Heels tinkled on the balcony above just as I wrenched the glass door open.

“Who’s there?” The woman’s voice from above chirped.

I stepped over the threshold and quietly slid the door shut behind me. Hurrying through the empty hotel room and out into the hallway where I calmly found the nearest exit for the stairs.

  The Dragon Shifter

Bodhi Remoussin watched from the window of their Island Hideaway as the snow piled on the slight yet muscular shoulders of Evangeline Midnight, his pink-haired girlfriend as she set aside her spiked hot cocoa. The tops of her naked cantaloup-sized breasts just barely breaking the steamy bubbling surface of the water as she laughed at something someone said, her breasts jiggling flirtatiously.

She was naked but she wasn’t alone... at least not for long.

Footsteps approached rapidly from behind and Bodhi felt his scales tighten, his hands automatically went to the fixed blade knife concealed at his side.

“You gonna… whoa! Easy there, boss. It’s just me,” Zephyr said, raising his hands in mock-defense.

“Jesus, kid. How many times do I have to tell you not to sneak up on me?”

“Sorry, it’s the whole vampire thing. It’s hard to slow down. Anyway, you gonna join us for hockey after lunch?”

Bodhi nodded, then stared over his shoulder waiting for Zephyr to leave again before turning back to the window.
