"Lia, you are a godsend! Wow."
She puts her brush down as I gaze in the mirror. I look stunning! I didn't look like a circus clown and she kept to the simplistic beach style I was going for. My hair was curled and pin loosely for a windswept look, it was beyond my imagination. I start fanning myself.
"Lyric don't you dare start crying! All my hard work will not be ruined until the end."
Just breathe Lyric...just breathe.
After a few minutes, I was able to calm down.
"Lia, Jess can you help me, please?"
"Of course, what are your girls for?"

The world is moving unbelievably slow, I feel like someone hit the super slo-mo button. The only saving grace is the gentle salt-infused breeze hitting my face.
Cheetah nudges me, "You okay? Don't get me killed if you decide to pass out."
I shake my head and bend my knees a bit, "No, no... wouldn’t miss this moment for anything in the world."

Everything is done and the photographer just finished the first session and heads outside to set up.
*knock knock*
"Mom, it's me."
I turn to see my handsome son opening the door. He instantly wipes his tears and I feel mine coming.
"Don't make me cry!"
"I'm sorry, you look so beautiful. Come on, you've got a date with destiny."
I was a bit confused, "I thought Jackal was going to escort me?"
He shakes his head, he had grown into himself, more confident and gaining muscle every day. He's quite the flirt, I must say, but I keep him grounded on how to respect a girl. He assures me that he knows, he better. He's a reflection of me.
"No, I insisted on taking the honor of giving my mother away. You've done so much and given me everything I wanted. It's my honor to be the one who ushers you from girlfriend to wife.”
I only nod because any words will be followed by a flood of tears.
He holds his arm out and I wrap my arm in his and hold my bouquet of white lilies in my other hand as we walk down the stairs of our house to the beach out back.
I ALWAYS WILL

WOW! Nothing could prepare me for the sight that appeared before me. She was beautiful, radiant, stunning but most importantly...she was mine.
Her white dress was perfect for our beach wedding, it was a chiffon lace split front, off-the-shoulder dress with a train. I only know the details because of what she told me since I couldn’t see it, but seeing it now took my breath away. She decided to go barefoot, and I did too in my khaki pants rolled up and white button-down.
Digi smiled proudly walking his mother down the aisle. He had grown into his own, found a bachelor pad because he didn't want to cramp our style especially with Xaria being there but we kept his room and invited him over for dinner as much as we could without interfering in his social life.
My boy is a heartbreaker, I can feel it. Of course, he won't tell us, we're his parents, but I've seen a couple of different girls in his company. Maybe his club name should be Cupid, pass down the legacy.
Before I realize it, they're in front of me and he whispers something and she nods before he kisses her hand, then her cheek. I hold out my hand and he places her hand in mine.
Our eyes meet and I'm done, I can't hold back my happy tears. She wipes them with a handkerchief she had cleverly hidden in her bouquet, blotting her own eyes to not ruin her makeup.
I could have told her just how gorgeous she was but all I got out was, "Hi."
She giggled and her smile was worth my blonde moment. I could hear chuckles behind me from my groomsmen, Cheetah and Knox.
We kept the bridal party small with two each. Lia and Jess were new additions to the family, they all met at a weekend rally downtown and became fast friends. They were her support system after Xar was born, Lia having two boys and Jess, a little girl.
Although she was used to being around all of us guys, she needed female friends to talk and bond over and I'm glad she has it now.

He's completely adorable, the man I now call my husband. The ceremony went off without a hitch, even the wind died down a bit. I'm happy to walk back down the aisle with my love, my husband.
At the reception, which was a beautiful ivory tent pitched not far from the house, we sat at the head table after going through the reception line. I feed my handsome husband as he plays with his daughter. She giggles and coos to his every movement. They are inseparable. "Hey, one more bite. I have to feed her, too." I tell him.
He leans forward for a sweet kiss and just gazes at me.
"What? Is it my makeup?"
I almost panic thinking I ruined the amazing job Lia did, but he shakes his head.

"No, I just want to look into the gorgeous eyes of my stunning wife. You're absolutely the most beautiful girl on this Earth and I love you."
That did it and she cried while smiling. Xaria takes my finger and I wiggle it causing her to coo. She looks at me in her cute pink ruffle dress and matching socks.
"Daaa...da da. *squeal*"
Both our mouths dropped open. "Did she just..."
"Oh my god, she said dada, she said her first word! Xar, say dada again!" Lyric coaxes her.
"Da, da, da, da!" She screams the last one enough to catch everyone's attention.
"I'm her first word! She said dada!" I pull Lyric in for a kiss and then I kiss Xar on the forehead. This was the icing on the cake. After everyone applauded, Lyric took the mic.
LYRIC
"Thank you, everyone, for being here on our special day and apparently Xar's first word. Now we know, she's truly a daddy's girl. That’s a good thing to know, I suppose in seven months or so we'll find out if we have another daddy's girl or perhaps, we will finally get a junior..."
Everyone gasped and he dropped his glass, visibly shocked.
My emotions overwhelmed me as I sniffled to avoid the tears, "Surprise, we're having another baby."
Alana takes Xaria as he cups my face. "Really, kitten? Another baby?!"
I place his hand on my barely-there bump.
"Pretty sure, same symptoms as last time and four confirmed pregnancy tests. You said she wouldn't be the only one. How does that sound?"

I slam my lips onto hers, what a way to end a perfect day.
I realize she's being pulled away by her bridesmaids and they all hug and cry. Watching them beam over the news and patting her stomach, I wonder why I hadn't picked up on it.
I suspect it happened the night Digi moved out and she wanted to run through the house naked.
Albeit an odd request, I indulged her in it.
Later, Xaria started to stir and she made her way to our daughter’s room. "Mommy duties call...I'll see you in bed?"
I watch her saunter out and eventually follow her to see her breastfeeding our precious angel. I sat on the floor next to the rocker she was in. She wiggles her tiny hand while she suckles on her nipple, it's the most beautiful thing ever. She catches me licking my lips.
"You're incorrigible. If you hadn't realized it, you probably knocked me up again."
I smile, "Would be okay with me." She rolls her eyes and laughs.
And I did, now I'm gazing at my new wife and my newest bundle growing within her while I look at my handsome son and hold my beautiful girl whose first word was "dada". Love is truly all I needed.
