  Chapter 1

  ~Camreigh~

“I just took a wrong turn is all,” Matt argues from behind the wheel. I don’t know what Tina finds so irresistible about the guy. He’s kind of a preppy goober. He wears Dockers and Polo shirts or button downs everywhere he goes. A true southern momma’s boy who will probably follow in his daddy’s footsteps and sell insurance.

“We’re lost,” I announce as we pass by more country scenery. Nothing but rolling farmland for miles. Some cows and wheat not much else to look at but we passed by I shit you not a corral of mini horses. I wanted to stop to pet them, but my friends refused. Jerks. “I’m seriously going to piss all over myself if you don’t pull over soon,” I grumble from the backseat. “I don’t care if I have to squat with the cows.”

Tina laughs. Her dirty blond hair drapes over her shoulders in loose curls. Her bright red lips striking against the white of her teeth and her hazel eyes sparkling with mischief. “That’s a visual I didn’t need in my head. There was a sign for some bar up ahead. We can stop there,” my best friend promises as she glances back at me over the front passenger seat.

Jeff, my date is sweating profusely next to me, his nerves getting the best of him. I can’t believe I let Tina talk me into this date with Matt’s cousin. I knew better, but I didn’t want to be stuck alone on a Friday night either, and it was a free concert ticket. Now I am regretting this poor choice. Jeff may be a super guy but he’s a baby and probably still high school. He looks fifteen and judging by his acne like he has hit a rough patch in puberty. Military man my ass. Maybe he is a member of the JROTC. I’m not an overly vain person, but I’m twenty-three, and I know I’m attractive. I need a real man. But what I need right now more than anything is to escape this car and this nightmare of a date. Not to mention again that we are seriously lost and not going to make the opening act of the show. This night has turned into a total shit show of a nightmare circus I can’t escape from.

The bar comes into view. It’s a biker bar. I know this by the row of motorcycles parked up front and the lack of cars. Matt pulls his BMW into the lot and has barely parked the vehicle before I am unclicking of my seatbelt and scrambling out. I wasn’t kidding. That Hard Lemonade has gone straight through me and my bladder is ready to explode.

A sign on the front says: Roadhouse.

Tina is chasing after me. “Cam, wait up.”

I should pause and wait for my friend, but I am super pissed at her right now. She told me that Matt’s cousin was home on a furlough from the military. I ignore her plea and keep walking. As soon as I am about to walk through the front door someone comes sailing through the glass window. Loud music and laughter filters from inside the bar. Going inside is probably a terrible idea. I look down at the bear of a man who is laying on his back groaning and holding a cut on his forearm. My need to relieve my bladder presses once more, and I decide I would rather go inside than piss myself.

I walk in and don’t look anywhere except for a sign pointing to the bathroom. I ignore the looks and whistles as I maneuver through the crowded bar. I can hear Tina muttering a polite excuse me as she follows me. I find the single stall bathroom at the back of the place near the pool tables, quickly close the door and lock it before she can come in after me.

“Come on, Camreigh. I’m sorry.” Her palm slaps the door, and I pretend not to hear her. My focus is on taking care of business. Sweet relief filters through me, and I let out a sigh. Tina is knocking on the door. “Hurry up, Cam. This place is um…we don’t fit in here.”

I can see her clutching her pearls in my mind. Tina is a good girl and wouldn’t ever come to a bar like this one willingly. Me though…I like to live dangerously. Sometimes you just gotta take a walk on the wild side. We only live once, and I try to make every single day count. I learned at a young age that life is fleeting, and tomorrow is never promised. My twin brother was killed by a motorist who was speeding through our quiet neighborhood when I was eight years old. It was a tragic and senseless accident. Adam had been shooting hoops with our Dad, and I was jumping on the trampoline pretending I was an Olympic gymnast. It all happened so fast. The basketball bounced off the backboard and went into the road, rolling to a stop across the street.

Sometimes when I close my eyes, I can still hear my father’s blood curdling scream, “Adam, nooo,” as the apple of his eye ceased to exist. Then the thumping sound of his little body being thrown over the car. It all happened so quickly.

A shiver runs through me, and I take a deep breath, returning to the present. The thing about memories is they can creep up on you at any moment and shake you to your core. I dry my hands and smooth my features in the mirror.

I open the bathroom door to find Tina, Matt, and Jeff in a huddle waiting for me. Jesus. I strut on past them, ignoring their nervous expressions. I go straight to the bar, taking up a stool next to some guy whose vest says he rides for a club called Black Rebel Rider’s MC. He glances at me then grins. His teeth dig into his bottom lip like he is amused by me. His hand goes around the tumbler on the bar filled with a sunset colored liquid.

