About the Book
Cady’s life is stable. She’s working as a tennis trainer and working her way through college, but her whole life changes when her new client turns out to be Chase Benton, billionaire CEO and New York City’s most eligible bachelor.
Chase has no shortage of women lining up to be the future Mrs. Benton, but he’s learned to keep his heart shielded to those who are only after him for money or fame. But when he sets eyes on Cady, he realizes he’s found the one girl he’d let into his world.
But Cady’s not convinced. A man who has it all couldn’t be interested in her…could he? She’s shielded herself too, but what she doesn’t know, is that Chase didn’t get to where he is by taking no for an answer, and he’s sure not going to accept one from her.

Chapter One
Chase
It was just supposed to be another tennis lesson. It turned out to be the day that changed my life…
It started off like a typical Friday: I woke up in my penthouse, had scrambled eggs, orange juice, and avocado toast prepared by Ronald, my personal chef, went downstairs to where my Rolls-Royce Phantom was waiting, and had my driver, Jeremy, take me to the office.
It was practically a celebration when I arrived. My company, Benton Enterprises, had just won a very expensive lawsuit against a competitor who was trying to steal our design for a jet engine that would be standard in almost all airliners, so I’d given everyone a half day. After all, it was Friday and everyone wanted to get home to their families.
“I’d just like to thank you all for being part of this company,” I told them as I raised my glass of champagne. “We won and we will continue to win as long as I am CEO of Benton Enterprises!”
Everyone cheered and I left them to the gourmet food and cake, headed back down to the car, and told Jeremy to take me to the country club.
It had been a rough week of twelve-hour days and I needed to blow off steam. I’d arranged for a tennis lesson at the club on Long Island to get my mind off work. I was going to stay there the whole weekend as long as nothing came up.
My old pro, Sharon, was in Europe doing a charity tournament for ALS, and I had a sneaking suspicion that she was going to stay there with her new husband, Frank, who’d just bought a villa in the South of France, so I was interviewing new pros to help me with my backhand.
“Wait’ll you see this one, boss,” Jeremy told me as he dropped me off at the clubhouse.
“This one what?” I asked as I grabbed my bag and stepped out. But Jeremy just gave me one of his patented wink-nods before pressing the button to close the door, and left me standing there at the door as he drove off.
“Hmm,” I muttered to myself with a shrug as I headed inside.
The place was pretty sparse for a Friday afternoon. I saw the VP of Marketing of Lightsways, a new tech startup out of Connecticut, and the Creative Director of Charles Rouges, a luxury men’s suit brand (I have three of them in varying colors). They looked like they’d just finished a workout and waved to me on their way to the sauna.
I headed to the locker room, changed, grabbed my racket, and headed for the courts.
Wait’ll you see this one, boss…
Jeremy’s words were repeating in my mind as I walked, and when I stepped outside onto the turf, I realized what he meant.
Standing in front of me, wearing white sneakers and a matching white skirt, was a vision of beauty unlike any I’d ever seen. Now, I’m the kind of man who runs into a lot of women; plenty of girls want to score a date with Chase Brenton, New York City’s Most Eligible Bachelor two years running now.
I’ve seen them all: beauty queens, runway models, print models, actresses—hell, I’ve even had pornstars try to get into my inner circle. But believe me when I tell you that none of them could hold a candle to the beauty standing in front of me.
She had long, straight blonde hair and bright blue eyes and looked like she didn’t have a care in the world. She was wearing one of those pink tennis shirts and definitely had a sports bra underneath, but still wasn’t able to hide what she had going on underneath—which were way bigger than tennis balls.
“Mr. Brenton?” she asked with a white smile and a cute little wave that caused her perfect hips to sway in ways that had my mind going places it shouldn’t.
She’s your trainer for God’s sake! I told myself as I felt the fabric in my shorts begin to tighten around my thighs. Keep it together!
But as I walked towards her and got a full view of her gorgeous physique, I knew that was going to be easier said than done.
She was absolutely dripping in sexuality and looked like she’d just stepped out of a men’s magazine. I actually glanced around to see if there was a photographer nearby. This girl was my new tennis pro?
“Mr. Brenton?” she repeated. I realized I hadn’t answered her the first time.
“That’s me,” I grinned, extending my hand. She took it and shook it. Her hand was soft but her grip was firm and I didn’t want to let go. In fact, I wanted to pull her closer, slide my hands up her thighs, and find out what she was hiding beneath that tennis skirt.
I couldn’t remember the last time I’d had such a visceral reaction to a girl. Like I said, I was pretty used to being surrounded by beautiful women, but there was something about this girl that had my heart racing and my mouth watering.
