He wanted a Daddy. While acting in the porn scene with Seb, I couldn’t stop thinking about Nick, and it had made the whole thing so easy.
When Nick and I had danced, I’d been a goner. He’d led me to the back and taken my cock—no mean feat—like a champ. But instead of throwing water on the fire, the experience had stoked it, and I couldn’t stop wondering. Being a Daddy in the bedroom wasn’t half as kinky as some of the things I’d done in the past. It turned me on. He turned me on. When I’d stopped sleeping around, it had called a halt to my sex life. Because I didn’t do relationships. Could I start something monogamously with Nick that we could both enjoy while it lasted? Could I be the Daddy Nick needed? Not forever, of course, but for a while?
I knew the Daddy/boy relationship was different for different people. Nick must have something within him that made him want to submit to an authority figure, at least in the bedroom. I was on board with that. I’d always been the dominant in bed, and although I’d only ever been called Daddy in the heat of sex, I was inexplicably interested in doing it with Nick as much as possible.
Out of the bedroom, taking on the role of caregiver wasn’t foreign to me. I’d watched over my younger brothers back in Brazil, and I’d always looked after my club brothers, just like they looked after me. I’d made a place for myself at Rainbow House as a counselor and now house father. But I wasn’t looking for permanence in a relationship, and I wasn’t fool enough to think I was the type of Daddy Nick would ever want to keep for long—not after Royce and his lavish gifts. Rough around the edges, lower middle class, ex-porn star Jeovanni Mendoza was nowhere close to what the little diva was accustomed to. But we could have a good fling, couldn’t we? That night at The Banana, we’d proved we were physically good together. Hell, we were out-of-the- fucking-stratosphere good together.
But…I wanted him. I could at least see how Nick felt about it.
I kept thinking about it, and a few hours later, while sitting outside smoking a cigarette, I called Tony.
“Hey, Jeo. What’s up?”
“I have a quick question. Does Cane belong to that fancy gay club?”
“Lux? Yeah, we both got a membership. Better to shmooze with other businessmen. Why?”
“I’ve heard they have a kink room on the upper floor.”
“Yeah, they do.”
“You think you can get me in as a guest?”
“Jeo. What are you up to?” Tony sounded suspicious.
“What, you’re surprised I’m interested in kink?”
Tony laughed. “Uh, no. But you’ve never professed an interest in going to a place like Lux.”
My gut coiled. “You think I’m not good enough to go there?”
“Jeo, what the hell? Of course I don’t think that. You always said guys who go there have sticks up their asses. What is it with you lately? Tell me you know I’d never think that.”
I squirmed on the bench I was sitting on and stubbed out my cigarette even though I’d barely smoked half of it. I needed to quit the filthy habit. “Sorry, T. I know.”
“All right, then. Sure, I can get you in as a guest. When do you want to go?”
“Let me do a little research and I’ll let you know. Thanks, man.”
Just asking Nick out for a date wouldn’t work. I had to show him I could be what he wanted. I’d seen a lot of kink in my life, and that included Daddy/boy relationships, but if I really wanted to be what Nick needed, I was going to have to get on the internet and read as much on the subject as I could.
****
Lux was definitely high-brow, all leather and steel and men wearing Armani. I stuck my nose in the air and let my Portuguese accent take over as I made small talk with patrons over a bourbon, lying about being a businessman from Brazil visiting the area. I spent a long time watching people but soon found the place similar to any other kink gathering, just fancier. For the hell of it, I headed for a back room where several BDSM scenes were going on. I already knew whips and chains weren’t my thing, but voyeurism was. Leo Roman, one of the owners and the man who ran the kink floor, breezed through the room after the first scene ended and stopped to introduce himself to me.
“Cane has spoken highly of you,” he said.
Cane and I hadn’t gotten along until he’d proved himself good enough for Tony, but club family stuck together, so his putting in a good word for me didn’t surprise me.
“You have a very nice establishment,” I said.
