1 teaspoon pickling juice from the hot peppers

1 tablespoon finely chopped hot peppers

  1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard

Slice six hard-cooked eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and mash them with a fork. Mix in vinegar or pickling juice, finely chopped hot peppers, dry mustard, and about 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise or salad dressing or enough to moisten.

Notes: Can also use vinegar or pickle juice instead of the pickling juice from hot peppers. Increase amount of finely chopped hot peppers to taste or omit for mild deviled eggs.
