“Shit,” they all say collectively. They got the hint that there are fuckers in the club.
“Fine, we leave in fifteen.”
“Wait a second there, we can’t wear cuts to this place, they won’t let us in. Time to get your dress pants and shirts out, fuckers,” I tell them.
“You’re shitting me?” Winger replies.
“Nope.”
“I’m just going to call and say they can’t go,” Winger says, pulling out his phone.
“Yeah, sure you are. You may be an asshole, but you know Sam would chew your ass for telling her no and will do it anyways. The old ladies are not what I’m worried about, it’s the men,” Tank says.
“Everyone, meet back here in an hour,” Breaker says.
Three hours later….
We make it to the city and contact the prospects. They told us the ladies got a hotel room and are now in club Heat; they weren’t allowed in the club because of dress code, so they are waiting outside.
“Prospects say they are in the club. They weren’t allowed in due to dress code and they didn’t want to start a scene,” I tell the brothers in the car. I get that they didn’t want to start a scene, but they are under no circumstance to leave the old ladies alone without protection. I’m protective over the old ladies, they changed my brothers for the good.
“Those fuckers are going to get shit when I get my hands on them. We gave them a task and they failed,” Breaker says.
I dismissed the prospects and told them to go home. We will deal with them later.
“Turn right up here,” I tell Winger, who’s driving. We are all in his decked-out Range Rover. “The club should be here on the right.” I say.
“Got it.” He pulls right up to the front and valets the car.
We go right up the front, and I give the doorman my name. He lets us in immediately.
“How did you do that?” Winger asks suspiciously. He has always been suspicious of me because he thinks something is wrong with me for not fucking the club whores.
“Money,” I reply.
“My man.” Winger slaps me on the back as he smiles.
Immediately upon walking in, there’s a sea of people dancing. The bar is cramped, and there are VIP tables in the back overlooking the dance floor that get bottle service and a waitress.
“I see my wife,” Tank says, spotting Sky. I look ahead and all the girls are dancing together and dressed very sexy. They are showing more skin than I’ve ever seen before on them.
“Damn,” I say out loud.
“You see something you like?” Breaker says to me.
“I’ve never seen the old ladies dress like that before,” I reply. He looks ahead and spots Charlotte. She is wearing a tight black dress with her tits pushed up and out.
“Fuck me silly,” he says as we all make our way to the women.
They each go up to their woman, kiss them, and start dancing with them. Emma and I are the only ones who don’t have anyone. A random girl starts to grind up on me.
“Sorry, hun, not tonight,” I say as I look at Emma. She looks smoking hot. She is wearing a fire engine red dress that hugs every curve on her body, her hair is down in front of her face, and she has just the right amount of make up on. Shit, she looks great.
“Hey there,” she says to me, pointing to the bar.
“Hi.”
We make our way to the bar and she orders a whiskey straight. I order the same and pay the bartender.
“Please, let me buy you a drink,” she says.
“Not on my watch.” She takes a sip of her drink. I slip the bartender a hundred and thank him.
“Thank you,” she says.
“Anytime, hun.” I sip my whiskey while watching her lick her lips after drinking her drink.
“What are you guys doing here?” she asks me as she turns her back towards the bar, leaning against it.
“We were in the area.” I face the crowd as well.
“You realize this place is more than an hour away from home? I’m not buying it.” She takes another sip. “Plus, you guys are all dressed up like GQ models. I don’t buy it at all. You guys came to check up on us.”
“You could say we have a protective instinct for things that we care about.”
“I’d say so.” She laughs a little. “Tell me, though, why did you come?”
“We do everything together and protect what we care for.” She looks a little startled.
“I didn’t know you guys…”
“Don’t finish that sentence. We don’t share women, those ladies are like my sisters. We just watch after one another.” I can’t believe she thinks we share the women. I can’t help but laugh.
“Don’t laugh.” She punches my arm. “I didn’t know, you guys are just super close, but now I can see how it’s a big family.”
“I’d die for each of those women and men there.” I point to my brothers and their ladies sitting in the VIP section.
“I see. Should we head back to everyone else?”
“Sure. Let’s head back.”
We make our way towards the VIP section and meet up with the rest of the guys and their old ladies.
“Emma!” Liz shouts as she hugs her. “Where did you go? Let’s have some shots,” she yells as she places a long shot in Emma’s hand. “Ready, one, two, three, go.” All the ladies take shots. “Come on, another,” Liz says as she puts another shot in her hand. They take the shot. “Now, let’s dance.” Liz grabs her hand and drags her to the dance floor.
All the other ladies go along except for Charlotte. She’s sitting next to Breaker, cuddling up next to him. I can see all the other brothers watching their ladies dancing.
“How come you’re not down there, Charlotte?” I ask her as I take a seat next to her.
“Because I know this big lug that you call your President would be too jealous, plus my feet hurt. Walking in heels isn’t easy, especially when your work shoes are a pair of Nikes. I haven’t walked in heels in a LONG time.”
Tank interrupts, “I don’t know how you guys wear those things, they are like torture devices for your feet. Sky likes to buy the shoes, but she never wears them. At least not in public,” he says with a shit-eating grin.
