Everything, from Aeden’s gentle arms around me, to the baby moving under my heart, was testament of that.

Hand in hand, we had a future together.

  A Note to You

Thank you for reading Kyna’s and Maira’s story!

Maira and Helios get a second chance and they take it. They’re going to have a happy every after. Maira lives a long life, over a hundred years because of the Fae Nectar magic in her body, then she and Helios bid Earth goodbye together. But you know what? I never actually meant on them being together when I first wrote their story. They were only ever supposed to be friends. They decided to fall in love by themselves.

Kyna and Aeden were the couple I was always going to put together. They also have a happy ever after on the border of the human and Fae world. Their descendants have wild magic. It’s not fixed on anyone form (like Aeden is with fire) because of their human blood. Over the generations, some marry a human and the next might marry a Fae, keeping the line a true almost fifty-fifty mix but only ever having one child. Each generation’s life is tied to the wall around the Red Caps, ever feeding it energy.

After a couple hundred years, the human and Fae worlds become divided by a barrier. Cut off from the Fae world, the Fae’s left in the human world die off and slip into mythology. With the exception of Kyna’s descendants who can move freely between both worlds. In the original outline of Fae Flower, Helios was going to do it himself in the end, but that obviously changed. (Eventually, I might write the story in my head about a modern human girl who comes across a handsome half-Fae and finds out that Fae are real. And scary!)

I hope that you will keep supporting me by looking at my other books as well as keeping an eye out for my new series coming out Winter 2019. I can’t tell you how much it means to me. A great way to show your support is to Leave a Review, even a simple star click. It makes a world of difference to an author.

  Thank you!

  About Me

Stories have always been important in my life. From the skits I made up for my friends while jumping on the trampoline (Moon Prism Power!), to my first full length novel I wrote in 8th grade choir against my teacher’s wishes.

I am married to a wonderful man and we have three very active kids that keep me on my toes. In college, I studied Zoology, Biology, Art, and English. I drove my counselor nuts. I finally settled on wanting to be an author like my mom. (Alysia S Knight – check her out!)

‘Curiosity killed the cat’ is a good saying for me. I love to figure out how all the pieces of the puzzles fit — whether it be in a book, movie, or real-life situation. I like to take what I’ve learned and weave it into my books.
