“I think you might be prolonging my torture.” Not that she was too against it.
“I want to make sure you enjoy this. I want to hear you moaning my name as you come around my cock.”
“I’m not about to stop you.” Jasmine wanted to know everything he wished to do to her. “So far, I’ve enjoyed everything you’ve done, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy whatever comes next.”
He laid down next her. Then his hand made its way over to her nipple, tweaking it between two fingers, causing it to stiffen and pulse with pleasure.
He smiled down at it, and then he pushed himself up to lean over her, kissing his way down her stomach to her thighs.
“Are you trying to drive me insane?”
“Am I succeeding?”
“I need you.” Jasmine squirmed under his non-stop fiery kisses.
She froze as he spread her thighs with his strong hands and did something most unsuspected. He lowered his head between her thighs and licked her nub with his hot, long tongue. She squirmed as pleasure shot straight through her. Within seconds, her body melted, and her hips moved under his ministrations.
“It feels so amazing.” Right after those words had left her mouth, Dryden sucked her nub into his warm mouth.
Her vision blacked out as she saw stars flash before her eyes. It was such intense pleasure, and it built within her without mercy. Jasmine couldn't wait for the climax. Her body bucked against him until he had to hold down her waist as the pressure built within her.
Dryden raised a hand to her breast to play with her nipple as he continued to suck and lick her wet center.
He growled against her nub, nipping her a bit with his teeth as he sucked harder and licked her center more forcefully.
Jasmine panted until she finally came. “Oh god, Dryden! Yes!” Her hands grabbed onto his silver hair as her thighs clamped down around his face.
As the climax gently dissipated, she loosened her hold on his face and hair, allowing him to rise above her on his hands.
Growling into her ear, he settled over her soft body. Oh, how she loved the feel of his very masculine body lying over hers.
Those black eyes of his had gone even darker if that was at all possible.
As he rose above her, she was given a sight she would never forget. Jasmine couldn't tear her eyes away from the amazing show of muscle displayed so close to her face.
Dryden nuzzled her neck as he took in her scent.
Jasmine looked up into his eyes. Now he was finally going to enter her body. Her body reawakened just at the thought of his member penetrating her deeply.
Oh, so pleasurably deep.
Jasmine whispered up to him, lust coating her voice, “Take me.”
“I have every intention of sliding my cock deep into your pussy.” His member touched her outer lips, but he surprised her. Instead of just pushing deep into her needy body, he moved his hips against her slowly.
His cock rubbed her in all the right spots, making her squirm.
“You’re a devil of a man,” she groaned, but she loved the games he played. Loved all the ways he played with her.
“But I’m your devil, and you like it when I stroke my cock against your clit.”
Ever so slowly, he slid his hard cock into her, finally relenting and giving her what she desired.
It stretched her walls but felt good.
“How is it?” he asked.
Jasmine heard the concern clearly in his voice.
“A little tight, but it doesn’t hurt.” She gave an encouraging smile, stroking his face with one of her hands. “You can go faster. I believe I’ll be alright.”
It was all he needed to hear. With a quick thrust, his cock stretched her wide.
She let out a moan, as pleasure soared through her veins. “Faster!” Jasmine panted, as her hips moved of their own accord.
He obliged by pumping faster into her sweet hot sheath. Sweat beaded on both of their bodies, as the pleasure built inside them.
His hands never ceased in their ministrations on her breasts.
Dryden let out a growl, his hands landing on her hips, and slamming into her, his balls slapping against her wet flesh.
Jasmine was the first to start to come, and her walls clenched around his hard member, coaxing it to release inside her. Soon after, Dryden followed suit, and his hot seed shot deep inside her womb.
The warm feeling set her off again, and she came once more before Dryden collapsed on her. He still held his weight off of her.
Jasmine smiled to herself. Even after all the pleasure, he was still concerned about hurting her.
“What do you find so amusing?” Dryden asked as he lifted his head. He gave the side of her mouth a slight kiss.
She shrugged. “Just enjoying everything you did to me.”
A gleam appeared in his eyes. “There is more if you are willing.”
Jasmine laughed. “Not all at once.” She poked him in the shoulder. “I expect I will be a little sore tomorrow morning.”
He placed his hand on her stomach. “Did I hurt you at all?” His dark eyebrows met over his nose, as his gaze searched hers.
“No, not at all.” She smiled over at him as he untangled himself from her legs and laid down beside her. Gathering her into his arms, he rested his head right above hers, then pulled the fur cover up and over their flushed skin.
“I was afraid a joining wouldn’t work.”
“I’m glad you were wrong.” And she really was. If she weren’t worried about being sore the next morning, she would’ve explored more with him.
Jasmine felt so right, lying there in his strong arms. Arms that made her feel like the rest of the world didn't even exist. Arms that she knew would always catch her if she ever took a tumble.
His heat soaked into her as she slowly drifted into sleep, trusting him to take care of her throughout the rest of the night.