“Please, I don’t need to know what she wears them for,” Charlotte breaks in.
Chapter 8
Emma
I can’t believe I’m in a club right now with the ladies from the Corrupted Saints. I honestly thought I was going to get my interview clothes and we would grab dinner and maybe drinks. I didn’t think we were going to end up in a club. I was a little hesitant at first, but I’m happy I came.
“This is so much fun!” Liz yells at me over the music as we dance.
This girl knows how to dance and have fun, that’s for sure. Buzz, her husband, sure has his hands full with her. She’s a spitfire.
“I’m so happy that I came,” I yell back at her. We continue to dance together with all the other ladies. I feel a pair of hands on my waist, and someone grab my hips and pull them into their crotch.
“Whoa, there.” I pull away and turn around. It’s a gorgeous man with extremely piercing blue eyes and blond hair pulled back into a bun.
“Hi, it looks like you know how to have fun,” he says to me as he tries to grab my hips and bring them close to him again.
“Not the kind of fun you’re looking for.” I pull away and go back to Liz.
I start dancing with Liz and the girls again.
“You okay?” she asks me.
“Yeah, I’m fine, he got a little to handsy for me.”
“I don’t blame him. I would grab those curves, too, but only with your permission, of course.” She winks at me.
I feel hands on my hips and someone gyrating on me again. I try to pull away again as I feel their hand moving up my dress on my thighs. I pull away fast and turn around. “Hey!” It’s the same guy. “I told you I wasn’t intereste
d, so please go find someone else.”
“Aw, come on, baby, with the way you are swaying those hips, I can’t resist. How about you come home with me and we can have some more fun?”
“I’m not interested,” I say to him and move back to the girls.
“You okay?” Liz asks.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Nothing I can’t handle. I’m used to guys like that thinking they can just take what they want.” I can’t believe he came back after I said no. I hate creeps like that. They think that just because they are good looking that they can do what they want.
“You wanna go sit down for a bit?” she asks.
“No, let’s keep dancing. I’m having too much fun.” I’m not lying, I haven’t had fun like this in a long time.
“I can’t deny you fun.”
We continue to dance. I feel hands on me again. This time I turn around immediately. It the handsy jerk from before.
“She told you she wasn’t interested. Leave her alone you, creep,” Liz yells out at him.
“Shut up, you fat bitch, this is between red here and me. She’s shaking those hips and jiggling her ass asking for it.”
“Hey, you don’t talk to her like that, you son of a bitch.” I poke my finger into his chest. “Liz, go get security.” Liz walks away.
“Security isn’t going to do anything.” He grabs my hand and pulls me close. His breath reeks of vodka and beer. I feel like I want to puke just from the stench.
“Security may not do anything, but I will. You will let her go before I break that pretty little nose of yours.” It’s Rock. Where did he come from?
“What are you going do, fucker? I know people. You can’t do anything to me.”
“You think I give a shit who you know? I know people, too.” Right at that moment, all the guys from the motorcycle club walk up behind Rock.
“I heard you said some words to my woman, asshole.” It’s Buzz.
Holy shit, these guys look so scary right now.
“Hey man, I didn’t say shit to that fat ass,” he says. Before anyone can do anything, I punch the guy in the face. He knocks out cold on the ground.
Everyone just stares at me.
“What?” I say. “I told him not to call Liz that. He’s a piece of garbage.”
I feel embarrassed with the way they are looking at me, and my hand hurts. I can’t help but cradle it. I haven’t punched a man in a long time.
Buzz turns towards the jackass’s friends. “Come grab your piece of shit friend.” They don’t move. “Now!” he yells. They scurry like little rats.
Where did Rock go? I scan around and see him talking to security. His eyes meet mine, and he walks, more like stalks towards me.
“We need to put ice on your hand,” he says to me as he puts his hand on the small of my back, leading me towards the VIP area. I allow myself to be led.
Before I can say anything, Winger says to me calmly, “You gotta a nice right hook there, little lady.”
Rock brings me a towel with a bunch of ice inside it and puts it on my hand.
“Thanks. I don’t think my hand thinks so. I think I may have broken it,” I say.
“Let me see.” Charlotte takes me hand and examines it. They are all extremely calm and cool about what I just did. I don’t get it.
“Why is everyone so calm and cool about what just happened?” I blurt out.
“Trust us, we are not calm, we’re pissed, but we’re trying to keep our cool right now,” Breaker says. He’s right, they are clenching their jaws, especially Rock, now that I look at them closely. They are each touching their women, too.
“I think your broke a finger,” Charlotte says.
“Damn, do I need to go to the hospital?”
“You don’t have to, but I have privileges at the local hospital, and they have everything I need to set that finger before it starts to cause you even more pain. Plus, I can get some pain meds and an anti-inflammatory in ya.”
“I don’t mind a little pain, but I definitely don’t want it to get worse.” I stand up. “I think we should go.”
“I couldn’t agree more,” Tank says.
