“Oh, sweet baby Jesus.” Tori groans from beside me. Judging by her tone, she just saw another hot guy on the beach. I swear to God, the girl has made me look up from my kindle at least a dozen times since we got here an hour ago. She swats at my arm, but I ignore her, I’m going to finish this book if it kills me.
When she does it again, I look up at her and scowl. “What the hell is wrong with you? You begged me to go to the beach with you today, even though I just got off a fourteen-hour shift, when all I wanted to do today was sleep and read, then sleep some more. I’m here, now let me relax.”
“But-”
“I mean this in the best way possible Tor, you’re like a dog in heat. Either stop being shy and go talk to one of them-”
“Will you shut up and just look?” She says while laughing and rolling her eyes. She points behind me where she wants me to look, and I turn, then immediately realize why she made such a big deal. Sucking in a breath, I stare at the man that has been starring in all of my fantasies lately. I have no idea who he is or what his name is, but he has to be the hottest guy I’ve ever seen. He’s got dark hair and eyes, with a small amount of scruff on his face. What would it feel like against my skin? I’m five foot five, and he’s got to be at least a foot taller than I am.
The first time I saw him was when he was wheeling a guy out of an ambulance and into the emergency room. Now when an extra shift comes up in the emergency room, I take it, hoping to see him again. I’ve seen him a dozen times since then, and every time I do, it’s like I can’t breathe. Each and every time, my eyes gravitate to him, and it’s as if I’m spellbound. He’s always smiling and joking around with whoever he’s talking to. Last week he was bringing in a little girl who had broken her arm at school. He stayed and comforted her until her parents made it to the hospital.
What’s worse is I’ve totally built him up in my head to be this amazing guy. One night while Tori and I were drinking, I made the mistake of telling her about him. Now she won’t stop bugging me. She’s convinced that I need to talk to him, but I wouldn’t know where to start. A man as good looking as him probably has a wife or at the very least a girlfriend.
“Isn’t that the new EMT?” Tori asks innocently and immediately annoys the hell out of me since she knows exactly who he is.
I ignore her and watch him set up his chair, then lay his towel on the back of it. Like my best friend, I’m now in heat, watching as he applies his sunscreen over his tan arms and down his chest and over his abs. No man has a right to look as delicious as he does. He’s with a few other guys, some that I’ve seen working with him at the hospital, all equally as muscular as he is. My heart starts to race, but I can’t tear my eyes away. When his eyes connect with mine, and he winks, I turn away quickly, mortified that I got caught staring at him.
“You should go talk to him,” Tori says wearing the biggest cat ate the canary grin on her face.
“That’s not happening.”
“You are such a hypocrite, Summer. You give me crap all the time about being shy around guys, but you’re the virgin here.”
“It was one time Tori, and you didn’t even enjoy it. You said the whole thing lasted less than five minutes. It’s not like you can call yourself experienced.”
She scrunches up her nose and shakes her head. “It was so bad. Whoever said, just getting it over with was a good idea, was wrong!”
The face she makes has me bursting out laughing. “Oh my god, this is why I love you!”
“In all seriousness, are you going to let this opportunity pass you by?”
I shrug. “Look at him, Tor. He’s sexy as hell. There’s no way he doesn’t have a girlfriend.”
“You never know until you ask.”
Instead of answering her, I change the subject. “It’s hot, you want to go cool off?”
“Umm, yes, please!” She springs up from her position on her towel and waits for me to put my kindle in my bag. Once I’m set, we walk to the shore, me purposely ignoring the hot as hell EMT. We’re almost to the shore when two guys stop us.
“How’s it going ladies?” The dark haired one asks.
“Oh, it’s going, just about to enjoy the water.”
“We can enjoy it with you if you’d like.” His friend says, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
Are they serious? They’re tall and good looking, but the way they’re looking at us makes me want to walk away and never turn back. Their whole look screams player, and I’m so not about that life. I roll my eyes and walk off, not interested in whatever lines they are going to throw out. I loop my arm through Tori’s and walk toward the water.
“Fuck you too, bitch!” One of the guys yells, loud enough that other people on the beach can hear.
Unable to help myself, I give him the one finger salute as I walk away and into the ocean. We swim out far enough that we aren’t near any of the kids and can just talk without being heard.
“What an asshole!” Tori hisses beside me.
“Yeah, no kidding.”
“You’re so not a bitch Summer. Not usually anyway, only when you’re cranky, or you’ve worked a double shift, sometimes when you’re on your period-”
“Tori, stop talking.” I groan.
She bursts into giggles beside me. “You’re too easy to rile up. Relax, those guys were total douchebags!”
“Sorry if you wanted to talk to them.”
