Natalie pulled a face.
“Gatecrashing my own husband’s wedding? Might be a bit upsetting.”
“Mmm,” nodded Rose in agreement. “Is tha having a disco after?”
“Yes, but you don’t have to, you know, dance.”
“Ah, no. I like a dance now an’ then.”
“It’s been a while,” said Natalie. “I might be out of practice.”
“What’s that one with the ‘push pineapple, shake the wotsit’?” asked Rose.
“Agadoo?” said Natalie.
“Aye. I like that ‘un.”
“I should imagine that one’s been long forgotten by now,” said Natalie.
Ella laughed. “Welcome to the future, mum. Prepare to be disappointed.”