“You interested in anything in particular?” With wavy blond hair tamed by product, and sharp, green eyes that gazed at me from beneath long lashes, Leo Roman was hot. He appeared almost lazily at ease, but I got the feeling that underneath, he was shrewd and likely kinky as fuck. A year ago, I would have been all over the interested look he graced me with, but right then I felt nothing other than flattered.
“I’m a bit of a…Daddy,” I said, the word feeling surprisingly right on my tongue.
The interest left Leo’s eyes, telling me he was also a dominant.
“Well, then, you are in the wrong part of the building, my friend.”
I frowned. “I thought this was the kink floor.”
“It is, but the softer kinks—such as Daddy/boy—are on the other side of the atrium.”
“Oh, I see.”
“I’m afraid tonight isn’t a busy night, but if you really want to get a feel for it, we have an event coming up next Saturday where there will be plenty of boys to choose from.”
“Can I attend without being a member?” I asked.
“Are you considering joining Lux?”
“Yes,” I lied.
“Then I invite you to come and try it out.” He handed me a card. “That will get you in. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m participating in a scene coming up shortly and must prepare.” He strode away.
I pocketed the card and continued drinking and watching.
Leo reappeared a quarter of an hour later wearing only a tight pair of black leather pants and a pair of boots. He began strapping a lithe young man to a St. Andrew’s Cross.
When the flogging began, Roman moved like a tiger, each strike calculated and precise. The sub tensed with each flick of the whip but was otherwise quiet. I watched until the scene ended, the sub coming untouched. Finishing my drink, I headed for the other end of the kink floor.
As luck would have it, or not so much, Nicks’ ex was the first person I laid eyes on when I entered the room.
“Jeo. What are you doing here?” Royce stood from where he’d been talking to another man at one of the arranged sitting areas.
“I’m Tony’s guest and thought I’d check things out up here. You?”
“I’m a member.” I knew that, of course. I was just a little disconcerted to see him.
“I hear you and Nick split,” I said. “I hope I didn’t play any part in that.”
He gave me a funny look. “What part in it would you play? I had to face up to the fact I was never quite what Nicky needed. Que sera sera and all that.” He took a sip of his drink, eyes roving over the small crowd.
I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. “And what was it he needed, if you don’t mind my asking?”
Royce answered, and when someone caught his attention across the room, he excused himself, heading for a young man by the bar who watched Royce coyly from underneath tussled blond hair.
I left the club, Royce’s words ringing in my ears.
“Hell if I know.”
Interesting.
CHAPTER SEVEN
Nick
Another Daddy/boy event at Lux.
I hadn’t been planning to go, but hell if I was going to succumb to moping around about Jeo. Damn, I’d made the wrong decision when I’d decided I just needed to fuck him out of my brain. Now the man was more embedded in there than ever.
The soft kink rooms were more crowded than I’d ever seen them. I’d thought about how I would dress and the impression I wanted to give off and decided to tone it down this time. I
kept ending up in the back rooms with people I found out were assholes, and I needed to cool it.
So, I wore ripped jeans and a tight T-shirt with a pair of converse sneakers and told myself to avoid Allen Terrell and everything would be fine. Oh, and hopefully Marty wouldn’t be there.
But immediately upon entering the main room upstairs, I spotted him. He’d stopped calling me, thank God, but I’d sensed he was the type who didn’t like to feel dumped. Busy talking up a boy, he thankfully didn’t notice me duck into the crowd and circle to the other side of the bar.
“Two tequila shots, please,” I told the bartender.
I knocked back the first shot quickly, licking salt off the rim of the glass before downing the tequila and then sucking the lime wedge. A slow, warm burn moved down my throat and into my belly, gradually relaxing me, and I took a minute to look around.
Plenty of Daddies were present whom I’d never seen before, many chatting in groups while eying up the boys. I did the second shot, and when I glanced up, I blinked a few times in disbelief at the sight before me.
Jeo sat at the other end of the bar, clearly enjoying the way a ginger-haired twink fawned all over him.