She splashes water at me. “Just because I find so many guys attractive does not mean I’m whoring it up. The last time I went on a date was with Aaron, and that was over two months ago.”
“I’m just busting your chops. Please tell me he hasn’t called you anymore.” I get worried when she looks away and shrugs. “Has he Tor?”
“Don’t freak out Summer. He hasn’t called me in over a month…”
I watch her and can tell there’s more. “I feel like there’s a but coming.”
She winces. “He’s texted me a few times asking to meet up and talk. He said he was sorry. I’ve ignored him, though. I just wish he’d leave me alone.”
The longer we talk, the closer we drift back to shore. The sounds of those around us get louder, and near the shore, I hear some guys laughing. When I look over, he’s there, maybe twenty feet from us, throwing a football with some of his friends. Oh, sweet baby Jesus is right. Damn, with his dark hair, just long enough for me to run my fingers through and beads of water covering his body I can’t look away. He shouldn’t look this good wet, whoever he calls his, is a very lucky woman.

Seeing nurse Jones in her scrubs is hot as fuck, but seeing her in her high-waisted bikini has me sporting wood. The woman has a perfect hourglass figure, with huge tits, a tiny waist, and a thick ass and thighs. I’m half in love with her already. Now if I could get her alone long enough to ask her out and get to know her better.
I recently transferred to Hilton Head’s Fire Rescue squad less than two months ago. Moving here from New York was a culture shock, to say the least. My first call, a three-car accident on the business route of 278, should have been routine. We had a couple of scrapes and bruises, but an older gentleman ended up going into cardiac arrest as we got on scene. He’s lucky we were there and were able to start resuscitation immediately. When we arrived at the hospital, it was almost three in the morning, and Summer was the first person I saw, waiting by the ambulance bay to assist us. She went about her duties before I had a chance to talk to her. Man, her beauty haunts me. Each subsequent visit hasn’t allowed for it either. Every time I’ve seen her, something terrible was going on, it is a hospital after all.
Now that she’s here, free of the restraints of our jobs, this seems like a good place to ask her out. Having just gotten out of the water myself, I take a moment to watch her out of the corner of my eye. She splashes her friend, who just laughs at her. When they reach the water's edge, she walks out like a goddess. Fuck, my cock hardens immediately as I shamelessly watch the water drip down her body in rivulets. I want to be that water rolling down her tan skin.
This is my chance. I throw the football to my buddy Chase, and walk towards the girls, intent on finally talking to her. Summer and Tori stop a few feet from me. While Her friend is wearing a cheesy grin, Summer looks ready to bolt.
“Summer, right?” I ask.
“Yes. How’d you know that?” She asks, then licks her lips as her eyes travel appreciatively down my body.
I’m so lost in watching her tongue slip back into her mouth that I almost miss her question. “It’s a small hospital.” She quirks her eyebrow and folds her arms under her full tits, making her bathing suit top move and reveal more of her cleavage. She clears her throat, getting my attention, and I grin at her knowing she caught me checking her out. “When I couldn’t get a minute alone with you, I asked Janice at the front desk. I’m Drake by the way.” I stick my hand out for her to shake, she hesitates but eventually takes my hand. Lifting her hand, I place a kiss on the top of it. When I look up, she’s blushing.
“Janice is a ball buster, but I guess after being a nurse for thirty years, she’s earned that right. She must have seen something good in you if you got her to give you my name.”
“I’m pretty sure she just got tired of me asking every time I came in. I’d like to take you out tonight, are you free?”
When she doesn’t say anything, her friend elbows her in the side. Summer glares at her, and her friend glares right back. These two must be a riot together.
Summer turns back to me. “I’m free tonight,” she says blushing. Fuck, the blush starts high on her chest, the chest I am trying so hard not to stare at.
“Pick you up at eight?”
“Sure. I live at the Seascape on North Forest Beach Drive. Apartment, 3306.”
“Babe, I’ve got a good memory, but there is no way I will remember all of that. Can I give you my number, and you can text it to me?”
She laughs. “Right, sorry. Hold on, I’ll grab my phone, one sec.”
When she goes to get her phone, Tori turns to me. “Don’t be an asshole to her. She might seem like she has a hard shell, but that girl is all gooey on the inside. Don’t let her down.”
“I’m new around here, so you don’t know me, but that is the last thing I’d ever do. If on the off chance, this doesn’t work out between us, and I doubt it won’t, I’d never hurt her purposely.”
“I’m going to hold you to it.”
Summer walks back up and looks between us. “Everything ok?”
“Yes.” We answer in unison.
Summer rolls her eyes and doesn’t look convinced. “Right. I’m ready for your number.”