Everyone grabs their things, and we head towards the front door. My hand is killing me. We all make it outside together. There are two SUV’s waiting outside for us, and everyone hops in except Rock and me. He helps me into the car and hops right in after me.
He helps me put on my seatbelt and then buckles himself in.
“Thanks.”
Breaker, Charlotte, Buzz, Liz, Rock, and I are in the car. The others went to the hotel and grabbed our things and are headed back home.
There is a very calm silence in the car and it’s killing me. I can feel the anger leeching out of the guys.
“I’m sorry,” I blurt out.
“What for?” Breaker says.
“I feel like I ruined the evening by punching that guy, and now you have to take me to hospital.”
“That’s not something to be sorry for. You did nothing wrong, little lady. That jackass rubbing himself on ya is who should be sorry,” Buzz says.
“Still, I feel bad, I really do. We could have had a nice end to the night.”
“You shouldn’t, you stood up for my girl tonight and for yourself. I think that makes you badass,” Buzz interjects.
Rock is oddly quiet next to me. I can feel heat radiating off his body.
Another couple minutes pass by, and we are in front of a really nice hospital. Wow, this place is huge. Charlotte hops out of the car, and Rock gets out and helps me out of the car.
“Thank you.”
“Here.” He puts his jacket around my shoulders. “Put this on, it’s chilly out.”
“Thanks, I didn’t even think about what I was wearing.”
“I don’t want to cover you up because…” He stops himself.
I want to ask what he was going to say, but Charlotte interjects.
“Come on, missy, let’s get that hand looked at,” she says.
We enter the emergency room and are greeted by a tall, handsome doctor.
The tall, handsome doctor grabs Charlotte and gives her a huge hug. “Charlotte, I haven’t seen you in a while. I got your text. Where’s your friend?”
“This is Emma. She hurt her hand. I am pretty sure she broke a finger.”
“Hi, Emma, I’m Dr. McIntosh, but you can call me Henry. Any friend of Charlotte is a friend of mine, especially if they are as beautiful as you are.” Wow, he is making me blush, that’s for sure.
“Nice to meet you, Doc.”
“How about we get you into a room over here and we take a look at your hand?” Finally.
He leads us to a room in the emergency department, and I sit on the bed they have in there. Charlotte and Rock are with me still. Rock stands by watching everything the doctor is doing. Charlotte had told me she was going to let him take the lead since she has been drinking, and I respect her for knowing her limits.
“How did you do this?” Dr. Henry asks.
“I punched a guy for calling my friend fat,” I blurt out. Rock starts coughing.
“You okay over there?” I ask him.
“Yup, totally fine,” he responds.
“I’m going to have X-ray come in, it will be quick. I want to make sure we aren’t missing anything, and I don’t want your beautiful hands to deform while healing,” Dr. Henry tells me.
“It’s a good thing I have insurance.”
“You don’t need to worry about anything,” Rock says.
I ignore what he says and focus on the guy coming in to give me an X-ray.
“You guys will need to step out while I take the x-ray. It should only be a minute or two, and you can come back to your friend,” the technician says.
Rock and Charlotte step out. I can tell that she’s extremely tired. I feel bad for keeping her.
Chapter 9
Rock
“Charlotte, why don
t you head home? I can take her back. I have my place in the city, and we can swing by my place and grab my car.”
“Are you sure?” Charlotte and Breaker are one of the few who know I have a place in the city. I trust them both with my life.
“I’m positive. You look ready to pass out, and Breaker would have my ass knowing you’re in here like this.” It’s true. Breaker would have my ass.
“I want to make sure that Emma is okay with it before we leave.”
“Ok,” I agree.
The x-ray technician in the hospital was taking an x-ray of her hand. She punched some shithead and knocked him out cold. My brothers held me back after I saw the shithead rubbing up on her, I don’t know what got into me. I’ve never been like that. Then Liz came by and said some guy was harassing her and Emma, and I kicked myself into gear, but she took care of it before we could and now she has a broken hand because I couldn’t get there fast enough.
“Alright, you guys can go back in.”
We walk back into the room, and Emma is lying back in the bed with her eyes closed.
“Everything okay?” Charlotte asks.
“Yeah, everything is fine. He told me I broke my middle finger and a bone in my hand. Dr. Henry is going to come in here and cast up my hand.” She looks so disappointed.
Before we can say anything, Emma speaks. “Look, guys, I appreciate you staying, but you look exhausted, especially you, Charlotte, and I don’t mean any offense by it. I think you guys should head home. I can catch an Uber, I don’t mind.”
“I will take you home. Charlotte is going to drive back with the rest of the brothers. I have a place here in the city that I can grab my car from, and I will take you back.”
“I don’t want to put you out like that,” she says, biting her lip and looking worried.
“You’re not putting me out at all.”
“I will see you guys, take care, okay? Dr. Henry is a good guy and will take care of you. I’m going to talk with him before I leave. I’ll make sure to get all the info so I can take care of you back home.” Charlotte walks over to Emma and gives her a hug.
“Thanks, Charlotte. Please drive safe.”
“We will. Feel better, and I will see you soon.”
