful, and probably something eye opening.
The door to the left at the front of the room opened and Legion turned his attention to those entering. Jude walked through first, then Fane, their newest beta, and after him was the vampire leader that had been there the previous month for that council meeting, and last, Dell walked in looking very serious and formidable.
“Alpha Dell looks intimidating today, Master,” Taavi whispered low, and Legion could feel a shiver race through him.
He leaned over and placed his lips to Taavi’s ear and whispered, “Yes he does, baby, but don’t worry, no matter what he has to say, everything will be okay.” L
egion placed a kiss on his cheek, then did the same with Sauli, before he straightened again. He looked back to the front of the room, but felt eyes upon him and Legion searched out where the feeling was coming from. Quickly his gaze fell back on the hot vampire and found that Oberon was watching him too.
When Oberon realized Legion was looking at him, the big man quickly shifted his gaze away and focused on Dell. Legion smirked from the move. The man might be big, but damn if he wasn’t submissive. Legion really liked that in his men. His men? Shit, Oberon wasn’t his, but…
Before he could finish the thought, Dell started speaking, drawing his full attention to his leader.
~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~
Taavi
“What did that mean, Legion? I mean, I understood everything the Alpha said, but does that mean we’re getting a lot of new people in the pack?” Taavi asked. His body was humming with excitement thinking of all the new people that would possibly be moving to the pack soon, but he was also nervous. New people could sometimes mean trouble and would it mean they would all find their mates? And that those mates wouldn’t be each other? He didn’t know what he would do if he lost Legion and Sauli.
Legion finished taking his boots off and made his way to the couch, dropping down on it before he looked to him and Sauli, then motioned for them to join him. Immediately they both moved to Legion’s side and he grabbed their wrists and pulled them down onto his lap. He and Sauli wiggled around a bit until they were both comfortable pressed against their Master’s chest with their legs entwined. Taavi took Sauli’s hands in his and Sauli cuddled into him as well.
Legion began to play with their hair, like he always did, and Taavi closed his eyes. He loved when Legion did that. It always relaxed him, except when Legion pulled his hair during sex, then it turned him on. Legion insisted he and Sauli keep their hair long. Their Master loved long hair, and because of that, all three of them had long hair. Legion’s blond hair was a gorgeous creamy-toffee color and went to his waist, but he either kept it in a braid or a man bun, unless he was home. Sauli’s chestnut-brown hair was the longest, reaching his thighs. His own blond hair was a bit darker than Legion’s, more like a butter pecan, that reached his ass. When they all got entangled, Taavi thought it was one of the sexiest things he had ever seen. He had even taken a few pictures of all their hair together, loving the contrast.
“I know that what Dell talked about can be very scary with all these new paranormals coming to the area, but we have to trust Dell. He’s our alpha and a good man. We know he would never do anything to place any of us in harm's way. I also know that if any of these people cause a problem that Dell will send them packing faster than they know what hit them. So, until that happens, let’s not invite problems, okay? We’ll deal with things as they happen.”
“But what if…” Sauli started, but quickly stopped and turned his face against Legion’s chest. Taavi had a feeling he knew exactly where Sauli’s mind had gone. Just where his had. Would this be the end of them?
“What has my babies so upset?” Legion asked as he placed a finger under Sauli’s chin and raised his head. Taavi wanted to cry when he saw the tears in Sauli’s eyes. Taavi loved these two men more than anything else in the world and couldn’t stand to see either of them hurting.
Sauli swallowed as he looked into Legion’s eyes then admitted, “What if... what if with all these people coming... we... you... us…” Sauli started crying then, and Taavi’s own tears built in his eyes. Legion leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Sauli’s lips.
“That’s not going to happen, baby boy.”
“But, what if it does, Legion?” Taavi asked, as a tear of his own rolled down his cheek.
Legion pulled his hand from Taavi’s hair and cupped his cheek, then gave him a tender kiss. “One, because I am never letting either of you go. We all belong together. I know it. I can feel it. Can’t you?”
He and Sauli both nodded, as Taavi replied, “Yes, but…”
Legion placed his fingers over Taavi’s lips and gave him a stern look. “There are no buts. I know what you’re both worried about, that with all these new people coming in that one of us will find a true mate and have to leave the others, but what did I tell you before?”
“That you think we’re already mates, and we just need to find that other person or persons, like Tug did with Raiden and Alex,” Sauli replied with a hiccup.
Legion smiled lovingly at him. “That’s right. I do believe that with everything that I am. The connection between us is so strong that I think the gods made us for one another. We just have to wait for that other person to come along.”
Taavi looked down at his and Sauli’s joined hands and quietly asked, “But what if that doesn’t happen?”