I rattle it off then tell her to call me so I have hers too and she does. When she goes to walk away, I call out to her. “Summer! Don’t forget to text me that address when you get a chance.”
She smiles, shyly, and nods. “See you tonight, Drake.”
“Can’t wait,” I say, walking backward towards my friends.
“Wait, what should I wear?” she calls out.
“Something to dance in,” I shout as I make it to my friends. I keep watch over her. As much as I want to talk to her, find out everything there is to know, what makes this beautiful woman tick, I give her space. The girls are there for another hour until they pack up their stuff and leave. When Summer sneaks a look at me as she’s going, I wink at her, and she waves quickly then looks away.
I spend the rest of the day at the beach, watching my buddies get rejected left and right from the girls they try to pick up. I can’t help laughing at the rejections.
After leaving the beach, I make reservations for a late dinner at Le Mark, a hot new restaurant on Main Street. After dinner, I plan to take her to Cirque, a night club down the block. It’s always packed, but it has an exciting atmosphere. I’ve been there a few times with my friends, and while it’s not my typical scene, I’d love to bring Summer there and dance with her.
While I’ve never been nervous before a date before, tonight is different. I’m not surprised to be feeling this way, everything about Summer is different. At precisely eight, I knock on her door, ready to finally have her to myself. When she opens the door, my mouth drops open for a second. The skin tight black dress leaves nothing to my imagination. It flares out from her knees in a slight flare.
“You look beautiful, Summer,” I finally say.
“Do I?” she asks, giving me a little spin.
“You do,” I reply.
“Thank you.”
“Shall we?” I hold my arm out to her. She links her arm with mine before closing and locking her front door.
In the car, we make small talk, getting to know each other. She is an only child, just as I am. She talks fast when she’s nervous, that I can tell right away. When we pull up to the restaurant, a valet comes over to the driver's side and lets me out. I walk around the car and open the passenger door, helping her out.
“This seems really fancy,” she says.
“It probably is. I’ve never been here before,” I say, smiling at her. She doesn’t let go of my hand as we walk into the restaurant.
“Welcome to Le Mark. What name is your reservation under?”
“Winston,” I say. The hostess looks down at the list on her podium.
“Excellent. Right this way,” she says, leading us to a small table for two. Once we’re seated, she hands us our menus. “Nicolai will be your waiter this evening. Take a look at the menu, and he’ll let you know tonight's specials.”
“Thank you,” Summer says, opening the menu. The hostess moves away from the table.
Opening my menu, I see that there is not one fucking thing I would eat on it. Most of it is in French, but what I can muddle through with my high school language courses, doesn’t even sound appealing.
“Um, Drake?” Summer asks peeking over her menu.
“Yeah,” I say.
“I can’t eat any of this stuff. I’m sorry,” she says.
“Are you a vegetarian?” I ask, almost worried.
“Oh, God, no. But I don’t think snails with chocolate sauce sounds too good to me,” she says giggling.
“Ooof, me either. What would you recommend?”
“You just moved here, right?” she asks, and I nod. “So you don’t know about the food trucks?”
“I do not know about the food trucks. Is that more than one food truck?”
“Oh, yes. About twenty-five of them. Anything you could possibly imagine, it’s out there.”
“Out, where
?”
“Planter’s Field. It’s about five minutes out of town.”
“Let’s go,” I say standing and holding out my hand to her.
“Really? Won’t it be rude if we just get up?”
“It probably is, but I’m starving, and I’m not eating anything here,” I say, shrugging.
“Me too,” she says, standing and placing her hand in mine. There is something about just how soft her skin is. I want to feel more of it. I need her under me, breeding her. Fuck, that’s the damn dream.
The valet brings the car back, and we take off. When we pull up to the makeshift parking lot, I am taken aback by the sheer amount of cars parked here.
“Whoa,” I say as we climb out of the car. I am assaulted with
many different delicious scents. I want to try them all.
“Where do you want to start? Tacos, pizza, barbecue?”
“Yes,” I say, and she giggles.
“So which one?” she asks.
“All of them sound good to me.”
“We are going to get along so well,” she says, taking my hand again. I am surprised at how comfortable we have instantly become with one another. Don’t get me wrong, that’s what I want with her. With her, I want it all. We stop at a pizza truck first, each getting a large slice. We take it, and the cokes we get to one of the picnic tables set up inside the giant circle made from the trucks. She takes her first bite of pizza and moans. It hits me straight in the balls.
“This is so good. Why are you staring at me? Do I have grease on my face or something?” she asks, setting her slice down and frantically wiping her face. I reach out my hand to still her.
“Baby. No. You don’t have any grease on your beautiful face.”