“I’m Cady,” she told me. “I’m your new pro for today.”
“And every day,” I replied without thinking. She cocked her head to the side and gave me a questioning look.
Fuck.
“I mean—I don’t just want a trainer for a single day,” I said. “I want an ongoing thing.”
She smiled, satisfied with my cover-up answer. “Well, I’ll do my best not to let you down.”
You could never…
“Why don’t we warm up a bit?” she asked. I nodded and she glanced down at my hand and I realized I was still holding hers.
“I guess you’ll need that back,” I joked, finally letting go. It was the hardest thing I’d done all week—at least.
“Maybe,” she said with a laugh before skipping over to her position.
Christ, look at those legs, I thought as I made my way to mine. Thankfully I was wearing compression shorts or I may have had to call off the entire lesson.
Cady was in killer shape. She had the legs of an athlete, sculpted calves leading up to killer thighs, and with each swing of her racket, her skirt lifted just enough to let countless dirty thoughts invade my mind.
I wished we were playing doubles so she could be on my team and I could get the back view, because with a body like that, there was no way she wasn’t hiding an unbelievable ass under the swaying white fabric that ended just above her knees.
Shit…
Watching her move made me picture how she did other things. I tried to catch her eye a few times as she served to me and we warmed up, but each time she just sort of gave me a polite smile and that was that. She either had her mind completely on what she was doing, or she was already taken.
The second thought made my blood boil.
This girl was probably in college, and picturing her going home to some Chad whose idea of treating a lady right was going halves on a thirty-rack was enough to make me want to spit.
I don’t know how long we were out there on the court, but it felt like the next thing I knew, we were packing things up and calling it a day.
“So, what do you think?” she asked as we walked back to the clubhouse. “Did I pass?”
“Pass?”
“The test,” she smiled. My dick pulsed between my thighs. I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to have her.
“Sorry,” I replied. “What test?”
“The test as to whether or not I’m going to be your new tennis pro!”
“Oh, right!” I laughed as I held the door for her. “Sorry. I’m a bit distracted by…work…”
I nodded at a couple as they went out past us.
“But you definitely passed,” I told her.
Cady’s whole face lit up and she moved like she was going to throw her arms around me but stopped short.
“Oh, I want to hug you, but I’m all sweaty!”
“So am I,” I shrugged. “No big deal.”
“No, I don’t want to be all gross like that with you,” she replied, shaking her head. Little did Cady know that not only did her being sweaty not bother me in the slightest, but I would have buried my face between her thighs right there and licked her until she didn’t remember who she was anymore.
“Are you a member here?” I asked, having a sudden idea.
She shook her head like I was joking—which I was. Even if Cady taught here, there was no way she was a member. This club was beyond exclusive.
“Oh, of course,” she laughed. “I own the place, actually!”
“So that means you’ve got to drive home all sweaty?” I asked.
“It’s not a big deal,” she replied. “I’m used to it—”
“Well, I am a member,” I told her, taking her hand. “Which means I can take you out back to the showers.”
Cady basically froze when I said that, and for the first time since we’d met, I saw a look in her eyes—the look I’d been waiting for—the chink in her armor of professionalism. It was a look that let me know that no matter what came out of her mouth next, she wanted to come back to the showers with me.
“I—I don’t think—”
“That’s okay,” I told her, pulling her close, close enough that I could smell her shampoo (almond-coconut) and feel the warmth from her incredible body. “You don’t have to think. Just come.”
Her mouth hung open and I almost kissed her right then and there, but there were people around and I liked my privacy.
“Mr. Brenton…”
“Please,” I whispered. “Call me Chase.”
I pulled her quickly to the locker room, my heart pounding and my cock aching for her beautiful body. I may have just had a nice hard practice, but I had the endurance for at least a few rounds with her.
Her scent was in my nostrils as I swept her into the showers and tugged the curtain closed behind us—and then I was on her.
My lips found the skin of her neck. I tasted salt and my cock screamed to be let out as I pressed my body against hers.
I felt the firm mounds of her breasts against my chest. She gasped as I brought my lips to hers, but her mouth hung open to accept my kiss like she’d been thinking about it from the moment she saw me.
I certainly had.
I wrapped my arms around her and realized just how small she was compared to me. Her skin was soft but she was firm and sculpted, like a Grecian goddess.
“Mr. Brenton…” she whispered.
“Chase,” I whispered back as I kissed her cheek and then her earlobe. “Call me Chase.”
I found her thigh and lifted the hem of her skirt, traced the line of her quads up and in, expecting to find the fabric of her panties, but that wasn’t what happened.