“Another shot?” the bartender asked, and I realized I was clutching my empty glass. I didn’t want to get wasted, so I shook my head and signed the tab. Slipping off the bar stool, I’d intended to go mingle, but my ass walked straight to the source of its recent pleasure.
“Excuse me,” I said, inserting myself between Jeo and the twink.
Rich brown eyes took me in. “Hey, Nick, how’s it going?”
“Do you mind?” the twink asked, pushing me away.
“You’d better keep your hands to yourself, Gingy.” I stared menacingly at the guy, who looked several years younger than I was. “Are you even legal?”
“Yes, I’m legal, and I saw him first.”
I put my hand on my hip. “Oh, I beg to differ, pipsqueak. Now get lost.”
The gingersnap looked me up and down before sticking his nose in the air and walking off.
“That was rude,” Jeo said, but he looked amused.
“Whatever. You can thank me for saving your dick from some itchy STD. What are you doing here?”
“I’m trying out the kink floor as Cane and Tony’s guest.”
“But this is Daddy/boy night. The hard kink is on the other side of the atrium.”
“I’m not interested in the hard kink,” he said, eyes running over me in a way that made my hole clench.
Another goddamn twink approached, this one running his hand over Jeo’s bicep. “Well, hey there, Daddy. Why don’t we head to a back room? I’m great at deep-throating.”
I wanted to punch him in the face. “He’s not your Daddy, and he doesn’t want head from someone whose throat’s seen more traffic than the Holland Tunnel,” I said hotly. “Now go play on the freeway.”
The twink seemed to be trying to decide whether or not he could take me. I flexed my guns and, after a few seconds, he stalked off.
“Damn right,” I said and took a sip of Jeo’s drink, which threw me into a coughing fit.
“You just cock-blocked me,” Jeo said, pounding me on the back with one hand and passing me a napkin with the other. “Twice.”
“Like you need more action,” I said hoarsely, eyes watering.
Jeo’s eyes flashed. “Your hole was the last, fuck you very much.” He leaned closer to me. “And you need to adjust your attitude, little diva.”
“Don’t call me that! And I don’t have to adjust anything for you.”
He smirked, and I immediately thought of how much I’d had to adjust to his big fat cock that night at The Banana. I felt my cheeks heat, but I’d be damned if I walked away from this conversation.
“What the hell were you drinking?” I asked.
“Straight bourbon.”
“It sucks.” I pushed the glass toward him.
“Well, I’m sorry my drink didn’t meet your expectations,” Jeo said.
“Nick. A word?”
Ah, fuck. Marty.
“Sorry, no,” I said, turning my back to him.
“Boy, look at me. You walked out on me and haven’t answered any of my calls.”
“That should have given you the message,” I said. “And I’m not your boy.”
“You’re too sensitive,” he said.
I swung around. “You called me an idiot. In front of a crowd.”
Marty made a face that showed how little he cared that he’d embarrassed me.
“You’re an ass,” I said.
Marty grabbed my arm, and Jeo stood. “If you know what’s good for you, you’ll let him go.” His tone sent shivers up my back and must have done the same to Marty because he dropped my arm and walked away.
“You sure know how to pick ‘em,” Jeo said and downed his drink. He frowned. “Wait, was that the fucker that hurt you?”
I shook my head, staring at where Allen Terrell was making his way through the crowd, eyes zeroed in on me. “That one’s on his way over here now.” I wrapped my arm around Jeo’s neck. “If you like me at all,” I hissed, “you’ll save me from this bastard.” Jeo immediately slid his arm around my waist, tugging me onto his knee.
“Nick,” Allen said. “I’d like to talk to you.”
“Take a number, asshat,” Jeo said.
“What? Who the hell are you?” Terrell looked like he’d never had anyone talk to him that way.
“We don’t have anything to talk about,” I said. “Go away.”
“Oh, no. You embarrassed me. One moment we were having a good time in a back room, and the next you were hightailing it out of here like a drama queen, making Leo Roman think I’d done something to you.”