Legion grabbed his chin in a tight grip and made Taavi look at him. “I said no buts. I know. Now, do you both trust me?”
Taavi and Sauli both nodded frantically as they replied, “Of course.”
“Then trust me with this. Besides, what did I tell you about that guy, Oberon?”
“That you thought that maybe there was something there because of the way he looks at you and the way you find him just as sexy as you do us,” Sauli answered as he cuddled against Legion’s chest.
“I saw you looking at him at the meeting, and I don’t know, Master. He’s... big, like you and we’re... well, twinks. I thought you liked twinks,” Taavi said, his voice sad. He knew Legion loved them and would never cheat, but knowing that he found someone else attractive made Taavi nervous. What if Legion really did like bigger guys instead?
Legion kissed him again, then smiled. “Yes, he’s big, but that has nothing to do with submission or Dominance, and I have a feeling that big vampire is a power bottom and very submissive. Annnd, there’s something about him that calls to me, which makes me wonder if he may be that missing piece we’re looking for. I need to spend some time with him and see if there is a connection. If there is, then like we agreed, I’ll set up a meeting for all of us to be in the same place at the same time. Whether he is a bottom or a top doesn’t really mean anything to us if he’s not our other partner waiting for us, but you know there is only one way to find out. Either way, I don’t want you two worrying about anything. You two are my babies and the sexiest men I have ever seen. And most importantly, I love you both with all my heart and I hope you know that.”
Taavi smiled brightly as he cuddled into Legion as well. He did know that both Legion and Sauli loved him just as deeply as he loved them. “Yes, Legion. I know you love us. I’m sorry.”
Legion wrapped his arms around them again and pulled them both in tight. “There’s nothing to be sorry for, baby. With all these changes going on, it’s only natural to have some questions as well as have a few fears, but we three have none of that to worry about. I know deep in my heart and soul that we’re made to be together, so no matter what happens, we always have each other. I’ve already bitten you both to claim you as mine, whether my mark shows or not, you belong to me. For always.”
Taavi loved the sound of that. He knew they were only inviting trouble with all these worries. He never doubted Legion or Sauli’s love for him, or his for them. He only prayed that Legion was right and they did have someone out there who was also meant to be a part of what they shared, and that person would bind them all together. Legion was so positive about it that Taavi knew he had to have faith as well.
“What are you going to do when you find him?” Sauli asked, as he rubbed his cheek against Legion’s chest.
“I want to talk to him, get to know him a little. See if he would actually be a fit for us. If he is our true mate, the one to bind us all together, then he should be compatible with us and what we like, but we’ll never know if I don’t talk to him,” Legion replied.
“But you said you tried that once and he ran,” Taavi said nervously. He wanted to believe this man Legion spoke about was their mate, so that they could be together forever, but he was still worried that this vampire gu
y wasn’t the one. And if he was, how were they going to deal with having a vampiric mate? Legion said that when it came to true mates nothing like that should matter. He said the Gods made our mate to be perfect for us so whatever breed he was wouldn’t make a difference, but Taavi was a bit scared. He had never met a vampire before and wondered if he would bite them and suck all their blood.
“Yes, he did run, but I think it was because he was afraid of how his body was reacting to me. Remember, he’s new to the pack and he’s not a Tundra Wolf, he’s a vampire, so maybe he’s nervous about our differences. Again, I’ll have to spend some time with him to find out.”
“Okay, Master, we trust you,” Sauli said and kissed Legion’s chin.
Taavi smiled and agreed, “Of course we do, Master. We’ll always trust you.”
“How about we get some dinner, then cuddle up and watch a movie tonight?” Legion asked.
Sauli straightened up quick, his eyes all aglow with excitement. “Can we, please? You’ve been working so hard lately and we’ve missed you, Master.”
Legion brushed a hand over Sauli’s head as he smiled. “I’ve missed my boys too. It’s been awhile since we had a whole night together. How about after the movie we take a bath together, and if my boys are really good, Master will play with you all night and show you just how much he loves you.”
Taavi and Sauli both squealed as they threw their arms around their Master and each other and held on tight and both cried out, “Yes! Yes, yes, yes!” over and over again.
CHAPTER 2
Oberon
“Fucking hell. I don’t know how much more of this I can take,” Oberon whispered under his breath to himself, as he stood at the bar waiting to get Tug’s attention. The big bartender’s little mate, Alex, knelt on the floor behind the bar with his hands tied behind his back. He wore a damn kilt and a harness across his chest but nothing else. The little cutie was looking up at his mate with so much love in his eyes that Oberon was sure Alex thought Tug hung the Moon, as Tug stood over him and brushed his thumb over Alex’s cheek and ordered him to stay where he was until their other mate, Raiden, came to bring him home.
