“You know, despite what our last argument entailed, you have changed in some ways, Evan.”
“I can say the same about you.”
Harvey wrapped his arms around Evan's shoulders. He kissed Evan softly and sighed as Evan returned the embrace. When he drew back, he peeled his eyes open and smiled warmly, pressing the tip of his nose to Evan's nose.
“I like our family like this,” he whispered. “I hope we can keep growing with each other.”
“I think we can aim for that.”
“So, did I set your heart on fire?”
Evan smirked. “You did so much more than that, Harvey. You lit my whole world on fire.”
As Evan leaned into another kiss, his heart exploded with joy. He had retraced the path back to Harvey. He had found a way to reunite that would please them both.
And he intended never to stray again.