“I didn’t know angels came to shitholes like this.” He moves to knock the drink back, but I stop him.

“I’ll let you in on a secret,” I whisper. “I’m no angel.” Placing my hand on his wrist, I guide the glass to my mouth, sucking down the drink that’s strong enough to make my eyes roll back in my head.
>
“My Mom always told me not to play with fire,” he tells me with a chuckle. “But I’ve always been drawn to the flame.”

“You know what they say. If you can’t stand the heat…”

“Get out the kitchen,” he finishes for me with a gritty voice that is deep enough it vibrates all through me.

“Come on. We need to be getting on the road.” Tina is tapping me on the shoulder.

My new friend slides the empty tumbler to the bartender who refills it immediately and adds a second glass, dropping a few cubes of ice in it. I curl my fingers around the cool drink and down it. I’m going to need it to make it through the rest of this night.

“Thanks for the drink.” I lick my lips and start to leave when he stops me.

  “What’s your name?”

“Telling you would spoil the moment.” I wink and follow Tina toward the door. I attempt to fight the urge to look back and lose the battle. Sweet Lord. I lift my head up glancing over my shoulder. I meet his heated gaze, getting a good full look at the man. He’s tall, like tall enough I could climb him like a tree. He’s got muscles and tattoos for days as he folds his arms over his chest and stares me down in challenge. His dark hair lays over his forehead and his green eyes seem to shine with curiosity. Heat travels up my neck and spreads over my face. The way he is looking at me I would bet he is imagining what I’d look like in a lot less than the tight jeans and ripped black top I am wearing. It has little cuts over my cleavage. The dark dusting of stubble on his jaws would tickle my thighs.

I don’t know what makes me do it, but I start back in his direction and wrap a hand around the back of his head and pull him down. On my tip toes, I press my lips to his. I hear someone whistle but ignore them. The taste of liquor stains my tongue as it glides along his. A strong grip seizes my hip right above the waistline of my low-cut jeans, and I love the rough feel of his fingers too much and catch myself letting out a moan. Ending the kiss, I pull back and say, “Maybe we’ll meet again sometime.”

“Maybe we will.” He smirks at me, and I go back to the door where my group is waiting for me.

“What the hell was that?” Tina hisses in my ear.

“I don’t know.” I giggle and touch the soft pads of my red painted fingernails to my lips.

I don’t make it to the car before this bad ass biker gives chase. I can feel his presence as he approaches me from behind. Goosebumps pebble along my arms in awareness of his close proximity.

“We don’t want any trouble,” Matt says with a slight tremble in his voice.

I turn around slowly and stare him down. He’s big, bad, and pure sex.

The biker rubs his jaw and looks at me with such intensity I can scarcely breathe. “It’s sometime,” his rough voice vibrates through every bone in my body.

My lips curve upward, and I can’t deny the smile stretching across my face. I grab my purse from the backseat and Tina gapes at me. “What are you doing?”

“I’ll call you later.” I don’t look back and strut toward the handsome stranger.

  Chapter 2

  ~Camreigh~

I know my friends are watching but I don’t care. I’m living in the moment like my brother would want me to. This might not be his exact idea for me but I’m having fun and taking chances. “What’s your name, tough guy?”

“I’ll tell you mine if you give me yours.” He smirks.

  “No names then.”

He chuckles. “I like you, baby doll.”

  “I like you too.”

His large hands grip my hips as we stand in the middle of the parking lot.

“Cam!?” Tina yells out once more.

I wave a hand over my shoulder.

“I’m leaving,” I hear Matt grumbling, then the closing of three car doors.

“Your friends are leaving. Last chance before I put you on the back of my bike and have my way with you.”

  “I’m counting on it.”

  “It’s like that, huh?”

  “Yeah.” I lean into him.

He tugs on my belt loop and dips his head down to kiss me again. The tip of his liquor stained tongue presses against the seam of my lips demanding entrance. I part my lips and open myself to him. His tongue connects with mine, kissing me in long deep strokes that has my toes curling at thoughts of what else he could do with that tongue.

“Let’s get out of here, pretty girl.”

He leads me to a Harley with a gorgeous paint job. The background is neon green and there is a skeletal couple hand painted in a loving embrace. “You know how to ride?”

  “Yup.”

  “Good. Better hold on tight.”