Dryden wished to speak some more to Jasmine, but he realized she’d fallen fast asleep in his arms already. He hadn't even noticed her breathing had changed. He’d been staring off into space, transfixed by his thoughts. The nights they’d spent together had pleasantly surprised him.
Something about Jasmine just felt right to him. He never wanted her to leave his arms, and he feared he might lose his mind if she did.
He didn't think he could let her go. They had formed a connection, wanted or not, drawing them together.
Dryden could feel his own emotions and knew he wanted the connection to stay forever, but would Jasmine want the connection? Despite the intimacy they had just shared, he still felt part of her holding back, keeping distant, and it troubled him deeply. He felt like he might convince her to stay since there was something in her eyes he could see, something along the lines of affection.
Could he be feeling love for Jasmine?
He might not go that far, but he was interested in what they had started together.
They would face opposition, but he believed they could overcome anything, just as long as they stood side by side. The only problem he’d have would be to get her by his side. He would do his best to convince her in the end that he was the one male made for her.
Tonight he had felt and seen the adoration in her eyes. Dryden smiled to himself and snuggled his face deeper into her soft hair. He sucked in a lungful of air. Jasmine's scent drew him in like no other.
It was amazing how this human female was able to evoke his emotions.
Jasmine moved slightly in her sleep, tucking herself closer to him while kicking the covers off of herself.
Chuckling to himself, he reached down with a hand to grab the edge of the fur cover. He pulled it up to cover Jasmine but paused midway.
The sight before him had to be appreciated. Jasmine's pale white skin gleamed, and her brown hair barely covered up her rosy, puckered nipples. It was a sight he would have loved to paint had he been a painter, and a little part of him wished he had been a painter.
If he could convince her to stay by h
is side, then he might have many more opportunities to see this lovely sight before him.
He smiled once again as he drew the covers back over Jasmine. Before lying back down next to her, he made sure to tuck the fur underneath her body, so she wouldn't be able to kick it off as easily during the night.
Dryden didn't want her shivering herself awake.
With a tender kiss on her forehead, he settled down beside her sleeping form, his head resting near hers.
As he drifted to sleep, he thought with a smile how much he enjoyed lying next to her, sharing their warmth, and what he hoped might develop into more in the future.
Chapter 11
Her mind still drowsy from such a deep sleep, Jasmine opened her eyes and gave a hearty yawn.
Was it morning already? It didn't feel like morning yet. Opening her eyes all the way, she looked around the tent. She was laying on her back with Dryden's arm stretched lazily across her belly.
She found the moment… peaceful and loving? Yes, she found it quite sweet, almost daydream-worthy.
Jasmine smiled to herself and turned her head to find Dryden still fast asleep beside her.
Now that she was fully awake, she knew it was still night, possibly very early morning. What with the cloud coverage here in the mountains, she wouldn't be surprised if it was just morning and the sun was unable to punch through the dense clouds.
Then a thought shot through her mind and her smile faded away until her mouth became a grim line. This would be the perfect opportunity to get away from Dryden and all the ice giant warriors.
But she didn't want to. She could feel her heart ache as she thought about leaving him.
“Damn,” Jasmine muttered, not at all shocked by her language. This was a decision she didn't want to make, not that it was a decision at all. She had to choose her sister, her flesh and blood.
If she escaped and saved Adorra, then perhaps she could attempt to travel back and find Dryden. There was no guarantee he would want her back after she left him, though. In fact, there was no guarantee he wanted her at all.
They had shared something special last night, but if she abandoned him so abruptly the next morning, there was no telling how he would react. He might see her escape attempt as a betrayal.
Jasmine pursed her lips. She hated walking away from the connection developing between them, but now would be the perfect moment to make her move, while he was fast asleep with no sign of waking.
If she ran into anyone who asked her what she was doing outside of the tent, she already knew what her answer would be. She had to use the woods. It was a legitimate reason. Not to mention if they did stop her, Dryden would never know she’d been trying to leave him.
Now. Yes, now was her time. There was no telling if she would ever get another opportunity like this.
With a deep breath, Jasmine gently eased out of Dryden's grasp, pausing as she rolled out from under his arm to see if he would wake from the movement.
When she didn't hear anything, she turned her head to take a look at him. Yes, he was still sound asleep. She wanted to cheer but managed to restrain herself. No need to wake Dryden now.
Smiling to herself, she placed her arms beneath her chest and carefully raised herself, standing on the balls of her feet.
Glancing around, she found the safest route to her dress, which was lying not far from the furs.
Stepping carefully, she tiptoed over Dryden’s lean legs. Once past, she let out a breath she hadn't known she’d been holding. Bending over, she grabbed her underdress from the ground and shimmied her way into it, then pulled her other dress over her head. While she put on her clothing, Jasmine prayed that she hadn’t waited too long to escape and return to her sister.
She found herself grasping at improbable scenarios in her mind. Maybe a tragic accident had befallen Lord Gothar while she was away. Perhaps he had changed his mind and spared Adorra’s life altogether. Jasmine snorted to herself, then paused in the middle of tying the straps on her dress as Dryden murmured in his sleep.