I felt wetness against my fingertips, and it wasn’t from the light coating of sweat between her thighs, either. No, this sassy tennis pro of mine wasn’t wearing any panties.
Fuck!
I couldn’t resist. I moved my hand higher, curled my finger and went for it, and just as I felt the tight warmth grip the tip of my finger, Cady pulled away.
“N—no,” she stammered, backing toward the curtain. “We can’t.”
“Don’t worry,” I told her. “No one will walk in on us.”
“It’s not that that I’m worried about, it’s—” She stopped, put a hand over her mouth and stood there with her legs together.
“Cady—”
“I have to go,” she said, and before I could stop her, she turned around, pushed the curtain out of her way, and raced out of the locker room, leaving me standing there dumbfounded with my dick hard and my head spinning.
“Holy shit…” I whispered as I reached down and flipped my cock up into my waistband to relieve some of the tension from my shorts.
My whole world felt like it was spinning. Cady had ambushed me with her beauty, then escaped before I could get a taste. And now I was going to have to wait until next Friday for my next lesson so I could see her again?
No. I don’t think so.
Jeremy would know how to find her. We’d warmed up together, but hadn’t gotten our rounds in, and I’d be damned if I was going to let a girl like her get away from me.
Never. Gonna. Happen.
Chapter Two
Cady
I felt like I was going to have a panic attack as I slammed the apartment door shut behind me and locked it.
“Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit,” I muttered to myself as I dropped my back and sank down onto the floor. “That did not just happen.”
“Hey, bitch!” Natasha shouted, almost causing me to jump out of my skin as she came around the corner with a bowl of what looked like whipped cream in her hand. “How was your less—”
She looked at me, stopped, twisted her lip, and cocked her head to the side. Nothing to by Natasha.
“Oh my God. What happened, babe?”
“Who says something happened?” I asked coyly as I got to my feet. I eyed the bowl in her hand. “And what the hell is that?”
“Homemade whipped cream,” she replied simply, as though that was the end of the discussion. I raised my eyebrows. “Okay, fine. I figured I need to learn to be a real woman sometime, so…”
“So you decided to learn to make whipped cream?”
“Exactly.”
“How about, uh…I dunno…a steak or chicken or something?”
“Eh, that’s boring,” she replied as I brushed past her. “I want to be exciting! Speaking of which, how did your lesson go?”
“It was…fine.”
“Uh huh,” Natasha scoffed, obviously not letting it go. Her ESP abilities were pretty annoying sometimes. “So then why are your cheeks red?”
“Natasha, I was playing—”
“And don’t tell me it was because you were playing tennis, because I’ve seen you play tennis before and your cheeks do not get that red.”
Really annoying.
I stopped at the bathroom door and turned around to look at her. She had a fingertip covered in whipped cream and stuffed it happily into her mouth as she waited for me to spill it.
“Fine,” I said with a sigh. “My lesson was with Chase Brenton.”
Natasha stopped with her finger in her mouth. Her eyes went wide, and when she pulled her finger out, a loud popping sound came from her lips.
“Chase. Benton?!” she repeated. “The Chase Benton?”
“The same,” I replied.
“No wonder your face is red!”
> “What’s that supposed to mean?” I asked.
“You fucked him, obviously!” she laughed. “Right?”
“I did not!”
“Why not!?”
“Why not!?” I grumbled as I went into the bathroom. I tried to shut the door but Natasha stopped it with her foot.
“Yes, why not?”
“What do you think I am, Nat? Some kind of slutbag hoe or something?”
“Slutbag hoe!?” she laughed. “Yes, Cady, that’s what I think. You, the girl who’s been on one date since I’ve known you and hasn’t even had sex yet, despite the fact that you’re twenty years old, are a slutbag hoe!”
“Okay, exactly!” I replied. “Why would you think that I’d just have sex with him then?”
“Because he’s Chase Brenton,” she said, as though that was all there was to it. “Just let him knock you up and collect child support for the rest of your life!”
“I’m going to throw up,” I told her.
“I’m just kidding!” she laughed. “Sort of. But tell me the details. He’s hot, right? How’s his…game?”
“Tennis or otherwise?” I smiled. I couldn’t help myself. Tennis just lent itself to all sorts of puns.
“Fuck his tennis game!” Natasha laughed. “Unless you’re talking about…his racket.”
“Okay, you need to leave me alone now,” I told her, pushing her out of the doorway. “I am a sweaty mess and need a shower.”
“Oh, I bet you are,” Natasha winked before I closed the door in her face. She shouted at me from the other side. “I’ll make sure to tell him you’ll be coming over later when he calls!”