I leaned into Jeo, his warmth comforting. “I wasn’t enjoying myself, and you hurt me.”
Allen sighed. “Boy, you were into it. You can’t tell me you weren’t. I barely touched you that night. You’re blowing everything out of proportion.”
Jeo leaned forward on the stool until he was nose to nose with Terrell. “I saw the bruises. Unless you want me to report you to Leo Roman myself, you’d better get the hell out of here.”
Allen backed up. He looked at me and sneered. “Bitch.” He walked off, and I melted against Jeo.
“Fuck my life.”
“Why do you pick such assholes?”
Reluctantly, I pulled away. “That’s the million dollar question. Thanks for taking up for me.” I turned to walk away, but Jeo latched onto my hand. The tingles that shot through me at the contact were difficult to ignore.
“Where are you going? Hoped you wanted to spend time with me.”
I frowned. “You’re really here looking for a boy?”
“Yeah, and thanks to you, two cute ones ran away.”
“Since when are you into that?”
“Since recently. Now, how about you show me one of those back rooms everyone’s talking about?”
My cock started to fill.
“Admit it, Nick,” Jeo said. “We’ve got chemistry; we proved that in the back of the club that night.” He leaned closer and ran his tongue over the rim of my ear. Another, stronger, shiver zipped through my body from head to toe. Jeo was so fucking sexy, and even though I’d promised myself I wasn’t going to the back rooms tonight, there was no fucking way I could say no to him. Might as well not even try.
“You took me so good that night, boy.” His warm breath touched my cheek. “We can have a good time.”
“Okay,” I said.
Jeo pulled back and looked at me. “Okay?”
I nodded. We walked together through the crowd and down the dimly lit hall. Only one room was available, and fuck if it wasn’t the one I’d sucked Marty in. Just my luck. Although, looking at Jeo’s cock pressing against the seam of his pants, all thoughts of Marty flew out the window. Jeo closed the door behind us.
The room was set up like a hotel suite with a large bed and a sitting area. I knew from visits wi
th Royce that the large-screen TV offered a variety of porn. Jeo sauntered over to the bed and sat on the edge.
“Come here. I want to talk to you.” The commanding way he spoke had me walking over and sitting next to him without a thought of refusal. He looked me in the eyes. “Like I said before, those guys you’d been with were assholes. They don’t deserve you. Royce didn’t deserve you.”
A piece of my armor slipped at his words, and I broke eye contact to focus on his sensually curved lips.
“I could be a good Daddy to you, Nick.”
My eyes widened and my mouth fell open. “What?”
Jeo ran his hand up my arm and cupped my neck. “I said, we’re good together and I want to be your Daddy. What do you think?”
“What are you saying?” God, I couldn’t be so close to him much longer without either professing my love for him or ripping his clothes off. “You want to start fooling around?”
“I want us to start seeing each other. Exclusively. I haven’t slept with anyone in a long time. You broke that dry spell, and I think we could have some fun.”
Fun? I’d never thought to stay with Royce forever and hadn’t been looking for a serious relationship, but I wasn’t sure I could do that with Jeo.
I licked my lips, liking the way Jeo focused in on my mouth when I did. A heady power consumed me at the thought of having him, even for just a little while. That was all it could be with Jeo—I’d always known that. Well, to be honest, I thought it could only be one time, but here he was, offering more. The two of us—exclusively. I’d be crazy not to take him up on it. Wouldn’t I?
I couldn’t turn him down.
“Okay,” I said. “Sounds…fun.”
Jeo smiled. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay.” He kissed me lightly, and my body thrummed with awareness at how close we were. I ran my hand down his hard chest and smiled coyly. “So, what now?”
Jeo surprised me yet again. “Well, I thought we’d go over one another’s expectations.”
I tugged on one of his chest hairs. “I expect you to pound me into the mattress. Your turn.”
Jeo clasped my hand, bringing it to his lap, and not with the intention of having me feel how hard he was.