She had to be more careful! Slowly, Jasmine counted to a hundred and only relaxed after it was clear that Dryden was still deeply asleep. Jasmine moved cautiously to the front of the tent, but just as she was about to step outside, she paused to take one final look at Dryden lying peacefully on the furs.
Her heart twisted with regret. “I’m sorry,” she whispered in the quietest of voices. “You put your trust in me, but I must save my sister. I could never live with myself if I didn't at least try.” Dryden didn’t stir, but she felt better for speaking the words out loud to him.
With a heavy heart, Jasmine lifted the fur flap to take a peek outside. It was indeed early morning, and she didn't see any ice giants moving about inside the camp. There were probably ice giant scouts wandering about the perimeter of the tents, though, and they might spot her trying to escape.
Any chance was a chance she was willing to take. She would just have to hope they didn’t see her. Jasmine grabbed a fur cloak that lay by the entrance to the tent and pulled it securely over her shoulders as she left. Her path was now chosen.
Jasmine stayed alert as she made her way towards the area where the horses were tied up. She briefly paused as the cold sucked the air from her lungs. Once she started to breathe through her nose, she got her breath back under control and pressed on.
The snow had built up over the night, up to mid-calf. Thankfully, it wasn't currently snowing, which would make it easier for her to guide the horse. Unfortunately, that would also make it easier for Dryden to follow her tracks when he woke to find her missing.
Silently, she sent up a prayer that the snow would start again after she made her way from camp, just enough to cover her tracks, but not enough to impede her journey.
Her breath puffed out in little white clouds before her face, and she shivered as she thought about the lonely nights she’d be facing in these intimidating mountains. How she wished she could turn around and rejoin Dryden in the nice warm furs.
Jasmine wondered if there were any scouts in the woods currently watching her. She hoped not because her excuse for using the woods would only work if she weren’t trying to steal a horse.
She tried to think of a reason for why she would take a horse, but she couldn't figure out any excuse for that specific action. She just had to hope no would see or question her.
The snort of a warhorse brought her back to reality and out of her troubling thoughts. She smiled as her gaze fell upon the black stallion that belonged to Dryden.
Unfortunately, the beast wasn't saddled up.
Had she expected him to be? No, because the thought had never crossed her mind.
She sighed and searched for where the saddles were being kept. She found them off to the side under a small tent that protected them from the snow. Looking at the size of the saddles, Jasmine realized she wouldn't be able to pick up any of them on her own.
Bareback would have to be her option. She doubted her legs would hold her securely given the girth of the huge horse, but again, she had to try her best. Failure was not an option with her sister’s life hanging in the balance.
“Good thing I know how to ride bareback, huh?” she said to the horse as she patted his soft nose, rubbing her way from there up to his cheek to give him a good scratch.
There was the possibility the horse might be trained to only respond to his master, which would be unfortunate. But she had the advantage of having been on the horse for several days with Dryden, and she hoped the horse would recognize her scent and respond to her commands.
Still, getting the giant black stallion used to her touch wouldn't be a bad thing. After a few minutes of rubbing her hands over his silky black coat, Jasmine decided it was time.
Inhaling deeply, she made her way over to his side, stroking her fingers through his shaggy hair as she made her way around him slowly.
When she glanced back, she saw the stallion watching her intently. She smiled at him. “Be a good boy, and I can p
romise you’ll be treated like a king when we get to where we’re going. Sound like a deal to you?”
He snorted and pawed the ground with a huge black hoof. She decided he was saying he would cooperate.
As she placed two hands on the stallion's side, she carefully watched all of his reactions. Snorting and shaking his head, he looked at her curiously with big black eyes. Jasmine tried to project a calm and confident manner as he considered her, taking several breaths that plumed out on the night air in large white clouds. Then he looked away, losing interest, and Jasmine smiled.
Quickly, she ran over to grab his reins from the small tent that had been set up to protect all the horse tackle.
Returning, she held it up so the great black stallion could see it. She wanted him to know what was coming and that there was nothing to fear, nothing she was trying to hide from him, other than the fact that she was trying to escape from his master.
He snorted in her face, and to her great surprise, lowered his head toward her.
Jasmine recovered quickly from her shock and with no effort at all on her part, she got the reins up and over his head. Smiling at the stallion, she leaned in and kissed his buttery soft nose.
“You’re a good boy and very well trained. Dryden took his time with you, I can tell.”
With that last thought, she looked back at the tent in which Dryden continued to sleep soundly. It was possible for her to end this now, to tie the horse back up to a tree, to put the reins away, to enter the tent, to strip down and rejoin Dryden. He would never be the wiser.
With a sigh, she forced herself to face towards the part of the forest she thought might be the way back home.
Leading the stallion by the reins, Jasmine guided him deeper into the forest. If she was going to get thrown or have the horse make a fuss when she tried to mount, then she wanted to attract as little attention as she could.
Peering into the dark forest, she shivered as the thoughts of those mountain cats passed briefly through her mind.
