If you reallllllyyy liked this book, enough to want to keep in touch with me, consider signing up for my newsletter! It’s pretty easy to do. You just click on this link:

And type in your name and email address! (Oh, and check “reader,” unless you want to learn how to write.) (You could also do both. I teach writing, so … that’s a thing.)

I didn’t get time to mention it, but this is Nettie’s favorite Bible verse:

“May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26, NKJV)

May God’s great and undeserved blessings fill your life!

  Acknowledgements

There are always so many people to thank for these projects that it’s almost impossible to include them all in a few paragraphs at the back of a novel.

This acknowledgements section is particularly difficult as I have gone through so many rewrites of this novel, so many beta readers, and even multiple editors, and I’ve had dozens of friends encourage and inspire me over the years.

The main people who come to mind to thank, however, are the people of YWP NaNoWriMo. If you ever stumble on this book, though we’ve fallen out of touch, I hope you know what a big help to me you were. I wouldn’t be an author without the community.

Of course my friends, Sonja, Eva, Sofie, Bailey, and Aimee, need a big round of applause. They were, after all, my first cheerleaders for this project.

I’d also like to thank Angela R. Watts and Andrea Cox for helping me make this novel the best it could be. Your edits were so helpful!

And thank you to Makenna Pithey, Hannah Mae Linder, and Carpe Librum Book Design. All three of these artists worked hard on an edition of The Dressmaker’s Secret’s cover.

But the biggest acknowledgement goes to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Chrsit. Thank You for letting me work on this project and nudging me to go back to it just one more time.
