I led her to the armchair, where I had already threaded the silk ribbon through the hook. “I’m going to tie your wrists together,” I said. “And then your arms will be suspended above your head. If your arms start to tingle or go numb, tell me immediately.”
She nodded. “Yes daddy.”
“I’ll always check in on you, but that’s something I expect from now on. If something ever feels off, either physically or emotionally, I expect you to tell me right away.”
“I can do that, daddy.”
“Good.” She smelled heavenly, like coconuts and vanilla, and I had an insistent throb in my erection already. My jeans had been uncomfortable since we left the club, but now they were downright painful.
I got her wrists tied together, and then tied them to the ribbon, and pulled the ribbon through until her arms were suspended in the air, directly above her head.
I popped open the clasp that held the front of her corset together, and her breasts fell out, free from constriction.
I arranged the armchair so that she would be able to straddle me, and I adjusted the tension in the silk ribbon.
I pushed my jeans down, freeing my hard cock. I went ahead and put the condom on. “You’re going to ride me,” I told her. I took her hips into my hands, and I guided her forward, until she was sitting in my lap. First, I pushed two fingers into her pussy. “Bounce up and down on my fingers,” I instructed her. “You’re going to get yourself stretched out.”
She planted her feet on the floor, on either side of my legs, and she undulated her hips, rolling them, stimulating her pussy until both her and my fingers were sopping wet.
“That’s perfect.” I removed my fingers, and guided her forward. I positioned my cock into her sweet pussy, and she slowly lowered herself down taking me heaven.
With her arms above her head, her breasts were at the perfect height for me to suck on them and that’s what I did. I sucked at her breasts, and bit at them, and licked them. She had no recourse, with her arms above her head. She could only writhe, and take what I was giving her.
“Now ride,” I said. “Up and down.”
She began to thrust herself, up and down on my cock. She added a few little hip twists of her own, until I was spilling over.
I yanked her forward, pushing one breast into my mouth where I sucked hard on her nipple until she came.
Not long after, she followed me over.
Once I’d cleaned her up, and gotten her settled in the bed, I ran one finger down her bare abdomen. “Now that we’re regularly sleeping together, there are a few things I expect from you.”
“What’s that Daddy?” she asked in a soft voice.
“I expect your honesty. I mentioned that earlier. I expect you to speak up about your own safety. I can handle being wrong. I may tell you to let it go, but you’ll never be punished for asking me a question.”
I traced over her abs, watching them move under my hand. “And no lying by omission. Trust is very important in a relationship like this.”
“Yes daddy.”
“So if there’s ever anything in your life that I need to know about, you should tell me.”
“I understand daddy,” she said.
“Good. You were amazing tonight. I can’t wait to take you out again and show you off.”
The next morning, I’d told Eden to sleep in. I headed out to my usual spot on the deck, but I didn’t get to relax for very long. I went for a swim in the ocean, and just as I’d sat down with my coffee, my brother Alec appeared on the front walk.
He had not told me he was coming. He looked a lot like me, but he was young, and more impulsive, given that he’d shown up here unannounced, when he lived on the other side of the country.
I willed myself to stay calm and not get irritated. “Hi brother, what brings you to the beach?”
“Just trying to figure out if you’ve left civilized society for good, or if you’re going to come back to us,” he said.
Without an invitation, he pulled out one of the chairs at the table where I was sitting and sat down.
“I’m not sure why anyone cares where I am.”
“Our mother and father do.”
“They’re in Greece right now, and I speak to them every other day.” I took my sunglasses off and looked him in the eye. “What’s going on?”
“It’s Helena.”
At the mention of my ex-wife’s name, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Our marriage had not been a happy one, and our divorce had been even less so. “What does she have to do with anything? Please tell me you’re not dating her?”
His mouth twisted into a grimace. “What do you take me for? I wouldn’t sleep with your wife.”
“Ex-wife. The divorce was final last week.”
“She regrets it.”
“She regrets what part of it? That I took away the jet she used all the time? I bet she does. Now she’ll have to climb on a regular commercial flight to sit in first class.” I rolled my eyes. “I do not feel sorry for her. Don’t let yourself get sucked into her drama.”
“I’m not getting sucked into anyone’s drama.”
“Then why are you here.”
“I was curious about what our aunt left to you.”
I doubted that. My brother had never once visited my aunt. He’d barely spoken to her, and I doubted he felt guilty about it either. My aunt leaving this property to me had raised some eyebrows, but no one in the Kyros family was actually jealous, because they all viewed the property as inferior, since it was in Florida. Now if it had been in Greece, or in the Bay Area of California, then they’d probably have taken me to court to try and steal it away.
At times, it was very clear to me why my aunt had hightailed it out of Seattle and never came back.
“So there’s no chance of you taking Helena back?”
“No. No chance at all.”
“How in the hell did she put you up to this? What did she offer you? Or threaten you with?” I asked.
My brother finally caved. He chewed on his lip, and I knew that mannerism. “Okay. I see you gnawing on your lip like you’re five again. You might as well tell me.”
“She has a friend that I want her to introduce me to. It’s as simple as that.”