With my arms wrapped tightly around his waist I hold on for dear life as we roar down the highway. It isn’t long before he turns down a winding dirt road and comes to a stop at a trailer that looks like it’s located behind the bar we were just at. I don’t know why he brought me this way, but I don’t mention it as he helps me off the motorcycle. I follow him up the wooden steps to a natural wood porch that is in progress. He stops short at the door. “Overlook my mess. Remodeling.”

“Yeah sure.” I mean, he’s a bad ass biker, I’m not expecting the place to be immaculate. We both know why I am here. It’s a one time thing. One night. A thrill. Nothing more. I’m not worried about getting pregnant. When I was in middle school my appendix ruptured and they discovered my right fallopian tube was wrapped around my ovary and removed it. My periods have always been screwy. I tried birth control, but it made my eyes dry and I gained fifteen pounds. It was a bitch to lose the weight. My doctor said I would have better chances at playing the lottery than conceiving.

As soon as he unlocks the door and I step through he’s on me. Clothes go flying through the air in the darkness. I stumble through the mobile home as he guides me to what I am assuming is the bedroom. Left in my red bra and matching thong, he pushes me down onto the bed. With his mouth on mine, he jerks the cups down nearly ripping the silky material to fondle my breasts. Pinching a nipple between his fingers, he rolls the tender skin back and forth until it hardens, repeating the motion with the other. His other hand slides between my thighs, pushing them apart.

Yanking my thong down to my ankles he isn’t wasting any time in getting down to business.

I don’t even know his name but right now I don’t care. I’m a woman who knows what she wants and right now what I want is for him to fuck me silly. My biker doesn’t disappoint.

His naked, tattooed, and muscular body presses mine down in the mattress. His mouth, tongue, fingers, and cock assault my body at once. He’s touching me all over as he glides his thick erection into my silken heat, stoking my fire. I’m burning for him. I let out a moan as he sinks further in, hitting me in the right spot. The rough pad of his finger circles my clit while he thrusts his hips. I’m already close to my release. The man moves fast and I’m not complaining. I’m getting exactly what I came here for. A good hard fuck. Our bodies are slick with sweat as we change positions.

Face down, ass up, on my knees I grip the headboard. My lover isn’t taking it easy on me. Holding my hips, he hammers his body into mine. With every stroke of his cock I come a little more undone. My eyes go back in my head as the orgasm rakes through my veins. I tremble and shake beneath him.

Teeth sinking into my shoulder, his cock twitches inside me. The warmth of his essence runs down my thighs as he collapse next to me in the bed.

“Fuck.” He lets out a breath and smiles at me. A minute later he’s rolling out of the bed and tossing my clothes at me. Any other girl may be offended but I didn’t come here looking for love.

“Where can I drop you at?”

“With my friends. I’ll call them and see where we can meet.”

  **

After getting a text back from Tina my nameless biker drops me off at a diner the next town over. I know I look rough and just fucked but I don’t care. It was fun. I plan to live fast and free.

I find Tina, Matt, and J
eff sitting in a booth sipping sodas and eating some fries.

“Hey.” I offer them a smile.

“I gotta go the bathroom,” Tina announces, and I follow her knowing she is probably going to lecture me. The door closes behind me and she leans against the sink with her arms folded over chest. “So…how was it?” She grins, surprising me.

  “What?” I laugh.

“You heard me.” She swats at me. “That guy was hot. What’s his name?”

  “I um…”

“Oh. My. God. You hussy. You didn’t get his name?”

I shake my head and move to the mirror and look at my appearance. My short wavy hair is wild and in knots. My face is still flushed, and I have a hickey on my neck. “It was intense. Fast, but damn good. The man can do things with his mouth. Not to mention he was packing some heat.”

  Tina smirks. “You’re so bad.”

  “I know. I just…I don’t know. It felt right.”

“I’m just glad you’re okay. I thought for sure I’d be reporting you missing tomorrow morning.”

  “Gee thanks.”

Holding her palms out she says, “Hey. I watch the news.”

“Maybe we should go back and see if he has a friend for you,” I tease, sticking my tongue out at her.

  “Maybe.” Her face goes red.

My brow shoots up. “Matt still stuck on waiting till marriage?”

Tina rolls her eyes. “He’s very religious.”

“Or maybe he’s gay,” I suggest. I love Tina to death but her and Matt have been together since the ninth grade and he has barely finger fucked her. I get that not everyone is sexual, but they have been together like ten years. They have been engaged for two. I just don’t understand why they haven’t had sex or even came close. “Don’t you ever want more?”

“Of course, but I’ve waited this long. In another year he’ll take over at his father’s insurance firm and then we’ll start building our house and have our dream wedding.”