I covered my face with my hand. “Good God, Alec. Can’t you use a dating app like everyone else? Or tell, don’t date.”
“Don’t tell me you’re not seeing anyone down here with all these college girls hanging around. I’m sure you’ve had some really fresh --”
“Alec!” I was horrified at the way he was speaking.
“You seem a little touchy.” He reached out and tugged on my hair. “I don’t see much gray, old man. But have you gotten too old to attract the college girls?”
“Alec, I’m going to ask you once more, please show some respect.”
Alec’s eyebrows shot up. “Okay, clearly you’ve lost your marbles out here. The sun has baked your brain. But, I did see a cool place to charter a boat for a deep sea fishing trip. You wanna go?”
Part of me did want to. I rarely saw Alec, and sure, his reasons for coming here were sinister. I wasn’t sure if we actually liked each other, but he was my brother, and in my Greek family, our relatives believed family should be given a few extra chances, even when they willfully screwed up.
“That does sound nice. Let’s do it.”
Alec stared at me in shock. “Do you mean it?”
“Yeah, I do.” I’d need to let Eden know. I’d plan on a short enough charter so that I’d be back in time to take her out.
Before I could open my mouth to tell Alec that I was actually seeing someone, and she was also a college student, the front door swung open and there was Eden.
Her hair was sleep-rumpled, and she had on one of my long t-shirts. She didn’t like to sleep in the fancy lingerie I’d ordered, and she didn’t have pajamas. So she’d appropriated some of my old workout clothes. She was as cute as hell wearing them, so I only encouraged it.<

She stopped in her tracks when she saw Alec. It was clear that she had not expected anyone but me, and from the way she was dressed, and her demeanor, it was very clear that she was not a guest. Alec would assume she was my guest.
How the fuck was I supposed to introduce her to my brother? I couldn’t very well say, “Oh, this is my housekeeper, she sleeps in my bed, wearing my shirt.”
There was no way to introduce her that wasn’t problematic, and that wouldn’t get my brother all worked up. I’d just have to make do.
“Eden, this is my brother Alec. He’s here visiting from Portland, Oregon. Alec, this is Eden, she's my friend who’s staying here until she starts college in Tallahassee.”
“Hello,” she said.
‘It’s lovely to meet you, Eden,” Alec said.
I did not miss the way his eyes roved over her bare legs and her chest that was visible under her t-shirt.
“Alec and I have decided to go deep sea fishing for the morning. Would you like to join us?”
I got up and went to her, wrapping my arm around her waist and kissing her cheek. I wanted to make it clear to my brother that she was off-limits, and I wanted Eden to know that I was claiming her in front of other people as well.
So far, we’d been sequestered off in our own little bubble, and we hadn’t had to interact with anyone outside except the guests and the immediate neighbors.
She leaned up on her tiptoes and kissed my cheek. “I think I better take a rain check,” she said. “I need to study today, and write an essay.” She stepped away from me, and walked back toward the door. “But y’all have fun, and take pictures if you catch any big ones.”
She waved at Alec, and told him goodbye before walking out.
Once she was gone, my brother whistled. “You neglected to mention the hot piece of ass you have living with you. No wonder you won’t come home. And, no wonder you don’t have any interest in Helena. I wouldn’t either. Damn.”
I leaned forward and grabbed the hem of Alec’s t-shirt. “Do not. For any reason. Refer to Eden with that kind of disrespect. Ever again. You’ll regret it.” I let go of his shirt. “She’s a person, and you need to grow the fuck up.”
“Jeez. Okay point taken. I’m sorry. I won’t do it again. She must be really special if she got you over the Helena slump. Last I’d heard from our cousins was that you weren’t ever going to date again.”
“I may have said that, once or twice when we were drinking.” A few months ago, right after my divorce, several of our cousins from Athens, both male and female had dragged me out of my house in Seattle and taken me on a pub crawl. It had lasted all night. Instead of cheering me up and getting me over my ex wife as they had planned, my drunkenness had solidified my morose mood, and I had spent the entire night moaning about how I would never date a woman again.
And I had stayed true to my word. Until Eden Ainsley walked up that path to interview for a job here at Apricot Sunset.
Chapter Seventeen
Eden
My life was going better than it ever had. For once, all my plans had come together. I had a job where I was making a lot of money, and thanks to living in the hotel, I was able to save almost all of it.
I was enrolled in a college class, and even though it was only one course, I had a really high A in the class. I also had lost my virginity to one of the hottest men I’d ever seen, and now I was routinely sleeping with him.
And best of all, my little sisters had a safe place to live, even if my cousin Marla drove them crazy. They’d even gotten jobs, and they were paying for their own food. I was so proud of them, and I wanted to let them know. Today, Luke had insisted I take the day off, and he’d given me the convertible to go pick up my sisters.
I wondered if it had anything to do with the fact that his own younger brother had showed up unannounced a few days ago. His visit had seemed to rattle Luke, and I wasn’t sure why. When I asked, Luke said that his brother had expected to see him moping around the hotel, single and lonely, and that he’d had the pleasure of telling his little brother that he was now seeing someone, and that he wasn’t lonely or living in despair, or any of the other things his family imagined.
Apparently, his large Greek family thought that Florida was an unpleasant place to vacation or own a home, and they had constantly been on Luke’s aunt’s case to come home.
I understood crazy families as well as anyone, but Luke’s family didn’t sound crazy, just overly invested and involved in everyone’s personal decisions. Luke confirmed that it was true.
But, he’d gone off fishing with Alec, and he’d appeared to have a great time. Both Alec and Luke came back with several giant fish that they’d grilled that night, and the three of us had shared a meal together. Then Alec had left, saying he had to be back to run his business in Oregon, and he’d given Luke a pointed look as he left.
Whatever all that was about, I was glad to see that Luke had people in his life that loved him.
When I went to get the twins, I actually got to drive to their place of employment. They were both working at the local mini-golf and go-cart track, and they got off at four p.m. I was going to surprise them with the sports car and then take them to the beach at the hotel.
This was the first day I was going to get to spend with them since we've moved here. When I arrived at the mini golf park, they were both standing outside with their bags.
I pulled up and honked, and they came running up to the car.
“Oh wow, did you get rich while we weren't looking?” Penny screamed.
“Yeah, you didn't tell us you bought a car. How did you get this?” Piper yelled.
“It's not mine,” I said in my sternest, most motherly voice. “This is a very expensive car, so please be careful.” I added, “If you stain it or spill something, we’re using your paycheck to have it cleaned.”
Penny hopped in the front seat and Piper crawled in the back.
“If it's not yours, whose is it?” Piper asked.
“It's my boss's. And, he doesn't have kids, so please don't scratch it or dump sand in it or God forbid food or soda.”
“We're not three-years-old now,” Penny said. “We're fairly competent, you know.
“I'm glad to hear it,” I said. How's work going?
“It's good, but we could stand to have a little more shade.”
“I spent half my day crawling through the bushes trying to retrieve golf balls and putters that kids threw over the fence. It is not a cushy job.”
“I didn't think it would be. I'm proud of you girls.”
“And, we're proud of you for scoring us a ride in his convertible. How to get such a nice boss? Our boss barely lets us take a break at lunch.”
I did not want to discuss Luke with my sisters, not even in a joking way. They were young but they were plenty perceptive, and I did not need them figuring out that there was something more between Luke and me than a plain boss and an employee relationship.
I pulled us into the garage, and led my sisters up the outside staircase to my rooms. I’d been diligent earlier about hiding all of my lingerie. That was one thing I did not want to explain.
“This is such a nice place,” Piper said, flopping backward onto the bed.
“It’s swanky,” Penny added as she rifled through the bathroom. “Can we stay here sometime?”
“Maybe, for one night.”
Then I felt guilty, because Penny came and draped herself over my shoulders. “We never see you now,” she whined.
I missed them too. But, the separation was good for us. They were learning to be a little more independent without me monitoring their every move. “I know. But it’s only until mid-August. Then we’ll all be moving closer to the university in Tallahassee.”
Piper, still lying on the bed, stuck out her tongue. “And, we’ll have to go to some dumb high school.”
“High school is not dumb. And, you two need to get ready.” I swatted at both of their legs while they giggled. “
Get ready, or I’m heading to the beach without you.”
The twins leaped into action, and in ten minutes’ time, they were fully dressed in bikinis that were way too revealing. Piper’s was hot pink, and Penny’s was neon orange. Of course, they’d chosen swimsuits that drew the most attention to themselves. They definitely had not inherited my sense of modesty.
You’re not modest when it comes to Luke.
That was true enough. But they were still young, and didn’t need to be dressing quite so wild. But, I knew better than to press the issue. The more I scolded, the racier their bikinis would be next time. I might be their sister, but they responded to me more like a parent.
“Where did you guys get those?” I asked even though I already suspected the answer.
Piper pushed her chest out. “Marla had them.”
I sighed, but I couldn’t really complain. Marla had given the girls a home for the summer. Yes, I did pay her, but she provided them a safe home, or at least a home safer than Mike’s so I owed her for that.
On the way down, the twins chattered about the cute boys at their job and giggled a lot.
Luke had approved their visit, but I figured he’d stay out of the way. But when we reached the porch, he was standing there. He looked amazing as always, dressing in a t-shirt and swim trunks.
“Hello girls. I’m Luke,” he said to my sisters. “I had some sandwiches delivered, so you can take them to the beach with you.”
They stared up at him, not speaking, apparently star-struck. I nudged Penny with my hip. She jerked, and then swallowed a few times, blinking up at him. “Um. Thank you,” she said finally.
“Yes. Thanks,” Piper added.
“Are you going to be joining us?” I asked him.
“No. I’m going to catch up on some work. But you all enjoy your time together.”
“Let me know if you need me.” I picked up the cooler. I practically had to shove my sisters down the pathway to the beach.
Piper pressed her hands to her cheeks. “Oh my God.”
“I know!” Penny grabbed my forearm and squeezed it. Hard. “How do you freaking do it? Please tell me how you survive being around that man all day.”
